Traverse City Tattoo

Ive been following these guys for over a year now. Im from Manistee but live in Denver now and have been wanting a little Michigan tattoo for a while. Their shop minimum is a little higher than others in the area but you will always pay for high quality work. Leif did my tattoo and he was great! The shop is really clean and I would recommend them to anyone.

So happy with this experience. I called looking around for a tattoo shop that could take my 3 friends and I that wanted the same tattoo done. We were turned down everywhere around here but Aaron fit us right in with little notice. So happy with the experience and the job. Beautiful and professional!

Aaron got me in quick and on short notice! Perfect tattoo, perfect experience for my first tattoo! Gave alot of attention to detail, more so than I had anticipated. My tattoo turned out a hundred times better than I anticipated. Highly recommended!!

I had the pleasure of working with Leif. He is certainly an artist at heart and, as somebody with little artistic talent, I welcomed his ability to take creative ability in the process. He improved an existing tattoo I already had on my shoulder. I gave him a verbal description of what I was looking for and a couple of visual examples I found on Google and he was able to create something I love. In addition to being a talented artist, he is professional and the atmosphere of Rams shop is welcoming, comfortable, clean, and professional.A++ would recommend.

I cant speak for Leif, but Ram is top notch. Great guy to talk to and to work on a design with. His work is top shelf from fine lines to large intense shading and is always exactly what I want. Book him now, though, because hes always busy and booked out a while in advance. Worth the wait though!

Leif is an amazing artist. He was able to take my vague idea and make it beautiful. Also appreciate the flat hourly rate. Sounds crazy but my best tattoo is my least expensive. Cant wait to get my next one.

Not your typical streetTattoo Parlor! When I first walked into Traverse City Tattoo a year ago I was impressed with how clean the shop was. Ram has been working on a half sleeve for me that is almost complete. This tattoo is some of the nicest ink I have seen. Very good color saturation and color transitions are seamless. I would recommend this shop to anyone. The wait is worth it.

Both Ram and his apprentice Leif are putting out some great work. I could barely even hear their machines, and it was by far the least painful tattoo Ive ever gotten. Must go if youre a collector in TC!

I had never been tattooed before I walked into this little hole in the wall parlor. As soon as I walked in the door I felt like I was at an old friends house. Not only did I walk out with a bada$$ tattoo but have found a gem hidden in Traverse city. I cant thank Leif enough. I would recommend this shop to everyone.

I set up an appointment last fall and had to cancel due to personal issues. He has a policy in which your deposit is returned to you. I’ve contacted him about five different times and each time it’s an excuse and lies. He doesn’t take any safety precautions and flaunts his very personal beliefs on everything. If you value your time and lack of headaches then avoid this business at all costs.

Leif Kolt is currently working on my half sleeve and even though its not finished, I get many inquiries as who is the artist. Of my 17 tattoos, this is the one that stands out.

Ram is a fantastic artist and a lovely human. He always is very professional and does great work!
