Olympus Ink Tattoo

The best shop for tattoos in Topeka! They do amazing work and are some of the nicest artists I’ve ever met. I have over 140 hours of work done from this shop and a few of the work that’s been done has won awards at tattoo conventions!

I have gotten 2 big pieces done by Dave and one by another artist (sorry I am bad with names). The first one I got was a sitting for 6 hours for the whole outline and some color, second setting was another 6 hrs for more color and the final session was 4 hours all of it on my shoulder and down my back. Dave was so gentle and lighthanded I was actually falling asleep. He was so respectful and nice and his upbeat attitude, he made the nervousnous disappear the second I sat in the chair. It was my first big tattoo and I took a chance with Dave and I wouldnt go anywhere where else since then he finished my dads memorial piece on my right forearm as my Pink Floyd, Another Brink in the Wall, Wish you Were Here, Darkside of the Moon and Blue Oyster Cult Dont Fear the Reaper. I have had more complaints on my arm then I could ever imagine and its the most important one I have one me so far. His apprentice (at the time) did a beautiful lotus blossom for my daughter. Olympus Ink is where I tell all my ppl to go and WILL be the only place I WILL ever go to get all my tattoos as well as my sons first tattoo. My daughter wanted a tattoo to commemorate her father’s passing and Dave had some extra time. We contacted the studio and came in with a simple idea. Dave was professional, quick and reasonable in price. He also did a great job. This tattoo is almost 2 years old and wearing well. He is quite simply the best in Topeka.

Came here with my partner to get matching pieces, worked with the amazing artist Fana. She was so friendly and helpful, does fast bold clean lines, and was so much fun to sit and chat with. Everyone in the studio was working on something incredible. It was a beautiful shop, incredibly clean and we both got such great pieces. For sure going to come back here for our next ones!

Olympus Ink is exactly what you want when looking at getting literally the perfect tattoo done. EXTREMELY talented artist, amazing environment and even better staff. I personally drive 6 hours from Illinois just to get tattooed by Dave. It’s not just a tattoo but also a session to hangout and relax while getting an amazing piece of work done by a highly talented artist. I will continue 12 hour round trips just to get work done here!

Ive had multiple tattoos done at Olympus Ink, by different artists. The shop has been clean and tidy everytime Ive been in there. Everyone is welcoming and pleasant to interact with. I recommend them to everyone and plan to be back when Im ready for more ink. Thanks for such stellar service!

So, let me start off by I’ve been tattooed by multiple artists in this shop. They are all phenomenal, if you want color work, go to Dave! They are super professional. The only thing that’s different about other shops is they are a cash only business. They do have an ATM in the building! Check the pic! Dave’s work is phenomenal!

On May 18th, I got a tattoo from Dave Parrett. I got referred to him from some coworkers of mine and they raved about his talent so when he had open time, I jumped on the opportunity. I had an idea of what I wanted and I gave him creative discretion for the drawing. He blew my mind with the outcome. I get compliments on it and I plan to have him do a bigger tattoo on my calf because not only is he a talented artist but he is also not heavy handed at all when tattooing. He makes you feel comfortable and more than just a customer in my opinion.

Let’s save you some time…they don’t do piercings, but they do recommend Ad Astra in Lawrence, KS as a clean reputable shop. 😅Back to Olymus Ink. 😊 I have been seeing Lindsay “Bugg” Hupp who is the current apprentice artist. I have to say I’m pleased with my overall experience as a whole! Everyone is very interested in supporting each other and show interest in each others work. I think the community and vibe of the shop is very important as a highly sensitive person!Bugg was very professional and did an amazing job on both my tattoos. She’s just starting out, but has some very impressive work! Her mentor Dave has a lot of experience and does beautiful work as well. I’m very happy with the placement and line work on my thighs. I already have another appointment scheduled.Cash only. They offer snacks and drinks which is nice! 🥰

I came for Taylor’s flash event, and will definitely be coming back! Her line work is solid and steady. She’s super sweet, takes her time, makes sure you’re comfortable. I love the new tat and can’t wait to see what kind of art she is creating in the future!!

Olympus Ink is by far the best tattoo shop in town. They have such a welcoming environment and everyone is so kind. All of the artists are so talented, no matter who you go with youre leaving with quality art.

I got this beautiful tattoo on Halloween in 2015. He got it done in the amount of time it took to watch my favorite Halloween movie, hocus pocus. It has been touched up once, for free of course. Clean and professional environment! The owner Dave has been tattooing for over 10 years and his work is immaculate! Bugg is another artist there who has unique art and she books a few weeks out, so it’s easy to get in! Fana’s line work is top tier! All of the artists there are friendly and treat customers with respect. They also offer walk-in’s on Thursdays and throughout the week depending on availability. By far the best shop I’ve been to! 12/10 recommend

Me and my wife got our first tattoo from Olympus. the artist who worked with us was Lindsay Bug. She was brilliant since it was our first tattoo we both were really nervous but how she handled the situation was just brilliant, I would definitely recommend Bugg for the lettering tattoo she did a really good job, and we both were really satisfied with the work she did, overall the experience and the service was perfect. I would definitely recommend to check them out.

My mom and I recently got tattoos and they are everything we could have asked for! I got my thigh and the birds on my arm done here recently by Liam. He was AMAZING! They got me in super quick, the pricing was super reasonable and he put so much time and detail into his work. I told him to make the one on my thigh his own and just have fun with it and it turned out cooler than I could have ever pictured! Definitely my new go to tat spot for sure!

I just got my forearm tattooed by Lindsay and it came out absolutely amazing. This was my first time here and the shop was clean and looked very nice everyone seemed very friendly. I had been in contact with Lindsay for the past month planning this tattoo and I could not be happier! I already have plans to go back for 2 more pieces by her and Im so excited to continue working with Olympus.

Fana was amazing! I haven’t gotten a tattoo in almost 20 years. She made me feel comfortable even though I was so confused about what I wanted, I wanted several tattoos but couldn’t figure out what I wanted on the other two. The one that she did do was so amazing I will come back for the other two I just need to figure out the design and where to put them. This place is very clean and very professional, I will definitely come back to her, she made me feel so comfortable !

Awesome staff. They actually will call u back if someone cancels there session an get u in for smaller tattoos. Emily, the one who did my tattoo ( an my future tattoos) was excellent. Wasnt nervous that she was gonna make a mistake . Loving my tattoo an will definitely be returning.

Ive been in to see Taylor twice, once to have my jewelry changed out and the second time to have my flat and conch pierced. Taylor made me feel very comfortable and at ease. She is very professional and has a great eye for how different piercings would work on my personal ear shape. I will happily recommend her to anyone looking for a piercing. Plus the shop is always clean and bright with fun music. Overall its a comfortable and aesthetically pleasing atmosphere.

I dont know about the business but Tattoo Dave is the second worst tattoo artist Ive ever had tattoo me. He messed up the entire thing, charged me 100 dollars an hour but was slow (I got artists that can do twice the work in half the time for the same price). He messed up the eyes really bad and now Ive had this tattoo for years and its not getting any better. I do not recommend you EVER letting tattoo Dave touch you unless you want a horrible tattoo forever.

Emilie was so fantastic to work with! She was so flexible and really made my tattoo special. I was in awe when I saw what she came up with and how it turned out on skin. I knew she was going to do a great job but its over the top. Im obsessed with it and I cannot wait to get back in and have her leave her mark on me again! Her lines were so clean and she is so pleasant to sit and chat with.

Bugg is awesome and her work is phenomenal. Almost finished with my sleeve of flowers, her designs were even better than what I had pictured.

I liked the drawing but the artist Liam is a very slow tattoo artist I feel he said he could do my cover up and didn’t know what he was doing . So now I have to find a new place to get my cover up covered up I feel they charge way too much for the work I got done not happy with it at all
