Ravens Claw Tattoo & Gallery

I spent a couple of months interviewing different artists at 10 different tattoo shops. I finally settled on Ravens Claw Tattoo in Tacoma. I chose Ravens Claw for several reasons. The quality of the work I saw in Instagram. The cleanliness & organization of the studio. The owner, Mike Campbell spent time with me going over my needs before I had chosen a studio. I was impressed with his work. Mike & his crew are great people. There is no feeling of arrogance you get in a lot of studios. I had Mike ink the tattoos seen the the photo today. Next will be a memorial for the dog I just lost. After months of searching I have found my tattoo home. I highly recommend Mike & Ravens Claw Tattoo.

Love the environment and everyone there seems so nice. this is my second tattoo here and i had a great experience for both, the detail and dedication really shows in their work.

Outside of the needle (obviously), an amazing business, stunning art and super talented artists. Was my 1st tattoo and already working ideas to get more done there!

The artists at ravensclaw are 2nd to none. A shop full of talent and many styles to choose from. 10/10 would reccomend

Hands down this is a five star tattoo shop. I had my tattoo done by Mike and he did a phenomenal job. The decor and presentation as well as cleanliness around the shop is prime. Highly recommend. Many of my friends go here too!

My partner got their third tattoo from here and it turned out great! It had more detail than we originally thought it did. Very professional.

Clean. Wonderfully weird. Super talented and kind artists. Good playlist. Ethan did my tattoo and it was a perfect experience and beautifully done. Made another appt on the spot. Highly reccommend this shop!

My spouse and I have been coming to Mike since 2016 and have gotten several tattoos each (I have 7 including 2 colorful sleeves, she has 5 tattoos). He is awesome and I’m always pleased with the artistry of his work. I recommend him to anyone whenever they ask who we’ve used…which is a lot!!

I had a great time getting a piece done by Olivia. Its my second tattoo and I was super nervous but she was awesome and it didnt hurt nearly as much as I remembered from my first. It turned out AMAZING and I highly recommend her and this studio in general. Great vibes and nice people.

My experience with the staff and my tattoo were amazing. My artist Mariah was so good, and I will be back for more I am sure. Now the reason for only three stars. If I cant find parking within a couple of blocks of your business, then it makes it seriously difficult to use your service. The only parking is along the street as most businesses have signs claiming to tow you if you park there. And when all of the street parking is taken, then you have to walk further to get there. This is not the best of neighborhoods. Depending on the time of day I would simply just not go there. I understand that there arent many if any options available for Ravens Claw. But I believe that if either parking were better or the location was better that you possibly could have more customers.

If you guys want the best, in the most amazing environment, gallery , state of the art tattoos ....this is the place, only place I go to have both full sleeves, very happy with everything! 10 out of 10!!!

The atmosphere is really cool and so are the artists! I went in for a touch up on a tattoo that I wasnt all that pleased with and Mike was wonderful! A great conversationalist and now Im actually happy to show my tattoo off to people

Great place. Fit me in for a quick walk in, and gave me great results. Clean and comfortable environment, my artist Ethan was kind, knowledgeable, and efficient. Definitely recommend this shop to anyone and will be going back for a more personalized tattoo.

Just moved to the area and needed a new artist. Mike was amazing, and worked with what I was looking for to cover up an older tattoo. The environment is very welcoming and professional. Will definitely be getting more work done at this studio.

This is a very professional environment where you can feel confident knowing your tattoo will be done even better than expected. It is nicely decorated as a gallery to show off some local artists and nicely spaced out. I have been getting tattooed by the owner, Mike, for 5 years. He always does amazing work and aims to make his clients happy. This is the most comfortable and cool tattoo shop I have ever stepped foot in and I will keep coming back and referring others!

Awesome staff with an awesome studio that is clean and appealing. Beautiful artwork adorns the studio walls. Ethan has been working with my wife and myself, and is very professional, listens to our wants and makes professional suggestions. I highly recommend this studio!

I had the best (and probably greatest) experience here! Alexis is very friendly & extremely knowledgeable. Quality black & grey work on a very visible area. Easy parking nearby. The first artist to offer second skin adhesive cover and comfortable! Thanks again!

I had my first tattoo done here by Mike. he worked with me to get the design how I wanted and explained the whole process as he went. Super friendly and welcoming staff and a really great atmosphere to the shop. I greatly appreciate Mikes patience with me. i would definitely recommend it.

Went in yesterday; the whole place is nice and open. Had a wonderful experience with a super talented and awesome artist named Ryan. Took my friend for her birthday to get her first tattoo. Decided to get another one for myself while we were there. He was great with her and made her feel comfortable getting her first ink. He gave great suggestions for color and placement. Would highly recommend them and I will definitely be going back!

Tagged along with my son. Mike did his tattoo. I was very impressed. Great artist, great personality, good business owner. The other artist we saw there also did some fantastic work. I would highly recommend.

Some of the nicest people you’ll ever meet. I have worked with Ryan on multiple sessions and he is a not just a great artist but and even better dude! I went in getting a tattoo done I got a small tattoo 5 words smallest tattoo payed 140. Overall nice person but just don’t recommend to get a tattoo my tattoo looks like I did it with sharpie 🤦🏽‍♀️ And on top of that when it was healing half of the word was faded looking like I had it for years. Everyone laughs when they see my tattoo or say you payed how much !!bad experience I wanted this tattoo to turn out good but I’m just gonna end up covering it since there no fixing this mess 😭 and on top of it it’s not straight !!

Its a beautiful gallery and tattoo parlor. I went in for a Friday the 13th event and had some work done by a guest artist, but everyone I talked to from the regular staff was super nice and the studio as a whole was very clean and professional. Im looking forward to starting some more projects.

Mariah took me as a walk in appointment today for a tattoo I wanted on my ribs, they were incredibly friendly and kind and the art is beautiful. Also a very clean and visually appealing shop.

Stopped in for a consultation with Jesse. Loved his ideas, cant wait to see him at our first appointment! The shop was clean and had a chill vibe.
