Only place I get tattooed. I trust Justin with every piece. He’s so creative with his work, has a gentle hand and overall a beautiful artist. He’s the type of guy you feel comfortable with while sitting in his chair for hours. Oh, and Carla is great too. She’s always such a joy!

Staff was super friendly and answered all my questions. My piercings are okay. Wish I would have seen the placement before I was stuck with the needle though. Partially my fault for not asking. They were super busy!

Ive been getting work done by Justin for years. Amazing dude both artistically and personally. I would never go to anyone else but him. Everyone who works there are the nicest and most professional people you could meet too. Culture Shock is and will always be the best place to get a tattoo in Northern Indiana. Their friendliness and professionalism is top notch and a step above the rest. Love this place!! I got daith piercings and my nose pierced. Amanda is the best. Ive had piercings done before at other places but she was very knowledgeable and super calming (I really need that). She also answered all the questions I had, and I had many. I highly recommend Amanda and Culture Shock for piercings!!!

Had got my cartilage pierced about 2 months ago. Picked out my jewelry from there shop without being told the knowledge of it is better to get it pierced with a stud. Myself and my friend both heard the piercing lady say it is better with a hoop. Here I am now and it is not healing right do to my long hair, and always getting snagged. Called and told the receptionist, she claims they always suggest a stud, and she and the piercing tech did not! All they said was to pick one out of the case. Asked her to see if she can change it out to a stud for me after I could not get it back in, and she said she would have to charge me again for a piercing. Also their sea salt and water ratio method of cleaning it dried it out completely, went to another piercing shop to get advise and they couldnt believe I had got it done with a hoop and also their cleaning method did not work, was way to dry. Bottom line, changed it out myself with a stud, even through the pain it was to do, and I will not being paying them for their service ever again.

The staff is super friendly, but most all of my piercings have had to be redone. My nose ring had to be taken out because it was pierced weirdly far back, and same with my nip piercings. She pretty much pierced my boob.

If you are unsure about a place to get any piercing done Culture Shock is the place to go. I got my navel (belly button) pierced today, all rings where at great prices, everything was sterilized very thoroughly, the staff was excellent, the art was absolutely gorgeous, and I plan on getting my first tattoo here, cant wait to go back.

I love this shop! They are clean, professiona and the ink holds up. Over the last 11 years I have gothen 8 tattoos with them and a body pierring and as long as theyre open, I will never go anywhere else. My 11 year old tattoo looks fresher and moreminds vibrant than lots of brand new ones Ive seen other shops do. Im a very loyal customer and will stay that way :)

My experience has been amazing everytime Justin does one of my tattoo. He is meticulous, professional, imaginative, and always safe.

I got my daith pierced & the piercer was awesome. My only complaint is that the receptionist was very pushy that I get both sides done & wouldn’t leave me alone about it. She even said “you’re lucky I’m not being a c¥nt today” what was she gunna do, not let me get pierced? I’m not sure if she was being a b!tch because she wanted the extra sale or what. One side does in fact stop headaches. The only reason she left me alone is because I told her I would come back a few days later to get the other side done. I think a new receptionist should be hired or the current one needs to chill out. Idk that I’ll come back. She definitely made it a rough experience.

I got my first tat at the age of 18 from these guys. Very friendly staff! Im proud to say that after 11 yrs, my tat still looks new! People dont believe me that its 11 yrs old! :) I live in CO now but plan to get in for another tat when Im in the area! Highly recommended! Thnx guys!

I have now had 3 tattoos and 2 piercings from here and will go back again in the future. The staff is always happy and friendly and everything is clean and tidy. Top notch piercer as well.
