Great atmosphere with a bunch of skilled artists. love that Greg is still there. He is the man when I get work done, period!! really good price for such great detail. Ill be going back next week to finish up a piece He did for me today. Couldnt be more happy with it.

Got my 3rd tattoo done here on my 18th birthday the guy who did my tattoo was amazing. Considering I only go to one and I live out of state. Beautiful line work. Very comfortable place and very reassuring when needed. Would go here again when I’m in town

I have gotten my belly button, both cartilage, and my nostril piercing done here as well as two tattoos. I love Tall Tales. Everyone is so friendly, the shop is always clean, anytime I have gone in for a service I am always helped quickly. There is only one piercer and he is incredible at his job; I have had zero problems with any of my piercings. Both of my tattoos were done by Nik and he is an amazing artist as well as super friendly! I will happily be going back

I went here as a walk in on Friday the 13th. This was my first tattoo and I was nervous, but Nick was great. Embarrassingly, I totally vomited half way thru the tattoo, and we took a break to reset. Nick sanitized the whole area and was happy to finish the tattoo without making me feel awkward 😂 Thank you Nick, youre the best!

Very unfortunate experience with their piercing services. So I called the store to ask about getting a Christina piercing, and my first red flag should have been when the piercer responded to the question of if they do them with “uhhh I do everything.” The process itself was professional, however the bar used was both a straight barbell and too short. So naturally as the week progressed the piercing began rejecting and sinking into my skin. They were willing to change the improper jewelry out for free (which since I spent 100+ for the service in the first place felt just to me) only to give me a longer STRAIGHT barbell. To my understanding, and to the understanding of another piercer I consulted after this, that is the wrong kind of jewelry for the piercing, and as one would assume (after months of proper aftercare) the piercing simply could not heal. Left such a bad taste in my mouth for this establishment. I’m sure they do great work, but it is sad to see how ill prepared they were for a service they offer at a such a price point.

Ive received tattoos from 4 of the guys now and each one is amazing. Theyre all super friendly and welcoming each time I go in. The shop is always clean and organized. Ive gotten multiple piercings there as well. The service was sanitary and quick. Im very pleased with each of my experiences so far and will be back for more.

My friends and I went yesterday for Friday the 13th tattoos. Jesse and his wife were more than welcoming and friendly. Super helpful and didn’t get bothered by anyone asking questions. Nick did my friends tattoo and he was super nice and cool. Everyone there was dope and the shop has a great vibe to it. All the artists are amazing from what I saw and they do piercing there too. I think I’ve Found my new favorite shop in Stockton!

I took my daughter to this shop without an appointment. Jessie was able to fit my daughter and I into his schedule (are tattoos were small and simple). The price was fair and the experience was very professional. Will be returning to this parlor very soon for a larger piece. But this time I will make an appointment. Highly recommend that you set an appointment because we were lucky. In the small amount of time we were there the place was busy. Awesome experience!

Got my nose pierced for a great price and he was very quick. They were very nice. I will be back soon. PS they only accept cash, cash app and one other different payment type but no debit with no ATM inside. I had to go to the closest ATM.

I came in from out of town and my sister and I had this amazing idea to get a matching piece done together to symbolize our close bond. We came in and by the grace of God was able to schedule an appointment with Erick_Ramos. We shared our idea and the photo inspiration with him and he totally got it. Drafted it up super quick and then went to work on us. In just 3.5 hrs each he was able to make a vision beyond our reality! Saying he is well skilled and exceptionally talented is an understatement. His lines are crisp, shading amazing and definition spectacular! We love our largest pieces together and when I am back in town again, will be back to get another piece with him for sure! Highly recommended!

I’ve been to Jesse before when he was at a different shop. So of course I came back to him cuz he’s an amazing artist. He has his own shop now and it’s incredible! The guys are great, and super nice at the shop. Jesse started my sleeve yesterday and his ideas and artistry are by far the best anywhere around. If you want quality work, Jesse is the guy to go to. You will not be disappointed. Incredible. He’s done a portrait of my dog, and now he’s doing an entire ocean sleeve for me. Awesome work. Can’t wait to come back to finish the job!

Went in for a scheduled tattoo appointment and was so uncomfortable. While waiting for artist to finish drawing all of the artists and their friends were drinking and bringing in cases of beer one after the other. I would compare it to going into a bar on a Thursday or Friday night and getting a tattoo. It felt extremely unprofessional even for a tattoo shop. Not to mention I waited for 3 hours for a drawing and I had scheduled an appointment two weeks prior, was not a walk in.

Had such an AMAZING experience at this shop. The artist Jesse was great and super attentive to detail. He made it as gentle as a tattoo could possibly be. Overall great vibe in the shop and super clean! Will definitely be returning for some more work.

My mom and I wanted to get a memorial tattoo for my father who passed unexpectedly, we messaged tall tales on Instagram asking about an appointment and they responded right away and got us all set up. When we arrived at the shop they welcomed us right in and made us feel very comfortable in this difficult time. I got a recommendation through a customer at work and I’m so glad they told us about Tall Tales, we definitely will be coming back for more art!

My husband, and I met the owner of tall tales tattoo, Jesse, when he still worked at black rose. I actually had an appointment with another artist, who flaked, and Jesse introduced himself. Now my husband, and I both have a lot of tattoos, from various artists, but from that day forward, Jesse is the only person tattooing us. His work is 2nd to none. He’s definitely earned his nickname. The Serena Williams of tattooing🤣. Now he’s running his own shop, with a crew of badass artists, and the atmosphere is amazing. They treat everyone like family. My husband is constantly getting compliments on his sleeve, and people asking him where he gets his work done. I highly recommend Tall Tales to anyone looking for quality tattoos, and wish I could give 100 stars.

My little brother and sister in law came in for a memorial tattoo for my niece. I showed Jessie the tattoo I wanted and he brought it to life. I could not ask for a better first tattoo experience. The shop is also very clean and all the guys are very professional and you can tell they are perfectionist. I will definitely be back for my next tattoo.

Jessie got me in for my Hissy Kitty tattoo. I brought the idea but he gave me his opinion to make it look better. I love artist like Jessie that add their own artistic touch. That is why I l love tattoo artist. I cant wait to see what is next.

Checked in for piercings and was completely ignored for nearly 2 hours until I noticed that two ladies who just came into the shop got their piercings immediately, and before me. I dont know how long I would have waited before getting any assistance, but Im glad I stepped up. To be frank, this experience completely ruined my day.Other than that, the piercings are okay and I would have given 5 stars. I sincerely hope this was just a minor oversight; but it was a frustrating experience nonetheless.

This will be the only place Ill go to get my tattoo. The artists there are hella cool amd very professional. Chill spot to go to as well. I got my 1st Kingdom Hearts tattoo a few months ago and it STILL looks amazing! They did an amazing job and Im excited to get my next Kingdom Hearts tattoo!

Mike did my second lobe piercings, it was quick and he placed them evenly on both sides. He was very polite and patient with my mother’s piercing as well.

I was a walk in and handled with care . This was my first tattoo and @holy_wan_kenobi made sure I understood the whole process , calmed me down and was very gentle with the tattoo . I would rate them 10/10 and recommend everyone go check out his artwork on his instagram and book appointments

This class is grade-A with artists. The vibe is casual, and relaxing. Dennis is an incredible traditional artist, with a neo-90s vibe, well nuances in his art. Got 2 pieces here so far. Duh imma be back soon.
