Layer 3 Collective

From the start, I’ve had an outstanding experience at Layer 3. The consultation was easy to setup through their website, the artist (Kayla Camp) was friendly, accommodating and professional, showing so much interest and excitement towards the design I wanted that she went over the allotted time given for the consult. Her communication in the design phase was excellent and the patience she showed as we played out the design on my arm the day of the tattoo was incredible! I’m only half way done and can’t wait to go back and finish the piece.

Had a half sleeve done by Chris. The entire experience was extremely straightforward and simple. The entire Layer 3 staff are super friendly and welcoming.As far as the tat goes, Chris absolutely knocked it out of the park! Would absolutely recommend Chris and any of the Layer 3 artists.Best first tat ever Chris. Thanks!

Absolute 10/10 experience with the artist Sam!! The shop was super fast with communications via email and got us in last minute. Sam was so friendly, accommodating, kind, diligent and just a real treat to be around. During our tattoos we laughed, shared thoughts, watched movies and jammed to music. It was such a comfortable and welcoming environment and its all thanks to the artists and staff that work there! Thank you again Sam and L3!!

Went in yesterday to get my nose and my conch pierced and I am absolutely obsessed. I got to work with Coda who did a fantastic job making sure I was comfortable and informed of the proper care for both of the piercings. The process went so smooth and Im in love with my new pokes. Afterward they helped me to change out the jewelry on my rook and daith that they also did for me a few weeks ago and they look gorgeous. 10/10 would go again.

I had a great experience with Ronie. She is a great artist and had me feel welcomed. I love how she worked with me on the design of the tattoos. I highly recommend this shop.

Ive gotten piercings from Coda and they are the most welcoming and down-to-earth piercer I have been to. They explained the process very well, which was comforting! I have had several friends go to Coda for piercings both before and after my experience and they have all said they did a wonderful job. I will be going back to Coda if I want more piercings in the future!!

Iz is the best!! they help create the most beautiful memorial for my father for me and my mom to get tattooed!! forever grateful

My first experience at layer 3 was to get my conch downsized, and i loved it so much! Just recently i went back and got 2 piercings, my rook and my tragus. Coda did such an amazing job, they talked me through each step and the piercings were pretty much painless. The overall vibe of the place is phenomenal, and ill only be going here for any future piercings! I couldnt recommend this place more :)

Got multiple tattoos done by Erin, including 3 in one sitting, and I swear to never look anywhere else for an artist! Erin is both super professional and also so kind. I’ve never felt anxious or stressed in her chair and she’s great at tailoring to your needs. I get compliments on my tattoos (especially the thin line work) allllll the time and I always refer people to Erin or at least tell them to check out her work. I love working with her and can’t wait to go back.

This was my first time being tattooed by Sam, but Ive known him since high school. Sam and I talked beforehand about my wrap around leave tattoo and he was super informative. He made a few different designs and sizes and we played around with them a lot, which made me more comfortable. Sam really does have a knack for tattoo placement and great artistic ability. He killed it! The ambiance at the shop is always super comforting. They have tvs that play music or shows of your choice and snacks while you wait. I already have another appointment booked with Sam at a later date. Sam will not let you down!

I just got my sleeve done here by Chris. He is a joy to have when you want some work done. He makes bringing your vision to life easy. The other artists there are chill as well. I wont go to another shop. L3cs customer service is through the roof as well.

My dad passed away suddenly on Monday and I wanted to get a tattoo, but had 3 random pictures to mix together. Walked in and was granted with this masterpiece! This is by far my favorite tattoo I’ve ever received! Will be going back for more! Thank you again Sam! Can’t recommend you enough 🥰🫶🏻

I’m a first timer! It was a great experience. I wasn’t nervous at all. The entire process was painless and enjoyable. Lauren is a sweetheart. She does my daughter’s tattoos so I knew she was good. I highly recommend the company.

This was my second time getting a tattoo done by Sam (@srirachasol on ig) and he killed it! I told him I wanted two cranes, and gave him a reference pic that was close to what I had in mind but not exactly. When I came in for my tattoo appointment he pulled out sketches of both cranes he had done. They were exactly what I had envisioned! They looked gorgeous, and he readily accepted my shading requests. He is such a great artist and has a knack for tattoo placement. I was struggling to figure out exactly how to place the cranes on my arm, and Sam saved the day and found the perfect spot for them. The vibe was immaculate, I watched ATLA and we chit chatted while he worked. I have so many more positive things to say about him, he’s the best!

Iz was very helpful with designing my tattoo. She made great suggestions how best to place my design. Shop was clean and Im already thinking about my next one.

I recently went in to get my first tattoo and the whole experience went better than I could have imagined. My artist Ronie did an absolutely amazing job on a rather large and very detailed piece for me and I couldnt be happier with the final result. The shop itself was very clean and all the staff were very friendly and professional, I highly recommend Layer 3 Collective and will definitely be returning in the near future.

I love this tattoo shop. I am always made to feel like I am right at home. All of the staff are very friendly and personable. My tattoo artist and shop owner, Chirs, is very talented and makes sure that you get exactly what you want. He is patient and always willing to listen. He is very flexible with scheduling appointments and is quick to address any of my needs after the tattoo is finished. I truly feel like I made a new friend since I have been working with him. I highly recommend this tattoo shop.

I was referred to the new artist Lauren Granger by a happy client of hers and I was so thrilled with how welcoming and professional she was. She listened to my ideas and was excited to create something beautiful for me. Due to her excellent attitude and positivity I was able to sit for the full tattoo with no trouble, and I love the results. Her bright color work is just to die for. Lauren is definitely my new go-to artist. 10/10

Erin Shea is a tattoo wizard!! It is incredible that we have someone so talented here in Baltimore. Her line work is impeccable, customer service is absolutely fantastic and creative vision is out of this world. Her personality and bedside manner make the experience all the more special and you are left with a masterpiece! Went to Layer 3 from recommendations from a few friends and was blown away. From walk in to walk out many hours later I was thoroughly impressed. Chris is amazing. His artwork and vision is incredible. Already have a return visit booked. 10/10 recommend!

I visited the Layer 3 Collective Fells Point location for a tattoo from Erin Shea and I could not be happier! The studio was super clean and everyone was incredibly accommodating. I have been looking for the right tattoo artist for years and am over the moon to have found Erin. Not only is she talented, but her work is so unique too! I will definitely be coming back for more work with Erin in the near future!

Getting a tattoo done by Erin was such a pleasant experience! She took my inspiration and concerns and created a beautiful masterpiece that I’m proud to have on my arm. Chris is extremely professional and insanely talented he knocked it out of the park with my tattoo in memory of my godmother. He put lots of thoughts into the design and listened to and incorporated different thoughts I had. The shop is very cozy and chill and everyone there is super nice. I will definitely be going back for my next tattoos there.

I had wanted a very specific Haida design for decades. I researched places and found Layer 3 and the artist Chris. We had a consult and I explained my desire for the pretty simple piece of art to be replicated verbatim but that I deferred to Chris the artist to make it look great. 2 colour, simple lines and fills. When it was done, I could not get over why I didnt love it. I paid. I tipped. i came in for a refill. still? no love. Until I got a second tattoo done at studio 7 by Caylin. I now have a piece of art on my other arm. The work Chris did is nothing compared to this. The layer 3 fill is super choppy and not smooth and there are white gaps. The lines are crooked and do not line up. No shading or artistry whatsoever. The work Caylin did was perfect. The lines are perfect. Her shading is bang on. She mixed her own colours and the fills are smooth and solid. I wasnt going to leave a review at all but I realize now that the tattoo I got at Layer 3 is simply... not great. thats my review. Chris was nice and Im sure his tattoos can be good but this one I got was not a sample of great artistry. It’s a bummer to say the least.

Very nice and clean place. I got my first tattoo done her and my guy ,Austin, really helped me throughout the whole process! He really helped me create a final design that we bo thg liked and worked with a price that we agreed on. The place is also really nice with artwork up that you could also buy. They really do make sure that everything is sanitary as well!

I love my new tattoos! Iz did a great job and was wonderful to work with. I cannot wait to work with her again! I think I found my new artist!

I have been tattooed by Chris multiple times. He is great! I always get compliments on the tattoos he has done for me. He is great to talk to and is extremely focused on the details of the tattoo. In regards to the shop- super clean, comfortable chairs, and located near a bunch of food spots so if you’re doing an all day session it’s easy to have food delivered. They do everything the can to make you as comfortable as possible. I’ll definitely be seeing later 3 again soon

I got a tattoo done by Chris on Friday, and could not recommend him enough!! This was my first big tattoo and he talked me through the whole process and gave me warnings on what each part would feel like. He was super personable and was supportive of all the changes I wanted to make to the tattoo even right before we started. It totally made me feel heard and gave me total confidence in getting the tattoo that I wanted and loved! 10/10 would recommend and I will be back for my next one 😊

Chris and the entire staff of the shop were hands down the best people to work with. From the moment you walk in the door, they great you with respect and make sure the check in process is as easy as possible. Then during the tattoo, Chris was great always putting the customer concern before anything and he always listened to the customer’s input and gave the customer the upmost respect. I have another appointment set and my wife has one as well! Highly recommend layer 3 collective for your next tattoo.

Austin had been great to work with. Hes helped me design the pattern, and has been focused and professional through 11 hours of work! I only have good things to say about this studio. Great group of folks and a great place for my first tattoo.

Rina is not only a talented artist, but an incredible person. She put so much time, care, and patience into the design which made the experience that much more efficient and comfortable. Came in yesterday for my first ever tattoo. Ronie was amazing! From my consult a couple weeks ago to my session last night she was great. My tattoo turned out better than I imagined! Highly recommend Ronie! All the staff there was also super friendly and the shop is awesome.

I have had all of my tattoos done at Layer 3 and I would not recommend anywhere else. The artists are professional and creative. Years later my tattoos have required very minimal touch ups. I’ve recommended the shop to multiple friends who all have had great things to say about each of the artists. Get on the books as soon as you can.

Our mom was turning 80 and really wanted to get her first tattoo! We decided to all go together and each get the same small heart. Iz was adorable, very talented, patient and informative. We couldn’t have had a better experience!! The best part was hearing our mom laughing and say “I have a tattoo!!” right when Iz finished!! Such a special day!!

Started out with Chris in Baltimore and then he moved to towson. You couldn’t meet a nicer group of people. Over the last 4 years I’ve built a friendship with Chris who’s the owner. Not only is he incredible at tattooing but he’s a great person to talk too. I’ll continue my tattoos with Chris at Layer 3. I wouldn’t recommend anyone else!

Highly recommend!! I was referred to Chris by family members who have had numerous tattoos done by Chris (all incredible!). Scheduling process for the consult & tattoo were super easy. I wanted a floral arrangement with sentimental meanings. Chris took ideas I gave, put his spin on them, and the final outcome was simply perfect. I appreciate the time and attention put into the work. 3 months later the tattoo has healed beautifully. Chris is a true artist — and beyond that made me feel comfortably and relaxed during the process. The studio is comfy, friendly and clean, super convenient location too. Shared a tattoo idea I had with my brother who shared it with Chris. Chris had the vision and artistic skill to turn the idea into such an amazing design that I flew from NH down to MD just to work with him. The shop itself is really cool and very clean, and the overall experience was so great that I still travel down to MD to get my work done at Layer 3! Cant recommend them highly enough!

Layer 3 Collective is BY FAR the best tattoo shop to which Ive ever been. All of the artists here are extremely talented and have their own unique styles, which was exactly what Chris, the shop owner and my artist, aimed to do. Chris is the most incredible tattoo artist Ive ever seen. He always knows what I want before Ive even figured it out. I started following him and Layer 3 Collective on the socials before moving to the Baltimore area, and just my luck when I actually moved here in 2019, his Fells Point shop was a block and a half away! In my current sleeve, I had him work on a couple of unique pieces, then a cover-up, followed by a portrait of my dog, and then finally had him choose whatever he wanted to fill in the rest of the space, because I trust that no matter what he chooses, its gonna rock! We recently started my other sleeve and I cant wait to continue working on it - again, giving him freedom to do as he chooses, because hes THAT talented. When Layer 3 Collective Towson opened, I followed Chris there, and frankly, if he moved to Alaska, youd better believe that Id be booking flights there too. The shop itself is extremely clean, everyone in there communicates quickly and thoroughly, they are fair in price, and super welcoming to new AND experienced clients. I honestly cant say enough about the shop, Chris, and the rest of the artists. As of this point, I have sent upwards of ten friends and colleagues to this shop, to work not only with Chris but each of the other artists there as well. Check them out if youre looking to get some ink!

I have been going to Chris, as my tattoo artist for years now. He is a very talented man, whose business, and artistry has flourished, since we first started together. He enjoys doing what he does so much, that his co-workers (all females I might add), seem to really enjoy working beside him. Every artist has a specific style of tattoo that they enjoy, or are more proficient at than others. Chris, for example, is a master of all types of realism, calligraphy, and multidimensional work. Its quite impressive.Thank you Chris, for always being the best. I dont feel any hesitation is recommending him, or artists from his shop to a friend or family member. Though, I would still advise you to shop for the artist that best fits the type of work that you want done. I look forward to getting more work done by you, your apprentices, and artists in your shop.

Chris is absolutely amazing! All of his artists at Layer 3 are so talented and very sweet at both locations, they make you feel like family, and they cater to any and all needs. I have had the pleasure of being tattooed at both shops and seeing everyone there tattoo and see the beautiful masterpieces they have created so many times. Never seen anyone disappointed! Chris mostly, but any artist at Layer 3 are the only artists I will allow to tattoo me. I do 8-9 hour appointments, we have so much fun, and the work is always top tier. He is very kind, talented, and easy to work and communicate with. He listens to everything I want, and makes it happen somehow. (I’m not creative but I know what I like). He always brings my crazy ideas to life and he makes his own designs that I love so much, I let him tattoo it on me. You will never get a better experience at another tattoo shop. I am covered in amazing tattoos and 95% of them are thanks to Chris! After going to him the first time, I haven’t stopped, and I never will. I never had these amazing experiences and stellar designs at any other shop I’ve walked into. THIS is the place you want to go to! I would and do recommend this place to anybody and everybody. I get so many compliments on my tattoos from random people anytime they are showing and I always make sure I give them Chris’s info! Tattoos are permanent, and you definitely want to have a talented artist to do them. This place is my home away from home! ❤️

I have been going to Chris for about 5 years now and I could not recommend him & Layer 3 more! He’s completed a full arm and length sleeve for me, as well as a couple other pieces. The cleanliness & friendliness in the shop is unmatched. Chris is an awesome, professional artist that can pretty much do whatever design you can think of! Been going to Chris (Shop Owner/Head Artist) for many years because of his solid ink work and welcoming demeanor. He’s talented like many artists, but the difference is his approachability, communication, and professionalism. It’s always a nice experience, not to mention the shop has a lot of cool art and swag available for purchase. Keep up the good work brother!

Erin Shea is an absolute tattoo goddess. Her work is so clean and detailed, and her bedside manners are the best Ive ever received from any tattoo artist Ive ever been to. She took care of me and my mom and sister with our memorial pieces and replicated my dads handwriting perfectly. Her attention to detail and patience are some of her best qualities. I highly reccomend her! Especially if youre looking for handwriting or fine lines. Shes the best

Got my tattoo a few months ago, Ronie was fantastic with everything. My tattoo still looks like new! One thing for anyone with physical disabilities - the Towson location isnt super disability-friendly because there are stairs in order to get into the studio just as an FYI.

I absolutely love getting tattooed here. At this point Chris is the only artist in MD that I will let tattoo me, and I cant say enough good things about him, his work and the awesome atmosphere of the shop. If I could give it 6 stars, I would.

We worked out a sick sleeve design post consult and I am blown away by the professionalism and quality of the work he laid down over multiple sessions. Chris was very open to my ideas and didn’t try to push me into anything I didn’t want. Erin gave me an incredibly beautiful and meaningful memorial tattoo. I came to her with a photo of a tattoo belonging to my late fiancée as inspiration and she listened to my ideas and designed something that had all the ties I wanted to the original piece but was completely new, unique, and my own. She was beyond accommodating with her schedule and detailed with her design. Erin and Layer 3 Collective as a whole treated me with such kindness during a difficult time. They truly care about their clients on a personal level which is a rarity these days and something I won’t soon forget.

My experience with Erin was the best tattoo experience Ive ever had. She listened closely to what I was looking for and created a gorgeous design as she worked with me along the way to make sure it was exactly what I wanted. She was so patient and delicate and her line work is unmatched.

Erin is the nicest and coolest person I’ve met in the great state of Maryland. I got one tattoo from her right before I left for college and it is brutal having to take classes when all I want is to come back and get another tattoo from her. She is fun, professional, and has great taste in music. Getting a tattoo from her was a 10/10 experience. Everyone should do it.

I would not recommend this shop. Good people, but I wouldn’t say the best artists. Chris the owner did a cover up for me after Erin slapped a very poorly done simple tattoo on me. After finding a design I liked, when sitting down to get the tattoo he told me it would not cover what I wanted(I don’t think he even knew what he was about to cover). He placed the tattoo above the wanted cover up. Then when I came back to do the actual cover, he was surprised to see me. He wasn’t aware I even had the appointment. Then after figuring out what to do(used half the time to design instead of communicating before hand), the tattoo ended up not covering really at all and looked very poorly done. I tried to have him clean it up a bit, but was not successful. He also marked up another tattoo that was perfect, and tried to cover the mistake in white ink hoping I would not notice. Which is very noticeable. The entire time trying to communicate was very difficult. No real collaboration with me. Always would answer 1-2 days before my appointment. “oh sorry I didn’t see your message”. Then when arriving 20-50% of time was wasted goofing off or attending to consultations that were scheduled the same time as my actually tattoo appointment(using up to 30 min of my time). The eye in my tattoo is missing eyelashes! Around 20% of the tattoo has turned to scar tissue(raised skin).Safe to say, you would be making a mistake going here. I am having triple crown next door try to help finish the tattoo. The artists there would have never done this. I would recommend you just go there.

This was my first time at Layer 3 & I got two tattoos from Austin. He was so friendly, patient, and professional during both the consult and tattoo session. I was blown away by his line work and details - he really takes his time to make your tattoos perfect. The Towson location is a great space and the rest of the staff was also extremely kind and welcoming. Couldnt recommend this place or Austin enough!

Erin was very patient with me, we must of move my 2 tattoos around for 20 minutes before we did the stencil, she walked me through all of the steps from the design and placement to the sanitation to after care. Very professional she’s done 6 of my tattoos now and I am hooked! Some of the finest lines I’ve seen around for sure.

I saw Erin for a large floral hip piece and she is AMAZING! Seriously, this girl is an artist. I had been searching for a while in baltimore to find someone good at fine line work and I happened to stumble upon her IG. I am very impressed with how clean her designs are and she has a really light hand when tattooing sensitive areas. Highly recommend!

I loveeeee this shop! Erin did an awesome job on a tattoo for me recently. I had already been working with Austin on a larger piece that I will be getting in a couple weeks. I couldn’t be happier that I found this shop and I’ll be coming here for many more pieces. Also shout out to Paige who is the BEST.

I’ve always thought the tattoo experience can be intimidating, but that’s not the case at Layer 3! Everyone I interacted with was so friendly and professional. I had a wonderful time in their new Towson location. Erin, my artist, was so lovely and her artwork is spectacular. I’ve received non-stop compliments on her work and I can’t wait to go back!

Hes never charged me for time spent talking or answering phone calls, his setup is very hygienic, his prices are very fair and its worth the wait for him to get you in! His work speaks for itself. For getting my first tattoo I couldn’t have been more happy choosing Layer 3 Collective! It was such an awesome experience and one I get to keep with me forever. Erin is the absolute best. Not only is she an incredible artist, but she’s also super down to earth and easy to be with. She’s already done 10+ pieces for me, and I will certainly continue going to her. If you get the chance, book with her. You won’t regret it!

I had a consultation with Erin where she recommended we do two (2) small/medium tattoos in the same session. About a week before the session she rescheduled me for a month later, on a day that I told her wouldn’t work but it was all she had available so I completely changed my FAMILY TRAVEL PLANS. Then, the day before our rescheduled session she sends me the design for 1 of the 2 tattoos. A design that did not reflect ANYTHING we talked about in our session. Which was fine, I was willing to work more with her if that’s what it took, so I sent some kind notes. Then, at 10:30pm the night before the session she tells me she is going to need more time.... I held my breath and said okay and asked if we could atleast do 1 of the 2 tattoos. She then told me she hadn’t even started designing the second one...The lack of professionalism and utter disrespect was unbelievable. To top it all off I was kind through all of this and open to rescheduling, which she never even seemed interested in. She just said nope haven’t designed second one and said nothing about rescheduling. I then sent her a kind message letting her know I was going to look into other artists and asked about my deposit that I put down for absolutely nothing in return. She ghosted me on that and I have not heard from her since. (Update: I messaged her two weeks later again, and she did send me my deposit back, although called me mean and said she hopes Im happy being mean which I thought was immature.) It seems she’s a bit too wrapped up in her personal life to manage herself professionally. Great artist, but doesnt know how to run her business.

Since the grand opening of Layer 3 Collective - Towson, I have gotten 2 tattoos. Chris did a great job on my flash tattoo even with all the stress of opening day. I heard that Ronie had availability as early as the same week, so I booked an appointment for 2 days after the grand opening. Ronie absolutely killed my foot/ankle piece which was also a scar cover up. I will definitely be coming back. Congrats Chris and the Layer 3 Collective - Towson team on the new shop!

I had 2 appointments w Erin where I got 3 small and 1 medium size tattoo. In total, I spent $800 which is more than I have ever paid but I was happy to do it bc I liked her style and want to support small business owners during the pandemic. All of them turned out great.Erin cancelled 2 hours before my 3rd appointment because she said she needed more time. Then, she never contacted me again and when I texted her she ghosted me. Beyond being unneccesary, I found that to be immature, unprofessional, and frankly hurtful.

Chris and his staff are top notch. He’s worked with me on some big pieces and knocked them out of the park. His talent and attention to detail is second to none. Not to mention he’s a great guy, very humble and relaxed. Can’t wait to go back and finish designing my sleeve!

I was completely blown away by Austins talent and generosity. He was extremely patient, welcoming, comforting and light handed. I wanted my piece done on the anniversary of my dads passing and Austin made it happen, on his day off. I am beyond impressed with the talent and kindness and you feel it as soon as you walk thru the door. I could not be any more pleased and grateful for this experience!!

I have multiple tattoos from Erin. I love her line work and style. She’s always working with you from your consultation, working through your ideation and then making it come to reality. I’m excited for what we do next!

Chris has done 3 tattoos for me now and I cannot say enough about his amazing work. His portrait work is perfection! He gets excited about his work and it definitely shows in the final piece. Already thinking about what to get next.

I was so so so excited to work on two tattoos with Austin, but unfortunately he has completely ignored me and all of my messages. I’ve never left a review for anything before but felt I needed to share my disappointment with this situation. I booked my consultation and waited months for it to come. Sadly I had to reschedule due to starting a new job. The first time I called to reschedule I spoke with a woman who told me they would call me back the next day. Then I waited two more days with no response. In total I left 2 more messages on their answering machine and I still have not gotten any news back. It is now the day of my “appointment” and no one will respond to any emails or calls. I’ve decided to just completely take my business elsewhere. I believe these are talented artists, but they really disappointed me and wasted months of my time. Extremely disappointed to say in the least :(

Erin is the best! She nailed the design we wanted and made suggestions that made them perfect. She is so nice and friendly. The shop is super clean and has a great aesthetic. We will def be back!

Talk about talent! I cant wait for my next session at layer 3! Ive gotten work done by but Chris and Ronie that Ive been super happy with. Always have a great time in the chair here, super comfortable and the shop is always chill, even when its busy.

So first off let’s talk about the consultation and leading up to the appt. I saw Austin’s work on their website and I absolutely loved his clean, fine lines and work so I knew he was the artist I wanted to go with. I called in and set an appt for the consultation and he confirmed via text which I appreciated a lot but it was a smooth and easy process. The day of the consultation he listened to what I wanted and asked for a lot of pictures and tried to really understand what I was going for. He sent me a few ideas he had based off of what we talked about and I liked them but wanted to make a few tweaks. He was so patient with all my adjustments and when I saw the finished product I absolutely LOVED it. The day of my appt he really took his time with making sure my tattoo looked perfect. From the placement, to the lines, down to the details, Austin made sure everYthing was great. When the tattoo was done I was extremely pleased. Even while he was doing it I was taking pictures because of how happy I was. When I say that I cannot stop looking at my arm and showing it off 😍😍😍 I’m in love. I’d highly recommend this shop and especially Austin. You can tell he takes pride in his work.

Chris is as professional as you can get. I live in Hawaii and we worked for a year getting my piece together. Chris was patient and super creative. His final work is amazing. His customer service is incredible before, during and after.

Just came for a consultation for my fourth tattoo here and everything was great per usual. Ronie is my tattoo artist and she’s great. Everyone is super friendly and it’s just a great environment and vibe. Oh and of course the tattoos are definitely the best quality.

Had a session with Ronie Stephan and was beyond pleased. Talented artist who created a beautiful tattoo for me in a safe, clean, and comforting environment. Will 100% go pack to Layer 3 and Ronie for my next piece.

Ive been getting tattood by Chris for almost a decade now, and everytime I sit in his chair he delivers exactly what I want. I saw Erin for a tattoo this week at the Towson location and she was AMAZING. The tattoo turned out better than I could’ve imagined. She’s so so so talented. She made the entire experience enjoyable!

Nothing but great things to say about my experience at Level 3 with Chris. He was very patient with regards to accommodating the small intracicies of my tattoo. I was so impressed and pleased with the level of detail that Chris was able to achieve.

This shop was so cool! Everyone from the girl at the front desk(Rina) and my artist (Erin) made me feel so comfortable at home! She was so patient with me and the placement of my tattoo. I can’t wait to go back!!

Relic was absolutely incredible! I gave her the design idea and asked for some of her creativity as well and she killed it! Thank you Sean for getting me scheduled, and thank you Relic for the wonderful new ink! Will definitely be coming back soon!

My Mom and I saw Relic at the Towson location, and Oh. My. God. Not only did Relic do an excellent job with both line work and shading in my piece, but they made the exact idea from my head appear on my skin. It was unbelievable how exactly they were able to capture my idea. The location was clean, practicing COVID guidelines, and even provided snacks and beverages. I would highly recommend the location and specifically Relic’s artwork. Excellent all around!

Went for Layer 3s grand opening flash event. Despite having a lot of business that day, the staff handled everything smoothly and professionally, and were very friendly and communicative. The space is super neat, lots of art on the walls, a comfy waiting room, and lots of houseplants. Highly recommend checking out this new location!
