Jacob the owner is an amazing artist. He did my very first tattoo. It took me 7 years to plan this tattoo out exactly how I wanted it. Jacob took my idea and ran with it. He was very friendly, knowledgeable, and really did quality work. 100% will be coming back!

Brittney is soo amazing, her personality, professionalism and just being around her makes me always want to go back to her!! She has done all my piercings. B is the best piercer in topeka!!! In this last year she has helped me completely transform my ears! She has the best eye for custom curations and designs. She is honest about anatomy and always has a backup plan if something doesn’t work out, she is always quick to respond if I ever have any issues with healing, always suggests ideas to assist in making healing painless and easy, and is always quick when ordering new jewelry for custom curations. All of her jewelry is high quality that makes healing a breeze. She also takes extra care to ensure that everything is super clean and sterilized, even with a simple jewelry change. I am healing some more new piercings but I cannot wait to finish off the ideas we have came up with and show off all of her amazing work!!! Don’t go to anyone else!!! Let B poke you!!! I went to the mall location with appt with a piercer She was Rude from the moment I walked in before saying a word to me she was making comments to her co worker about us. Then proceeded to insult me by making fun. Never have I experienced such immature behavior from another adult. Extremely unprofessional. I ended up going elsewhere thank God and had a great experience with someone else

Lolllll saw they got a place opened in the mall.. just wanted to say i went in on my birthday last year to get a simple dragonfly and the lady at the front desk was acting like it was some crime that I had came in and asked for that… she told me to leave and to message the place on Facebook which I did only to be left on delivered for 3 hours on my birthday only for them to respond with “nope can’t do it” found me a way better place that doesn’t do dotty ahhh line work so just a heads up, lol if you go in be ready to get judged and told no for something simple even 🤣

Do not recommend wanted to check out the shop and tried to come in for a piercing and immediately after stepping in staff were rude and unprofessional told me my age was questionable and started barking orders to prove i had the right anatomy laughed saying even fine line wouldnt pierce me jokes on them I absolutely love the piercer at fine line but for a tattoo parlor they seemed very judgmental and I dont think they intended to peirce me the moment they started talking absolutely horrible experience

Absolute Tattoo has the most talented artists! Jake did an incredible Military piece on my husbeast. Jodie has been working on a massive back piece/coverup on myself.

Jacob is one of the best tattoo artists in the area! I went in a couple days before Friday the 13th to see if they had any more openings for their Friday the 13th special, and he made time for me right at opening! He also knocked out the piece I chose in a little less than half an hour, and it looks great! I also had a forearm piece done by him in the past, and he even stayed over past closing time to finish it! Plus I have had most of my sleeve work done by Qi, and she has done a fantastic job as well. If you want quality tattoos youll be proud to show off, go to Absolute. Would highly recommend!

The lady who did my nieces piercing did an amazing job. She explained how to care for the piercing properly and the what not to dos. Staff was great and professional. Clean place and would definitely refer others. Thanks Absolute!

Ive gone to see Jodie 3 times now for my tattoos. Shes extremely talented and personable! My husband and I got matching owl tattoos the first time we saw her. The second time she did a portrait of my cat that was also a cover up. And the third time was for their Friday the 13th special! It was extremely busy and the wait time was a bit long but was totally worth it for the quality! I have two appointments currently scheduled and will continue to return! Ive also gone to see Brittany for nipple and a lip piercing! Shes great as well and made me feel comfortable during the whole process! Ive had a great experience every time Ive been go the shop!

Jake has been working a sleeve for me and has been doing a phenomenal job. He really likes to work with his customers and dig into what they want while also giving them his expert advice. His staff is extremely courteous and friendly. Very happy to have Jake work on my arm

I got my nose pierced today and I absolutely love it! My appointment was at 3 and I was out within 10 minutes. Brittany was amazing at explaining the process and was quick! Love the choices of jewelry! Definitely will be going back!

Absolutely loved the staff and had an awesome experience. Got a quarter sleeve done by Jodie and couldnt be happier with the results. This is the only shop I will go to in town, and this is where I recommend that people go to.

Jacob is the best tattoo artist around! The shop is clean and staff are amazing and helpful! Jacob goes above and beyond to make you feel comfortable and happy with the design. I’ve gotten tattoos regrettably at other shops and during the tattoo it was extremely uncomfortable and hurt. I have had my biggest tattoos done by Jacob and they look the best, and he is so gentle I could actually fall asleep it is so relaxing. Highly recommend, I won’t be going anywhere else ever again!

Jake did a great job on a lion/peacock feather piece that I have been waiting to get done for a few years. I gave him a few ideas of what I was wanting and he created something beautiful that has the sentimental value that I needed from the tattoo. This will be the only place I go to in the future. His attention to detail is on point and he takes pride in the quality of his work. Good vibes in his shop also from all the staff. Professional and down to earth combined. Highly recommend!

We had called several places trying to find someone to pierce my daughter’s ear (ear cartilage). Everyone would tell us, they have to be 13 or 14 with parent consent. My daughter will be 13 in just a couple months, but you know when you want something done, you don’t want to wait months for it to happen. We drive to Absolute Tattoo. We walked in the door, they were so friendly and professional. We talked about things and they told us to be back in 2 hours. We went back. The girl that did the piercing was awesome!! Super gentle, explained everything, clean, and she made my daughters weekend! Thank you so much!!!

Me, my daughter, and my sister came in to get sunflower tattoos to honor my mother, who had passed 6 days previous. Jake not only accommodated us, he talked to us and got a really good feel as to who we were and why we were there. The whole staff was awesome! I will definitely be back!

Went to Absolute Tattoo about 2 years ago a got a tattoo done by Jodi. She did an amazing job of capturing the design I wanted. I live two hours away now and still scheduled my next tattoo with Absolute Tattoo! Totally worth the drive! I recommended them to anyone that’s looking for a great tattoo parlor with friendly staff and a clean environment!

I got my first tattoo yesterday! I wanted something which was in my native language(indian) and loved the designs Jodie created.I appreciate the time spent on creating the designs until I was satisfied and ready.It went effortless.Highly recommend this place and a special shoutout to Jodie.

I found the most beautiful Celtic cross on the Internet and went to Absolute on a recommendation from a friend. Jodie was my artist and I hoped she could at least get close to the pic that I forwarded to her.She did and incredible job and made what I thought was a beautiful, perfect cross look even better. She is amazing.I have several tattoos from numerous places across the country but this was by far the best work I have had done.

Jacob did a killer job on our tattoos! He took his time, offered a fair price, and his customer service was impeccable. My daughter was nervous at first but he did an amazing job calming her fears, chatting with us about the history of tattooing, and made the experience unforgettable. We will be coming back!!!+

I have 3 tattoos and all 3 came from here. The staff are amazing, and I recommend this place so much that I got a free shirt the last time I came! For every tattoo I got i brought someone with me, and told the owner that as always I would be back. I refuse to go anywhere else and I refuse to let anyone I know go anywhere else. Its the best. Update: 5 tattoos of mine and my fiancé got their first with my recommendation! He loves his too! Still wont go anywhere else!!

This is just the first session however I am very pleased with the out come so far. Great on detail. They all have great personalities. Great environment. And jake made sure I was comfortable the whole session. I have had three tattoos from three different shops before I went to absolute. Now I will never go anywhere else. Highly recommended. I went to Absolute to get my first tattoo, and I felt right at home. Being only 17 at the time, I was a little skeptical of tattoos and things like that, but my mom and I went to Absolute and loved the place. The workers were clean, professional, and really fun to be around. I was only there for about an hour, and it was an experience that I will never forget. Amazing family feel to the place. And the artwork was exactly what I asked for. I even (accidentally) picked at my tattoo a little bit and its faded in those places, but the owner said I could come back anytime and get it touched up for no charge because I got it done there. Im definitely going to Absolute again!

Jake is the best artist around. I got a half sleeve from him and he touched up my other one making it 100x better. He took an idea that I had and turned it into a wicked cool tat. His shading and realism is hard to beat. Very easy to work with.

Recently visited Absolute for the 1st time after having heard good things. Got a piece on the back of my hand (first hand tat). Jodie was my artist and did a phenomenal job- I left totally satisfied.Where they really set themselves apart was with customer service. This was my first hand piece and I work in a restaraunt. I slacked a little on my aftercare and had a tough heal (not uncommon for hand tats). I hit these guys up with more than my fair share of questions/concerns and they were always more than happy to help. Ultimately the owner Jake gave me his personal number and when my hand was ready, he gladly touched me up free of charge (though I always encourage you tip your artists!)Fantastic experience. These are professional artists that don’t slack on customer service and live up to the hype. Will definitely return.

I started a new piece at Absolute Tattoo with Jacob and the experience was excellent and refreshing. The atmosphere is inviting and friendly. The attention to detail in the work was intense! From gathering information, finishing the design, placement and execution; great care was taken at every step to make sure that everything was perfect. That level of care is both welcome and necessary when you are making an enhancement to your body that you will live with for the rest of your life. If youre not used to this experience, be patient with the process. The resulting outcome will be worth it. I will be returning soon. I will highly recommend this shop to others.

I absolutely love this place. The amazing designs and creativity of this place is top notch. By far is very professional. When there is a cover up or a very artistic design that no one will touch, you an always count on em to pull off the most amazing artwork. If you are looking get some work done, I promise Absolute Tattoo will not disappoint, and you will be satisfied with not only their work but also your experience..

I had the best experience with Brittany for my Septum piercing, she was very good at explaining the process of it.

Artists are skilled but service is terrible, attempting to request some examples of an artists work will not be honored, attempting to get a quote is unlikely, attempting to get a concept design is a definite no with them literally saying “our artists will only do a rough sketch on an iPad the night before or day of before beginning the tattoo, for $150/hour rounded up”. Attempting to book an appointment requires 4-5 months of waiting. Either the person manning the email and phone are just extremely unprofessional or they simply lack any concept of courtesy and don’t care.While I’ve seen good work from others in the community, I would never get a tattoo from this place, their service is just that atrocious. And while the price of $150/h is fair, I expect to receive a simple concept design and proper customer service.

Brittany is the BEST for ALL piercing needs! She has done some of mine and the placement is perfect! She’s VERY CLEAN and very nice! Thank you again! See you when I’m back in town for who knows what next!

I have had all but five of my twenty-four tattoos done by Jodie at Absolute, including my first. I have also gotten a lip piercing from Miss Brittany. Dope people, insanely stellar artwork, and a killer atmosphere. Would Recommend Absolute to anybody and everybody for all body piercing and tattoo desires.

Went in for a stave piece inspired by my great grandfather. A bit of the old world to help guide me through this one. Im very glad my path led me to Absolute Tattoo here in Topeka. I will not be going anywhere else so long as this shop is open. Wonderful work, wonderful people, and an overall great atmosphere.

I LOVED my experience at absolute with Jodie! Honestly was expecting this tattoo to be painful and she was so gentle it was fantastic! My rib piece looks phenomenal and I will definitely be back and be recommending this shop to all of my friends!

Jacob has done all three of my tattoos and I refuse to let anyone else put ink on me. He always does great work and is a spectacular person overall. Fun to talk to and has interesting stories. Stellar people, stellar work, stellar value.

(Added stars because of this) 🙂August 2016 - It had been 11 years since my first tattoo and Im not originally from Topeka. I had heard of this place from an acquaintance so I went in to get a quote. I had an idea of what I wanted and showed the receptionist a Google image for comparison. She gave me an estimated time frame for the tattoo and we set my appointment for 3 weeks out.The day arrived and I showed up a few minutes early. But then I had to wait an hour and a half as the guy was still working on someone else! They offered to reschedule me but I had waited so long I just wanted to get my tattoo! I had asked to see my design but she didnt have it at the front desk, he had it at his station. So I didnt see it until right before he was slapping it on my arm in a hurry to finish at closing time. So I figured he would adjust the time I had waited, but nope, still gave me the 3 hour price. By then I didnt argue, I was ready to get out of there.Lesson learned: speak up. About design, price, and experience.Oh and I have since found a different place/tattooist that I like enough for repeat business and possibly a cover up soon.

Everyone here is AFreakingMAZING! Its a FUN, FRIENDLY atmosphere!!! I literally have ZERO complaints!!!Seriously, though. Jake and his associates are genuinely a kind, caring, creative,fun loving bunch that are down to earth and know there craft.The prices are fair and the art is Absolutely Stellar!I highly recommend going and checking them out! This is the only place to get a tattoo in Topeka, Brittany, Jake and Jodi are amazing people. When it comes to custom work, Jake is killer! His artistic ability is through the roof. If you are haveing trouble figuring out what you want Jake can help you and even give you some ideas of his own that would really surprise you. I have 1 sleeve that Jake has nearly completed and still more work to come, I would never dream of going to another Artist! Jake at Absolute tattoo is the best! I have even had Jodi do some touch ups on an 18yr old tattoo and she made it look like it was brand new, her lines are crisp and clean and attention to detail was amazing.

I had been wanting to get a specific tattoo for a few weeks, something simple, yet could never find the time. Then I finally had a day where my shift had been cancelled (healthcare agency) and I knew I needed to take advantage of that day and finally get my tattoo done. After walking into Absolute Tattoo and explaining that that was the only day I had open and was desperately wanting to get it done the receptionist told me there were no openings at the moment but she would see if she could make something happen. She asked for my phone number and low and behold about an hour after I left she called and asked if I could make it back up there because she had found a spot to get me in. Needless to say I got my tattoo that evening and it turned out wonderful. The artist even took the time to listen to the type of writing style I wanted and hand drew it out based off of what I had explained to him. I would highly recommend Absolute Tattoo as they will make sure they give you what you want, paying attention to every detail.

Beyond amazing! The shop & staff were very nice. Jodi(could be spelling wrong) is amazing, she will be the one i go to everytime! Made me feel comfortable wasnt mean or in any way made it feel awkward. My first tattoo was for my son i lost so was kinda hard but something i needed. Walked in with no appointment and wanted to get a full detailed upper arm tattoo. The owner didnt even think twice he just began helping me. Everyone there is incredibly friendly. And of course to top it off he did an insane job on it! I couldnt be more happy with the outcome! After this experience I wont go anywhere else but here! Highly recommend to everyone!

I can not remember the artist name who did my tattoo but he was the artist with long hair and absolutely killed it. I did a walk in appointment and it was my first tattoo. He did my tattoo above and beyond any expectation I had. Will forever recommend this tattoo shop. Good prices, super friendly and want to do they best they can for you!

Absolute Tattoo celebrated it`s 10 year anniversary on Sat with drawings, giveaways, contests, a food truck and lively conversation! I think all in attendance had a great time! The kids were kept busy with an obstacle course and jump house as the adults mingled,,,GREAT TIME!!

Been here for piercings. They make sure youre happy with placement, they explain the process, theyre clean and they explain the aftercare very well; they also give you sea salt. Also, if you have a problem with something theyll take care of you! I went to another place in Topeka and the lady was very cold and she explained nothing!

I called to set up an appointment and get pricing for a piercing but when they told me the price I was politely trying to turn them down and thank them for their time when I was very rudely hung up on by the girl who answered the phone. The overpricing I can look past, but to be so rude as to hang up on a potential customer? I will never use this business because of the impolite customer service alone.

After many years of trying to find an artist to do some coverup work and others giving nonsense ideas jake was very excited and eager to start on mine after I told him what I wanted done and it looks great. Jodie has done one for the wife and myself and very awesome and very friendly both do awesome work. This is the only place Ill go to get my work done.

In 2017, I paid and talked with the owner for months about the tattoo I wanted, to honor my dying mother, he said he was working on it. I showed up for the appointment, he had NOTHING planned out and sketched the design in 5 min. I was so shocked and upset, but I wanted it before my mother passed so I went through with it and even tipped him.Completely disappointing.Recently, this shop was exposed for tattooing racial slurs on people’s bodies as well, like the N word on a white guy.Truly disappointed that I gave them my hard earned money, never going back. There are plenty of other tattoo shops in Topeka that actually have values.

Yeah been trying to get a cover-up tatt did the online consultation and sent them several photos and no response or reply. So Ill obviously be finding a different tattoo shop, not pleased with them at all, guess they dont want return business. Yeah they post that but leave out all the messages I replied back after I called and was told they had no messages from me. Whatever guess all my money will find another tattoo shop

It didn’t take very long to fill out paper work and to get back to the piercing area. Everyone was really friendly and nice. The piercing process was fast easy and smooth. I would totally go back there again for another piercing.

Johnny has done 4 out of my 5 tattoos. He did my first tattoo. I was skeptical because Id seen images of the tattoo I wanted that were done poorly. He assured me that it would turn out amazing, and he was right. It blew my mind. Every since then, hes my go to guy. He designed one of my tattoos and it turned out wonderfully. I now live in Omaha, Nebraska and would still rather drive to Topeka for him than go anywhere else.

Absolute Tattoo provided great customer service, a chill atmosphere, and efficient service. The pricing of my service however (cartilage piercing) seemed overpriced in my opinion.

Horrible customer service. They don’t respond to emails or message’s they’ll just look at them and disregard them. The lady who answers the phones is very rude and aggressive with customers.
