My mom and I came and got matching tattoos at Kate’s studio and had a great experience. It was my moms first tattoo and Kate was gentle and patient throughout the whole process. I felt just at home here. She was quick and efficient. Definitely will be back!

Kate has done several tattoos for me and all are amazing! She recently did my sons very first work of art on him & he absolutely loves it - has gotten a ton of compliments and requests of who did it!Kate is a true artist and has assembled a great team for the shop.Highly recommend

There is not enough that I can say about how amazing and talented Kate is. She takes the time to listen and help create the best piece and placement. Her fine line work is perfection. New piece, reworking bad pieces from long ago, or personal pieces she is my girl forever. And as a person you wont find a bigger heart of gold. Weve come a long way baby! Love ya girl.

This up and coming tattoo shop is artist run and driven with emphasis on client attention. Kate is absolutely fantastic and has done all my ink work since my first encounter with her. All the artists are just that - artists first, tattooers second. This means an unmatched attention to artistic detail with skill and precision. If you want a first tattoo or your hundredth I urge you to head over to the shop! You will not be disappointed! Any artist there will provide you the tattoo vision you need (but Kate is my fave ;) )

They do amazing work here! Ive been a client of Emilios for a couple years now and will definitely be getting a lot more work from him. The shop is super clean and sharp looking and overall a really good atmosphere. Kate has really put her heart in her shop. Easily the best artists in the area.

Very clean shop with knowledgeable and experienced artists! Would recommend anyone looking to get a tattoo done to head here! I have been getting work done by Kate for 10+ years and ALWAYS have people stopping and asking about where I go! Emilio has done a couple of my more recent pieces and he is beyond talented! Kate is great! Ive had 3 cover ups done by here & each time she was very professional! I felt like I was in a therapy session, for as much as I opened up & told her. I will most definitely use her in the future for more tattoos. I would recommend her time & time again!

The Shop-The Valparaiso Tattoo Collective was clean, bright, modern and open; not closed and stuffy like other shops I’ve been in. The color scheme and materials used to decorate the inside gave confidence that the shop and its employees are all class. They had fast WiFi, good music, and the temperature was perfect. Getting a tattoo can take a decent amount of time and the comfort level in this building made it easy.My overall experience was complete and total satisfaction. If you are considering a tattoo, you will not be disappointed going there!The Artist-I had a noon appointment with Lex, who is a total professional, and everything was on-time. Right away, Lex and I discussed my tattoo that he put together from several ideas I shared earlier. I was pretty specific on what I wanted and Lex’s final version was perfect and needed no adjustments. My tattoo was on the larger side with quite a bit of detail. Lex did it all in one sitting. I could not have been more pleased with the outcome of my new tattoo; it was even better than I hoped it would be (Thanks again Lex!). Everyone I’ve showed it to loves it and wants to know where I got it done. I tell them, “Valparaiso Tattoo Collective.”

Absolutely fantastic establishment. Very efficient staff. Each artist makes you feel comfortable and puts no pressure on you. They actually work with you. The high standard that this shop works on should be the standard of tattooing for everyone.

I’ve gotten two pieces from kate and have another appointment setup and plan on having many more. The staff are all very friendly and very experienced. The shop is also very clean and welcoming.
