I will only ever get my tattoos done by Ink & Pistons, no matter who the artist, as long as you’re in their shop, you are in amazing hands. Seriously, the best of the best. JR is the most down to earth dude and wonderful at what he does. He does amazing line work on top of gorgeous color. He also is great at touch ups! I couldn’t recommend more!! Can’t wait to get back to west palm and book another appointment!

Great experience getting tattooed here. Store is beautiful and super clean. Got an adorable Halloween flash tattoo by Mel. She has a gentle hand, barely felt a thing. Mels line work is tight for such a small tattoo. Will definitely be back for more work in the future!

Matt was our artist at Ink and Pistons, and after this great session with him, I am only going to him for any new or renewed inks in the future. Hes great to work with during the consultation, his hand is light and amazingly accurate, and the shading is off the charts! The vibe at I & P is metal and lively. Absolutely amazing! Called to see if they could take my father and I as a walk-in. They said to swing in around 2 which we did. JR did both of our simple tattoos which turned out perfect. JR was hilarious and is very talented. He did my father first tattoo as well and now he can’t wait to come back and get more done by him. Thank you!

This is a lot more than a tattoo shop. Lots of art for sale. I have as tattooed by Matt Vazquez. He made sure I was comfortable. Had everything laid out so I would understand what would happen. Can’t say enough good about the artist and the shop.

My mother and I had the most wonderful experience getting our tattoos at Ink & Pistons. Specifically with Mel, who is so kind, talented, patient, knowledgeable, and wise beyond words. She went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and confident with our designs, even going so far as to print out different size options to choose from. She answered all of our questions over message and in person. Everything in the studio is sterile and beautiful… more impressive than some doctors offices I have seen!!! Overall such a positive and happy experience. We cannot wait to go back and get more ink soon!!!

Mel was awesome! She was sweet, professional, and gave great advice as this was my first tattoo. I gave a couple reference photos and she put her own beautiful twist on the piece and I love it! Definitely plan on going to her again in the future.

My only regret is not finding Mel sooner.From the moment I reached out to her online, she was kind and professional. The appointment wait time, for the day and time I needed, was only a few weeks wait - which is nothing for a good artist. I showed her some ideas of what I wanted, and gave her the freedom to design it as she saw fit. She more than succeeded - the tattoo came out so, so beautiful. I get compliments anytime its visible, even from strangers in the grocery store. I had such a great experience, Im having her fix up a prior tattoo. Shes sweet, professional, and explains everything more than any other artist Ive been to. The entire shops staff is friendly and welcoming, and the entire shop is clean and just an overall nice atmosphere. Literally, I cannot find enough positive things to say about the shop and their artists.

My husband and I came in as walk-ins and had our (matching) tattoos done by Mel. Every aspect of the experience was absolutely A+. The shop is pristinely clean and its an overall awesome space. I got a tattoo done by Mel a few weeks ago when I was visiting the area from New Jersey. It was super easy to make an appointment before I flew down, and the appointment itself was even easier! Jake Drone is the nicest and sweetest guys ever! I got my first tattoo done by him. My friend and I walked into this shop after getting awful vibes from others and we were pleasantly surprised. Love it, professional real artists who have an eye for art and how its going to look on you. Clean, like immaculate - health certification on the wall, answers all the questions you have, disinfects all surfaces before then in front of you again. Listens to your input and works very hard towards your description of what you want. Appointments are super easy and they are very affordable for the quality of work they do as well. Got my first tattoo here and my second wouldnt go anywhere else. All the artists are amazing but I personally like Jrs style for me. Would definitely recommend to friends for sure.

Being new to FL I had no idea where to even start looking to get more tattoos done. Luckily, I happen to be in the neighborhood and discovered Ink and Pistons Tattoos and Piercings. The staff was very friendly the moment I walked in and I noticed how clean the shop was. I met with artist, Adam and showed him what I was interested in getting. I got my tattoos done by Adam and am so very happy with the work he did! He is a true professional and took his time in doing the perfect job. Im from Upstate NY and moved down here to South Florida recently. I wanted to get a tattoo Ive been wanting for a while now. Something on my arm, not too big but not too small and some font. I googled and did some research on their website and had very good vibes about this place. I walked in on a thursday asking for a price estimate and they instantly were willing to help me and were super friendly which I loved. They got me in the chair that day which I loved because tattoos are kind of spontaneous for me otherwise I will second guess it and/or will put it off. Jake gave me a great decent price that I could afford and took care of me! Great service here. These guys definitely all seem to love their job also, which makes any business, career and experience even better. My experience was great and my tattoo came out perfect just like the picture I brought in, if not BETTER. Great after care information on taking care of your new tattoo also. If I end up wanting another, this is the place I will go. I never write reviews either and this just might be my first one, so that should prove how happy I was with this place. Hope you enjoy it also!

My first experience at Ink and Pistons was with Jake. I wanted a cover up of a twenty-one year old tattoo. I gave him a vague idea of what I wanted with very little time before my session. He took what I gave him and came up with two beautiful designs. His placement was perfect and he has stellar technique. I am beyond pleased!

I recently got a tattoo for my Birthday. I researched tattoo shops in West Palm Beach and totally went with Ink and Pistons. The shop is spotless and didnt look like a biker bar. I met with Jake about what i wanted and did an amazing tattoo on my side, of a silhouette of a tree. It was great working with Jake on my design. I highly recommend them. I found JR and ink and Pistons tattoo simply by asking someone I saw, with an incredible tattoo, where they got it. I have been looking for someone to do a large piece. You take a great leap of faith when you have someone tattoo a good portion of your body. the slightest mistakes can make your life miserable. The biggest problem was finding an artist who can help me create my tattoo. . You can tell that JR is not just a tattoo artist but he is an artist who tattoos, by his paintings throughout the shop. The tattoo JR did on the front half of my body from waist to topOf my shoulder was not only incredible it was better than I expected. I brought my idea to many shops throughout Palm Beach before finding JR. He was the first and only tattoo artist who understood what I wanted. His use of colors and where he places them overwhelms me every day I look at it. Since then I have had JR do a cover-up, and Bring back a very old tattoo that was fading. He not only brought it back to life but added to it and made it even more amazing. Recently I had JR do a large piece covering half of my back and I must tell you I could not be any happier. The artists are next level talented, especially @adambee, the shop is clean and very well put together and the owners are the epitome of entrepreneurial professionals and will make you feel at home. The gallery space in the back has amazing mixed media hanging in every corner, which is almost enough to keep you distracted from the real work that goes on here every day. My time here was well spent and I cant wait to come back!

Chris is the man !! I’ve been wanting a tattoo since I was 13. When I was 16 my mother passed away and she pretty tatted herself. So I wrote down the idea of my tattoo and when I turned 18 i realized I still really wanted it. I came in he took one look at my reference and said “ I got you girly”. I put down a Deposit and sent him my reference. Was so excited that that I asked if he could squeeze me in a earlier date. ( was able to ) so the days comes and I’m so EXCITED. Shows me some designs and drew some out as well. We agree on the size and boom we’re starting the tattoo. For anyone wondering I did a Rose and hydrangea piece on the front of my thigh. He was kind, professional and walked me through the entire process. I didn’t get to tell him the roses were my moms favorite flower and hydrangeas were mine. I was in tears when I got home and could really check my tattoo out. It was Beautiful.Currently saving up for my next. WOULD RECOMMEND ANYDAY

Finished tattoo looked nothing like the picture I wanted. Cover up was a small tattoo above my ankle that was over 20 years old and very faded with hardly any color left in it. Am going to have to go to another artist to fix it when healed. Very heavy handed on the needle. Would definitely not recommend and if I could give 0 stars I would. I have several other very detailed tattoos and one of them is a cover up also. Days later my foot is so swollen I can not even fit a sock on my foot.

I received my first tattoo here (many more to come; thats how happy I am with mine!). My tattoo artist was named Jake, and he allowed me to feel very comfortable and safe in the shop. The shop is very clean and very satisfying to the eye. I had alot to look at while I was getting tatted; meaning, the art that they had up on the walls was beautiful and intriguing. Jake thoroughly informed me of everything I should know of how to care for and clean my first tattoo. After he was done, he shook my hand, told me I am now a certified bada**, and I left feeling very content and excited to show off my new tattoo!!

Jake was really cool. He is the real deal. Total artist. Total cool ass experience from a person that was really legit and communicated really clearly. I went to four shops and passed until ink and pistons. Each artist has their own station and its professional. I thought jake was a really experienced artist and his own artwork was bad ass.

Ink and Pistons is legit! From the clean and professional atmosphere, to the unbelievably talented artists. @adambee has super skills and I cant wait to come back. There is also a gallery space in the back and the caliber of muti-media art hanging in every corner is second-to-none. Amanda and JR have really created a special place here and I consider myself lucky to have had the privilege of spending some time in this amazing space.

Ive been getting tattooed since the 90s but this place is top notich not only is everyone a master of their craft, they are the cleanest and most professional place. After getting a tattooed for my sleeves removed to have them done it all over!
