Today I went and got two of my tattoos touched up. These tattoos were done by different artists(not at this shop). I felt down at the quality of tattoo I received from the PREVIOUS artists from a different shop. But Tommy from Vienna Tattoo Studio absolutely blew me away. Not only did he fix/improve my tattoos he was very friendly. He talked to me throughout the process and made me feel welcomed and safe. Amazing experience. I had some unique ideas for 2 cover ups and Tommy, despite having another commitment, allowed me to come in with no appointment and share what I had in mind. Few weeks later we sat together for 3 hrs! and worked on the designs and placement, then got to work. My designs were a bit different than what Tommy has traditionally done, but he was open to my ideas and up for the challenge. I had this piece done by Nefthaly aka Inker4Life. Inker is an extremely talented artist and very professional. He was flexible throughout the whole process. I highly recommend Inker. The shop atmosphere was very clean and professional as well. Everyone there made me feel welcome and comfortable. I highly recommend Vienna Tattoo Studio. First tattoo and scheduled an appointment with my friend’s go-to artist. I absolutely LOVE my tattoo! Tommy took the time to design a piece, print out various sizes of the design, perfectly find the best position on my chest, and helped calm my anxiety to the floor. Best experience I think a tattoo could be and I would highly recommend scheduling with Tommy!

I got my first tattoo done by Tommy here a couple of weeks ago. He meticulously took his time to design my tattoo using elements chosen by me and made suggestions on the best way to structure them into one piece. It came out better than I could’ve expected. After my mom reached stage four of ALS, I searched for an artist who was skilled in fine line. I wanted someone who could take her writing and permanently place it on me before she passed away so I could surprise her with the tribute. I found Vienna tattoo, explained the situation, and a manager thought Mono would be the right person. They couldn’t have been more correct. My mom cried when she saw how precise the writing is. It makes me warm inside to see it everyday.Months later, I returned. My mom has now passed away and it was time to add to the tattoo. I knew I needed to work with Mono again.I can’t see myself going anywhere else.Now to plan the next one…

I had a “fine line” tattoo that was poorly done at another shop in the NOVA area, and thought I’d always have to deal with being unhappy with it. We are new to the area and was told about vienna tattoo. This was my 5th tattoo, 1st tattoo here. I will more than likely be back. Ken was great. The tattoo is meaningful to me since I have just recently lost my dad to cancer. Ken took his time to make sure it was perfect and I cant be more happy with it.

I contacted Tommy through their studio email and was able to communicate back and forth easily there and through text. He was clear about pricing so I knew what to expect. I sent him ideas and he gave his creative input on it which I appreciated. Some shops will just tattoo anything for the money and not care about composition. Tommy is incredible! I was looking for a coverup of an old tattoo and saw he had great reviews. I was so impressed with his work I went all in for a sleeve. He worked with me to take my ideas and apply them with his artistic ability. I went with black and grey realism and love how it turned out. I get stopped by people wanting to find out who did my tattoo.

Worked with Tommy to turn my existing tattoo I got in high school into a sleeve. Great experience and still more work to do! I found some example sleeve tattoos online I liked, and Tommy took those plus what I had to create a customized version. We did the top arm first and the forearm a few weeks later. We still have at least two more sessions where well shade in all the negative space and then do touch ups and finally refresh the old tiger. Healing process has been quick, and working with Tommy and Vienna Tattoo has been easy and professional. Highly recommend!

I went here for my first tattoo several weeks ago. I worked with Vanna/Spanks. I had created the design and Spanks helped me refine it. He then got to work. It took about four hours. Easy time as Spanks was super nice and easy to talk to. It was pretty painles as well. The tattoo has also healed really well, and he offers a free touch up which I will be taking advantage of. Very satisfied.

Vienna Tattoo studios is a great place, who’s even better is Inker the man himself. A great down to earth very genuine artist, he values his work a lot and is extremely detailed. His care for clients is through the roof, always ensuring the safety and comfort of his clients. Had two great experiences with him and he frequently asks how I’m/clients are feeling. Go to Inker, he’s a great guy, can’t recommend him enough.

I wanted a peekaboo tattoo in memory of my mom. She’d wanted a “Choose love” tattoo but she never was able to get it, so my sister and I created one where “choose” was in typewriter font because mom was a writer, and the word “love” is actually her handwriting. Tommy was kind and patient with me in finding just the right spot for it. His hand is so steady, he could be a surgeon. I love this little tattoo so much, it just feels right. I’d recommend Tommy and this studio any day!

Anthony is an amazing artist and a truly genuine person. I wanted a sleeve and talked to numerous shop artists up and down the tristate area for an entire year before finding this amazing man. He listened to my interests and took his time with me during the consultation. His design is amazing in that it is thoughtfully inked to be feminine and beautiful. My sleeve is still a work in progress but the number of people who walk up to me to ask about the art is astonishing. Go see him for the perfect art and the most gentle tattooing. Great experience start to finish! Ken took me as a walk-in and created a beautiful small tattoo of swallows on my shoulder. Listened, consulted well on placement and design. Very gentle—I almost fell asleep while it was being done! Friends have complemented me on the precision and level of detail he was able to achieve with such a small piece. Highly recommend! :)

Tommy and crew are amazing to work with as a shop. The atmosphere in the shop is fun, clean and positive. Since January of last year, I had both hands, my chest and an entire left arm sleeve done in the shop. Tommy did my hands and full sleeve while Ken did my chest. I am so very glad that I found Vienna Tattoos for my 1st tattoo ever! I did mine with Tommy and the result was absolutely fabulous!I have had the design done since 2014 but was contemplating when to actually do it. Mostly, I did not know what to expect and was afraid that I wouldn’t be able to take the pain. It was actually not that bad at all. I adapted to the pain pretty well.I am so glad that Tommy was able to manifest the string ray and Arabic calligraphy designs that I had. Tommy’s techniques also helped make the pain bearable and manageable. I also think having an artist with experience and/or understanding of Polynesian tattoo culturally made a huge difference.I went to a party after I got the tattoo done and people praised the details. I would definitely come here for my next tattoos and recommend this place and their artists to my friends/families 🙏😃👏🎉

I had the BEST experience at Vienna Tattoo Studio. I had a scar that I wanted to cover up, and Tommy made me feel comfortable and confident in choosing him as my artist. We worked together to make the best design to cover the scar but to also fit the aesthetic I wanted. Tommy was patient with me, but he was also honest about what would work and what wouldn’t.Because the tattoo is on my shin, I decided to use the numbing cream that the shop sells, and I’d say that it worked pretty well! There was no pain for the first hour, and then after it started to wear off a little, the pain was a lot more manageable than if I didn’t use the numbing cream. Tommy didn’t take any breaks, in order to finish before the cream completely wore off, which I appreciated so much! The tattoo turned out beautifully, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience.To summarize, I highly recommend heading to Vienna Tattoo Studio for your next tattoo!

I got a cover-up tattoo done by Tommy and absolutely love it! I had an idea of what I wanted and he modified the design and placement so it perfectly covered up my old tattoo. I actually reached out to a few different artists at other tattoo shops, but Tommy was the only artist who was able to work on the cover-up with the design I wanted. I’ve only gotten tattoos from people who tattoo on the side, in their house. Visited Vienna tattoo studio for a scar covering tattoo by Mono on 7/8. The tattoo studio location is great, easy parking, super clean and well kept. Everyone was super personable and friendly.Pricing was great and they’re very transparent with pricing when discussing design and quote info.I am so pleased with my tattoo and the experience, I will definitely be back for more and highly recommend them!

I usually never write reviews but I felt like this one was very necessary. I just got my floral/butterfly tattoo done by Tommy yesterday and it was a great experience, the consultation process was very easy and I got my appointment booked only a week after. On my actual tattoo day, I felt VERY comfortable which was my main goal while searching for a tattoo shop because you not only want to trust your tattoo artist but you also don’t want to be in a nerve racking environment for hours while receiving a tattoo. Tommy was very professional and he came up with an original tattoo for me after showing him a reference picture and I absolutely LOVE it. Another thing I really enjoyed was how light-handed Tommy was, tattoos obviously all hurt but he made it as pain free as possible and I actually ended up falling asleep! Had a random moment yesterday to get a tattoo. Mind you, I hadn’t gotten a tattoo in so many years, right? I called up midday and the lady on the phone was not only beyond sweet and accommodating, but she was also able to get me in right then! I had never been there before and don’t know what to expect — but I walked in to a beautiful, clean & warming environment. I was greeted by the lady on the phone, who turned out to be the owner!! She was just as amazing in person, if not more!I had a small piece done on my arm, by Spank, one of the many artists they have. They were so patient with me, and I’ll be honest, I can be a bit much. They made me feel right at home, staying past closing, letting me eat all of their lollipops LOL! I felt so comfortable with them and even opened up about my personal life and the reason behind my tattoo, which is information I’m normally not cool with sharing. Needless to say I walked out of there feeling like I got exactly what I wanted from the entire experience, at an affordable price too! Excellent and professional service. Making an appointment was easy and I’m really happy with my tattoo. I got cherry blossoms on my arm and it looks so good. I get complements everywhere I go. The colors Tommy used makes the tattoo look almost real in my opinion 😁

I had a tattoo done by Tommy and I must say he is an amazing artist. It was a floral thigh piece about 15inches. It was a 6 hour long session and the piece came out exceptionally well. Today I decided on a whim that I was going to get the tattoo I had wanted since I was little, so I called the Vienna Tattoo Studio. They were very helpful letting me know their availability, deals they were offering, and pricing and I was in the studio being worked on within an hour. Vanna, (aka Spank) recreated my vision better than I imagined, helped me place it perfectly, and was very careful as the entire session was practically painless. He brought my cherished symbol into reality and his work is absolutely beautiful. I highly recommend not only this studio, but Vanna as well.

Hands-down, best tattoo experience from start to finish. This was the biggest piece I have gotten so far, and it was an awesome experience getting to design it and work with Tommy. I trusted his expertise, and he always gave me his honest opinion regarding design, placement, and details. I went to AC at Vienna Tattoo to get a tattoo on my finger. I could not be more pleased with the result. AC took the time to get the stencil perfectly placed, and then masterfully put the tattoo on. He was also very pleasant to talk to. I will definitely be going back to AC for future tattoos.

I had Tommy do a Galaxy Rose Tattoo on my left upper arm. He listened patiently while I explained what I wanted and worked with me until I was satisfied with the stencil. During the Tattoo process he let me take as many breaks as needed and was very friendly. The Tattoo parlor was clean and professional. Not complaints here!

I got a rib tattoo of a lighthouse and a bible verse under it. It turned out soooooo good! Very detailed and clean. Lotoe was my artist and he did a great job. Tommy was at the shop too and is a really nice guy. Very friendly and welcoming. I will be coming back if I decide to get another tattoo.

Mila was incredibly polite, knowledgeable, and invested in my satisfaction all throughout the process from initial contact through the two sessions we had. She blew me away with her initial design, and like magic the tattoo itself exceeded even that! Total time took less than I imagined, and the price was more than fair considering how detailed the piece was. She ensured I was comfortable and explained proper after care (it had been a while since my last tattoo!); I’ll definitely plan to get another tattoo from her in the future.

Went to Vienna Tattoo twice over the past couple of months for two pieces, one on each forearm. The first was a close-up of light reflecting off of water in full color, and then the second was a sunset over the ocean with waves crashing in black and grey. Both came out beautiful with sharp lines and smooth blending. The shop itself is clean with minimalist decor and good vibes; artists are kind, communicative, and fun to work with. Made it hard to want to go anywhere else for tattoos!

Tommy is spectacular! I went to him in December 2018 for a touch-up on a tattoo I got at a different studio (in Chicago) back in March 2017. The original had scabbed and healed poorly due to the Chicagoan artists mishandling. Id been wanting it fixed for awhile, but was apprehensive that Id have the same problem again. When I called Vienna Tattoo Studio, Tommy asked for photos, and then called me personally to offer his very kind, professional advice on whether it was a good idea to do a touch-up. I ended up going to the studio the next day and getting the tattoo redone with Tommy. He was, again, kind and professional, and afterwards, let me know that he was available via text in case I had questions. Three weeks later, my tattoo has healed beautifully, and I am so relieved and happy -- all thanks to Tommy. Both a wonderful artist & individual. Highly recommend.

Ive gotten two pieces done here by Anthony. Additionally, my girlfriend got a tattoo from Anthony here as well. Let me stress this: I cannot recommend this place enough. Not only is the environment clean and comfortable, the staff there are also incredibly friendly and welcoming. Some tattoo places can feel unwelcoming (especially to women) but both I and my girlfriend felt extremely comfortable here and plan on going back for all our tattoo needs.Now, for the actual work itself. Anthony is a true artist. For both my pieces, I emailed him some reference pictures and described the style and placement I wanted. From there, he created custom designs and tattooed it on me. In addition to doing great designs, hes also the most gentle tattoo artist Ive ever encountered. He didnt press down on the needle too hard and was very good about checking in with me to make sure I was doing well. The healing process was quick and there was minimal bleeding and scabbing compared to other tattoos Ive had done at other places. It takes a lot of trust to have someone permanently etch something into your skin (especially in a visible place like your forearm which is where both of my pieces are), but Anthony has more than earned that trust from me.In summary, I 100% recommend this place. I had the pleasure of working with Mila on my most recent tattoo, and it was a pleasure! She was great every step of the way! She was very quick to respond, very flexible, her sketches were amazing (and exactly, if not better, than what I had envisioned), I was happy with the price, she explained everything out to me and made me feel very comfortable from the moment I contacted her all the way throughout the actual tattoo. I cant recommend Vienna Tattoo Studio and Jesse Najera enough! Jesse is an incredibly talented artist who has helped me bring my sleeves from thoughts to reality and in the best way possible. He is very patient with me and all of my ideas, open to making constant adjustments and changes in order to deliver the best quality end product/artwork possible, and overall he is a great artist making the tattooing process smooth as butter. So far I have been tattooed by Jesse for over 80 hours and have multiple more projects planned and booked with him. The shop is very clean, tidy, and has a great atmosphere. I went from having my first tattoo done by Jesse to working on 2 sleeves, my legs, chest, back, and etc. Do not hesitate to book your appointment with him now and his portfolio speaks for itself. He has also done a phenomenal job with my anime style of artwork and realism, he does not have 1 specific style he has to stick to and is flexible.

I came to see Mila for my first tattoo and Im so glad I did. From the beginning of the process to creating the design she helped me figure out what I wanted and replicated the idea I had in my head perfectly! I was pretty nervous to start because I didn’t really know what to expect, but she reassured me and informed me of what she was doing and why she was doing it. I’ve received nothing but compliments and I’ve already referred a couple of friends to her as well!

Upon arrival to my first session with jesse there should have been a stencil already prepared for me but there wasnt... so this tattoo was done freestyle which was never discussed prior. Additionally , there were errors/red flags such as crocked lines which had to be thickened in an attempt to correct that and lack of colors (artist blended colors to make one) .The tattoo appears messy, doesnt blend, transition well, or look like the design asked for. I have reached out to express my concerns and a phone call was arranged telling me i can pay for corrections. I have decided to look into laser removal which terrifies me and is unfortunate because i gave this business about $2.5K ...

Got a really bad sword tattoo that turned out horrible and was really crooked. Apparently an apprentice did it. Really disappointing and he wasnt professional at all. He was answering phone calls from other people during the session.
