Everyone at Wicked Goddess is amazing, friendly, and eager to help. Rachel has a fantastic crew and she herself is an incredible piercer (in addition to being a lovely person in general). Shes done multiple helixes, mid helix, and rooks on me over numerous sessions and each one has been carried out with the utmost professionalism and care.In addition to superb customer service, the shop is extremely clean and organized. It has an excellent collection of earrings etc., offering a wide range of items that would work for anyone no matter what their budget is for any piercing.Although I havent got a tattoo yet there, the artists are very welcoming and from what I have seen do beautiful work. Plus, other customers seem really happy with their tattoo experiences there.Overall, Wicked Goddess is run by a great lady who is a master of her craft. Rachel has gathered a very loyal following for good reason. I have been incredibly impressed with their respectful treatment of people from all ages and backgrounds, eager to give everyone the best service possible. Hands down this is my favorite piercing shop in the area and would recommend it to first timers as well as experienced clients.

Today is my first time going to wicked goddess for my Septum piercing from Rachael. Lemme say when I entered was immediate greeted and I felt welcome. The place was clean and well kept. And I met Rachael she made me feel comfortable and made my experience fun. The whole process was amazing. I would highly recommend friends and family here for any piercing or tattoos. Been here twice now and definitely never getting pierced anywhere else! Such a friendly space with wonderful staff, especially Rachel. I was so nervous for getting my daith done because I had heard it was very painful, but she made me feel so comfortable and at ease it went way more smoothly than I expected. 100/5 stars!!

I cant say enough how pleasant my first tattoo experience was at Wicked Goddess. My artist was Maddy - more on her in the stylist section. The shop had a very easy tattoo submittal process. The shop itself is clean and well-organized, and its obvious the entire staff takes great care of the place. While getting the tattoo, everyone there was very warm and welcoming, which made me feel very comfortable during my first tattoo experience. Overall, it was a very easy and comfortable experience. Would absolutely recommend this shop and Maddy to anyone.

I came here for my second ear piercings. i had my firsts done when i was very young, so i would consider this my first time getting a piercing. Staff was very unhelpful. I got my piercings, and they were VERY uneven. I voiced this, and was told my the piercer that it was “just my ears.” Because i have no experience with piercings, I decided to trust this guy who does this for a living. big mistake. it is so noticeable and i get comments on it daily. I ended up with huge blood blisters immediately after piercing, and the earrings i had to purchase at the shop were so flimsy (and VERY expensive) and ended up breaking completely when i attempted to remove them 8 weeks after piercing. I paid over 200 dollars for a very obviously uneven piercing, and they didn’t even give me any aftercare materials. for how expensive this place is, they should be doing it right and should be giving you proper aftercare. I purchased the recommended aftercare and still ended up getting a horribly painful infection in both ears. long after this healed, i decided to do my thirds myself. it was far less expensive and healed much better than the piercings i got here. Do not come here. there are much better options for far cheaper who will give you an even piercing AND aftercare materials.

10/10 pretty much a perfect experience!! The environment was nice, Rachel was awesome and made the piercing quick and painless, and gave me plenty of information as well as answering any questions I had. Bonus: the shop has stuffed frogs for emotional support! 😊 I would highly recommend Rachel for all your piercing needs. It wad quick and perfectly done. I love my new piercing! Thank you!!

I had an amazing experience! My piercer was Kristen who fitted me with the perfect helix placement. Practicaly no pain and I absolutely love it! Spent $120 for the piercing and tip.A few weeks after piercing: I havent any issues with with my piercing. It was a little sore the first day, but even after that I havent had any swelling and have been doing my best to keep it clean and away from any friction.Six weeks later: I came in for my downsize. Went from an 8mm bar to a 6mm. Everything was quick and efficient and Kristen said its healing nicely. Again, so happy with the results! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!

My mother-in-law and I decided to have our nostrils pierced and we found Wicked Goddess online which had great reviews. The drive was a little far from where we live- but WELL worth it.The last experience I have with getting anything pierced was over 15 years ago, and things have come a LONG way! They had us each book for 30 minute slots to ensure we had ample time to try and pick out the jewelry we wanted. Their jewelry selection is absolutely incredible. It honestly was hard to make a decision and I already have a short list of jewelry I want next.We felt anything but rushed- it was such a fun experience in a boutique-like setting.Rachel was our piercer and I cannot speak more highly of her. She was so sweet and made the actual piercing process so fast and easy. She has a real natural calming way about her, and the nervousness I normally would have disappeared.The shop is so clean and the staff is professional and welcoming. We will definitely be making the drive and returning in the future.

I had my septum pierced in July at Wicked Goddess. I’ve had it done before but took it out and it closed so I needed a new piercing. I’ve been pierced lots and my previous experiences were great. I just moved here and wanted a good place to go. My experience was not a good one. I booked online with the who I thought was the owner. When I got to the appointment, a guest artist was there instead. If that was going to happen, I should have been notified before my appointment of a piercer change. I went with it because I assumed with the reviews of the business, they would be okay. During the piercing, there was an issue with the jewelry slipping and she said it would need to be pierced again. I understand that those things can happen. The placement of the piercing was wrong as well and I had to take the piercing out and let it heal. The space is really cool and the rest of the staff were really nice. I really wish it was a better experience

This shop is honestly the most comfortable and welcoming tattoo shop I’ve been to. Not once did I feel intimidated or embarrassed to ask questions and get informed answers. Maddy is an amazing artist at this shop and she really takes pride in her work. She’s crazy talented and I’m so glad I’ve been able to become a returning client of hers!

I’d been searching far & wide for a metro accessible, high quality piercing studio & finally found one :’) I got a piercing I had wanted to for years (a floating navel!) & had a wonderful experience with Danie. Though a traveling piercer & not in the shop regularly, she gave me a great experience - from the actual piercing to describing potential anatomy-specific concerns, I felt like I left fully equipped to take care of my new navel piercing well. Wicked Goddess is amazing! I got my first piercings here and wow I would not want them from anywhere else!!! Rachel was absolutely amazing and so funny and sweet, she made the process absolutely amazing and almost painless!! This is a very nice piercing and tattoo studio. They have a huge selection of jewelry and it is one of the nicest studios I have been to, Rachel did my piercing. She has been piercing me several years. She is also very calming and says what she is doing before she does it. I have been to all in the DC suburbs studios and in Richmond area and this one is one of the nicest in every way. People in DC and Maryland are lucky because this is next to the Dunn-Loring Metro.

2024 is the year of me and Wicked Goddess is taking me there! Been there a few times now.Visit 1) In March I got my ears pieced for the first time (mid-30s and I finally did it!) Rachel did my piercing and was very helpful and reassuring because I was a little scared. Looks great and placement is great! Earrings are $$ but good quality!Visit 2) March: consultant with Sara on tattoos. Listened to all my concerns, stories and wants. Great time and was excited to see results. Planning in getting 2 different tattoos with 2 very different personal meanings.Visit 3) Early June: tattoo #1. Amazing. EXCELLENT, and exactly what I had envisioned!!!.... will update post after next 2 sessions but just had to share! LOVE SARA!! ❤️

The best word to describe this studio is comfy. Everyone was super nice and easy to talk to in person and even on the phone!! I came in for a piercing emergency and I believe it was Kristen who helped me pick out some jewelry and put it in and the whole process was quick and easy. Very understanding and professional. I definitely freaked out my first time getting my nipples pierced but during the second time, Rachel was so amazing and very talkative to help distract me and I loved it and my piercings to be honest. From others I heard they were very painful but she helped make it quick and very painless, similar to an ear piercing almost where it’s just a pinch, and I’m so grateful. I walked in today for a small tattoo and my experience was amazing! I got there when the shop opened at 11 and everything was clean and welcoming.I was able to talk to Ozzie about a small tattoo idea and she really took her time understanding the font and placement that I wanted. She took her time to adjust the stencil in a way for whether if I would be standing or sitting it would read perfectly. I feel like her attention to detail and welcoming attitude was so helpful and it really put me at ease.Also the shop is so cute! Came in to get help on a piercing Ive had from another location that wasnt healing right. I was helped immediately by the very kind piercer, who made me feel right at home! She was very knowledgeable, instantly identified the problem and guided me through a jewelry change. I had the absolute BEST experience with Kristen today for my first time at Wicked Goddess. I got my nose pierced a little over a month ago at a different body piercing shop and developed the dreaded nose bump. I didn’t go back to that shop because I only learned after the fact that they shouldn’t have pierced me with a hoop, the vibe felt off, and so on. I took a gamble on Wicked Goddess because of their reviews and WOW…what a completely different experience. Great vibes. Everyone that worked there answered questions, had really good energy and I didn’t feel rushed. Kristen and I came up with a game plan on when to come back to get it checked and resized and I just really appreciated her professionalism, empathy to my situation, and HELPING me through the process. These folks know what they’re doing and were very welcoming. Thanks again to Kristen and the rest of the staff who jumped in to help a girl out. You’ve gained a customer for life.

Ozzie was a fantastic tattoo artist — we had a great consultation over my design and she mocked it up beautifully, just how I envisioned it. The piercers are experienced, theyre knowledgeable, and willing to work with whatever you need. I went in for *several* jewelry replacements and I was given an extended appointment time for it. I recently had a very disappointing experience at this piercing and tattoo place. They claimed I canceled my appointment when I didnt click anything. They sent an email saying I canceled it, which I never saw. Even if I did see the email, they sent a confirmation text after the cancellation email, how would I know it was canceled?Upon arrival, they informed me my appointment was canceled but said I could still get one since the guy was running late. I arrived 15 minutes early, and the guy who was supposed to be running late showed up 10 minutes past his scheduled time. This means I was there 25 minutes before him, yet they still let him go first.I showed the front desk girl the text message confirming my appointment, and she was extremely rude and dismissive, simply saying, I dont know with a lot of attitude. She didnt even apologize for the inconvenience.The whole experience was frustrating and unprofessional. I ended up waiting a total of an hour even though I was early and the other guy was late. I wont be coming back and wouldnt recommend this place to anyone.

I love this place so much. My sister and I got piercings done here (rook and cartilage) and Rachel was so great! She really made sure it was as painless as possible, gave great recommendations, and she was just simply the best! The shop was super clean too. We will definitely be back for more piercings and I would recommend it to anyone.

I honestly can’t say enough about this amazing shop. The tattoo artist, Ozzie, is outstanding! She’s talented, personable and patient. I now have two tattoos done by her and I couldn’t be happier.I already have a large cover up in the works with her for this winter. I cant wait!Note: The shading was not complete on the chrysanthemum in the scorpion tattoo. That’s now been completed and it’s GORGEOUS! I just don’t have the best picture.

Highly recommend Wicked Goddess, a women owned, managed, and run gem of a shop! WG is new and its clear they all work hard to keep it cleaned, sanitized, and well maintained. The whole vibe makes you feel right at home. They have flash designs on a wall you can choose from, but they seemed to get most excited about collaborating with clients on projects.Recently had the opportunity to get tattooed by Ozzy at Wicked Goddess and all I can say is, run - dont walk - to her station to get your next piece completed. Shes relatively new to the DMV area so her calendar isnt too packed yet, but mark my words soon it will be impossible to find an opening! she is just that talented.Her easy going nature and friendly personality puts you at ease and her skill speaks for itself. She was professional throughout the long session and so focused on her work, she had to be reminded to BLINK-she didnt want to look away for even a millisecond.

I came to this shop through a recommendation. The ambience of the shop was cozy and people who greet you at the front are very lovely and helpful. Dedicated to cleanliness. I came to get 3 piercings, and Rachel (super friendly!!) helped me with deciding the placement of the helixes. The whole process of the piercing itself was very quick. What a great place! The shop was spotless and decorated beautifully. I came in for a nose piercing. Loved the fact that its a small women owned business. I was treated respectfully, very cordial and friendly staff. They offer reasonably priced jewelry. This was great because I wanted a small diamond stud that I dont plan to remove. Holly performed my piercing very professionally and detailed in her explanation of everything. It looks fantastic and Im more than pleased with old entire experience. FYI, parking is limited so leave extra time if you need to feed a meter..

Not only is this shop super cool and offers some amazing jewelry options for different piercings, the staff is absolutely amazing! They made me feel super safe and comfortable in their shop from the moment I arrived until I left. I personally was pierced by Rachel who is an amazing person who talked me through all the steps she was taking as she did them, showed me respect, and made me laugh and feel relaxed during the whole process. I went to get my helix and nose piercing done and I was really nervous about it because I had a previous helix piercing that did not heal properly. Everyone that I talked to was super nice in general. Rachel was my piercer and she did such an amazing job. Its been 2-3 days and I dont have any pain or swelling whatsoever. She answered all of my questions and was super comforting. Will definitely be going back there for more.

Just an absolutely incredible place with incredible people. I had a septum and nostril piercing with Kristen and she was super precise and careful, always communicating what she was doing and what to expect, but also is just generally a delightful person. While I did not enjoy getting holes in my head, spending time with such lovely people made it a wonderful experience.

She walked us through any nerves and made sure we were prepared, she also was so considerate with design changes/placement, it made all the difference. Not to mention the attention to detail and line work is absolutely incredible- we are both so in love w/ our tattoos. I can’t say enough good things! I got my daith done here back in September and everyone was so nice and friendly, helping me pick jewelry and answering any question I had. I then came back to get my tattoo done by Sierra and it was so so beautiful! Everyone here is so nice and friendly, and the vibes are amazing. Have loved every interaction I’ve had, everyone has been extremely kind and knowledgable. I’ve been pierced twice here, multiple different ear piercings and an ear-scaping session, and it is well worth the price. LOVE this shop so much!!! I had the absolute best experience getting my conch pierced by Kristen. She was incredibly kind and professional and she walked me through the process step by step. I felt so comfortable there and I love that the shop is woman owned and operated in such a male dominated industry. I am 4 days out from my piercing and I have had NO pain at all which is incredible since the last time I had my cartilage pierced (not here) it hurt so badly I had to give up and take out the piercing. Such a testament to Kristens talent and I cannot recommend Wicked Goddess highly enough!

I have followed Sierra to a few different shops because I like her work and I just got my third tattoo from her at Wicked Goddess and this place is by FAR my favorite shes worked at. I came in twice for this leg piece and the atmosphere was so warm and welcoming both times. Its decorated nicely with good music playing and a plethora of snacks ready if you need a break.Ive written reviews for Sierra before, but I am obsessed with her work. Shes done 3 black and white pieces for me and her line work is incredibly crisp and none of the tattoos have been that painful (even though Im a huge wimp with pain). For this design, it was a little complicated to explain so I came in person to have a consultation with her and she took all my notes and changes really well, even for some parts that were pretty confusing (especially the skeleton). She sent me the design a week before the appointment so I could make any last-minute updates and was helpful when it came to deciding on placement/size for the piece. Ive already recommended her to my best friend and would recommend her to anybody else!!

I LOVE THIS PLACE. The ladies are so nice and helpful. I am omw to them today to get my nose piercing replaced because I got it done 2 months ago. I almost passed out and they gave me snacks and Dr Pepper until I was good to drive. I hope they dont recognize me🤣🤣🤣. Anyway, highly recommend for piercings.

I love the new shop. Rachel gave me a rook piercing and it looks wonderful. She is quick and skilled and made the whole experience easy. There were so many choices for jewelry too, it was hard to choose. The shop is friendly and airy, definitely not like a typical tattoo shop. I plan on returning often for new jewelry and maybe a few new piercings.

Was looking for an APP Certified piercer in the DC area, and this shop looked great! It was right next to the Dunn-Loring Metro station, which was incredibly convenient. Rachel was great! She answered all questions and was very knowledgeable about the piercings being provided. I will definitely be coming back for future piercings!

This place/the employees made me feel so at home and comfortable the entire time I was there. I got two tattoos by Ozzie; she was SUPER easy to work with and so friendly. The tattoos looks amazing! The price was good and she allowed me to take my time in getting the design/placement right. There was no rush or stress. Ozzie has done about 3 tattoos for me so far and they have all healed/turned out incredibly. They are very reasonably priced as well. All of the other employees here are also lovely to talk to. Rachel has been my favorite piercer for forever! She always makes sure that the experience is as seamless and fun as possible and I LOVE the location. Im shocked at how terrible my experience was here. Ozzie was supposed to be my tattoo artist, but she decided to abruptly drop me after I paid the $100 non-refundable deposit. I was expecting to collaborate with an artist to create a custom piece, but thats clearly not the type of work shes interested in and will only do what she wants to do.After I asked to make some minor revisions, she emailed back saying thats fine but shed need more money to update the drawing. I agreed and was about to send over another deposit, but then she emailed back saying nevermind and shes not doing the tattoo anymore. I dont even have a guess why one minute it was ok and the next she refused to work with me.Each time I met with her she scheduled other appointments during our meetings, so I felt very rushed. All my questions seemed to annoy her. I was asking for a small/medium tattoo, but it was clear she was only interested in other clients paying more for larger pieces. She barely did the bare minimum for me in preparation for this piece and was rude every step of the way. If you want to have any say in your tattoo, or just feel like youre allowed to speak, Id highly recommend another shop.

Had Sierra tattoo a piece I’d drawn and she did a PHENOMENAL job and was very accommodating with my indecision about placement. She was super friendly and so was the whole atmosphere of the shop. My sister and I enjoyed chatting with her and Ozzie a bit as well. Very talented artists with great customer service. Will definitely be coming back!

Had an amazing experience and they absolutely turned my day around! Did a walk-in with a doodle/sketch my wife had done of our dogs and Ozzie translated it perfectly to my skin and added blue exactly how I wanted!! I love it and my wife is obsessed! The studio environment was warm, welcoming and full of goddesses!!! Will be back within the week for my wife to get a piercing!

Rachel at Wicked Goddess is AMAZING!!! Hands down, best piercer I’ve ever worked with. She has done fifteen (and counting) piercings for me. She takes the time to listen to what kind of look I’m going for, offers ideas about placement and jewelry, and pierces with patience and confidence. She explains the process and the sensations with each piercing so I know what to expect, and she is always spot on. She’s also done microblading for me which has made a huge difference with my eyebrows. I constantly get compliments on my unique piercings and beautiful jewelry, and I can’t wait for my next piercing from Rachel. She’s freakin’ fabulous!!!

My partner and I went into Wicked Goddess and had a wonderful experience with the amazing and outstandingly talented tattoo artist Sierra and all of the staff! I came here for piercings. I got my lobes and upper lobe done. I dont remember the fancy word for it. The shop is very cute and clean. The staff was friendly, and my piercer (?) was such a sweetheart. They had a chicken plush doll I could hug for comfort 😁. Its woman owned, so very happy to support them. Ill come back to get a tattoo.

I have never felt so comfortable at a tattoo/piercing shop before. I got my 18th piercing here and now it will be my go to piercing place. I honestly love their decor with their ability to keep it sanitized, the vibes of my piercer, and knowledge (APP certified), also located in a nice area (I drove 30 mins).

3/5/23I met two ladies today at the shop. Rachel Mantha is the first person to greet me. I then heard a voice talking to me from behind me. Kristen sat at a table with a big smile on her face. Both ladies have great personalities from what I saw. The ambience I felt is positive and not hostile like some places I have been too.Kristen is the who I believe is on of the owners of Wicked Goddess was able to answer a lot of my quests while the other lady (Rachel Mantha) helped out another guest/customer. Oh! News flash, Kristen is not one of the owners from what she told me, but Rachel Mantha is.One of the tattoo artist is a lady named Sara. ( I hope she is not offended that I left the H out of the name.Sara specializes in Fine Lining and illustrated tattoos.Sara wasnt there today, but I will be sure to set up a meeting with her soon.I learned there are two tattoo artists and two piercing artists at this store. There are two private rooms and three piercing areas. The private areas can be used for either tattoo or piercings if you value your privacy. Let the artists know ahead of time if you need a private room when you book your appointment. Otherwise, your appointment could be postponed or done in public area.When you go online and set up an appointment on Wicked Goddess, prices, location of the pericing(s)/tattoo(s) will be discussed. *If you didnt know or its your first time getting a pericing or tattoo, the location and size of the tattoo/piercing can have a dramatic effect on the cost of your procedure.*I asked Kristen if the tattoo one gets is done in one sitting?This was a loaded question and Kristen answered it like a champion.The size of the tattoo is key. If it is large and in charge tattoo, the lining for your tattoo will be done first. You will most likely be asked to come back for the coloring/shading.If the tattoo is medium size or small, then there is a very good chance the the lining and shading/coloring will be done in one sitting.Depending ones tolerance of pain and the location of your tattoo or piercing, will make all the difference.I myself did not see any piercings that got my interest, but I am sure my wife might like some of the body/ear jewelry.I appreciate the help Kristen gave me.
