Nuclear Crayon Tattoo & Piercing

Had an appointment today with Kyrena and it was honestly one of the best experiences i’ve had being tattooed. Super easy appointment scheduling, clean shop and workspace with so many references of her work displayed, minimal discomfort throughout the tattoo and over all great vibes! Would recommend to friends, and will definitely be back again soon!

Went for my first professional tattoo and the experience was great. The ladies in the shop were extremely accommodating and super sweet space was really clean as well. Definitely recommend!!love that it’s an all female business

Got my snakebites and they put the smallest bars possible and it was $60 for just the jewelry!! It literally became completely embedded in my lip after one day… Went to needle therapy in ware and they replaced both bars with longer ones for a good price!

Overpriced for no reason. Piercer had attitude. She pierced my rook and after going back to get it changed she questioned if she did the piercing bc of the poor quality. So many better places, save your money!

I get all my piercings from Becky. She is so sweet and talks you through the whole process. She takes her time and makes sure you are comfortable.I get my tattoos done by tiara, she is fantastic! Her details and line work is amazing. I get compliments all the time.This place is very clean and the environment is welcoming. I recommend this place to everyone!

Got my lobes pierced and it was a beautiful experience. Very queer friendly and my entire two lobe piercings with jewelry and aftercare spare ended up being 90 bucks in total! Prices vary though due to jewelry chosen!Definitely going to come back, it was an amazing experience and I definitely want to get a tattoo and more piercings there!

I had the pleasure of meeting KY she did an amazing job on a last-minute tattoo for my 40th birthday. They are appointment only which means not too many people in and out and a nice and quiet place makes you feel comfortable. I will definitely be back soon.

I followed Tiara and Becky from their last place of business. I will never ever go anywhere else. They are the best and only hire the best. Everyone in that shop is extremely talented and amazing humans. Tiara made me feel comfortable from the moment I met her.

Such a laid back & awesome atmosphere! Everyone is wicked talented, helpful, & friendly. Ive gotten a piercing & all of my tattoos done here specifically. I have absolutely no complaints at all. I travel about an hour from home when I make appointments & I never regret it :)

Highly recommend Becky for any and all of your piercing needs. She’s experienced and knowledgeable, keeps beautiful jewelry in the shop to choose from, and takes her time to make sure everything is perfect. Wouldn’t go anywhere else now that I’ve found her!

Piercer has a very wack attitude. No help or follow up about downsizing or jewelry changes even after I tried reaching out for help. Ended up getting help from a different shop completely. Super disappointed !

Becky made me feel very comfortable. She was very kind. I felt very comfortable and she was able to answer questions. She was very knowledgeable about what I needed to do for aftercare. I would highly recommend going to this studio for piercings and tattoos.

Worst tattoo on my body. I went to Tony for a floral piece on my forearm and left with overworked skin and a lot of scarring. This was intended to be a piece of healing for me and has only made me feel worse and uncomfortable in my own body. Very embarrassed that I choose to use this shop. Ive been to multiple artists and shops and have never had an experience this. I was literally stunned when they charged me for this at all after everything that seemed to go wrong. I let it heal before deciding to post and the more I look at it, the more unsettled it still makes me. This will definitely be one of those lessons that I tell my kids. Do your research....

Billy is an excellent tattooer and artist that is versatile in many styles. He’s got a big heart, is very passionate about tattooing and is an all around super cool fellow! If you leave his studio with a tattoo, you’ll leave happy! If you leave without one, you may be leaving with a broken heart. :) Aloha!

Most amazing tattoo coverup! I had an awful tattoo done over 10 years ago by a different shop in holyoke and finally went to see Billy to get it covered up! He took almost an hour with me before we started to make sure I would love the cover up. I can’t believe how amazing it turned out. He has done 4 previous tattoos on me and I will be back for more. Thank you again! I love it

Tattoo artist made me and my bf sit there for 45 minutes before he even acknowledged us then he is going to say he’s booked for the next few days. He could have said that as soon as we walked in, instead of letting us sit there for no reason wasting my time! Poor customer service will never go back.

Been going there for 6+ years, have gotten all 8 of my tattoos from Ralphy. He is the best and Id recommend him to anyone! Have also gotten most of my piercings from them..very clean place and friendly people!

Got to my appt, then they tell me the lady is running late cuz she has kids and things come up which I understand but I also have things to do and have kids myself. If I was late I would have lost my spot and my deposit. The lady I spoke to was rude and was like well oh well u can wait for Becky.

Ive been going to Nuclear for many years, Ralphy is my artist and Imust say he is absolutely incredible.Mark is a very respected as well as respectful guy as well, I have recommended several ppl to nuclear and they are so pleased with their tatts that they have many more.I did get a dermal and it was great, The girl doing it didnt seem to friendly/personable but shes focused, a year later my piercing rejected,which can happen to the best of us.The place is and always appears clean,the autoclaves are visible, and the overall atmosphere is very relaxing, I felt like I was a part of the nuclear family.In closing I will say, I am not related to nor personally connected to anyone in the shop, this is my genuine experience.

Since im too young to have a tattoo, i didnt get one but i watched my sister give one and it came out amazing. Its clean, they have fish there to distract the kids, and they play amazing music! 10/10 would recommend this place!

This is my review of Nuclear Crayon. When I arrived I was greeted by some friendly people. I went there because I heard this is the best tattoo shop in Springfield MA and my girlfriend was begging me to take her somewhere to get her nose pierced. We called around on pricing and Nuclear Crayon has the lowest prices on piercings in Springfield as well. One other reason is they use nickel free metal for there piercing (she has an allergy)and no where else I called does nickel-free piercing without paying a premium. Anyways, we went in and got served immediately. The nose piercing came out great and was only $25.00. While she was getting pierced I talked to the tattoo artist about my idea for a new tattoo and he is drawing it up for me. I cant wait to get it done next week. I would recommend Nuclear Crayon to anyone!!!

All I got to say is that nuclear crayon is sooo lucky to have this amazing artist. I respect all artists at this location but TIARA is my favorite !!! I love her!! She’s sooo good her work is so clean. I would follow her to the moon if I have to! Can’t wait till Friday to get more ink! I showed my coworkers her work and now a lot of them are scheduling with her. People you won’t regret it ! I’m telling u !

Went with a friend who got a double nostril piercing. The piercer didn’t use a backer and ended up stabbing him in the lip in two places.

I didn’t have enough knowledge about piercings at the time, therefore they took advantage of my naivety. I got my “navel” pierced here last year and I’m now realizing that it was not pierced correctly. It is actually technically a surface piercing because the bottom ball sits above my belly button instead of resting inside which is also why it still causes me pain, is very red, and has a bump on it. Since surface piercings have much higher risk of migration/rejection. Now I am stuck with hideous scarring.

Came out great. Very quick, easy, and professional.They are appointment only and you have to call to be let in which is a nice peace of mind during the pandemic.

This place is horrible. Me and my fiancé went to get a tattoo for my birthday of our babys name and now our skin is ruined. I am totally devastated and cant stop crying. It was supposed to be a surprise. She is our rainbow baby. This is horrible and this place should be shut down!!!!!

I can honestly say I just got a tattoo from nuclear crayon cris the tattoo artist there is amazing did amazing work covering up an old piece of crap tattoo that was on my hand and turning it into an amazing piece of body art that im proud to show off!! I also looked at all the artists porfolios you would be lucky to get a tattoo from any of these guys and they are all awesome down to earth artists.....thank you nuclear crayon!!!

The worst place and very unprofessional they did no paper work for my 13 year old and her nose is swelling and they were rude and nasty i can assure you my lawyer will be calling this nasty place,WORST PLACE EVER DONT EVEN GO THERE HORRIBLE!!
