Got my ears repierced here. Roger was wonderful! He kept me laughing the whole time and was very professional and clean. Very reasonable prices as well. Shop is clean and inviting. This is hands down the only place you should get your piercings done!

Don’t let Roger do anything besides face piercings. Instead of telling me I have the wrong anatomy for a belly piercing, he went ahead and gave me a surface piercing WITHOUT TELLING ME and put in WAYYY too short of a bar. He had put in the standard length of an eyebrow ring for my healing /surface/ piercing. I was leaving for vacation so I went back in to get his help because it was sinking in already 2 days after I got it done. He told me it was healing perfectly. Went to another shop of course and they agreed it was sinking and replaced it to a longer bar for me. The other shop only charged me $10 total because they have had multiple others come in with the same problem from Roger. And again, initially I was under the impression I was getting a normal belly button piercing, he said I had the right anatomy for it. But he instead gave me a surface piercing which always inevitably rejects, and mine did. Have had multiple customers at my work complain of the same problem with him. Stick to facial piercings.Also weirdly conservative and alt right attitude for a guy who’s in the industry he is.

I am not new to tattoos, I just wanted a small piece done to celebrate a family game that we have played for years. Jesse did a great job! He is personable and easy to work with. Would recommend the shop for sure!

Clean and professional! I got lucky and snagged a spot where someone had canceled. I told them my budget and ideas, and we worked it out seamlessly. Nick did my work and would highly recommend him. Its always a good experience here. Two photos of fresh work and quarter sleeve healed 2 years.

I got my ears pierced. I was nervous going but everyone made me feel comfortable. The gentleman that did my ears talked tO me the whole time so I was distracted. I would definitely go back.

I got my first tattoo as a semi-colon and I was charged $80. I dont like how they dont tell you the prices before hand and the tattoo only took 10 minutes. That is an outrageous price for almost an 1 1/2 tattoo. I give it a 4 because she did a good job but that price is crazy.

Best Tattoo Shop in Central IL. Amazing Artist, great atmosphere, and CLEAN.

My friend and I went here and got our noses pierced together. We both had a good experience. Roger did our piercings. He was very quick with the service, informative about after care, and communicated well. He helped us to feel more relaxed when we were anxious by providing some distraction through conversation, along with being encouraging throughout the process. I also appreciated that they had the after care spray for us there to buy.

I couldnt recommend Newage more highly! The shop is large, clean, light and cool inside. The booking process is smooth and they have a dedicated team member who helps coordinate you with an artist, pick a portfolio you like and make an appointment. I worked with Devan and she was the epitome of both talented and professional. She has a great mood and energy and is enthusiastic, patient and willing to work with you/consider all your ideas whether its the beginning of a shift or after the end of a long session. She helped me start a sleeve and was a great conversationalist and really QUITE skilled. She had a gentle, steady hand and really a good vision. Ill absolutely be going back to her for more art and am thankful I chose to work with her. Thanks for everything!

Had my nipples pierced the other day here. Roger was very clinical with a good sense of humor while doing it and gave me all the info needed for caring for my new piercing. Id recommend this place for anyone getting their first piercing.

I came in without an appointment to discuss a tattoo and piercings. The woman at the front (I unfortunately can not remember her name) was incredibly helpful and very friendly. She helped me get the tattoo appointment scheduled and then I went to the back to meet with Roger to answer my questions about the piercings. Roger greeted me in such a friendly, welcoming way. Made me feel like part of the family. He took the time to answer all my questions and was phenomenal during the piercings. He was beyond professional but also very laid back and made me feel relaxed during the whole process and explained after care very well. Amazing. Would recommend Roger to anyone and everyone!

I have never had a bad experience here. Roger has been piercing me for 20 years now and three out of four of my tattoos are from Newage. They are talented and have great bedside manner.

Loved Roger! Got my Septum done there 2-3 months ago. He was so knowledgeable, professional, but still chill, and a genuine dude. Let me know my septum was deviated, and pierced it so it would look best on my nose. Sitting here thinking I need a new piercing and think I’m gonna give him free range on my ears! 100% recommend.

I cannot give this shop as many stars as I’d like- 100. Always a great experience. Clean, professional, they may also turn me into a metal fan with their shop music. They take personal privacy seriously, including when working near intimate regions with curtains, frosted door in the piercing room.

Newage Tattoos is extremely clean. Staff are very helpful with answering my questions since it was my first time getting a tattoo. I decided to work with Faith after reviewing artists’ portfolio. I’m glad I listened to her suggestions. My tattoo turned out better than expected.

I walked in and was greeted within seconds by Roger. I did not have an appointment. He took my ID, had me fill out the paperwork, and took me back to his piercing room. Roger was very friendly, funny, and personable. He was quick but definitely wasn’t rushing anything. He pierced my nose, explained the aftercare and handed me a paper with care instructions as well. I was very nervous to get my nose pierced and I’m glad I went to Roger. Would definitely recommend him for anyone wanting to get their nose pierced!

All the artists are extremely welcoming and friendly. They by far do the best work in town. They love to take the time to make sure you are getting exactly want you want and that your tattoos are the best quality and most hygienic available. They are always looking to improve the industry.

I went and got my first nose piercing done at this shop, it was done by Roger, then about a week later went in because I thought I did something to my piercing and he walked me though cleaning steps again and did an inspection to make sure it was good and everything. He was very nice and professional and he also likes to joke with you to put you at ease. I would HIGHLY recommend getting any piercings done here! 💙

I had my first long appointment tattoo done here about a month ago by Jason. Lets just say that I didnt tolerate it as gracefully as I hoped I would. Jason and his team did absolutely everything to help me get comfortable enough to finish my breathtaking, beautiful piece. Nice people only thing I didn’t like was when I got my nipples pierced he had me lay down to pierce them. I was told by a friend who pierced in another state that you should never have them pierced laying go down they’ll be lopsided. Which they were. I had to take them out cause the doctor said my body was rejecting the piercing but otherwise he’s super nice made me feel comfortable. Clean organized shop is a bonus.

I recently got a piercing done by Roger at New Age and it was great! It was very clean and comfortable. Roger was so friendly and professional. He was very thorough in his explanation prior, during, and after about what he was doing and why. He also talked me through a painful piercing! I would give 10 stars if I could!

My sister and I got twin tattoos on our feet. It was my first time so I was a bit nervous. Jason offered me a donut, comfort and reassurance. He remained calm and nice even when I started screaming bloody murder. It was a great experience!! Everyone was so kind. Great place and I highly recommend it.

Just went here and got a helix piercing. Roger was a WONDERFUL piercer and the whole environment was great. Masks are required and everyone we saw was wearing one and socially distancing as much as possible!! Would definitely come back here again.

I got my septum pierced here by Roger. After a full week the sharp pain hadn’t gone away, and that’s when I realized it was pierced wrong. The left side was completely in my cartilage, not in the “sweet spot” where it is supposed to be. I do not understand how someone with 20 years of piercing experience can mess up in such a sloppy way. I asked for a refund, but I was rudely denied. I would give this place a zero if I could. do NOT come here.

No tatoos from these guys, but roger gave me my very 1st piercing, back when new age was next door to penny lane !😍Hes the only 1 I pay to get stabbed by! 🤣

I had Nick do a flower on my arm. Beautiful work and very considerate. Offered me water and a soda when I was feeling nauseous. Everyone that worked there was super friendly and joking around with each other and the customers. Definitely going back for the rest of my sleeve!

I got a medusa done and the piercer opened everything in front of me. Was a cool guy to joke with but still remained professional as a piercer. When the needle and jewelry got snagged(not the piercers fault, the needle and hollow tube didnt fit like they were supposed to) he was gentle and talked to me to make sure i was doing ok. . overall would definitly go back for another piercing.

I came here to watch my wife get her nose pierced. The guy that pierce her nose seemed a little off. He kept talking about the government and how anti-government he is. It made us feel rather uncomfortable, but with that aside, he did do a good job with the piercing.

Got it done by Roger, he was very funny and great to joke with. Stung a bit when he put the needle in but pain went away. I recommend going here.

I got my first pericing done by Roger and that was my belly button and I was super scared but he talked to me and distract me and walked me through everything and it only felt like a little pinch I will definitely be going back if I want another pericing

1 star. They refused to pierce me because i am 14 and me and my mother do not have the same last name. They requested my birth certificate and a bunch of other information that was not required. I won’t be going back thank you for your time. The piercer they have in there talks too much anyways.
