Nearly 40 and got my ears pierced for the first time... Found Caitlins business via Google and was excited to see they offered appointments on the weekends. Scheduled a Sunday morning appointment on Saturday night online and got right in. The new office is clean and welcoming, but most importantly I was treated so so so well! I had the opportunity to talk with Caitlin, Jake, and Lilith. Theyre all super personable and made my experience TOP TIER! I will definitely return if I decide to get more piercings. Always a pleasure getting a piercing from Caitlin and/or her crew. Jake has done my last 3 or 4 piercings and he’s amazing! Super chill guy, very knowledgeable and professional. Both he and Lilith are very funny too. Though I haven’t been pierced by Lilith yet, I’m sure I will in the future!! I had a wonderful experience coming to check out the new studio/shop space and getting a new piercing + jewelry upgrade. The studio is so spacious, inviting, and clean- not to mention there’s so many amenities like snacks & drinks in the waiting room, and menstrual products in the restroom. Holier Toledo only just opened but it already feels like a safe space for those of us that love piercings in a welcoming, comfortable environment. My friend Danielle is obsessed with Piercings By Caitlin/Holier Toledo and had asked me to come to her appointment and check out Caitlin’s new shop in Toledo. I was immediately sucked in. Her new shop is super cute, well decorated, very clean, and HUGE!I hadn’t originally planned on getting a piercing but the temptation of the beautiful and plentiful jewelry options got the best of me. On top of this, Caitlin, Jake, and Lilith were extremely welcoming and were quick to help and answer any questions I had. I wound up getting my flat pierced with Jake and had the best piercing experience ever. I do not do well with needles but Jake ensured that I was comfortable and calm and allowed me to take as much time as I needed (laying down) after the piercing was done to prevent potentially passing out.I will definitely be returning as Caitlin and her crew made it very clear that they take pride in their work and care about their clients. I would recommend this place to anyone looking to get a piercing done!

Went in to get a consult on getting a rejected piercing from a different piercer redone and Caitlin was super helpful and knowledgeable. She helped me come up with a plan and time frame to get the piercing redone and helped plan out new piercings.While I was waiting for my appointment, I overheard her speaking with a young patient who had just gotten a new piercing and she was super kind, patient, and encouraging. The shop was awesome and everyone was super kind and excited. I would 100% recommend and will be going back.

My experience could not have gone any smoother while getting my piercing! From the minute I walked in, choosing the jewelry, getting the piercing and checking out was so good. I got nose pierced here and the whole place was super clean and very clearly sanitized often. The whole staff was super friendly and Caitlin made my piercing super quick and easy while taking it slow enough to make me feel comfortable. Along with that the free snacks and drinks helped make me feel better after and if you get faint easily would help a lot. Overall I had a great experience and would come back anytime.

My best friend and I got our 🍒 pierced. We were so scared and Caitlin helped calm our nerves. I felt so safe and comfortable around her. I went first and I was only on the table for like 60 seconds because she is so efficient. My best friend went and she was super anxious. Caitlin stayed super patient with my friend even though we were running out of time. After a very long time of me convincing my friend it doesn’t hurt (which it’s a slight pinch for .6 seconds) she finally got it done and was so pleased. Thank you Caitlin for being patient and helping my friend calm down. We will be returning!!!The place is super clean, staff is friendly, and the videos posted on their Facebook page made it very easy to find the room!

I’ve gotten 10 piercings done at Piercings By Caitlin. The staff is very helpful with picking out the perfect jewelry for you and assisting with the quick paperwork. The shop is clean and professional. The staff thoroughly explains the aftercare process and gives tips for any existing piercings that are struggling to heal. I sometimes faint at the sight of blood/ have anxiety in medical settings, and the staff is great at putting my anxieties at ease. I wouldn’t go anywhere else for my piercings.

Had my 7yo ears pierced here for the first time and the entire experience was amazing! Kaitlyn explained everything very clearly and made sure everyone was comfortable and worked fast to minimize any discomfort! My daughter giggled through the appointment, worth every penny!

Caitlin is a phenomenal piercer and offers the best jewelry selection in the area. She has done five of my piercings so far, tapered open my first lobes and pierced my daughter’s first lobes. Her attention to detail and mindfulness about creating a clean, safe, friendly environment is unparalleled. I have had some pretty thick cartilage pierced and Caitlin was swift with the piercing and jewelry transfer, minimizing pain and discomfort like the absolute pro she is. Highly recommend her ear curation service if you have multiple piercings planned, either at once or over time, or are undecided about your piercing/jewelry options. I will be back many times over!

I got an eyebrow piercing from Lilith, and I can’t recommend her enough!! The whole staff was lovely, but Lilith was absolutely fantastic. I was very anxious to get the piercing done, and she was very accommodating and took the time to explain every detail about what she was going to preform. I’ve gotten 10+ piercings in my lifetime, and Lilith has been my favorite experience by far. I will absolutely be back to get more piercings done by her. Jake was fantastic! I am so pleased with my experience! I knew I was going to the best piercing team in the city but wow! My expectations were blown out of the water, Jake was professional, personable, knowledgeable, and such a kind human. I was made to feel as comfortable as possible during the entire process. Every question was answered with a wealth of knowledge presented in a way that made sense to me. Jake took his time making sure that everything was to my liking even and where I was happy with placement, I have never seen a piercer take such care in their work. As far as the actual piercing it was a smooth process and Jake made sure to communicate every single step as he was performing each step. Ive always had a great experience from the first visit where I had help with some holes from another shop. Pricing will be higher than anticipated due to the quality of the jewelry available and the experience of the staff. There is a piercing fee for each hole and all the jewelry is priced by individual piece (meaning front and back). The variety of jewelry available is almost overwhelming, but the selection has never disappointed The pieces are always sanitized along with other precautions used for safety purposes. The staff are always amazing. Ive worked with Caitlin several times and most recently was introduced officially to Jake who helped my birthday girl (5 and a handled it like a champ!) And almost 7 year old get their first set. My older daughter chose paw prints in the spirit of our late family dog. My youngest has rainbow flowers which couldnt fit her more perfectly! He was professional and really responded well to my kiddos. Theyre extremely certified staff and continuously improve their knowledge of the art and industry. Please support a local artist as the money comes right back to our area communities!❤️👂🐾🌈💐

Came in for jewelry down sizing and it was simple and easy. I had also asked about checking some other piercings I had that were possibly closed up and wanting to put jewlery back in. Caitlin was able to squeeze me in between some other clients to repierce them! Absolutely love Caitlin and her team. I took my 8 year old daughter to get her ears pierced. I was concerned that the piercing was too low. Months later the piercing came out! Now, she will need plastic surgery to fix her ear! She was traumatized when this happened! I contacted Caitlin about this experience and received no response. I should have just went to Claires to get her ears pierced! I would not recommend anyone getting a piercing at Amity Ink!

I have gotten nearly all of my piercings done by Caitlin. I am always a happy customer when leaving the shop! She is very gentle and does a great job explaining the process (as well as aftercare). She is always informative on what the pain of the specific piercing may feel like to help calm any nerves I may have. Every piercing she has done for me so far has been spot on with what she described the pain to feel like! She’s very knowledgeable and does a wonderful job. I always make sure to schedule with her! Caitlin has been my go to for piercings for the last 5+ years. The work space has always been very clean, with a professional and chill atmosphere. Caitlin and Jake have both always been very knowledgeable, do great work, communicate the process well and are always friendly. Prices are a bit high, but it is worth the price of the cleanliness, high quality jewelry, and time dedicated to clients. I have had 10+ piercings completed here and only ever had one issue with one jewelry piece. Caitlin was able to steer me in the right direction of what worked for my body and i have had no issues since. I never hesitate to send anyone their way for any body mods or piercings!

My daughter and I came in for a scheduled earlobe piercing with Levi. I was blown away by his professionalism and patience with my super high anxiety daughter. She had a million questions and was really nervous. She wasn’t pressured to do something she ultimately didn’t feel ready for. She already wants to come back to try again.I was also able to get my lip pierced while I was there, I was impressed with the cleanliness of the shop and his technique. Caitlin pierced my daughters ears when she turned 13. She was patient l, kind and incredibly informative and helpful! She uses high quality jewelry and is no doubt the best piercer in the Toledo Area!

I got my nostril piercing done here by Jake. He took me as a walk-in, which I really appreciated. He took care of the piercing in a short amount of time, and made sure I had all my questions answered. He also made sure that I was feeling well after he performed the piercing. I received a goodie bag with sterile spray for the healing process, a magnet, a sticker, and written after-care instructions. Would highly recommend Jake for your next piercing!As an aside - the jewelry here is all high-quality. I have sensitive skin and they had lots of suitable options for me to choose from. I have experienced no irritation from my new jewelry.

My friend and I went in on 1/15 to get some piercings. We didnt have an appointment but Id highly recommend setting one up, we got lucky that they had a cancellation and could take us because they were super busy. Which is awesome because Caitlin did an AMAZING job so I can see why the shop is so popular! Between the person who checked us in (I didnt get their name) and Caitlin the whole experience was quick, easy, and very transparent. Caitlin is very personable and professional and you can tell that she is passionate about what she does. The goody bags with after are instructions, saline solution, and candy and stickers is very cute! The shop has a great atmosphere, is very inclusive, clean, organized, and the staff is knowledgeable and friendly. 20/10 would recommend and will be back!

I went here for the first time for a septum piercing. Jake did the piercing free hand and he did an excellent job. No painful clamps, and he explained everything as he was doing it which made me feel at ease. After having the piercing done I was given a free bag with cleaner for my piercing and a brochure with extensive aftercare instructions. They even sent email and text reminders encouraging me to keep up on my aftercare for a few days after I got it done! Unlike other places I have been to, Amity has a wide range of jewelry options to chose from that can be used in your initial piercing. They can even idonize (I think that’s the right word) the jewelry to make it any color you want for an extra five dollars. My only complaint is that some of their jewelry options are a bit pricey. It would be awesome if they could include more affordable gold toned options. Overall though, a great experience. The shop was clean and Jake showed that he was knowledgeable about piercing. It is clear that their piercing staff are well trained. I would recommend this place for anyone, especially for those getting their first piercing and may be a little nervous.

Ive been going to Caitlin for all of my piercings for years now. She has a wonderful personality and you can definitely tell shes takes pride in what she does. She does a wonderful job explaining the process and aftercare, as well as answering any questions you have. Honestly, the three piercers at Amity are all wonderful. I made an appointment for Sunday (5/4) to have my lip piercing checked and possibly downsized. My piercing has been giving me some issues and Caitlin helped me troubleshoot what my issue was with a lull in the healing process. We downsized and put a flat piece on my lip to stop me from catching it so itll heal quicker. She told me she just wanted my piercing to heal and comped the service for me. Everyone in there really cares about not only their work but how their customers enjoy their new body art or body mod! Its refreshing to go into a place and just feel welcomed. My husband, who has no tattoos or piercings, told me after we left that Amity Ink is where hed like to get his first tattoo since he was super impressed by everyone there and the space. We will 100% always make the 20-25 min drive out to Maumee for their work!

I took my 7 year old to get her ears pierced and it was phenomenal! Caitlin did an awesome job explaining everything that was going on so she wasn’t scared. I also had to bring her back in to get her ears checked because she had a reaction to the jewelry that I had changed. (Totally my fault. Great learning experience to do EXACTLY what they tell you ). Jessica “Fez”, was awesome and got everything cleaned and changed back to the original titanium. They are always so pleasant and I would recommend them to anyone.

Came here to get my nostril and industrial done for my 16th birthday. I was pretty nervous considering these were my first REAL piercings (besides claire’s) but Caitlin made me feel so comfortable and at ease. She helped pick out the perfect jewelry, and the actual process went by so much faster than expected! She’s so good even my industrial was no big deal. Got my piercing checked up by Levi today. The whole process was very quick, easy going, and he made me feel very comfortable by explaining everything that was happening before and during it occuring. He had major respect for my personal space and autonomy which was nice because it made me feel seen as human. I had a double nostril, pierced elsewhere, that was pierced at the wrong angle and causing the piercing to irritate, which could’ve possibly resulted in permanent scarring had I not gotten it removed. Levi was very informative and kind during the whole process and replaced my jewelry in the other piercing that wasn’t pierced at an incorrect angle. The whole experience was very quick, painless, and reasonably priced. 10/10 would go here for all of my piercing needs from now on.

Caitlin is absolutely wonderful at what she does. I had gotten my philtrum pierced several years ago and the whole thing ended up being an honest nightmare. I wanted to give it a try again and I am so, so glad that I went to Caitlin for this. It went by quickly with minimal pain. She is so professional, thorough, kind and I immediately felt comfortable being around her. Cailtin also provides free aftercare mist which most places will charge you a lot for.10/10 experience. I left feeling happy and will absolutely be going to her again in the future.

I recently moved up here for college and have gotten two piercings since. Levi pierced my septum and it was an amazing experience. He even changed out my friends jewelry even though she didnt have an appointment. Super knowledgable and kind. I got pierced by Jake as well and had a similar experience. The shop is clean and comfortable, the piercers are very knowledgable, and the jewelry selection is amazing. Pricing is similar to my shops back home but I would drive the 3 hrs back up here just because of the environment. Highly recommend!

Made an appointment for a nasal piercing. Show up 20 minutes before my appointment because of construction. Wait for the tattoo/ piercer to show. He finally arrives and takes me to the cases with all the rings in it and told me that the rings in the velvet cases were gold and white gold and the rings in the wood cases were hypoallergenic and that the gold ones would be more expensive and to pick which one I wanted and he would tell me the price after Ive picked a couple. After I found one that I thought I liked, I asked him for the final cost. He said for the ring that I picked and for the piercing the total was going to be $160 😱🫣 The only words I could manage to say were no just no. Then he says the ones in the wood case were cheaper. So I said to just tell me whats the price if I were to pick any of them. After he looked at the price and calculated the total was going to be $90. I said absolutely not. That was outrageous. I knew the cost was 50 for the piercing. Ive had my nose pierced before and the cost of the ring is included with the cost of the piercing. They dont include the cost so the cost is separate and then he threatened to charge me for refusing to get pierced.. $50 because I didnt keep my appointment. I told him I would have kept my appointment if it wasnt so expensive. But $160 is ridiculous. He said that I would not be able to schedule there anymore and I dont plan to!

Caitlin pierced my daiths a few years ago. When I have to get retainers put it, I can always get in and service is always great. Caitlin and Jake have always taken care of me, are always professional and yet will talk to you like you’re a person, not just someone spending money. They have always made me feel comfortable and always walk me through everything they are doing. I would not and do not recommend anyone else to anyone that is talking about getting a piercing!

Went here to get my forward helix pierced and I had a great experience! Jake was so lovely and did an amazing job. I unknowingly, until Jake informed me, was pierced by caitlyns team when they were under a different name/buisness and it was by far the greatest piercing experience i’ve ever had (and ive had plenty of good and bad experiences). I asked Jake about their pricing and he broke it down for me and why it costs more than some cheap shop that’s open till 3 am. The staff has members apart of the APP (association of professional piercers) which made me feel like I was in good hands when getting needles put in my head. Why settle for cheap, dingy shops when you can be taken very good care of by intelligent professionals like Jake? Definitely will be a regular after having such an amazing experience!

Caitlin has done 10/12 of my ear piercing and has always done an amazing job. My first piercing was at the mall and they weren’t even but with Caitlin’s expertise and placement of my other piercing you can barley tell! She’s so knowledgeable kind and really has a great eye for where to put new jewelry(and has amazing jewelry to chose from)

My daughter got her nose pierced here and I was highly impressed. The piercer was thorough with placement and care education. She even took the time to look at an ear piercing she did not perform to help us remove the jewelry. It was very clean and I saw the tools being sanitized prior to use. I am also impressed with their aftercare follow-up policy.

Ive now visited Piercings by Caitlin three times for new piercings, downsizing and new jewelry. They have the most amazing selection of high end earrings and body jewelry. There is something for every style. The staff is so patient and friendly and genuinely wants you to be happy with whatever body modification you choose. I brought my three year old daughter in to get her ears pierced on her birthday. Caitlin was absolutely wonderful from start to finish!! I’m not pleased with my service. Went to get my septum repierced (the first time getting it pierced here they gave me jewelry that was too small and it was not healing correctly because of how tight the jewelry was so I had to take it out) and this time the piercer gave me jewelry that was way too big and refused to switch it out for a smaller piece. Went to get advice from another piercing shop and turns out, not only was the jewelry too big for my face but the piercer here at Amity, pierced it too low and it was not in the correct spot. The other shop took it out for me so my nose could heal instead of healing around a wrongly placed hole. When I decide to get my septum done AGAIN after two wrong piercings at Amity, I will be going elsewhere to make sure it’s done correct this time because this will be number 3 after two wrongs at Amity.Edited to add that the first time I got my septum done it was done by a piercer who is not at Amity anymore and this most recent time where it was pierced low was by Levi.

I was around 13 or 14 when I got pierced my first time but it was such an amazing experience. I got my industrial from her for the first one and she was patient with me through the crying but she did it fast and it looked great. Her jewelry is also extremely pretty! I loved it so much I went back twice. 😎

We took our young daughter in for her first lobe piercing. I was looking for a reputable shop who prioritized cleanliness and the well being of their clients and thats exactly what we got. Fez (Jessica) was kind, explained things thoroughly to both myself and my child, and ensured we left with everything we needed to ensure her ears healed well. I would highly recommend for children or adults.

I had my nose pierced yesterday, October 2. Such an amazing experience! Jess/Fez walked me through every step thoroughly. They were so informative and patient and kind. I got my septum piercing done here, and I love it. I got it back in December of 2020, I believe, and my piercer was very thorough in explaining the process to me. The building was also very clean. When comparing my experience to a friends experience, I felt very grateful that I chose to get my piercing done here. They explained the healing process very well, told me how to clean it during the healing process, and even sent me home with a small bottle of Saline, which I appreciated. I believe I was also offered some juice or water in the case that I felt faint. Overall, the staff was super professional and friendly, and I’m thinking about going back for another piercing.

Heyy guyss!I’m back to writing reviews on places I visit with the girlies, and I have to say… I love this place! Caitlin and her sweetheart of a receptionist were THE BEST! Sometimes I can be quite judgemental, HOWEVER there is nothing bad I can say. NOTHING, from me!?!?!?The girlies and I decided that we should try something crazy and get some piercings, so per usual we jumped in my trusty Buick Encore AKA THE GIRLIE MOBILE, and took a trip to Amity Ink. While the front of the building was being repaired, we entered from the rear parking lot which was really convenient for us. The place was so bright and inviting, not like any other shop I have seen. The Jaws theme is so cool! We were greeted by a sweet pink haired girl who ended up being Caitlin’s assistant. Even though she was very pregnant and should be resting, she assured us that she was able to sit on the couch and relax when needed and that this was her final week before going on maternity leave, yet she was still very excited to help us! She showed us some jewelry and got us pricing before letting Caitlin know so that she can start the sterilization process.I went with a B E A U TIFUL opal disk.There were so many options that my girlies were each able to get something that fit their style. Betty got a cute little dog paw for her chihuahua Jorge, and Susan got a cute little butterfly.Once everything was ready, Caitlin walked us back to her area where we all chatted and had a great time. Caitlin was very patient with Susan, because this was her first piercing! We couldn’t have made a better decision when it comes to piercing services. I am so very happy that we saw her commercial while watching our soaps. Thank you Caitlin and pink haired girlie!!!! I will be RAVING about you two to all of my family and everyone I come across. My wife & I couldnt of asked for a better experience for our daughter, who wanted her ears pierced for her 6th birthday. The shop was very clean & welcoming and Caitlin was an absolute pro. I took my girls for their ears pierced. Caitlin was very patient and answered all of our questions. She showed each step and explained what all of the tools jobs. It was pricey but I am satisfied with the results. They have no issues with their earrings and just changed out of the starter pair.

I had my septum pierced my Caitlin about a month ago and have never been so pleased with a piercing experience where I felt the need to write about it. This was my seventh (maybe?) piercing, and have never been impressed like this. Caitlin provided the best birthday present to my daughter. All so wanted was to have her ears pierced and understood that she would have to have a needle piercing. Caitlin took the time to explain to my six year old what she was going to do. She did a demo piercing on the stuffed animal my daughter brought. My daughter even signed her consent paperwork (we did too). Months later when her piercing healed my daughter had pinched the back of a standard eating into her piercing. Caitlin was able to switch out the earrings to one of her earrings and her ear healed back up. When my other children are old enough to want piercings without hesitation I will take them to Caitlin. I was told that the barbells they had to choose from were the best as they were longer than most barbells-It would facilitate in the healing process.They werent actually that long and were a touch short for me.I trusted in what my piercer said and we went with the barbells she suggested-thankfully, they healed pretty well.I was also forced to buy solution and even though that is the case in many piercing studios, I already had some. This is where I received my daith piercing and I loved the place and Caitlin! I had heard that daith piercings may help with migraine headaches and figured even if it didn’t, it would still be a nice piercing. Well it did help me! My migraines decreased dramatically.
