Moon Rae offers high quality tattoos and a relaxed, friendly atmosphere. I have gotten all 5 of my tattoos (and counting) done with Morgan.

Erin Bennett rocks. Met her for my first tattoo in December 2004. Getting my 40th tattoo on Aug 21, 2024...honoring her for giving me my first ink, 20 years ago.

I couldn’t recommend this shop enough, it’s the only shop I will be going to in Sioux Falls from now on! I got my tattoo done by Morgan - she was very kind and is an amazing artist! I love that Moon Rae is woman run and owned, the shop felt super safe and welcoming! I am obsessed with my tattoo and will be back for more in the near future

After a couple less than enjoyable appointments elsewhere with other artists, visiting Moon Rae for consultations and appointments was a delight. The environment is safe and healing, theres no judgement of subject choice, breaks needed, or concerns being voiced.Sierra worked through a couple ideas with me for a cover up piece and I couldnt be more pleased with the result!

This shop is full of the most understanding, caring, and talented women. Each of them puts their heart and soul into their pieces and you can tell. Allison is a superb artist with a genuine love for her work. I cannot reccommend her or her shop enough. 1000/10.

I adore Moon Rae Tattoo. Importantly, the artists are all incredibly talented. I have gotten two tattoos from Ally and both make me feel like I’m a walking art gallery - they are so gorgeous. My husband went to Sierra for his first tattoo, and she did a great job as well. I could not be happier with the quality of their work, and you can tell they take pride in what they do.Also very important - Moon Rae is such a friendly, welcoming, and accepting space. I immediately felt very comfortable here as someone who is queer. And I felt comfortable as a client! Ally always asks for my feedback and makes sure that I get what I want out of the experience. This is so important, especially as I was with her for 5 hours for my last tattoo - you definitely want to be with someone who is kind and going to listen to you if you’re going to have them tattoo you for five hours! Also, as I got my tattoo during COVID, Ally went out of her way to make sure that we both felt comfortable and safe. Lots of hand washing, a phone sanitizing, masks, and a very clean workspace made me feel comfortable.Again, I can’t say enough good things about Ally and Moon Rae Tattoo. Will definitely be going back here for my next tattoo!

Erin was not only very talented and designed my tattoo beautifully, but she is very professional and provided the best customer service.I love, love the atmosphere at Moon Rae- it’s very feminine, progressive, and welcoming.I’ve had other tattoos and this is by far the best tattoo I’ve received. I felt the most welcome and safe at Moon Rae. I can’t recommend enough!

This is a wonderful business to have in SF. 1st tattoo experience was positive- they were patient with questions/concerns. Sierra is a very talented artist! Do plan ahead, as they book appointments in advance.

This is the first place Ive ever gotten a tattoo and today I got my second one and I have to say that all of them are extremely professional welcoming friendly and overall create a great atmosphere. Additionally all of their work is phenomenal and I cant recommend them more :)

I sincerely do not think there is any other tattoo shop worth going to in Sioux Falls, other than Moon Rae. Ive gotten tattoos in other states and at conventions, and Ive never felt more comfortable and relaxed while getting a tattoo than here. Its clean, secure, professional, I dont have to worry about random strangers walking in and oogling me while Im getting tattooed. My artist Sierra was very attentive and so well versed in her craft that she made the tattoo in my mind come to life better than I imagined. And this is the kind of quality youll recieve from each artist there. Even if I move to another state, Ill spend the money to come back here and only be tattooed at Moon Rae. Best tattoo shop in town, hands down.

Such a gem to the tattoo community in Sioux Falls. If you’re looking for a CLEAN and amazing vibe with great talent this is the shop for you. All 3 women who tattoo are amazingly talented and the shop is just so neatly decorated very calm and welcoming to all persons and very inclusive. Amazing love coming here and almost done with my sleeve!

Just got a beautiful tattoo done by Erin today. She was awesome! The piece turned out amazing. I cannot say enough about what a great experience I had.

This place made me feel comfortable getting my first tattoo. They have a very laid back environment that made me feel safe and makes everyone feel welcome. All the artists are extraordinary and you can feel safe letting them put artwork onto your body.

Excellent work and wonderful studio. Erin is excellent. Do yourself a favor and get on her books. Shell do whatever you like and also give you advice on how itll look the best.

One on one service with a cozy atmosphere where you dont have to worry about tons of people walking in constantly. My artist there (Sierra) is so amazing, she takes the time to make my ideas beautiful.

The ladies that run the shop are super cool and kind, not to mention talented!! The whole shop feels very warm and welcoming and the tattoos you get by the end are perfect!!
