Jorge has been the person I go to for my tattoos he’s an incredible artists and I’ve had a great experience! He is busy man and requested by many but if you are patient and wait for your turn it’s totally worth it in the end! It’s always a pleasure working with him!Everyone is always kind and welcoming.The shop itself is always very tidy and clean !

Jorge was awesome! I got my first tattoo with him over 5 years ago and after I started planning my next tattoo immediately! I ended up getting a whole sleeve done by him after the first initial tattoo I got. I told him my ideas and he brought it to life! I’ve been trying to get back to see him again but he’s always booked! I won’t go anywhere else to get tatted.

This shop is by far the best tattoo shop I have ever experienced. Great people and even better work done be the artist. I’ve been supporting this place since it started and have always walked away behind happy and in love with the new art I just got done. I have gotten both my sleeves, cover ups, and several large scale pieces done and have always walked out knowing I made the right decision picking Imperio and just in love with my new tattoos. I always recommend this place to my friends and would recommend it to anyone wanting quality art done by amazing people. I’ve been to a lot of tattoo shops in my day but since I’ve found this one it’s the only I go to anymore because I know exactly what I’m getting every time, an absolute masterpiece.

I’ve been coming to this shop since they opened 4+ years ago! They got a solid crew with a variety of styles.I get top tier quality work done by Caroleena every time.Her artistry is amazing. The type of artist that will take your idea and bring it to life- *better* than you could’ve imagined.I have some pretty interesting conceptual designs and very detailed pieces done- she’s a beast! Literally exceeds my expectations every time.I’m walking around everyday feeling like a Mobile art gallery!!

Since moving here I’ve been in search of a tattoo artist, I was told about Jorge and shown his work. Let me tell you I couldn’t have been more impressed. Jorge has taken my vision and has been turning it into a beautiful masterpiece.The shop as a whole is great and filled with talented artist who each specializes in their own way. The staff/artists are very personable, they make you feel welcome, comfortable and will make sure your tattoo is perfect and you are happy form how it looks on stencil to the placement before they start.They answer any questions or concerns you may have. The shop is always clean, light is bright, music is always on and ranging from everything.If you are seriously on the hunt for a shop or an artist check this place out. You won’t be disappointed.

Every tattoo artist at the shop is incredibly talented and makes the environment feel so welcoming and comfortable. I’ve only ever worked with Jorge, and my tattoos came out exactly how I envisioned they would in my mind. I plug him as an artist and this shop everytime someone compliments my tattoo. If you’ve never gotten a tattoo, or if this is your 1000th, imperio is the place to go for your tattoo needs.

Every tattoo I have gotten with Jorge has been nothing short of a great experience. Granted he is in high demand and hard to get an appointment with but definitely worth the wait! His work is top of the line! The attention to detail makes such a difference. I get compliments all the time and asked who does my work. I will continue to book with Jorge to complete my pieces. I had such an amazing experience getting my first tattoo with Cristina at Imperio tattoos last year. She was so thoughtful and surpassed my expectations! Her design was so beautiful!And Imperio was the best experience. All the artists were so nice and made me feel super comfortable!I cant wait to get my next one

The shop is immaculately clean and organized. Everyone is very welcoming. The art work gives you confirmation that your piece will be a stunner. The only thing I wish were different was that she didnt seem ready. Her line work and her detail was meticulous and my tattoo even on the finger is still mostly here. She did do an excellent job educating me so my expectations with the piece were realistic. I would go back but will allow about an hour of extra time.

I got my tattoo done by Jose last year at this shop and I had a great experience.I sent an Instagram message to the shop showing them what I wanted, they matched me with Jose. He was professional, responded in a timely fashion and accommodated my schedule.The shop is very clean and has incredible art on the walls to look at. Overall, I am extremely happy with the Skyrim inspired tattoo I got through Christina. I had booked a consultation with her and it was a very pleasant experience. She was personable, friendly and super educational. I had reference photos of what type of tattoo I wanted and she used ALL of the photos to create my finished piece. She stayed within the space I only wanted the tattoo in and was very attentive to detail. The shop itself was super clean and had lots of cool artwork, plus the bathrooms were impeccable. I’ve gotten ALL 3 of my tattoos from Jorge so far and i’ve LOVED every single one of them, His work is impeccable and he makes sure everything is perfect in your eyes before he gets started. His attention to detail is amazing and the environment is super chill , & on the plus side he’s super easy to sit with for hours while he pokes you! Not a single bad thing I can say about my experiences with him at all!

Jorge (@Chief_mota_ on instagram go follow him) is a highly skilled and professional tattoo artist. I’ve been to him 3 times. He does a great job of making sure you are comfortable during long tattoo sessions and taking breaks if you need it. The vibe in the shop is really dope, it’s clean and spacious too. I travel to get tatted by him but one time he was visiting my city & I wanted to get tatted so he brought all his gear & found a shop and scheduled time for us to meet there so I could get my tattoo. Another time he expertly changed the design of my tattoo at the last minute when I wanted it on a different part of my body, without complaining or making me feel bad about the change. Highly recommend him to anyone looking to get their first tattoo or if you’re adding to your collection.

I made the usual mistake of getting someones name tattooed on me. Xicano wizard at Imperio did my cover up and was so amazing at doing my cover up. Turned out beautiful and I couldnt be happier.

I have gotten several tattoos from Imperio Tattoos. Three from Jorge and one from Caroleena. We are not talking about small flash tattoos but arm sleeves, back pieces and a thigh tattoo. Plus 2 of my kids have also gotten tattoos. First, they pride themselves in doing one of a kind tattoos. Their artwork is top notch with a flare for making sure you are satisfied with your tattoos. Everything someone sees my tattoo they ask where I get them from as the detail has stood many years. Being a woman of color sometimes artist dont know how to work with our skin, however this is not an issue with either of them. Still deciding on my next piece.

Easy to find and very clean shop. Beautiful work and amazing artist! I got a very sentimental piece done after my dog passed away, the artist made me feel comfortable. It’s nice having a piece of my dog always with me🫶🏽

Chief Mota (Jorge) is THE BEST tattoo artist I have been to! He’s HUMBLE and a genuinely good person, and an amazing artist! I won’t go to anyone else! I’ve been going to him since he started in the shop that was a split building! He has grown so much!

8 months after loosing my daughter all I wanted was to see her lil face everyday again. I quickly decided that I want to get a portrait of her and I that I wanted to get it done on my chest (scary) after doing some research on local artist I found chief mota on social media . I started looking more into his background of being a tattoo artist and I was quickly convinced this is who I wanted to get my tattoo done by after looking at multiple artist. I couldn’t have been more thankful by choosing him. Not only did he deliver on the portrait but even the process was amazing and painless in my opinion. He took his time and really valued what he does as an artist! 6 years later still looks amazing and still get asked who did such an amazing portrait! 10/10 recommended!

I got my very first tattoo when they were in the other location by Wright Park. Was a great experience. Little to no pain. I now have a whole sleeve that was done by Jorge. Very professional and clean environment.

I had gotten a tattoo by Caroleena a while back. I had a great experience at the shop with her and Jorge. Both Caroleena and Jorge are kind, funny, and great personalities. I found this shop from a mutual friend who had been tattooed by Caroleena in the past. My sister has also been tattooed by Caroleena multiple times and always has a great time in the shop. If I could give the shop more stars, I would! Not only for the truly one of a kind of artwork that Caroleena, Jorge, and Jose do but for the environment that comes with it. Everyone is friendly, understanding, and charismatic. I have seen the shop continue to grow throughout the years and am happy to see them flourish. Jorge is not professional nor accommodating , 2 bad experiences. First was given the wrong address, sent to an ally, calling for the right address, never responded, I found the shop on my own, when I walked in he was tattooing someone else during MY appointment time ( mind you I was about 20 minutes late due to the fact he gave me the wrong address and I had to find the shop on my own ) and made me wait 2 hours after that in the evening. I was really fed up after this experience. Decided to try again a year later. Sent deposit a month in advance , he tried to push my appointment back 2 hours later for his client before me (which is literally not fair how you gonna accommodate someone else by f’ing over somebody else) I just ended up asking for my deposit back because I’m so fed up with the lack of professionalism. Lost a customer for life. Sad. Both tattoos were $600+ and sent deposit both times (this would’ve been my 3rd tattoo by him)

Just do your homework thoroughly review their tattoo/art on their social media. Numbers aint everything Honesty integrity and respect go a long way. This is permanent art and these artist should stay in their professional lanes.

Chief mota is the best in the game! I always get compliments on my half sleeve that was done by him, I live in Oregon now but the nice thing is that he even travels out here when he gets the opportunity :) Ask for him or any of his artists at imperio tattoo!!

Long story short I was referred to this tattoo establishment by my husband. If I was going to rate this establishment off just one tattoo artist then it would just be a 1 star. We were referred to an artist called Jae. I met with him the 1st day to sketch out ideas and tell him what I wanted. We started that tattoo on my 1st scheduled tattoo appointment. Everything was going well and then we made an appointment for my 2nd visit to finish up my sleeve. On the day of the next scheduled scheduled appointment we had, I ended up having an emergency and went to the hospital and got surgery done. As soon as I was released and went home to rest and heal I message J immediately apologizing and explaining the situation and seeing if we could reschedule. I shouldnt have to apologize about having a medical emergency urgency but I was apologizing for the fact that I know it may been an inconvenience for him as well. 2 days go by and II can see that he saw my message as soon as I sent it. So I responded again because I figured he was just busy. His next response was rude he told me that he was purposely ghosting me and he didnt want to work with me no more and that he was keeping the deposit. I didnt care so much about the deposit because thats what that is for but at the same time its just so inhumane to me that profit is more important than human worth. I was just so appalled by the unprofessionalism and blatant disrespect.Not only by his words and actions, but the immaturity as well of purposely a ghosting instead of explaining how he feels. It was childish. Just take your time and money to a more professional establishment.
