My favorite shop in Tacoma… and out of everywhere else I’ve been to be honest. The dope style of the shop, the provided snacks and water, the view from the shop windows, it’s all super welcoming and an enjoyable place to be for a few hours! Gio is super talented- my tattoo from him is everyone’s favorite when I get asked about my tattoos and where I got them. Meg also did a great job and was super nice to talk to! And can’t forget Britt! She makes the shop super friendly and welcoming from your first step through the door. Amazing life long art from some dope artists 🤌🏻🖤

I have been to see Gio two times now, and he does not disappoint. He is an incredibly talented artist who exceeded my expectations on both projects. I am so glad I trusted his process. I feel like he nailed my vision for both pieces and really appreciate the time and effort he put into them. This shop is a FAMILY. They made sure I was comfortable for the entire process (from booking a consultation to tattoo day). Gio and Britt are extremely communicative, professional and welcoming. Not to mention Gio is truly a talented artist and his work never ceases to amaze me. I will literally be flying cross country for the next tattoo because that’s how worth it, it is!

I got my first tattoo done here, by Meg and she is working on my second one as well. Both experiences have been great! The shop is very clean, they have drinks and snacks, and everyone at the shop is friendly and laid back.

I have been tattooed by Meg a few times since October. I came in for a Halloween flash event. Meg is awesome and I love her style of art. The shop is super clean and has a very welcoming feel and laid back vibe. Brit and Gio are great and hanging out at the shop is fun. Meg has put a total of four pieces on me and I love them all. I have been to this shop a few times. Meg is an amazing artist and I have loved every one of my pieces she has done. The shop has a great atmosphere and is so welcoming. Tattoo artist Gio does some amazing artwork as well. Overall amazing experience and is definitely like a family with G, Meg, and Britt.

I have gotten several tattoos from Meg (@sweetspottats on IG) and have loved all of them! I usually have no idea what I want to get, only that I love her work and the energy she has. She has picked from my random, vague, and unhinged tattoo ideas list and smacked it out of the park, shes taken a photo I found cool and done something out of her usual style and adapted on the spot when my leg just wasnt cooperating and I have gotten some awesome and weird flash that is uniquely her style. She is super flexible on idea changes, rescheduling because of illness, and listening to your needs while getting tattooed. Honestly, I am going to ask Meg to tattoo me before anyone else.Outside of Meg, I highly recommend this shop as well. It exceeds my standards of clean good vibes. They put forth an effort for their clientele that is really welcoming, chatting with each other and with whoever is there. Plus, there are snacks.

I got my first tattoo done here by Gio a few months ago and just booked for my next idea. His work is absolutely incredible. You can tell that he pours his heart into every single piece and his artwork truly speaks for itself. I get constant compliments on how perfect the tattoo is and I couldnt agree more. Gio took my idea and turned it into a piece that holds so much meaning to my heart and looks beautiful!!!The shop itself is incredible!!! Its comfortable and clean. I’ve been here multiple times and been tattooed by both of their current artists, Gio and Meg. The environment is extremely welcoming, they consistently have flashes/availability, and my expectations are always surpassed. Britt always makes scheduling and appointments so easy. I never feel stressed asking questions or just chatting about tattoos with any of the employees. If you are looking for a good tattoo place in Tacoma, this shop is definitely my first recommendation!

Gio has done two tattoos for me and both are absolutely perfect. Him and Britt are always so welcoming and go out of their way to make their clients comfortable. The shop is always clean and well taken care of. Ill continue going back to them for my future tattoos.

Gio Martinez is the man! I had such an amazing experience getting my first tattoo from him. Not only did he turn my idea into a masterpiece but throughout the tattoo we shared some awesome stories which kept my mind off the pressure. The placement of my tattoo was on my ribs which was tough to get through but Gio was very patient throughout the whole process. The shop is locally owned by a husband and wife Britt. They make a wonderful team providing a fun yet professional atmosphere. The shop was super clean and organized. I am so stoked to have an important piece of art on me for the rest of my life that I can share with others. I will be back with no hesitation to get some more ink soon!

You’ll get more than just a tattoo here, you’ll get a whole experience every single time you visit the shop. They pride themselves on their standard that is unmatched by any other shop. The Violent Delights Tattoo team are the RADDEST! Walking into the shop, I immediately felt so welcome and comfortable. The shop radiated immensely great energy. Britts infectious smile was so warm as I stepped foot into the shop. Though she was working with a client, Meg took the time to talk to me and asked me about what tattoo I was getting done, which was super cool of her.I came in as a walk-in to get a mango tattoo done by Gio to celebrate one year of recovery from my eating disorder. As a tattoo novice, I have very limited knowledge of the art form. Gio, with his years of experience, was incredibly insightful and guided me through his process. I am in LOVE with my mango tattoo! Thank you Gio for such a meaningful piece!I am getting a harry potter themed piece in honor my puppy by Gio very soon and I am SO excited!

Best shop and artist I have ever worked with! I will always recommend Gio to anyone coming to Washington. I still can’t get over how great my tattoo looks and how he captured my idea perfectly. I wish I found him sooner so I could get more work done. He also deserves more than 5 stars.

I got my first Gio tattoo three weeks ago and I absolutely love it! The amount of detail is insane, he applies the perfect amount of pressure so it was far from painful, and so easy to talk to (which is so nice when you’re getting a big piece!) I loved my tattoo so much that I went back two weeks later for another consultation. My father passed away in August 2020 and he had a 67’ Camaro that was his world. I trust Gio 100% to tattoo that beautiful car on my arm in July and I can’t wait! His wife is also so sweet and they make the perfect team. My best friend also is planning on traveling from Minnesota to get more tattoos from him (she already has 3 pieces from him), and that says something!

My wife and I love Violent Delights. They’re s the best tattoo artists that we’ve been to. Gio did my cover up and I left it up him with the design. I was blown away and it looks just perfect as the day I got it. My Wife saw Gaberil to do a new tattoo and was very happy with what he did for her. Any wait there is to get in is worth every minute and every penny you spend here.

The shop was super chill and private. Gio and the shop manager Britt (I hope I remembered the name right!) were friendly, kind and professional. The shop was easy to find and there was parking right next to the building. Will definitely be back for another tattoo soon! I would highly recommend

Never worked with such a professional tattoo shop. Gio is working on a very special piece for me and really took the time to hear my dreams and hopes for my half sleeve memorial piece. I can’t wait to sit with him and watch it come to life!! 100% recommend coming here, you won’t regret it.

Great customer service. He drafted a unique design for a group of us on super short notice and then absolutely crushed the tattoo when it came time to put ink to skin. Clean and professional. Id definitely go back for another tattoo with Gio!

Gio posted a custom piece and as soon as I saw it, I had to have it. Great communication and awesome environment. Gio is super chill and easy to work with and seeing him in his element putting a piece he designed and came up with and not something I brought to him was a fantastic experience.

I came here for the first time two weeks ago for their Friday the 13th flash event. I already want to go back because I loved my experience at the shop that much. My first impression was how incredibly friendly everyone was. The shop is cute, had snacks, and is very clean. I also love the location of the shop. 10/10 would recommend to others.

This place is hands down the best tattoo shop I have ever been too. I feel so comfortable there and am treated with respect. The couple who runs this business are extremely friendly and make sure their customers are safe.

Even as someone with several tattoos, not every shop is comfortable to be in. That’s not the case with this shop, it’s so chill and such a great atmosphere! You could spend your entire day there- and the music is always on point!

Gio is the man, Im 19 years old I got my first tattoo from gio when I turned 18 hes the coolest guy and has the lightest hand his art work is absolutely insane lines are sharp and clean details are out of this world I have received 2 from him already and getting my entire chest done by him in February prices are high but thats not a bad thing the value is incomparable to anything Ive ever seen. Easy to talk to for long periods of time great music taste all around absolutely love the work and the shop I now currently live in Chicago for work and I booked a flight for a weekend to fly into seattle get my tattoo from him and go right back home I am flying across the country for his work 10 out of 10 recommend to anyone that wants a tattoo !

Getting my military memorial tattoo done here. Amazing artist that doesnt do the normal pick it and stick it tattoos. Long wait to get in but good ink is worth the wait. I highly recommend this place!
