We drove down all the way from Duluth, MN to come see Tracy Fanning. Tracy has been my tattoo artist since 2004. Hes a rising star, and hes in a great location learning from other great artist at his shop.The shop has all the commodities 4 professional licensed artist. 1 body piercing artist as well. All the artist are as professional as they come, and can meet all kinds of requests.The shop is directly across the street from Wells Fargo Bank. A few minutes away from Hard Rock Casino and hotel, Tyson Events center. A Rock skip to Nebraska and South Dakota.This town has so much to do. We will definitely be back again.

I have only had Toad as an artist, BUT I can tell you I love him and his work. He has done 3 of my tattoos, and I will be scheduling with him again. I have heard great things about the other artists there too.

I usually don’t write reviews but I had to for Living Arts. I got my first tattoo in September 2020 by Tracy and he did such an amazing job. I was so nervous, being it was my 1st and a sternum tattoo, and he was such a sweetheart and made sure I was comfortable and calmed my nerves. Before doing lines, shading, and dot work he would let me know so I knew what to expect. I will definitely be going back and highly recommended going to see him!!!!

Hostile. Belligerent. Nepotism at its worse.Made an appointment over half a year ago. Called a couple weeks prior of my appointment to get a design made up.Called multiple times and emailed. Was told my info was taken down and that they would be on contact. Never got a call back. The email I received was pure incompetency as if the person didnt even read my email or questions.All I wanted was a design made up a couple weeks in advance as Ive waited over a half a year and did not want to dislike the design and have to wait another half a year till the artist was free again.After calling, I explained to the girl on the phone that I havent been contacted (Same person Ive talked to twice in the prior week without hearing back) After explaining my issue very calming and saying she didnt understand me. She broke down crying and gave the phone to the owner (Her dad).The owner became very irate and hostile. He was short with me and just unprofessional. The owner insisted I was the problem in the situation and that I was the rude person saying he had contacted me with the right info (It wasnt and i read off the email). To which brought up more belligerence and hostility.Thankfully I was able to get my deposit back but after waiting over half a year to get no answers. Then getting blamed by an irate and hostile owner.I would not give these people a dime of your money or your time.Edit: The lady took my info down and when I expressed that I wasnt contacted to the owner.. The owner stated that they DO NOT do call backs. So what was the point of of doing this?Have more competent people run your shop.

Hands down the best experience ever. Andy took his time to know what we were asking for, and made sure it go in detail on how to clean and maintain the tattoo after completing it. Very easy to talk to and handled us in a timely manner. Best shop in town.

Awesome shop. Tracy was well worth the wait for my piece. Everything was clean and the artists are very nice and welcoming. Have had issues in the past with other shops not wanting to work on my existing art but these guys are willing to help. Just an awesome experience all around and i cant wait to get back in.

Went elsewhere to get a septum piercing and I could tell it wasn’t right. Went to have Steve look at it and he was super nice nice telling me it wasn’t right and had to be removed and could tell me exactly why. He was super knowledgeable and nice. Then quickly pierced my nostril a second time and switched out the jewelry in my other nostril piercing. Super professional. Seen him one other time for a piercing and have decided he will be my permanent piercer.

Steve is the person to go to! Went in for a nose piercing, was very nervous but Steve was super polite, patient and talked to me throughout. Made me feel comfortable and made sure i knew i was in good hands! Will be going back soon. Overall place looked nice, very polite staff. Process was quick and easy

I got a pretty simple tattoo, an exact copy of one my Dad got in 1955.He & his friends did tattoos themselves. Dad came to the appointment with me. The artist was very engaging with him & enjoyed hearing the story. I was very happy with my 1st tattoo experience.

I absolutely love this shop. I had some work done on my stomach/sternum by Andy. He was friendly, quick, and went out of his way to make sure I was comfortable. All members of the team are extremely talented, if you want a beautiful piece, I highly recommend.

5 Stars! Toad was very thural in his consultation. Price was reasonable and to be honest, I would of paid double as the work is great! Everyone was so kind and even got me coffee! Ive already booked my next one! Thank you guys for being more professional than Ive had with other shops!

Fantastic place and amazing people. Kevin did my tattoo which covers my entire right forearm. Took about two and a half years to finish all on my part. When you set up an appointment, it might not be until a couple months later, but it is definitely worth the wait and price.

This place is never open. When calling the number available, it says to leave a message or text which I have and after a week still no response which is too bad because from the reviews others left, it sounds like a good place to get a tattoo.

Toad has started my sleeve and he’s done an amazing job. Living art has always treated me nicely and have been understanding especially when I had to constantly change my appt due to pregnancy and then Covid happened. I absolutely love this place.

I would give 0 stars if i could. My artist left and they refuse to give my deposit back now. I have contacted the business and owner Andy many times only to be ignored every time. DO NOT give your business this money as they will steal it and keep it for work not completed.

Absolutely the best place to go for a tattoo!! Andy is amazing and his work is gorgeous!! My daughter goes to toad and he does amazing work as well! Everyone there is so nice and professional and such a fun environment!! I wouldn’t go anywhere else!!!!

Toad did an awesome job and Im very pleased with the work that he did. My tattoos are vibrant and beautiful. Im proud to show them off and I point everyone in the direction of Living Art Studio. I will def be going back in the not so distant future. Thanks again!

I only give them one star because their piercer is cool, but if I could give them 0 stars I would. Very unprofessional. I had a tattoo appointment scheduled out for three months. Four days before my appointment they texted me telling me I need to reschedule because the person doing my tattoo quit TWO MONTHS AGO. I texted them back to reschedule and they had another person in mind, but they didnt even know what I wanted to get done or where so how could they know that was the right person? They couldnt get me in on my original date and said Id have to wait another three months to get an appointment, but oh, Im at the top of their cancelation list. I walk in there and ask for my deposit back. They said I could not have it back but they would give me credit for jewelry, a piercing, clothing, etc. Or else I would have to go find the tattoo person myself and get my deposit back from him. They were talking a bunch of smack about the tattoo artist and when another person tried to talk, the main guy talking to me would hold up his hand, cut them off, and say let me talk. I could have gone to another place to get my tattoo done two months earlier, but I chose to stick with them and instead got ripped off.

By far the best place in town to get some ink. Kevin does all of my work and always leaves me in awe at his skill.

Went in last year to get a coverup. Kevin did an amazing job! He took the time to make sure the design was exactly what I wanted, and it turned out even better than I expected! The design, colors, and shading are perfect. I’ve had it just over a year and I still can’t see the original tattoo that got covered up, and I know what to look for and where — he’s that good! He definitely knows what he’s doing. My best friend and I went to Kevin to get matching tattoos, which also turned out amazing, and I’ve booked an appointment to add onto my coverup that he did...he did such a great job I want more! Anyone looking for a recommendation for a tattoo should definitely check out Living Art. I’m partial to Kevin because he’s 2 for 2 with my ink, but all the artists have great portfolios and I don’t think you can make a wrong choice with any of them. Clean shop, professional artists, laid back atmosphere, stellar work...I have no complaints, only high praise for Living Art.

Amazing easy going atmosphere. There are amazing artists here and they make sure that you like the styles of the different artists before you choose. They are very honest with can be done and can’t be done... even if they can’t do something they will accommodate to make sure you are happy with your work. I will never go to any other shop!

My wife got her ears pierced. At first it seemed expensive for what it was, but the lady there was awesome and very friendly, clean, and helpful, and my wife had zero problems afterwards so it ended up totally worth it. Talked to the tattoo artists and they were very helpful and friendly too. Looking forward to getting a tattoo there soon.

Professional & friendly staff. Huge selection of jewelry to choose from for piercings. The piercer was very clean, precise, and quick. My piercing was half the cost of anywhere else Ive been to or called in town. Will definitely be going back!!

Do not come here for a piercing. The guy doesn’t know what he’s doing. He pierced my nose as a 16g which is too big and he pierced it too low. Really sad but got it fixed down the block at thornside. Their main specialty here is tattoos and definitely not piercings.

Second experience. I keep bringing new friends in for piercings because its professionally done in a very clean work area. I love that I can walk in and get work done. Piercings are spontaneous 🤪

I’ve been watching Andy’s tattoo work from some time and met him through a great friend of mine. Andy’s work is always great. As an artist myself it’s a bit hard to appreciate everyone’s work but I’ve always loved Andy’s.

Once again another great piece added to my sleeve. I have been tattooed by Andy and Clint and love the work both have done! Layed back chilled environment! Wouldnt go anywhere else!

Made an appointment with Andy 5 months in advance and put a 100$ deposit down for 10/11. It was scheduled for an all day 8 hr session for a half sleeve I took 3 days off work to let it heal and he had someone call to cancel on me an hour before I went in. I rescheduled for 11/1 at 9AM I go in there and he has another customer scheduled at the same time and tells me to come back at 12. I didn’t and didn’t like the stencil he had drawn up so we rescheduled again for 11/16 at 4PM I took multiple days off work again and they called me around 1PM canceling my appointment for 2PM when it was scheduled for 4PM. They said Andy would call me back the following Tuesday to reschedule and I have still never heard from him.

Kevin did my cherry blossom tattoo going up my right leg.. 4, 3 hour sessions.. free hand! It’s the most beautiful thing on my body!! Looking forward to my left leg work..

The piercer is very nice and amazing at piercings, he knows what he is doing. He is chilled, relaxed, and knowledgeable! All in all a great guy and an amazing piercer.

I had made an appointment and paid in full for a five hour session and was givin an appointment card which my friend kept when the appointment came close seeing as though I did not have possession of the card gave a call to the shop to make certain the time of the appointment they gave me the time and we should up and was told we were an hour late ( they had someone in the chair when we walked in being done up by said artist ) i asked if Id still have at least the other four hours i had already paid for whether that be rescheduled appointment or otherwise and was informed my slot in its entirety was no longer mine and the 260$ I gave was to be taken and that I was to leave without product or my money there was no understanding of the situation by the owner either after he was made aware of it be wary of this shop misunderstandings are not taken well

Toad made me feel relaxed and comfortable, even though it was my first tattoo. Fast, sanitary, and beautiful work.

I always leave with a good story and laughs, and awesome art work. The guys are friendly and welcoming and very helpful with any questions or suggestions you may have.

Clint did an amazing job on my tattoo, definitely going back to him. Nothing to complain about just great artists with great ideas.

Staff is easy to work with and my tattoo looks even better than expected. Ill definitely be going back for my next one.
