I came in as a walk-in for my latest tattoo, and Jade took such good care of me! The session was through faster than I thought it’d be, and I was super comfortable the whole time. She paid attention to any details I mentioned with the design and did it all for a great price. :) I’ve been looking for a reliable artist to stick with, and I’ll definitely be returning.

Came in tonight, wanted a quick tattoo. My first time visiting and Avery delivered. She was patient with me while I found exactly what I wanted. It was quick. Painless. And turned out beautifully!

For the last 18 years I have been a loyal customer to ink injections and this location. Would not go anywhere else to be honest. Today was yet another amazing experience with Ms Avery. Working her butt off to make sure all the piercings coming in and out were getting done and taking care of my entire families tattoos. Get it Girl!!! You are doing an amazing job!! See yall soon!

We’ve been here twice and they are amazing. They never disappoint. Today my husband and I got tattoos by Casey and he was fantastic. He was very friendly, professional and very talented. We came in with a picture of an idea we had, and he recreated it and made it even better. This will forever be our to-go place! Loved the vibes, the place is very clean and everyone he was super nice.

Shoutout to Tyler! This was my first ever tattoo, and he definitely made the experience a chill one. While getting my tattoo, he consistently checked in on how I was feeling and conversed with me during the whole process! I can’t forget to mention that I absolutely love how it turned out, he is incredibly talented! I’ve already recommenced the location & Tyler to a few people!

I found this shop when looking for a piercer for my daughter. Avery pierced our daughters helix and nose a couple of days ago. She was very detailed in the process and care after.My husband and I walked in on our date night. We decided on the flash sheet designs by Avery. Avery tattooed both of mine. Tyler did my husbands since they got super busy with walk in piercings but they are both great artists. Perfectly done!We already have plans to come back to get bigger pieces done to finish our sleeves.

Always a great time here. You will always feel welcomed and they give top notch service for everything. Piercings and tattoos are A++. Everyone here wants to make sure you are happy with whatever service you get. You’re always greeted the moment you walk through the door and you are acknowledged. The customer service here is top tier. Tat2 Frank been doing this a while and his talent does not disappoint. There are some young artists here as well and they are phenomenal. I can say, whichever artist you go to here, you will leave happy and ready to come back for your next one.

My daughter and I got matching tattoos, it was her first time and Casey did her moon tattoo, she said it was a great experience, very comforting and it was a beautiful tattoo! She also got a nose piercing and said it was very effortless and Lexi did an amazing job! Lexi also did my sunshine tattoo and added shading and it really made the look! Beautiful tattoos, they are both amazing artists! Definitely recommend both of them for sure!!

Kaylee was amazing! 10/10 recommend her! She is so kind and explains everything so so well with such detail. She will help guide you to get the best tattoo possible! She has a very light hand and for someone who is a chatterbox like myself will carry a great conversation!! Will definitely be returning! I am beyond pleased.

10/10 would recommend just on Kaylee alone. I’ve been to this shop a few times and had decent experiences, but this last time she made the experience the best. I got an “intimate” piercing done and my husband got his nostril done. She handled everything with such grace and knowledge. She was super professional but also just had a great attitude. Everything was very clean annd organized. Also the two girls working the front were so sweet too. Wait time wasn’t too crazy. I would highly recommend her to anyone I know needing a piercing.

I’ve been to skin stories multiple times before for tattoos and piercings, I’ve always had a very pleasant and easy experience with every artist I’ve had work done with :)) most recently yesterday evening i went and got a tattoo from Kaylee and it is such amazing work ! and it was a very easy comfortable process , she was kind and very professional. I’ve found my new permanent shop i will continue to go to from now on 😊 10/10 recommend this shop.

I do not remember the womens name but she did an amazing job! It was mine and my boyfriends first tattoos and she drew up what we had imagined perfectly. She was so gentle and sanitary. She also walked us through the whole process, informed us of after care, and held great conversations.

Stopped by on a Saturday morning at 1:15 am so that my daughters nose piercing could be fixed. The young lady who helped us was so compassionate and kind which really helped my daughters anxiety. She fixed her right up in 5 minutes. Id absolutely visit this place for my next piece. Clean, welcoming and professional - well deserved 5/5!

Frankie has to be one of the best piercers in TEXAS YALL! I brought my friend to get her belly button pierced and he made her feel safe and taken care of throughout the whole process. He even squeezed her in to his schedule, come see him!🤞

Came in for a septum :) the environment inside is clean and the staff are super sweet. gabriel was so patient and right to the point. explained the procedure and hiding process clearly. I usually drive milesss to get any of my piercing done and i’m glad to have searched for a better place nearby and more comfortable. tysm ^_^

I DONT EVEN KNOW WHAT TO SAY!!! This is easily the best tattoo shop I’ve ever been to. Everyone is extremely nice and professional , it’s super clean and kept up, and the work here is ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE!!! I contacted Lorelei asking her if she could do my first tattoo, I only sent her a few inspirational photos and some of her tattoos for what I wanted. Im still amazed she could make the design she did just with that!! She was an amazing artist in general and didnt seem to mind me being quiet the whole tattoo and understood when I needed breaks. I went in on Sunday at 4:30 and I was out a lot faster than I thought I would be, She was genuinely so sweet I can not wait to get another one from her!!

Took our 8yr old to get her ears pierced and honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience for her! Frankie was so amazingly patient, kind, gentle and made sure to explain every step so there were no scary surprises. She did great and is so happy with his work, not a single tear or scared moment. Not only was he amazing with her but took the time to show the kids how tattooing works and answer all their questions. Shop is very clean and absolutely recommend for any piercing/tattoo needs.

I came here for my first tattoo and worked with Lorelei. She drew up an amazing tattoo based off what I wanted and was really thorough in making sure the end result look how I wanted. She was also super attentive to my needs while doing the tattoo and made the whole experience stress-free for a first timer. I will definitely be coming back to see her again!

I’ve been extremely happy with my tattoos done by Tyler, and piercings I have gotten here have each gone smoothly and healed well.Someone always greets people when they walk in, and I’ve never had to wait long to be checked in and get in line. There are stools and benches for people to sit on while they wait their turn. Please note that this shop is CASH only! There is an ATM at the front of the shop that allows you to take out $200.00 at a time – Come prepared, if you are getting something done, or be ready to pay a fee for the ATM withdrawal. There is also a vending machine stocked with snacks and drinks.I got my septum pierced on my first visit back in 2022. I came back soon after for double lobe piercings on both ears. Mid 2023 I went back in for a rook piercing. Not all of these were done by the same piercer, but they have all healed well, and I always felt comfortable in the shop’s piercing area.End of last year, Tyler posted some flash that caught my eye, and I scheduled an appointment. The flash piece I wanted didn’t fit in the spot where I wanted it; which was bittersweet, but I paid a deposit and set up another time slot with Tyler to get a custom design.I have now gone to Tyler for eight tattoos since last December.Tyler has made getting tattoos as easy and enjoyable as they could be—He is super friendly, transparent with all the steps he takes, checks in on you during the session, and he is always accommodating when I’ve waited to change a design, color, or placement of a tattoo. We don’t start until I am completely happy, and each tattoo has been true to the approved design. I already have three more of his flash pieces on my wish list!I’ve seen some cool pieces done by other artists, too, while at my appointments. Casey has been tattooing me for a few years now and every time I’m blown away. I love his work so much, and communicating with him is really easy - he’s a very down to earth chill dude. My most recent tattoo, I gave him an idea of what I wanted it to mean. And he took it and ran with it and created something more meaningful than I could imagine💛

Avery did an amazing job piercing my helix and lobe! She was super kind and explained the aftercare process very thoroughly, which I appreciated since this was my first piercing experience.

Went in to buy body jewelry , did not have a good experience with piercer. Earring fell out within an hour of placement. Also for a place that only takes cash you would think they had change 🤔 but that day they were all out of change. Staff was nice.

I went here to get my nipples pierced and it was such a great experience. I walked in and Priscilla talked to me and really helped calm my nerves. She’s very friendly. Frankie was my piercer and he was informative, calming and very accommodating. He made sure I was comfortable and talked me through the entire process. The piercing was painful (the intense pain was over in under a minute) but Priscilla stood next to me and held my hand and Frankie helped me with breathing and let me hold on to his leg. I almost passed out and Frankie and Priscilla took really good care of me with giving me a glucose gummy, wiping me with alcohol, putting on the fan and giving me cold water. They stayed with me and talked with me until I was feeling better and then Frankie explained after care. I was well taken care of.I took my husband the next day to get a tattoo done by Javier. He was also very easy to talk with, he made us feel comfortable and laughed and talked the entire time. My husband was very satisfied with the design and finished tattoo. He is a very experienced and capable artist and we would definitely be going back.10 stars for this shop! ✨

I’m a fan of Skin Stories! Frankie pierced my daith almost three years ago. I thought I could take the earrings out without any issues for a surgery, but after three weeks, I couldn’t put them back in. My husband drove me to the shop and Frankie quickly fixed the problem. Everyone there is so helpful and they make you feel like family. I highly recommend this place to anyone. The piercing room is calm and relaxing, which is great for kids or anyone who needs a stress-free experience.

I saw a special on Facebook and decided to finally go get a daith piercing done, and the guy was awesome that did it. I knew it was gonna hurt, but I wasnt prepared for how much, but he talked me through it and was patient. I wish I would have gotten his name.

I had the absolute best experience at Skin Stories. I originally came into the shop wanting a new tattoo and ended up leaving with a BEAUTIFUL coverup. I was taken care of by Anton and to say the experience was anything less than amazing would be a lie. He was very educated on what he was doing , very focused and took his time to ensure it was perfect. You could tell he loved his job and loved his work. He had a very clean station and made sure my comfort was a top priority. I have gotten multiple tattoos at multiple shops and I will say this was definitely the best experience I have had in a long time. I even reached out to book another piece with him to start on a full sleeve. If you’re looking into getting a tattoo here, I would highly recommend booking with Anton! Obsessed is an understatement.

Skin stories was the store I got my first tattoo at, haven’t been anywhere else. Javier has been my ‘go-to’ artist for about a year and a half now, he has amazing work and he always makes sure you’re comfortable and keeps good conversations. He tattooed a drawing of mine on my thigh and it was like a copy and paste. I always refer to him when people ask about my tattoos.. he’s amazing fr fr !!!! 10/10

My sisters and I went in on a Friday night to get matching tattoos for our birthday. We were immediately greeted by Javier. We showed him an idea of what we wanted and he sketched EXACTLY what we were envisioning! He got us started pretty quickly and did such a good job! I came here with my brother to get tattoos of my own design. Casey was great! He was more than willing to make small edits to my design to make sure it would look good on my skin over the long run. I came for a Helix piercing on Monday. Avery did my piercing and it was not painful at all.

We went in for three walk-ins probably about two hours prior to closing and Anton/TonP did all three, stayed way past their closing with us kept great vibes and joked with us the whole time and did great work on our tats ! We’ll definitely be back !

This place is awesome! I went to get a tattoo to remember my grandmother who passed away and these guys were so good! Brianna did a stellar job on this tulip and was so cool to talk to. Ill be back at least 4 more times.This is an update: Ive been in once a month for 5 months and have one or two to go. Everyone in the shop is kind and the atmosphere feels like were all hanging out and some hanging out are being worked on. Its relaxed and easy going. The artist working with me is Kaylee and despite the relaxed feel, she is very professional. Great place!!!

Im in love with my first tattoo!! Holds special meaning for me. I was really nervous about how much pain I would experience but Casey put me at ease. Came by to buy 1 eyebrow jewelry, 1 ear lobe stud jewelry, and 1 nose stud jewelry, there was only one customer in there getting tattooed cause it was during the day, while we waited, the tattoo artist asked us what we need and let us know the pierced Frankie will be with us in a minute once he’s done with a customer. Frankie helped us, and he was very professional… he knew what he was talking about. He was NOT judgemental… he was fast, and sweet! Highly recommend Frankie & Skin Stories! Thank you!

Frankie re pierced my nose today after it accidentally fell out. He told me exactly what to do to make sure it heals properly and he told me how to clean it. Came here last year to get my second lobes done. The dude was talking to his friend the entire time, didnt even take the time to make sure the marks were even. Sure enough they werent. Went to a more experienced place & they told me they were really uneven. One ear the holes are close together & the other ear they are far apart. Look so terrible. I was recommended this place by my friends & they never had problems like that. I just had a bad experience overall.

Kaylee was very professional and attentive to us both, she went right to work drawing and making a plan. The tattoo is exactly what I wanted with a special touch just for me! The shop and all the other artists are super cool and sooo talented! I even got a follow up call to make sure my tattoo healed up and I was happy with it! The left is what I asked for and the right is what I got. The artist Chris Carver didnt want to stencil it he wanted to hand draw it. Whenever I talked to him how I was not satisfied with the work he acted as if there was nothing he could do and that it was my fault. When I mentioned to him I wanted more on the bottom he said HE was going for an S shape and wouldnt add more. He also told me due to my body composition it is the reason my tattoo looks totally different. 4 of us went in and got work done and the other 3 artist were great. I am not unhappy with the shop just what I ended up with from Carver.

Frankie is my absolute favorite artist in the Houston area! He has done multiple piercings for me and each experience was smooth and quick! He makes you feel extremely comfortable and talks you through what hes doing! Very professional and super clean environment! 10/10 experience! Cant wait to get more!

Walked in to Skin Stories on a whim to get my eyebrow re-pierced because I had been regretting for years letting it close up. Frankie took care of me and did a fantastic job. Had a great experience getting my 17 year old daughters septum peirced for her birthday. We had a little trouble with the accurate documentation but the manager put me in touch with the owner (who answered his phone immediately) who gave me the green light that the docs that we had would suffice! Went in to get my (minor) daughters ears double pierced. Frankie did a great job letting her know what was going to happen and also evening out the piercings with her first holes that were pierced at the mall with a piercing gun and VERY uneven. He was also able to quickly re-pierce her daith piercing that fell out a year+ ago. Highly recommend!

Absolutely the best experience! Took our little girl in to get her ears pierced and she was so excited and ready until the first ear was done. Then not so thrilled. Frankie talked to her and was just so patient with her until she was ready for the second. I don’t have the kind of patients he showed with her and I know most people wouldn’t. We even went back shortly after so she could watch me get my second and third holes in my ears! Awesome place. Awesome guy!

I have been to this tattoo shop multiple times, every tat I have I got from skin stories. I love their work I love their people. I wanna give a huge thanks and shout out to Javier who did my last two recent tats and they are amazing!! Getting tatted by someone different can be scary but Javier did that work and I am super proud to have his work done on me. Definitely will continue to go back and see Javier!

Called an hour in advance for a simple ring tattoo, was told to come in its first come first serve, which is expected. Called again once we get there and see there is a wait and get told to still come in about 2 hours before closing. Once we got in, nobody came up to us they just all sat in their chairs asking what we wanted and again we told them simple ring tattoos, all of them started asking what time it was and saying that they were done for the night. Definitely not the place to go if you want to get a spontaneous tattoo. The way they acted on the phone and through the door was pretty rude.

Jess did An amazing job on my tattoo, and at a great price! I requested a personalized version of a Harry potter and Zelda mix. Not only did she do a really good job, but she was really sweet and enjoyable to talk to. Definitely going to keep her as regular artist, and my friend is getting his sleeve (much more complex) done some time soon by her as well. Ill update with pictures when i have it.

I got pierced by Frankie. First of all let me just say how unprofessional he is when it comes to women, he made me and my friends feel extremely uncomfortable the entire time and he also fat shamed me when I am 5’7 and 140lbs. The piercing would not heal and it’s been a good year now, I still have problems to this day and I feel all of this was not worth an off-centered belly button piercing.

Had my very first tattoo done by Doc Carver and I love it!! Everyone was so nice, professional and down to earth. He was very creative but made sure to ask me before he did anything.
