Five and Dime Tattoo

I went in casually one day with a specific tattoo in mind. Andrew, the shop, owner penciled me in for an appointment about a week out. The session itself was great, The studio has a good vibe, conversation flowed easily, and the artwork is top notch. I’m not sure the brand of ink that Andrew uses, but the colors pop; best ink I’ve had done.A nice touch is that Andrew hands out his own blend of healing ointment made in house. As far as tattoo shops go, this is one of the best I’ve ever had work done. If you’re from Watertown, it’s a good hometown shop to support. If your from out of town and just floating through, this is a good shop to learn a thing or two about our quaint upstate town.

So… I won’t speak for the quality or value or this place BUT I will speak on the unprofessionalism and them wasting my time. I think it was the owner I spoke to a couple weeks ago and booked to get a small tattoo touched up because some places are fading (plus I move around the country a lot because of my job so I almost never have the chance to go back to the same artists). I get here at 1pm and it’s locked. Cool, maybe I got it wrong and it was 2pm. I walk in 10 minutes prior with a guy staring at me like “who are you?” He texts his owner and when the reply comes I see the text and it says “Oh yea, I totally forgot about that girl.”Alright cool. This guy says “you can come back at 4.” Like I didn’t book this on this specific day and time because I have all the time in the world Smdh. Thanks, but no thanks. Don’t need my business.

Andrew did my mom Cindys tattoo and he did a very good job. I would highly recommend!! Cant wait to come back next year to get myself one.
