The only place i’ll ever go to for my piercings! Steel Addictions has such a comfortable and safe environment. All of the staff is very kind and friendly. Brandi has done 5 of my piercings. She always amazes me with her knowledge and perfection in what she does.

I was super hesitant to get tattooed in the states. Most of my tattoos are from Japan and are about 15 years old. But anytime I walk in here, I see Rudy and he puts me at ease. He works with me and produces something I both love and wanted. He never disappoints. Highly recommend. ♡

As a person with autism and a low pain tolerance, piercings have always been something ive been scared of. however, every time ive come here everyone is so accommodating and understanding and is so patient with me as im also prone to fainting. amazing environment and ive never had ANYTHING go wrong with my piercings. the prices are amazing considering how easy and clean this parlor is. cannot recommend this place enough!!!!

Came here to get my Stepdaughter ears pierced. The service was super quick and extremely friendly. Everyone was professional and answered our questions. The art and atmosphere of this place is awesome! They have tattoo artists, a nice waiting room, a great selection of jewelry, QR codes available to check out the art styles of their professionals. The piercing price was a little over $100 including jewelry. Great place!

Stacie was my savior today! After a bad experience at another shop, I drove straight to Steel Addictions and she fixed me up! She was so kind and helpful, I will never go anywhere else for piercings!

The staff at Steel Addictions has never let me down. This time, I got a tattoo from Rudy and he was amazing! He listened to what I wanted and whipped up an awesome design while paying special mind to the way it would age and fade in the future. I cannot recommend Rudy enough! 5/5 stars every time I’ve been there for tattoos.By far one of the cleanest shops in Toledo. The artist Charlie there has done my first and only 5 tattoos and she knocks it out of the park every-time. The staff is patient, friendly, and very knowledgeable.

Went to Charlie for a couple tattoos she is phenomenal and so friendly and positive!I have gone to a few artist and she is so light handed and everything has stayed not even faded and its been about a year!Highly recommend her again and again cant wait to get another one!

I have received many piercing and have gone to many different piercers, and I can say that this is by far one of the best. I have received a paired nostril and a daith from 2 different piercers at Steel Addictions, and both times have been met with upmost care in keeping things sanitary and professional.Their jewelry is high-quality, and their attention to detail and precision is unmatched from any piercer I’ve seen thus far. I see some people complain about prices, but you are paying for the skill and expertise these piercers have! Cheap piercings are red flags! My only complaint is that they charge to change / downsize jewelry, but it’s understandable considering the amount of people that come in

Came to get matching tattoos with my friend and they both came out great and were done by Rudy, the color is a little faded so we will definitely be coming back for the free touch up in 4 weeks

Never left a review before but the girl who pierced me and my friend did an amazing job; pierced just my belly and ear, but was so professional but also personable, such a great experience. slightly messed up the placement of the lobe piercing but instead of calling it good enough and sending me on my way she re-pierced it no hesitation. also gave me the most straight/centered naval piercing ive ever seen. did a great job on my friends ears, got his perfect first try, as well as his septum ring. all placed perfectly, done easily and quickly. was super straight forward and confident in her abilities and skills, as well as communicated every step super well. over all great experience, super lovely piercer. totally forgot her name but the shorter one🤣 lovely piercer, ill be back again! :)

I recommend Rudy for all your tattoos! He’s very friendly and makes sure you are comfortable! I was getting a back tat and he made sure I was taken care of and even went out of his way to buy me and my friends nipple pasties so we were comfortable. I highly recommend!

Steve (Fish), words fail me, what a fantastic experience. It has been nearly 15 yrs. since my last tattoo, and 6 weeks ago Steve did a commemorative tattoo for me. I was so happy with it that I immediately booked to have some more work done, this was completed last weekend and again I am very pleased. I can guarantee I will be going back for more. He has a way of putting you at ease, he is very quick and accurate, particularly his line work and also has a very light touch which only comes from years of experience. Thank you, Steve.

Went yesterday for a walk-in tattoo with my best friend upon walking in everyone was very welcoming, our artist was Rudy, he was awesome not only with skill but personality. Made us both very comfortable.

Just saw Alexia to get my Daith and Tragus done as well as to change out some jewelry. Ill definitely come back here. Had a wonderful first experience and learned some much needed information that I can use for these new piercings and for any future ones as well. Wish I had the extra money to tip her because she did an AMAZING job.

Stacie was great! Got a dermal piercing on my face and my friend got her septum. She made everything super comfortable and shared her knowledge and stories with us! Not to mention it’s now almost 2 days later and I have absolutely no issues. No redness no swelling. I highly recommend!

My sister and i went to get matching tattoos on a whim, went to steel addictions hoping they’d have a spot for us, I feel like we hit the jackpot! Not only did the artist Zell welcome and accommodate us, he was very personable, very funny, efficient, actually found a flaw in the tattoo we chose, and fixed it! He added some personal touches to the the design, and the tattoos are absolutely amazing! I have several tattoos, but this one was done with extra precision and he made sure his lines were on point, his shading is perfect,and my sister and I literally have flawless tattoos!!! I highly recommend Zell if you’re looking to get some ink! He definitely will not disappoint!

Avoid. This place is unprofessional.I have gone to them twice in the last 6 months — before and after the birth of my daughter — to remove and put jewelry back in. Both times I had positive experiences.One of my jewelry fell out and I returned for a third time (in a matter of 6 months) to get the stud back in.Back story: My piercings are well over a decade old, not remembering where I got them. (Some I’ve had done in Toledo, a few in Columbus.)Nevertheless, because I couldn’t remember, she refused to help me. I had the same woman who I had a great experience with when I first had my jewelry removed before birth. She refused to help me this time.I do not recommend this place to others due to their inconsistency and unprofessionalism.

My friend and I did a couple walk in tattoos and we had the pleasure of being tattooed by Zell! He was very knowledgeable, super chill, and a true artist. It was also my friends first tattoo and he had her completely at ease.

I went in Tuesday morning conch piercing. I was greeted and the place was very clean. I got to pick out my own jewelry and Stacy sanitized my jewelry while prepping the room. She explained the whole process to me and overall was a good experience! I definitely plan on going back.

I went in initially to see if I could get my nipples pierced, and was referred by one of the piercers to the more experienced one. This was incredibly professional and nice, a lot of people would have said “no sorry” and left it at that. Raven was able to do them for me, and they look fantastic, I couldn’t be happier with how it came out. She gave me the confidence to go out without a shirt on now. She was incredibly nice and easy to talk to, the shop was clean, and felt comfortable to be in. I would recommend this shop to anyone, and I will be back for all of my piercing needs! I scheduled an appointment to have my septum pierced with Stacie. I was super anxious before getting it done as it had been a really long time since my last piercing. Stacies personality relaxed me and she made the experience a good one. She was even pumping me up before she pierced me, which was awesome. I felt bad because when she did finally pierce my septum, i jerked a little bit, but she still was able to make sure the piercing was straight and good looking! I will definitely be going back for my future piercings and I highly recommend seeing Stacie!

I got a tattoo by Charlie earlier this year and she did AMAZING. 10/10 recommend. I will definitely be getting more tattoos from her!

My tragus piercing experience with King was professional and explained all aspects thoroughly. I would recommend Steel Addictions as the atmosphere and locale is clean and inviting.

Overall I had a good experience. I got two helix piercings in January 2019 by Alexia and she did a wonderful job. These were my first piercings and I didn’t know a lot about them, so I definitely wish I would have been warned against getting a cartilage piercing in both ears at the same time. I slept on a pillow with a hole in it for over a year and one of my piercings still ended up tipped at quite an angle over time. Additionally, one of my earrings started to turn green a couple months after it was placed. They were very eager to replace it free of charge, but the replacement also turned green soon after. They told me it was an issue with the earring itself (not my piercing) and we ended up replacing it with a different style entirely.EDIT DECEMBER 2023: It’s been a few years since I initially posted this review. I have since gotten 8+ additional (healed) piercings with piercers who were members of the Association of Professional Piercers (APP). I just wanted to come back on here to say that if you’re thinking about getting a piercing, please go find an APP member!!I ended up having to take out one of these helix piercings that I got at Steel Addictions after 2 years because it was so crooked… which was a result of 1.) sleeping on it and 2.) not getting the piercing downsized. Did Steel Addictions tell me not to sleep on it? Absolutely! But they should have warned me not to get a piercing on both sides at the same time if I was a side sleeper. They also never told me to downsize the initial posts even after I went in there months post-swelling to get the defective jewelry switched out. At the end of the day, Steel Addictions did what was required to give me a safe and sterile piercing. But they did not set me up to heal these piercings successfully.Be weary of piercers that won’t tell you no—it’s better to be warned/refused/informed now than to spend years healing a piercing that you have to take out anyway. Piercings based on your individual anatomy are going to be much more successful than ones based upon pictures of ears that look nothing like yours. Your piercer should always be talking to you about how to take your anatomy into account. They should be asking if you wear glasses, if you use ear buds, if you’re a side sleeper, etc. if you’re trying to get a piercing that would interfere with those things. It’s been a few years since I was at Steel Addictions, so they might have changed their policies since then and I really hope this is the case. But to be better safe than sorry, like I said before, please see if you can locate an APP piercer first. They are trained on these exact things to set you up with piercings that you won’t have to remove years down the line.

The staff was very kind and explained everything, came in for a very irritated piercing and they switched it out for a good price and in a timely manner. I believe Stacey did it and would highly recommend her

His work is incredible, hes a creative artist and very helpful through the process of creating my tattoos.The establishment is nice and clean and offers piercing too. Everyone was kind as soon as we walked in. We were walk-ins, and they took care of us right away. My 15 year old got her nose pierced over the weekend, and the staff made us feel very welcome, as she was terrified, lol. Quick process. Clean facility. Good piercer. All around good staff. Ill more than likely go back for my own piercing soon.

This was absolutely the best piercing experience I’ve ever had, and after just recently going to an amateur piercer at a different shop, to do my septum, and having a horrible experience, I made an appointment with raven, who literally made this painless, I’ve officially named her my new piercer. Absolutely a must go to shop if you’re looking for any new piercing or tattoo! Very professional, very happy, clean atmosphere, all the way around a wonderful shop!

I came in to get jewelry for an industrial and triple helix that I had gotten pierced at another location. I was informed on all of my jewelry options and the man who helped me was extremely patient and definitely knew what he was talking about. They have tons of high quality jewelry options for many different piercings. He double checked all of my jewelry sizes with me and even held up industrial bars to my ear to make sure they would be the proper length for my ear. I have never had someone do either of those things for me and it was definitely appreciated. He even helped me better understand why I was having trouble with my helix piercings. I would absolutely recommend coming here!!! I have found a new place to go for my jewelry and my piercings

I went here about 4 months ago to get my nose piercing checked out that I got in georgia for 10 dollars, Alexia recommended I take it out and let it heal and come back to get it pierced. Once it healed I came back and got it pierced and have been in love with it ever since! Got my fourths pierced at a different shop and my right grew a huge bump and I went for help taking it out and Alexia was there again to guide me through what steps I needed to take and helped me switch some other piercings around. I will never go anywhere else to get pierced and highly recommend this place to anyone and everyone!! Thank you Steel Addictions and thank you Alexia!!

I went here and got my Septum pierced a month ago. I couldnt be happier, my piercer was very friendly, and they run a very clean shop. He took his time to try his best to make it straight the first time and succeeded. The price is definitely worth it to be made more comfortable and feel overall better that I picked them. I guess when youre that good you dont have to be polite. Sat there for too long without as little as someone will be right with you. The selection of nipple cages was meek and the jeweler was priced on the high-end. I wasnt even going to leave a review but Google asked how my visit was. Hopefully your experience is/ was better than mine.

I have only ever gotten pierced here, so I can’t speak to the service on tattoos, but I have had a great experience with all my piercings (I have received 3 here, all done by different piercers). The piercers I have been seen by have done a great job of helping me pick jewelry, making me feel comfortable, and giving me piercings that I have had no issues in healing. I recommend them to most people looking for piercings, and plan to go back for future ones.

I had the best piercing experience with Alexia. She is amazing at what she does. She was very thorough and made sure that the piercings came out better than I had expected. I was able to watch the sterilization process and was shown the chemical indication strip post sterilization. She is a true professional and has a real passion for what she does. Im from Pittsburgh inToledo on business. Ive Been wanting to get my other nostril pierced so I googled places and this came up i booked because of the experience stated and $25 price tag for piercing plus jewelry starting @ $20. I made appt which was forced to put a card on file and went. Staff was ok ignored me for 20 after my scheduled time but when picking jewelry was told a tiny cubic zirconia stud would be 115 ish now I asked is it real gold and was told yes reluctantly paid the $123 but looks good got back to hotel and noticed the entire metal under the tiny cz was gray I feel robbed but ya live and learn other places are waaayyyyyy cheaper they rob you on the terrible quality jewelry go in person and get a quote first!!

I had an absolutely incredible experience at Steel Addictions- Jacob brought my dream tattoo to life! Jacob is professional, kind, and just incredibly great to be around making the whole experience even more enjoyable! His talent is incredible and I cannot recommend him enough. The shop is incredibly clean and inviting- everyone there is phenomenal.

I was very excited to get my piercing done here (Medusa) only to be really let down. I’ve tried to go back in and get it looked it because at one point it was totally embedded but the piercer there refused to look at it because they weren’t doing oral piercings due to Covid (when I had just got mine done the week before there) and I would have to wait a week to see whoever pierced mine. I ended up having to go to another to shop to get it fixed up and it finally started healing. It was also crazy expensive too about $85 + tip so about $100. I’ve been to 4 piercing shops in Toledo and this one is the most expensive I’ve been too. I honestly feel robbed because in the end the jewelry I paid so much for had to be replaced because it was too short.

I definitely do not recommend them steel addictions. I went in to get my ears repierced. Only one of them needed a needle stuck through. They had no prices laid out. The jewelry is all stupid expensive. The cost was $120, insanely overpriced and the piercing is crooked and doesnt match my other one. There was already a closed up hole that was a perfect match to my other ear, straight and all but no they screwed me over.

I have been getting piercings done at steel addictions for the last 5-7 years. They have pierced my nose, daith, tragus etc. I have never had issues with healing ever. I had been to other shops for other piercings and had so many issues with the healing process which ended with me having to remove them. I have never had issues at steel addictions with any of that and will continue to go here for all piercings. Just had my nose pierced last weekend and its doing so well no swelling or any other issues. Highly recommend!

Overall the act of getting it pierced was great yet the earrings were expensive. For the earrings being so expensive, not even 3 months after the piercing they broke. The needle completely snapped off the snake earring I had.

Came to get my nose pierced from Brandi she was so sweet and did such a good job she showed me that everything she was using was all clean and made sure I was ready before she did anything will definitely be coming back to see her for any other piercings!!

Wonderful! I recently had my cartilage triple pierced, and the women piercer was incredible. Everything was sterile, they even had an autoclave to sterilize all utensils used. I am very satisfied with how my piercing turned out. I showed her a picture of what I wanted and she adjusted the picture to work with my ear, and I love it! Would definitely recommend for piercings and would go back if I wanted another one.

Just went in today to get my nipples done. Amazing place and the piercer Raven is outstanding! She really knows what shes doing and makes it fun and comfortable! I will definitely be going to her for all my other piercing needs!!!

Very attentive staff. It had been years since Id had any kind of piercing and I wanted to get two. They were very knowledgeable about what they were doing and very compassionate when I realized I actually hadnt eaten recently and needed a moment to regain equilibrium before moving forward. Definitely would go back.

I went in for some nipple peircings..i was very nervous had always wanted to do it but had been too scared for years. The guy definitely was very respectful and professional and i felt very comfortable. Though expensive at $100 per set of nipple peircings i think it was well worth it i know it was done right and it was done very professionally and i appreciate good service like that with such a personal purchase.

We had three of us come in for a Walk in and they were able to take us which was great. We all got matching tattoos. The overall tattoo quality seems great it was just a bit pricey especially since its a small word tattoo on our shoulder blade... Each tattoo was supposed to be $55 but after taxes came out to $223? Nearly $60 in fees... Overall a good experience.

Love my new piercings, Double forward helix. Tracci was super cool, nice, and made sure they were in the right spot and not just stabbing me especially considering I couldnt really see the placement. Going back soon to add the tragus piercing to the same ear. I was greeted right away when I entered by one of the tattoo artists and everyone seemed very helpful and welcoming. Highly recommend this place!!

Alexia did my first two “real piercings” my helix and nose,she did an amazing job!! She was very funny and made sure to make me comfortable. She showed me how she sterilized everything, and did a wonderful job!

Everyone seemed pretty friendly. It was a busy day for them so alot of people in a small area. But other than that, no complaints.

I called to scheduled an appointment for my 16 year old daughter and after driving 45 minutes, I was told by them that I needed her birth certificate. Since we could not go back home to bring the birth certificate they cancel that appointment. Once driving, I received a notification of a charge of $25.00 from them. When I called, they advised that it was because the appointment was cancelled. Needless to say, we will never go back. I do not recommend this place unless you want to give them free money.

Went to steel addictions for the first time today for a cartilage piercing and love it! The staff were all very friendly and professional, and the building was welcoming and very clean. Will definitely be coming back for more!!

King did my vertical lander today and he was so professional, even very good with sales and up charging! He perfected placement before moving forward and made me feel very safe and calm! Always a pleasure visiting these guys!

If youre going in to get a piercing then youll get priority and the piercer is professional in what he does. If I were reviewing the piercer alone he probably would get 4 to 5 stars. But if you are looking to buy new jewelry or looking to buy a staple for work related reasons you should expect to be passed up by anyone who is going in to get a piercing.I sat around and waited for around 30 minutes while people walked in and got taken care of before me, eventually I grew tired of waiting and went to Hot Topic in the mall.

I always love going to this place! They care and help me out a lot. I have had 6 peircings from this place and they turn out great! My intentions are to get one more piercing and a tattoo and I will be going here! It is also nice know where my metal comes from considering they make their jewelry right in back and sterilize it right in front of you.

Came in to get my septum pierced and it turned out great! Aaron was my piercer and he was chill and made the process easy. Everything felt clean and sanitary.

Ive actually gotten a couple tattoos here. The staff has always been nothing but courteous and they are very knowledgeable. I highly recommend Jacob Martin...hes my tattoo guy...hes done three for me and Id pretty much follow him wherever he goes...

I have gotten all my piercings done at Steel Addictions. The staff is knowledgable, the piercers make you feel comfortable and calm. If anything goes wrong with your piercing (every person reacts differently to a piercing) you can come back and they can change/adjust/take out your jewelery for free. They take care of customers in a timely fashion while still giving each customer one on one time which makes you feel comfortable. A+

I got my first daith percing here, and it hasnt caused me any problems and looks amazing. My only problem was that the percing took a while to get it through and was very painful (I know it is supposed to hurt but because of how long they took it was more pain then necessary). Overall, I highly recommend. Very sanitary.

I went for my naval piercing and the guy who did it was rude. My friends were making me laugh while he was trying to mark where the piercing goes, and he got really irritated until they left the room. He didnt tell me any of the aftercare stuff unless I asked a specific question. Im lucky I went with my friend when she got hers at a better place, or I wouldnt know what I should and shouldnt do. He also made fun of me for my low pain tolerance and for wanting a piercing in the first place. This was a week ago. Last night, the stone fell out of my belly button ring while I was sleeping. Their handmade jewelry doesnt seem to be worth the $72 I paid to have it inserted into my body. I would recommend going somewhere else for any piercings.

Took my daughter to get her ears pierced super friendly booked online it was $50 ok not bad but they had her pick out her small studs (no prices listed) I checked out they were $120 not happy about that at all shes 8 thats a bit much for first earrings

Got a tattoo a few months ago at a different place, it faded and I hated it. Ben went over my lettering and added some flowers/leaves. I am absolutely in love with it now, I cant thank him enough!! Would highly recommend!

I went in for a specialty piercing, I called in advance to see if they could do the piercing, and they said yes they could. When I got there, it was a whole different matter entirely. The girl was rude, and said that they dont do those kinds of piercings.Then why say yes over the phone, and wasted my gas and time??!!!

My tattoo I got there was great and very beautiful. The people were very friendly and comforted me through the whole process. Only problem I have is that they are a bit overpriced. I paid way more for this small tattoo than I should have. Its not a very detailed or complecated design and its not that big but I was charged a lot more. next tattoo will not be here. But I do recommend peircings here they did great with my piercing

I got a small tattoo done by steve fish and the line work and attention to detail is fantastic. the cool, down to earth employees made made me feel welcome and comfortable while i was there. when i get my portrait and realistic tattoos done in the future, steve fish is who Im going to.

It was ok. The only bad thing is if they have people ahead of you then you have to wait by the door until someone is available. They need more room in there. Other than that the staff was very friendly and courteous.

I got my first tattoo here almost two months ago. I was only getting a small lizard behind my ear and he took two hours just to get it ready. Me and my boyfriend almost left because he was taking so long just for a little tattoo. It turned out fine but now there is a dry white bump on a part of it. Im not sure if he did something wrong or if its just a scab. It doesnt hurt but its really annoying, it doesnt look good. I feel like it should have been done scabbing by now Im not sure whats wrong with it.

Ive gotten two tattoos from them. Different people both times, Jeff was my favorite! My friend got one at the same time by Steven. Both were dope af. 10/10 recommend.

Just got my septum pierced by Tracci King, and I would HIGHLY recommend him and this place in general. Theyre friendly, quick, reasonably priced, and clean. Couldnt have been better.

Very overpriced (60 for a single piercing??!!) with slow and inattentive staff. You would think high price= high quality but that just isnt the case. Next time I will save myself the time, money and aggravation and go ANYWHERE else. Would NOT recommend..

Paid $75 for a nipple piercing for the wrong size bar to be put in twice, and the piercer king obviously doesnt know what hes doing, he rushed through the whole process, wouldnt reccomend, definitely wont be coming in to get my sleeve finished.

Best place for a warm welcome atmosphere went to go get my toung pierced and raven made it 100% worth it pretty much no pain and while in there got a quote on 4 tattoos for my girlfriend for only $250 definitely getting that done

Had to wait forever to be seen, piercing was way overpriced ($130 for some small studs), piercer put the earrings on UNEVEN, rushed us out of her office and no one gave us instructions or told us anything about aftercare, we had to ask for a pamphlet.

Tattoo I got there turned out bad. When I called to get a touch up I was told that the artist still worked there but no longer did tattoos. I called multiple times after that to try n get they to help me out somehow. Long story short I had to go elsewhere.
