You know, I have been coming here for the past 2 years for my piercings and all I can say is, they are for sure the best piercers I’ve met. Each and every worker has a friendly and welcoming attitude and when you get your piercing they make you feel very comfortable and at ease while getting it. On top of that their deals are top notch the best deals and you’ll get a bang for ya buck for sure. Then the rooms…ughhh the rooms are literally so cute and the whole the of the shop is PERFECT!!!!! If your thinking about getting a piercing and your shy at first then just come here and trust me they got you because it’s just a poke🫶🏾

I went there for the first time, and I definitely will go back again. The environment there was so relaxing and casual, all while being professional when it came to the services. I recently got my nose pierced here on 9/14/2024 and it was a great experience. The piercer gave me great advice for taking care of my piercing and was very gentle and fast. It was a great experience here and i appreciated all the good information I was giving. And its very nice environment and all the staff was amazing aswell.

Everyone is great. My piercing was so well executed that didn’t experience pain. The whole vibe is cool. All the decorated rooms are so fun and cute. 10 out of 10 I would recommend this place.

I have been to this piercing shop multiple times, and plan on coming back for all of my piercing needs from now on. It is easy to find and really cute inside and out. The shop is well decorated and perfect for selfies with you new bling, and extremely clean. The customer service was amazing, and the piercers are all kind and very knowledgeable. I got my vertical helix piercing done by Gabi and it is by far my favorite piercing ever. They have a huge selection in jewelry and you can honestly spend hours trying to narrow down your choices. I also loved that they are kid friendly, they have the cutest waiting area with games and toys and they also have a vending machine in case you need a little snack while you wait. Be sure to also follow their social media page for any questions you might have and to get in on their sales and deals.

No hate to this place but I suggest not coming here. They sold me cheap jewelry it might as well be fake. My piercing rejected and the women who pierced my belly button had to do it twice because she missed the first time. I just got it changed out by another piercing shop and they said the piercing I had in was an “inappropriate” one and shouldn’t have been used due to it’s curve and let me not forget the important part my piercing faded lmao it was a cloudy gray it was so ugly I had to change it. Please do better. Again no hate just thought I’d be honest and help other people out.

I have never felt so comfortable and welcome while getting a piercing and I have quite a few. Not only do they have amazing customer service they also have the coolest piercing rooms!!! No other tattoo or piercing shops have themed rooms around the valley to the Bay Area like ITS A POKE ! I got my septum here as well as my Medusa ! I will be returning soon for my future piercings !

Ive been wanting to get my septum pierced for the longest.. finally decided to go for their Friday the 13th special I love love so much! The piercer (Vee) I believe thats her name was so nice and explained every step. The shop was the cutest! I will definitely be back for more piercings

My little sister & I came here on a random Sunday afternoon. The girls were all so nice & friendly as soon as we walked in. They answered all of our questions and showed us the jewelry. Overall, the place was cool and the service was nice. I went and got my nose pierced. I was told after three weeks to switch the nose ring out because the one that was in my nose was long ,only because I was gonna have some swelling. Well, the three weeks has arrived, and I went to body jewelz in modesto to buy me a nose ring. They offered to switch it out, and while they were switching it out, they noticed I was pierced with a lip piercing and noticed I was keloiding in the inside of my nose, which I thought was only swelling to me this entire time. They ended up showing me the difference between what WAS in my nose to what is in my nose now. I was shocked tbh, and I remember my friend that went with me at the time asked which ones were for the nose and they told us any of them will work.

I previously had my nose pierced years ago, but one of my best friends mentioned going to It’s just a poke’s shop for piercings and said how great their deals were. I decided to get it re-pierced. We went on a promo day and everything was super simple, we were instructed to wait in our cars due to so many people being in the shop, got a call, chose our jewelry, got pierced, and went on our way. Getting pierced was super simple, everything was clean, everyone in the shop was super cool and explained aftercare. I would definitely come back for another piercing or just to come to buy more jewelry. My healing process has been super good, I have no complaints. The shop is super cute and each room is a different theme. Good for pics and just good vibes overall!

Atmosphere is very positive and all the ladies are super nice. I got three nose piercings from them last year and got one of them repierced this year about a month or two ago. Very friendly and good prices I went on the day they had buy one get one free for titanium. They have a lot to choose from from jewelry to other stuff like rolling trays.

Ive been following Sin since she had her shop in Oakland before the pandemic. My sisters and I drive up all the way from Hayward to get pierced. Their prices are great, the jewelry selection is extensive, and the ladies are super nice and helpful!I even talked my mom into getting her first unconventional piercing from here and now shes planning to go back and get matching belly piercings with my sister. Sin was super patient as she decided what she wanted and Star talked and soothed her through the whole process. We keep coming back and recommending people to comeTLDR; you need to come get pierced here! Cant recommend them enough!

I got a cluster on my upper cartilage and it looks sooo good. I got pierced by Sin and she was so nice and explained what she was doing while piercing me. It honestly didn’t hurt as much as I expected and it was quick and I’m supper happy. I got pierced on Dec 21st and my ear has not swollen at all!! Such amazing work.

I just recently got my lobes pierced and I love them, the girls are very attentive and kind. They always make me feel comfortable during the whole process of getting the piercing. I actually found out about this business purely by accident a month or so ago. I love photography and photographing places around Stockton especially. I stumbled upon Just A Poke because of its eye catching pink exterior. It wasn’t until after I asked around on instagram that I found out they do piercings. I went in the other day for a Christmas time special they were having and got my daith pierced. The staff treat you like family and are all really cool and welcoming. Thank you guys again!!

I loved my experience here!! I came in with my mom on St. Patrick’s day, and I’ll definitely be back. Everything is very clearly well thought out, we were amazed by the designs of the rooms and the variety of jewelry to choose from. My mom got her rook, and her 3rd lobe, and our piercer did a great job of making her comfortable. I recently started going to this piercing shop starting last December and have since come in every few weeks or so. The vibes are great, piercers are amazing and extremely knowledgeable. There is a huge range of jewelry to choose from. I have brought both my sisters, sister-in-law, and best friend here since I’ve discovered it. They’ve all agreed it’s a great shop and want to go back. We are already planning our next visit. I can’t recommend it enough! I also LOVE that it’s a women run shop because you don’t see that too often these days so I had to come support!

I had a great experience at It’s just a poke, I’ve had many piercings done before from other places. I got my conch piercing done at it’s just a poke and it has been the best it healed perfectly, didn’t have any problems with this piercing like I have had with other ones I’ve gotten at other shops. I highly recommend you go to it’s just a poke to get pierced! They are super friendly and professional I really loved the environment and the people are great there. I will for sure be going soon to get another piercing there. It’s super affordable too and a great shop! It’s my number one shop to go get piercings now I will for sure be going all the way over there from Nevada just to get another piercing.

Went to this place to get my second piercing on my lobes and it was such a lovely experience. They offer great deals when they’re able to if you’re not able to afford normal prices. Not only such great deals but give back to their customers which is not very common for any other piercing places. Their shop is so cute filled with different themed rooms and offer such a wide selection of jewelry if you don’t want the basics. My piercer was the sweetest and made me feel super comfortable. You leave knowing you would/could come back there for future piercings!

Hey guyssss 👋🏻 Today I decided to get my first ever piercing from its just a poke and my piercer was sin, she did absolutely amazing for my first time and mind you this past month I’ve went like almost everyday for smoking accessories plus I always recommend people to go to her shop no matter if its for a piercing or just the accessories she has to offer. I was super nervous because it was my first time but she made me feel comfortable and safe, she even said I can squeeze her and I sure did because I was terrified but it turned out great. Sin and all the piercers are just amazing people, they take care of each and every customer with the same respect the customer gives them. My experience was 20/10 and if I decide on any more piercings I would definitely go to them. Merry Christmas everybody and have a safe New Years 💗 also I had the yellow room and it was super cute, the only thing I regret is not recording because I was super scared but if you go make sure to record your experience so you can laugh after if you’re dramatic like me 😂 almost going to be a year with this piercing, I love it

After having single lobe piercings for years I realized I wanted to style my ears back in September of 2022. I have gone to this shop on different occasions. The first time I went I got my nose pierced and a 2nd lobe. During my second visit I got 2 helix’s and my third lobe. During my most recent visit I got my navel and 4th lobe. 5/5 service!! This was my first time at “it’s just a poke” I’ve been looking at piercings places for over a year now to get my smiley done. Since I Grew up in the bay I’ve had all my piercings there and just loved my piercer. I was worried to get a bad experience here in Stockton but I had come across their Instagram one day because my friends where posting them on their Instagram story since they were offering $13 piercings on Friday the 13. Since it was a lot of my friends I figured I’d give it a shot and go to them. ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT!! I even convinced my fiancé to go with me and he got it done as well. All the staff were very friendly and welcoming and the piercer “as seen in the picture” was amazing. Definitely went back already and will continue too.

The piercer was incredibly unprofessional and did not know what she was doing. She had a mentor come in several times to make sure the placement was right and several times she was told she was doing it wrong. The same girl ended up piercing my ears and i was left with diagonal infected piercings in my cartilage

So many amazing things about this shop this is such a must have place to go to if you need a piercings or jewelry for piercings!! 100/100 for sure the costumer service was amazing these ladies are the sweetest people I have ever met ! Been going to a few places to see how I like each of them, and justapoke seems to be the best out of all of them. very good prices and lots of cute jewelry, only difference is that it does take a while to get pierced. the only problem for me is that its a bit far but that still doesnt stop me from getting new piercings.

Pierced by Mimi at the shop today (6/15/22) and she was so sweet and wanted to get the placement perfect.From the moment you walk in the door, you’re personally greeted and welcomed in. Filled out a quick sheet to acknowledge general info, picked out the jewelry I wanted, and they were ready as soon as I was. It’s very cute and girly inside and each room has its own color scheme. The piercing was quick and Mimi was very gentle. I had very minimal pain. They give clear instructions along with personal anecdotes on aftercare.I will absolutely be returning, as I appreciate how friendly and inviting the atmosphere was, unlike a lot of other places. The shop owner made this place very unique, as I’ve only had previous not-as-welcoming experiences with piercing places.

I love love love it’s just a poke. They are very professional and welcoming when you walk in and I have gotten my last 8 piercings from them including my both nostrils as well. All of my piercings have healed perfectly. The piercers always make sure that you are comfortable throughout the process and are very quick when piercing to make it as painless as possible. I am working on my ears so I have been pierced here 6 times and everytime I am more than happy with the results. I live about 45-1 hour away and I drive to them all the time because of how much I am satisfied each time. Everyone is very professional, friendy and helpful. This is my favorite piercing shop to go to. The girls are very friendly and know their stuff about piercings. They make you feel very comfortable. I got my sideburn done by Sintia, tragus by chucky, and my anti tragus by a star. These were the least painful piercings I have ever received. I recommend them and they always have good sales go check them out on their instagram!

My First Experience there was great the ladies are so welcoming when you first walk in and let me tell you the little waiting area with the pink flower tree is so cute I just love the whole store setup and the rooms our all a different theme which is pretty cool but the best part is the jewelry selection they have so much to choose from dont miss out and go stop on by you will not regret it .. I got both sides of my nose pierced and my ear. My experience was great. They were able to help me with picking my jewelry because I had specific wants. Their jewelry selection is very big and diverse. They walked me through the whole piercing process, told me what they were doing, and told me when to breathe in and out. I’ve gotten 3 piercings here all within the last year and I can confirm this is the best piercing place I’ve ever been! They did my belly button and previously I’ve been turned away from another business because of my anatomy so I assumed it would be the same here but nope they did it and it healed amazingly! Yaya is the reason I keep coming back. She’s done 2/3 of my piercings and she knows what she’s doing! When my nose ring came out after three years only because of horse playing with my sister I looked up the nearest piercing shop close to me that was open at the time. I seen just a poke was closer to me so I decided to go. Found a earring within my budget, had them put it in and after 4 1/2, hours it came out, I was doing anything when it came out, I simply went to the bathroom heard something drop looked down and it was my freaking earring that I just had put in. It was New Year’s Eve when they put it in, so I didn’t want to bother them after hours with work issues! So I waited til after the holidays to contact them. So now I must pay a service fee again after three days of service when clearly the woman to put it in did make sure it was fully secured. I never had this happen, nose earring has been in for three years with no problem, no matter what. This shop is beautiful, my congrats on these young ladies business, but will not be returning for any again for any services with this experience.

I got two piercings done on my nose and they did really good with it asked it I liked the placement and if I was ok when receiving the piercing.

Me and sister got our tongues pierced and both of us bit our piercing pretty bad. I bit mine the first day and I texted the shop to get some help and they got back to me as soon as they could and I was so happy they were so helpful, then my sister bit her piercing pretty bad about 2 weeks after getting it and the whole one side of the bar went into her tongue she was flipping out and we contacted them after hours and it’s rare to find a shop that really cares about there clients they got back to us with helpful info to help my little sister and now both our piercings are doing great even after our little accidents. I went for the first time today and got my flat pierced. I loved all the options they had, but I settled with a titanium heart earring that I absolutely fell in love with. The wait was a bit long but it was definitely worth it as it’s Christmas and it was super busy, so I really didn’t mind. There were plenty of cute items to look at around the store during your time there and I ended up buying a few necklaces as well. The rooms seem to all have different themes and I was sent to the green room, which had a very cute jungle vibe to it, the decorations were on point, and it was very welcoming. All in all I loved the experience I had while waiting, getting my ears pierced, and talking to my piercer and I will definitely come back again when I’m ready for another :)

I visited this shop to get a few new piercings as an early gift to myself. I came in the late afternoon on a good sale day, so it was a little busy, as expected. Seriously some of the kindest and down to Earth badass women. I came in for one piercing two weeks ago and LITERALLY came back the next day for another. It didn’t hurt and Yaya went over every step with me as she pierced me. I haven’t had any issues with my piercings. They always have really good sales and want nothing but the best for their customers. They have a really good selection of titanium styles for piercings. And titanium is one of the best metals you can put in your ear since it’s hypoallergenic. I’m looking forward to coming back for another piercing.

I had a dermal piercing on my face before. I missed it so I went to get it done at it’s just a poke 2/25/23 and it was wonderful. Everyone was super nice. They even had a small table for kids to play while they wait. My kids didn’t want to leave they had so much fun playing. My piercer was super nice and made me feel comfortable. I took my mom to get her industrial bar done by it’s just a poke. She loved the fact that it was smooth and painless when they pierced her. She has a full ear done and she said “ I have never gotten a piercing done like this” in a happy good way. She is so happy with her piercing. The healing process has been so easy because they told her how to really clean it and all the information about how she should try to keep her hair up away from the piercing so that nothing happen to make it get irritated and all the other care information. First of this spot is SUPER CUTE and clean. You can spot the pink gates as soon as you turn the corner and although the atmosphere can get busy because of the inflow of clients, the ladies take their time to make sure they follow all sanitation procedures. The owner is super sweet and was able to help feel welcomed and had unique jewelry pieces I had never seen before. Moneys was able to pierce me and she made me feel safe and constantly checked in to make sure I was okay throughout the process. I went to get my snake eyes tongue piercing and my daith done with my friend about two weeks ago and I loved the customer service, the piercing was painless for me and quick, my piercer was so sweet and understanding when it came time to pierce my friend lol. Definitely my new hidden jem for piercings now!

This is my absolute favorite shop to get my piercings from the staff is absolutely amazing I always have the greatest experience when I go to the shop. I go so often the staff knows me😂. And ofc the deals at this shop are too incredible I’d definitely would recommend this place 10/10❤️

First time getting a piercing my experience was amazing from the staff being very friendly, organized and very professional felt like if I knew them for a years. made the process of my piercing smooth and painless, I would definitely recommend this piercing shop to everybody.

I went to get my eyebrow pierced & i was really really nervous. My piercer was Sintia and she made me feel comfortable, made sure i was okay throughout the whole thing. It healed beautifully. I eventually went back to down size (again nervous) and piercer Yaya was just as nice🫶🏻. I have also been pierced by Vee 🫶🏻I love their vibe! And the shop’s, hands down THE most beautiful shop I’ve seen. AND when i saw they had a good titanium sale i went back for another piercing 🤭 I don’t see myself going anywhere else. Especially with their jewelry selection 🤭

I have gotten pierced by Money aka Marissa on four different occasions (nose, helix, smiley and lobes) and hands down I love her! She is always very attentive and always makes sure you are comfortable. I tend to not check how it looks afterwards because I trust her and know she got me looking good. She will make sure your piercing experience is great just like the other ladies. My friend got pierced by Bree and she was great as well and talks you through the process. Over all the vibes and everyone that works at the shop are amazing you always get a good laugh and good conversation. Everyone is very knowledgeable (in other words they don’t just pierce you just to pierce you they make sure your anatomy is a good fit for the piercing of choice) and friendly. The shop is super pink and colorful each room is different and I love it especially the bathroom. The jewelry selection is super cute also. Lastly they ALWAYS and I mean ALWAYS have good sales everyday and that is what keeps me being loyal and coming back all the way from Antioch. Sorry about the long review I wanted to make sure I touched base on everything 😂

As a heavily pierced gal, this shop has made me feel super comfortable and confident in the quality of their work. I got my Medusa done by Layla (I believe). She was super quick too! Theyre the only shop Ive been to where the options for jewelry are endless. Love this shop so much!

So so happy!! I got two ear piercings done today by Sintia herself and they were perfect! She made the experience pleasant and was very very sweet. She verbally guided me through the process to distract me from any pain. Definitely coming back for more since I’m addicted now😅

One of the best and fastest piercing shop I’ve been to. I been supporting her since she was in the bay and going to keep on supporting her and her team all the way. I remember going with sintia to get my nipple piercings I was so nervous to get them but she did it so fast and it’s was painless. I got my industrial from one of her girls and more to come. I have gotten my forward helix done here and 3 flats. They came out awesome and the ladys that have done them were amazing at their job. Star I believe thats her name, the pregnant one, she made sure to tell me about treating my ears. Glad she did because the one on my left side was starting to hurt and then I remembered she said how important it was to put the aftercare spray. Listen when they tell you because its no joke. After I sprayed it for 2 whole days 3 times each my ear got better. They are experts for a reason. Definitely go here they are awesome with amazing vibes.🤗

Came in from sf to get my nose pierced for thanksgiving break and i’m in love!! not only was the service amazing but i absolutely love the placement!! i forgot my piercers name but she made sure i was comfortable throughout the entire experience which i appreciate so much!! 10/10 recommend, & they always have sales going on so if y’all want good quality piercings at a good price, definitely go to it’s a poke shop!!

I remember going to the itsjustapoke shop in Stockton, sometime last year and already I felt so overjoyed because of how colorful it was from the outside, but as I walked in it was pictured even better. From the different items being sold, to the cleanliness of the shop, and the best part THE DIFFERENT COLOR/THEMED rooms😍😍😍. I went in during a time they were having a sale and got my forward helix and rook pierced and honestly that was the quickest and easiest piercings i’ve had ever gotten. And i’ve had a lot of different piercings done…During the time of me getting pierced I had one of my friends come alongside with me, while I was getting my forward helix pierced my friend ended up falling over and passing out for like 2 seconds due to her seeing the blood of my ear. However, the owner and the rest of the employees were quick to see what had happened and what was going on that they catered to her IMMEDIATELY by asking her questions, giving her water, trying to cool her down, etc. all whilst still making sure I am okay! ❤️ All the workers in there have such positive vibes and great energy and this is definitely somewhere you’d want to get pierced at !!🥰✨

A couple years ago, I had my belly/navel pierced but the piercer did it wrong. I ended up taking it out which resulted to it closing up. I was really hesitant to get it redone but my sister told me about It’s Just a Poke. So I went and got it repierced there. I can confirm that this is my sister and I’s new favorite Piercing Shop! They’re seriously amazing. The environment is very welcoming and comfortable. I can tell they really care about the customers. To the wonderful people working at It’s Just a Poke, expect me coming back to get my nose, nips, and ears pierced! ;)

Went in back in august for my conch and helix, process was smooth and easy! They walk you through everything and make sure you’re at ease. I loveeee how the shop has different themed rooms, it’s very unique. They have plenty and multiple choices of jewelry to choose from and always have a sale for the day, you definitely don’t want to miss their sales!! Highly recommend you follow them on IG for sale updates! All the staff are extremely professional and nice, overall would give them more than 5 stars if I could! 😇

I’ve been coming to Sin since she was in Oakland and she is the best piercer I’ve ever gotten pierced by. She makes sure to take proper care of her clients throughout the entire piercing process and aftercare. I love that she’s very responsive through DMs and text messaging. She answers every question and concern I have. Her team is great and super friendly. Chucky helped me recently with payments, setting up my piercing, and she did an amazing job welcoming me and making me feel comfortable.

My experience at this piercing shop was 10/10. I was indecisive about what jewelry I wanted for my nose piercing but the ladies were helpful and ask what I liked better and what I was looking for. They helped me compare the size of the jewelry for my nose. Then when I actually got my piercing the piercer washed her hands and sanitized everything. I was soooo nervous but the piercer talked me through everything that she was doing which made me feel better. I now love my nose piercing I got and can’t wait to get more piercings.

This is hands down one of my favorite piecing shops. They do have higher prices than other shops, but I promise it is worth every penny. The girls do a phenomenal job, and they will not let you leave the shop if they do not like how a piercing turned out. Which is not common, I can tell you horror stories of other shops but not a single bad comment about this one. If you follow their social media, they announce their sales and explain in detail what the sale of the day is. These girls are super friendly, and they know their piercing stuff. The shop itself is very clean and there are about 5 different piercing rooms that are very inviting. There are over 100 different types of jewelry to choose from. You can get the basic surgical steel for most piercings or upgrade to titanium or better. A second shop is opening soon so make sure you follow both of their pages!
