623 Tattoo

Mike, was a 10 star if possible!!! Very professional, honest, gentle. I had a tatoo on my neck area behind the ear, thinking I was in for a ride. The tattoo came out perfect! No gain at all!! The tattoo parlor is very clean, organized and the place to go for your next tattoo. Ill definitely be coming back!!! Thank you for making this a great experience, Mike!!!!

This was my 2nd tattoo done and the experience the entire time was so smooth. From the very beginning when I wrote them an email asking them if they could do the tattoo that I requested to asking if I could hold my girlfriends hand they were very kind the entire process. The timings felt very flexible to our schedule when I was flying from Canada to Boston. Mike made it comfortable the entire time all throughout my session from the sizing, where I wanted it on my wrist and made sure that I was ok the whole way through. I brought my girlfriend with me to get her first tattoo and my second and I could not have asked for a better tattoo artist and shop to go to. If I wanna get another tattoo and Im in the area Im 100% coming back to 623 Tattoo!! 10/10 recommend :-)

Josh was awesome and a true professional. I was a first timer and he went through the process perfectly with me and produced exactly what I had imagined. 100% will be going back.

Courtney Jo is absolutely incredible and Im so happy with her work! Shes detail-oriented and pays attention to not only her work, but also keeps an eye on everyones physical reactions to tattooing and will take a break or offer suggestions if needed. Youre in excellent hands with her!

This was my first tattoo ever after wanting one since I was in middle school, and I couldnt have asked for anything better! I was very nervous, but Mike made sure everything was okay and made sure my tattoo was in the perfect location, right size, and made sure it was exactly what I wanted. I even brought my boyfriend all the way from Canada to get tattooed here and he said his tattoo done by Mike was more detailed than his first (done in Canada)! If I were to ever get another tattoo, will definitely be coming to 623 Tattoo! 10/10 recommend :-)

Joshua is an excellent artist. This was my first tattoo so I really appreciated his patience and kindness towards my husband and I as we designed the perfect tattoo to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. His shop is clean and inviting, and our tattoos came out beautiful, just as we hoped for.💖

My car broke down and I called my artist (Courtney) to see if she’d be able to reschedule, she said “no worries just come in at any time today and I’ll be here.” That being said to me I found a ride ASAP and drove over an hour to get this tattoo, I even called again while I was on my way TO THE SHOP to confirm it was still ok that I came in at the time I told her I would and showed up at. When I walked in she came out and said she can no longer do it and “at this point we’d just have to reschedule” so I walked out and will not be back. They made me put down a $120 Deposit that I now have to get back thru the bank because they refuse to refund. REFUSE TO REFUND FOR A TATTOO I DIDNT EVEN GET.

I reached out through the website, two weeks in advance of a date to try to line a quick visit up while I happen to be in town for an event. They never got back to me. I called them when I arrived in town to see if they had room and they did not, and seemed surprised that I had tried to make a reservation two weeks prior. Maybe you will have a better experience, but definitely call the shop, and don’t rely on email if you’re super busy like me. It was supposed to be a surprise for my spouse so I didn’t want my kids or him to hear and I don’t have a ton of privacy during their workday. They are closed on Sundays and they open at noon and seem to close kind of early. Maybe I will be able to update my review in a few years when I visit again.

Went to get my first tattoo here. Josh was an amazing guy and artist. Helped incorporate everything I wanted in the tattoo and made me feel comfortable for my first time. If I ever get another tattoo, Josh is my man!

I have had work done in a few other shops and Im so glad i was recommended to Josh and his shop 623 TATTOO about 3 1/2 - 4 years ago. 623 has great pricing and is the cleanest tattoo parlor I think Ive ever stepped into. The owner operator by far is one of the best people I have ever met, he is a great artist and a master at his craft I recommend this shop and Josh to anybody and everybody that is looking for work and that has ever asked me about my work as long as hes in business you will always have mine I will not get ink anywhere else

I had a great experience with 623 and Courtney, specifically. I had reached out to ~5-10 tattoo places and would either not hear back from anyone or was given the runaround as far as making an appointment/designing the tattoo. I found Courtney through Instagram and she responded to me immediately. I told her my ideas, set up a consultation, made another appointment to check on her drawing, and then quickly scheduled an appointment. The whole experience was seamless. 623 takes every safety precaution due to Covid. Josh and their apprentice were fun to be around. And Courtney went above and beyond to get my two tattoos just right. I couldnt be more grateful for her detailed work!

I did my tattoo with Mike. He was great throughout the entire process— he was very communicative and responsive before my appt and was very thorough with the design I requested. It turned out exactly how I wanted :)Highly recommend this place and highly recommend Mike!

I absolutely recommend this tattoo shop. Owner/artist Joshua Glantz is an extremely talented artist. He is a straight shooter and will give you all options and opinions. Ive been going to see josh for years and have been sastified everytime.

I got my first Tattoo here in 2013. I was full of all these ideas and elements I wanted to incorporate into the design. As I went on to describe the image to Josh (shop owner and head artist) I could see how receptive and confident he was in executing this artwork. So I pulled the trigger and got the tattoo. Sat for 6 hrs on what was easily a 9 hr tattoo at any other shop. I got a full color skull and headdress from shoulder to elbow and it exceeded my Expectations to say the least. I couldnt believe the amount of fine line detail and dynamic vibrant colors packed into this image. Everywhere I looked i found new surprises that wowed me. 623 Tattoo prides themselves on being a CUSTOM tattoo shop and thats definitely what they are. 6 years and over 50 tattoos later I have had all of my work done here. Everything from dope lettering to fine line work as crispy as fried chicken. Ive got everything from big color thigh pieces, small bangers, American traditional, neo traditional, black and grey, color realism to tiny single line finger joints. Ive definitely tested all aspects of tattoo design and am now a walking mural of how tattoos are supposed to be done. Whatever you have in mind, they can do and do better than you imagined. The shop is extremely clean and the staff is friendly and helpful. Your really get the feeling that your just hangin out with friends while your in the chair. The shop itself has an old school tattoo parlor vibe with artwork covering the walls and music and movies going all the time. All this makes for a cool fun experience that definitely alleviates any apprehension you might have goIng into the process. If you are on the fence about getting a tattoo or coming to this shop just jump over, you wont regret it. The work speaks for itself. Ill never go anywhere else.-Ricky D.

I felt unwelcome the moment I walked in. I decided to go because Ive heard many good things about the man who works there and the shop in general. I was mistaken and wish i never went. I dont remember the mans name however he was very rude and blunt. I would not recommend this establishment to anyone, especially if you want something permanently on your body. horrible attitude and I left before we even had a chance to discuss my art.
