Wonderful piercing experience! They did such a good job giving me information, helping me calm myself, and with their selection of jewelry. I got 4 done in one sitting and they made it worth it with taking time for placement and getting it right. He listened to my concerns and made sure I had a placement that both of us could agree on (his expertise and my preference). Will absolutely go again should I need anything else pierced lol.

Awesome artist (Balthazar) and great atmosphere!Called beforehand to make sure they could take my fiance and I for a walk-in appt. We are from CT and wanted to get small matching tats to commemorate our trip to FL. The woman who answered was polite and assured us they had an artist who could help.We showed up 15 minutes later and we were introduced to Balthazar. He took care of us right away. We decided on a small abstract gecko. He took the idea we found and got started.Line work and shading is great. The color is great. He put his own little twist on the shading too that looks awesome.Overall a great experience and a very easy artist to work with and chat with during the session. If we are ever back down this way we will be stopping in again. Thanks Balthazar!

Baltazar is absolutely AMAZING! His vibrant energy made not only my sisters piercing comfortable, but also for helping me decide which jewelry to pick for my nose piercing. We have now been here a few time. I had piercings done by Baltazar. Very professional and informative. Went through all the steps and showed all jewelry/tools with sanitation wraps and expiration dates.The main reason for visiting this studio was to update a tattoo from 99. Ruben was my artist. He transformed my dated piece into a masterpiece. I was very picky and nervous about it. He made me feel at ease. I love my new artwork. Thanks so much.

I got a fine line tattoo at Beyond Ink and had an excellent experience. Balthazar was very kind and professional and made me feel very at ease. He did a beautiful job on my first tattoo and I would absolutely go back. It was a sterile environment and the process was very efficient and also personal. I had a younger girl with platform boots do my ears the other day I didn’t get her name unfortunately but she was wonderful very professional very bubbly and kind she showed me everything was sterilized. Showed me the placement and it was good she distracted me from the actual piercing part and it felt like chatting with a friend 10/10 recommend getting pierced by her. 💕 🐈 🐈‍⬛ 🐱

As much as it pains me to say I would not recommend getting any intricate piercings here such as nipples. I wasn’t going to leave a review but then decided to do so as I wish I would have seen one like this. Over a year ago (July 2022) I got my nipples pierced here by James. While the shop was clean and very professional the piercing was not done correctly. My piercing was pierced way too deep. I assumed it was just taking longer to heal. James mentioned that I would need to change the jewelry as it will be come to big after healing. What really happened is that jewelry was always too small and I had to change to a longer bar because it was pierced so deep which was uncomfortable and lead the piercing to migrate. I had to take them out which really upset me but I hope to get them done again. All in all I would recommended going to a different shop for a piercing like this.Edit: so as seen the response to this was “I’m sorry you had this problem a year ago and didn’t reach out” why on Gods green earth would you put the blame on me? Instead of acknowledging you pierced me wrong? Correction I had them a year and at the end of that year is when I took them out. I’m not a professional piercer. I didn’t know anything was wrong until it was bad! And after realizing James pierced it wrong I wasn’t going to see out more advice from him. So no you will not blame me for taking time to realize that, it also appears you are not a professional piercer. A lot of the after care advice you gave me was actually so crazy. I recently got them re pierced and wow all I can say is DO NOT GET INTRICATE PIERCINGS HERE!!! maybe a lobe but after going to a different piercer I realized my first experience was actually so wrong. Not to mention I was supposed to get pierced by a women and show up to a man.

I’ve gotten multiple ear piercings here and have always had a great experience. Recently, the small ball on my cartilage piercing fell out so I went back to get it replaced. I went in ready to pay for a new piece of jewelry but Ruben replaced the piece I lost for free. Highly recommend this place!

I got my nose pierced by Balthazar today and he was amazing! He showed me that the needle and tools were sterilized and the expirations dates. Very professional had an amazing experience 10/10!

Gave her one instruction and she couldn’t do it. I pierced my own ears in high school but one was always slanted so eventually I let them close up and went here to get them repierced and I told her this one isn’t in the right spot straighten it out and she did the exact same thing

I chose Beyond Ink based on the reviews about Balthazar, his professionalism and the time he takes with his customers. I totally understand the hype! 10 out of 10, would recommend and go back to him again. We were walk-ins and he greeted us right away. We were only there, in total for about 20 minutes for a piercing. He showed me the expiration and sterilization dates on the needle and jewelry. He was thorough, but quick. You can tell he’s been doing this for quite some time. He explained after care well, was very friendly and it was obvious that he enjoys his job and is gracious to his customers and appreciates feedback. In a profession like this, word of mouth is your best form of Marketing. Treating people well and being good at what you do are essential and he definitely checked those boxes. So if you’re looking for someone to make you feel comfortable and give you a great piercing, you should go see him!

Went to get a nose piercing with the apprentice and she was really cool, explained everything to me and made me feel comfortable. I gave her a little bit of trouble but she still did a good job.

I had been wanting to get a cover up for a long time! When I came for a consultation, I was met by James. He was welcoming and with so many years of experience in his craft I was at peace knowing he’d help me bring my vision to fruition. Went in on a whim and decided to finally get both of my second lobe piercings. Balthazar was such a cool dude and obviously great at what he does! He readjusted the mark on my ears as many times as it took to get it perfect and explained all of the equipment he was using to make sure I was comfortable. I actually felt so comfortable with him that after he finished piercing both ears, I decided to also go ahead and get my septum done! I was feeling a little lightheaded after everything and he was very quick to recognize that. Laid me down in the chair and stood next to me holding a fan onto my face for a couple minutes until I told him I was feeling better. Very grateful to him for making my first real piercing experience so easy and pleasant, would definitely come back here for him if I ever decide to get any other piercings.

Artist didnt speak English, so had to use the other artist as an interpreter. He was busy doing a tattoo so he had to stop every sentence. The tattoo itself was good but over priced. They tried to charge me $150.00 more until I started to leave. Sorry to give such a harsh review, but wanted to be honest. I am Vickys husband. She doesnt have tattoos, except all over her face from prison and gangs. Just kidding; My wife Vicky doesnt have any ink. I kid a lot. Mo.

I had the worst experience ever getting my ear pierced. First, the person pierced the wrong piercing that I asked for had to remove and re-pierced the correct piercing I asked for. I will never return.

Balthazar was so great and informative I had a very infected bellybutton piercing. He was giving me tips on how it can heal then eventually, he took the piercing out for me because of how badly infected it was and he just made the process a lot better.

They performed the service and pierced my ears so they did what they said and it was $40 for the pair do it wasn’t a bad price. I also liked how they showed me how the supplies was new and not expired beforehand. Although the customer service was lacking. I didn’t feel welcomed and when just trying to record videos of MYSELF I was told not to. The lady at the front desk was okay but the piercer wasn’t friendly and seemed like he just wanted to get it over with. It made me feel uncomfortable and I just wanted it to be over with so I’m definitely not going back to them. Especially after coming from a different service provider right before them who was so welcoming and friendly. So I know the difference in how you can provide service. Only thing I got was my ear pierced out of it, failed at providing a good experience. I was trying to look for a home piercer and tattoo shop and this definitely isn’t it.

I got my nipples and nose pierced by Baltazar it was the best experience. He took his time to mark the areas for my piercings and made sure it was to my liking. His energy is great. The shop is extremely clean and put together. I love the availability for appointments. 10/10 I recommend if you want to get piercings done.

Ive gotten two tattoos from here, once from Dario and the other from Ruben. Both did a fantastic job. The environment is nice and clean, and I felt safe there. Everyone is friendly and willing to accommodate you. Overall both experiences I had here were very pleasant.

Went in as a walk in to get a double nose piercing and was very impressed. James was the best. He was very knowledgeable and just had an overall sweet and calm demeanor. I took my girlfriend here a few months ago and he pierced her as well, and we had the same experience. I’ve had many many piercings and he exceeded expectations for piercers. The shop itself was very clean and the person up at the desk was very kind as well.

In my research to find a good place to get a tattoo in Orlando, Beyond Ink kept coming up and ranked in the top ten places in Orlando. Then the accountant in me saw comments about reasonable prices so I went and checked them out. I have now gotten 2 tattoos in 2 weeks. Ruben did both of mine and they are amazing! One of the tattoos is an old fashioned key and the people that have seen it says that it looks so really, like they could reach out and pick it up. Both of my tattoos have far exceeded my expectations. On top of all of that, everyone there has been really friendly and easy to chat with while getting your work done.

I’ve been being tattooed by Baltazar for years now, and I genuinely look forward to coming into the shop and getting tattooed by him.He is incredibly skilled in his craft and is an excellent artist, but also a great person to hang out with during the process and make you feel comfortable.He always works with me on the designs, listens to every little detail that I ask for, and is a genuine pleasure to work with. I recommend him to absolutely everyone who asks me where to get tattooed. At least once a day someone comments on my tattoos and asks who does such incredible work!!

Update: My only complaint is that I had an allergic reaction to the nose ring. I told him I have had bad reactions to jewelry before and he assured me that I wouldn’t have a problem. I had a very bad reaction and a very ugly and painful bump on my nose piercing and when I went back to show him to get advice on how to treat it he wasn’t very helpful and showed no responsibility whatsoever about assuring me that the nose ring did not contain anything I would react to. I was very disappointed on my second visit. Not a very professional way to handle an issue with a customer.I was greeted immediately after coming in and James took very good care of me. I came to get my nose and ears pierced. I was undecided on what side of my nose I wanted my piercing and I trusted his judgement on his initial thoughts. The nose piercing was a bit painful, but not for long though. He was very nice and professional and did a great job explaining how to make sure I did what I had to do to help everything heal correctly. I really appreciated how fun and relaxed he was about the whole process. Would recommend!

Absolutely amazing!! Came here because of such good reviews and they werent lying. The customer service was great. This was my very first tattoo and I was extremely nervous, but Ruben assured me that it wasnt as bad as I thought. He did such an amazing job and I am forever in love. Will definitely be coming back here for my next!

Had a friend recommend this shop to me and Im very glad she did- the place is great, all of the artists are super talented and friendly with diverse portfolios so you can get pretty much whatever style youre looking for. All of my tattoos though have been done by Sarah, and if you dont have a dedicated artist yet you should totally check her out. Shes an amazing artist and a very precise tattoo-er, shes got a perfectionist streak that you kinda want in someone working with a permanent medium but still really efficient and considerate. Her original work is badass and if you have an image you want already she will absolutely nail it. Ive gotten 4 tattoos from her so far and shes exceeded my expectations every time, as long as shes still there Ill never go to another shop in Orlando.

Balthazar was hands down AMAZING. I went with my cousin - we stepped out of our comfort zones and went in for nipple piercings. We didn’t even question the fact that it was a male piercer and we’re so grateful we didn’t. He made us comfortable and kept the whole experience light and fun. It was surprisingly enjoyable! Would highly recommend for anyone and will definitely back my next visit! You can’t go wrong visiting this shop!

I debated leaving this review for almost a week now. Didnt want to do it at first but I feel like I have to. I went in on Friday, 9/21/18 to get a second lobe piercing. I had a lady named Butters do my piercing. Now I would have to say that my initial impression of her was that she was nice. She was polite and answered all my questions. Once we got to the piercing part, she talked me through it and we got started. The end result unfortunately, was not good. One ear was fine the other was far too close to my first piercing. I did mention it and ask about it and the reasons she gave didnt really make much sense to me, to the point that when I left, I actually came back to ask her what we could do to correct it. I know Im not a professional at this but there didnt seem like a good reason as to why my right ear piercing was done so close to my first lobe piercing. She did offer to redo them if I was unhappy with them but she said they would still be uneven no matter what. I left unhappy with the money I spent on the job that was done. The next day I went to two different shops for a second and third opinion and both people at two different shops asked me who did it before I could even get out what my problem was and said the piercing looks worse in person than in the actual photo I took. They both said there was no reason for the way it was done and that they would gladly fix it for me once I allowed them to heal/close... Ill be going to the shop that was referred to me by a friend to have them done again. Its unfortunate that I have to leave this review because Butters seemed nice enough but the job that was done was poor to say the least... Sorry.

My girlfriend came here months ago for an industrial piercing and had James do the piercing. Off the bat he was very cocky about his piercing skills which I have seen his work and no doubt some of the best work I have seen but that wasn’t the case with my girlfriend’s. She told him about her experience with an industrial in her other ear done by another piercer that was too far out where it was rejecting. He advised her to remove it and she did and she had him do the other ear and at the time it looked great but after a couple days her ear was hurting severely and from the looks after he pierced one end of the piercing in the right spot but not the other end. She contacted him on instagram to let him know and he advised to come in so he can see it and see what happened and what he could do but when she went to the shop he had already left when she told him she’s on the way and he said he was there all day. Once she got there the owner of the shop looked at it and questioned if it was James that did the piercing then removed it for her and she asked him could she get it redone for free or at a discount since he did the work and failed but was told no it would be full price. It’s honestly bad business since she tipped him more then the cost of the piercing to not be there when she was going to see him to fix it and ghost her after she messaged him back to see what’s going and what he’ll do to make things right. Just be careful and pick your piercer and shop wisely. Thank you.In response to the owners this is my experience with your shop and Im just letting the general public know thats all. Its far too late to do anything to fix it since my girlfriend took time out of her day and left work early to get there to have it fixed only to be denied and questioned by you. I find it very misogynistic of how she was treated when she just wanted it fixed to now me getting involved and letting everyone know what happened to have both of you change your minds. Please do better. Thanks.

James was AMAZING! He did an excellent job with my friend and I. She got a rook and I got a conch piercing. The rest of the staff were super friendly, the facility was super clean, and the music really set the vibe! WILL BE BACK! :)

Avery did my navel and from the beginning she was very warm and welcoming! While she was piercing me, we were talking about my plans for the day and I told her that I was going to go find a walk-in shop to get a small tattoo and she referred me to James who had an opening last minute. James was very fun kind and open to taking me in last minute. Overall everyone there is very nice they know how to treat people and they do their job right!! Very happy with my experience and my results.

I was so nervous that I was sweating, I wanted to get my nipples pierced for the longest time but I didn’t know what to expect. I walked in to this place and I instantly hit it off with my piercer, he goes by Kaper, he was so amazing and professional. I immediately felt comfortable with him and he took his time to get the placement just right and he reassured me the instruments were clean from the autoclave. After it was done, he was so great we stayed talking for a while. Definitely planning on going back for future piercings and tattoos.

Went to Florida on vacation 2 weeks ago and researched this shop before booking my appointment for 4. THEY DID NOT DISAPPOINT! The shop is immaculate, the staff very friendly and helpful. James is AMAZING and one awesome guy to boot. He did all four of our tattoos and they are absolutely gorgeous. Called for a piece of jewelry website says they close at 9 came at 850 nobody was here at least stay until the time you have posted i drive 40 minutes to make it here and it’s a waste of my time and gas i literally dropped all plans to come all the way to winter park for this jewelery

I had a wonderful experience with the piercer at this shop! I went in for a Friday the 13th and had my septum pierced. The following day I called in asking about the jewelry used and he told me to come in and he’d change it for me at no additional charge!Super professional and made me feel really welcomed in his shop!

I went in to get a tongue piercing and my boyfriend went to get a bridge piercing. The page states the prices as $40 and $50 however when we got there we were informed that it was $70 each. Fine whatever. When my boyfriend got his bridge pierced it was uneven, and when I got my tongue pierced the piercer used a normal length bar instead of a longer one to accommodate the swelling of the tongue. In which case my tongue was constantly being squeezed by the ball bearings causing a lot of pain. No matter how often I cleaned it, it wasnt cleaned enough. The swelling never went down and in which case I got it removed by a medical professional.

Really dope, clean, and nicely decorated place. Artists were amazing, but I came for my homie Baltazar. Amazing guy, has done about 90% of all my tattoos and has never missed on what I want, to the point I’ll just let the guy do what he pleases with my tats, a really talented artist and have tattoo-convos. Will definitely come back for more ink and piercings!!!

Got bf tattoos. Just small red hearts on wrists.Firstly, they messed up appointment for the artist we requested. Got that fixed after a few emails, but when we arrived, they tried to put is with another artist without even asking us if that was okay.We waited for the artist we wanted. But hearts were splotchy and not solid color at all. I reached out to shop via email. No response. Called shop. They told me to message artist on ig.I got my tattoo touched up for free, hopefully color is better this time.I have been recommending this shop to people for almost 7 years, not anymore, very disappointed in the lack of professionalism.Shop is clean and staff arent rude.

I got my first tattoo done by James. I was super nervous and he took his time with me to make sure I was comfortable and not in pain. He explained the process and gave me his input. He was even able to do a piercing I wanted right after. The whole process took about 45 minutes and it came out amazing. He is very skilled and the best person you could have for your first time. He even started drawing my tattoo before my appointment time. If I ever get another tattoo I will definitely go back to him!Also, big shout out to Avery for being so easy to talk to and being super comforting to my friend who was getting her piercing done. I’ve gotten three tattoos by two different artists here. I highly recommend them! The shop is super clean and neat. Everyone is professional but super fun. Sarah did my latest piece and I absolutely love it. I felt super comfortable around her and we got to chatting and before I knew it, my session was done. Got 3 piercings today from them (each lobe and my nostril), everything was explained very clearly and was very kind and welcoming! Used needle to pierce and helped me pick out jewelry suitable for my hypoallergies. The earring selection is also super cute!! I was so happy when I discovered Ruben and Beyond Ink. I have gotten tattoos from multiple Orlando shops in the past but Beyond Ink is seriously the best! They have good prices, great customer service, and excellent work! Ruben and the rest of the staff are always so much fun to be around. This was my very first time entering a tattoo/piercing shop and it was amazing, I was welcomed and I felt very comfortable upon entering. Avery did an amazing job with the placement of my nose piercing. I am in love with it! The atmosphere was very relaxing and very clean. I enjoyed every bit of my experience and my purchase today. My piercing was done by some trainee that I was not aware until she told me that herself. She wasnt able to put the studs in the loop, which extended the duration for my piercing, and I bleeded more than expected. It healed so badly. Talked to her so many times, and every remedy she recommended worsened the healing, leading me to urgent care to take it out and start antibiotics as it led to infection.No one took any responsibility after that, too.Not recommended

Sarah, who is my tattoo artist at the shop, is extremely friendly and understanding, and you can tell by her efforts and professionalism that she wants you to have not only the best quality tattoo, but also the most optimum experience. She takes a lot of pride in her work, and I would not want to go to anyone else. The rest of the staff there is also extremely welcoming, in particular James and Avery (these are the main ones I have interacted with in my time spent, there). Prices are also very fair. You’ll regret it if you don’t go here!

James specifically is a phenomenal staff member. He brings a sense of humor to even the most nervous of clients and is incredibly knowledgeable without being condescending. He makes me and my friends who have been pierced by him feel comfortable. He is one of the only people i trust to exchange jewelry and pierce. Everything is clean and organized, the staff is polite and are fast when receiving customers. Amazing shop tucked away on Aloma!

My friend and I worked with Sarah Doe on friendship tattoos and had an amazing experience! She is a super talented artist and really manifested our ideas with her art. Also she was super cool and patient with our changes and redrew the tattoos to our liking immediately. I would definitely recommend going to her. My husband and I went for piercings. Clean shop and great prices. I was very nervous, so Butters talked to me about the process and what to expect. She made me feel more at ease. I could not have had a better experience for my first tattoo than at Beyond Ink. Everyone who works there is very professional, nice, and friendly. James was my tattoo artist. But I also got to meet the other artists who work there, Tim and Ruben. All of them are wonderful. Even though this was my first tattoo, and I was not that knowledgeable about certain things, they never talked down or condescendingly to me, which many other artists at other tattoo studios did. And they answered all of my questions and were very patient. So that was initially what drew me in. When I went to visit the location, I was very impressed with the whole atmosphere and the cleanliness of the store. There was something very calming about it and it made you feel like you were in the best place to get a tattoo. You could tell that they really care about being sanitary and making everyone feel comfortable. Needless to say, all of their artwork is absolutely fantastic. And its fairly obvious that they are huge Star Wars fans, which makes me like them even more. James had some great input with designing my tattoo, and I am so incredibly happy with what he came up with. I got a memorial tattoo for my childhood dog, his name on my foot followed by three paw prints. I am going to love my tattoo for the rest of my life, and I am surely going to be going back to Beyond Ink for more.

Ive had two tattoos done by Sarah Doe and Ive had MANY friends that have also had tattoos done by her. She is an EXTREMELY talented artist!!!!! Not only that, but she makes you feel super comfortable from the second you walk into the shop! Ive had a few other tattoos done by other artists in the area and I can EASILY say my experience with Sarah has been the best by FAR!! Shes super communicative thought-out the whole process and is quick to draw up any ideas you might have in mind!!!! AND she can put a tasty spin on them if youd like!

Tim is easily one of the best artists in the area. As my piece was custom, he took time to discuss color and placement with me and made sure I was really happy with the design. His excitement to create the piece made me love it even more. He kept me distracted and continued conversation through out the process, making my first tattoo a great experience. I will Definitely be back!

Right away I noticed how clean the shop was. My piercer was James & he did my industrial yesterday. He was very friendly and lively from the second I walked in. He was very sure to explain to me the different jewelry choices, the healing process, and how to properly clean and care for my new piercing. I enjoyed having him be my piercer very much. He was sanitary and his great energy eased any nerves I had. I highly recommend requesting him for your piercings! 😊

I am from Massachusetts & recently went to visit family in Florida. My younger brother & were spending the day together & decided wed go get tattoos. I have quite a few tattoos already & have worked with a fair share of artists & shops. I wanted to leave this review because this shop has been by far the best tattoo shop I have been to yet & Tim is the best tattoo artist Ive had the pleasure of tattooing me. He is extremely professional, personable, funny & extremely talented. I only had a small tattoo done on my wrist this time (part of the Australian flag) however I wish I had found him sooner because I think my other tattoos wouldve looked much nicer had he done them. Hes not heavy handed, so the lines are nice & sharp, not thick like other tattoos Ive had done. He also did my brothers tattoo which was some race car Dale Earnhardt memorial tattoo & he did an amazing job, from the lines to the shading & writing. It was an excellent tattoo experience for both my brother & I. We had a lot of fun & Im looking forward to coming back for another tattoo in May.Thank you for the great experience! The environment here is very clean and professional. My girlfriends piercing was very quick and looks great. Additional jewelry is at a very reasonable price too. We chatted with Tim for a while as well and he was very knowledgeable about his artwork and tattooing. Were definitely coming back!

Went in to get a cover up done. It came out beautiful. You cant even tell there was a previous tattoo there. James does amazing work! Pricing is very reasonable. I recommend scheduling an appointment as they are very busy at times. I was planning on this being my last tattoo but if I decide on any future piercings or tattoos I found my new shop. As for piercings I personally did not get any done from here but with how my tattoo was done Id definitely trust them with a piercing. Definitely check them out. They dont have nearly 5 stars for no reason. The bad reviews are mainly because of attitude and cursing but all I can honestly say about that is its BS. Dont go to a tattoo shop if you cant handle the cursing or the fact that they are honest people. They are professional but they also dont fake who they truly are. Thanks for the great work James!!! I just had a piercing done on Saturday, and I was so nervous. When I went in I was openly welcomed and felt comfortable. I like the place it was very inviting. My appointment was at 8 pm and I was done by 8:15 pm. It was a in and out process, I liked that. I was told about aftercare, I was told about the process from start to finish for the piercing. I was able to take someone with me in the back which made it even better and more comfortable for me. I also liked that I was able to pay by cash or card, as I am not one to carry cash so I liked that flexibility. The person who did my Piercing -Reuben was very knowledgeable, he knew what he was doing and was quick about the process. I was also shocked to learn the Reuben the one who did my piercing was the owner, that made me feel good to know that he dont mind putting in work along with his staff. This was a great place and I will be back in about a week to do another piercing, looking forward to it. :)

Sarah is my tattoo artist. She gave me the confidence to wear tank tops again because she did a masterpiece cover up.I love flamingos, tropical plants & flowers and she nailed it. Very easy to talk to and helps keep the focus off the pain! The tattoo took 3 sessions and I feel it was well planned out to be done the right way for the best results.I will be returning to this shop because I know that I’ll be getting great customer service along with great quality.

This shop is amazing! Tim is a phenomenal artist and person. He was extremely fast and organized. He has a light hand that makes it really easy to get work done. Hes also a really nice person! I had a half sleeve done with Ruben and it was the most amazing tattoo experience I’ve had. My tattoo is gorgeous and is definitely a confidence booster. I got my first tattoo here done my Tim. I never thought I would get a tattoo in the first place but I had a really great experience here. The place was clean. The staff was friendly. Tim was very honest with me on what to expect and willing to create a copy of the tattoo my sister had done by somebody else. He was quick and tried to talk to me to help distract me before he started. I really appreciated his understanding and patience. He answered all my questions and provided me with his contact information for any follow up questions I might have.

Had the best tattooing experience yet. I emailed Ruben, the shop owner a week prior to my appointment to discuss the details of my tattoo. He responded quickly and set up an appointment for Saturday. The store was clean and neat when I arrived. I had zero wait time and the staff was so friendly. Ruben was amazing and was very in tune with my pain tolerance. I had work done years ago in another shop in another state that was never finished. I went to many places to check out process and handling of equipment. Came to this shop because of all the great reviews. As I entered the shop I felt very comfortable, the shop is extremely clean and the guy at the front was very welcoming and friendly. However, the best thing about this shop is James!! I came in with a surge of determination to finally get my Ashley piercing. He explained the whole procedure and answered all my questions & the piercing process was quick. However due to my carelessness and not eating beforehand I nearly passed out. James being the master of his craft could tell right away I was not feeling right and took the proper actions to make sure I didnt. He was very patient, empathic and proactive. I definitely recommend this place, not only are they professional, but they care about the safety of their clients.

Ive gone here multiple times for piercings. I got my cartilage pierced, my boyfriend got his ear lobe pierced, my mom got her lobes done and sister got her navel pierced. The piercer Avery has been super professional, extremely nice and does an amazing job at making sure that you are not nervous or scared. She is always ready to answer any questions or concerns. I 100% recommend this place.

My best friend and I had an appt today with James and got hand writing tattoos that we have been planning on for months. We couldnt be happier with the way they turned out. What a great find! I visited the Orlando area with my daughters to celebrate their birthdays. Before going I contacted the shop about use all getting tattoos. Ruben answered me email right away, and was happy to set up an appointment. There were four of us getting tattoos. Ruben tattooed my daughters and James tattooed myself and my best friend. All four of us are so happy with the results! Great shop, amazing service and talented artists. Went on a whim with my sisters and I wasn’t disappointed at all! James was awesome, cracking jokes and sharing stories the whole time, he really made it feel like a personal and exciting time! I was looking to get my septum pierced. I called and they were quick to answer the phone. Very professional and friendly. When I got there, there was a great atmosphere as well, extremely positive and kind. James was my piercer, and is one of the best piercers I’ve ever had. The piercing was as painless as it could have been and quick. I would say this is due to James’ knowledge and years of practice. I could not be happier with my piercing. James also went over aftercare and answered any questions I had. If you want to get a piercing, I would call and ask for James!

I got my tattoo done by Joel -- hes super friendly, very easy to talk to and did an incredible job on my tattoo. His lines are super straight, clean, his hand was soft and steady, my tattoo had a lot of small lines and details but he still managed to ink them all perfectly. This was my first body piercing (other than my ears) but, Avery did my naval piercing and it is so beautiful! She was extremely friendly, clean, and quick. she explained everything to me before so I felt comfortable and made sure ALL my questions were answered. This place is great from my experience and Avery in particular was kind, great, and professional.! I recommend this place! I felt extremely comfortable and I am so happy with my naval piercing!

Shop is very clean and safe. James was super helpful and was very honest about the design of the tattoo that I wanted. He explained what would work and what wouldnt, and my tattoo came out amazing! My best friend and I came back the following week to get a cover up as well (to cover lettering on her wrist), and that also turned out amazing. This was my 6th tattoo - I would definitely come back and have James tattoo me in the future!!

Had a great experience here today while getting my conch pierced! I came in during a lull apparently and was greeted and helped immediately. Butters was at the front desk and she was very helpful and nice. I was taken back pretty quickly and she prepped my ear while waiting a minute for Ruben. These guys listened to any concerns I voiced and were incredibly quick with the piercing. Even though I have other piercings, they made sure not to assume and still gave me great information on piercing aftercare. Although the plaza theyre situated in worried me a little (next to some bars and looked a little worn) the inside of the shop was very clean and organized. All in all an excellent and professional experience. Ill be sure to be back for my future piercings. Thanks guys!

I can not recommend this place enough. The staff was fantastic and the quality of service was outstanding. Butters and a man whos name I forgot (tall and bald gentleman) helped my girlfriend with a septum piercing. The man talked her though the process and made the whole thing light hearted and enjoyable. He also made the aftercare simple and easy to understand. We had an issue with the jewelry and had to replace it but Butters made that painless too. She even offered us advice on our upcoming trip to New York. 6/5 stars.

A friend and I walked in without appointments Saturday. James immediately took us back and took care of us. Im on vacation with my mom and sister and we thought it would be fun to get tattoos! We did a walk in and Ruben was available. After he was done, my moms & sisters looked good but there were a few really messy spots on mine. Tim did an AMAZING job cleaning it up for me! He was so kind and understanding. At 41 years old, I decided to get my first tattoo. In searching for a place came across Beyond Ink. Very clean studio. The artist who did my tat, Tim, was absolutely amazing. He took my vision and turned it into exactly what I wanted and even more. His artwork is beautiful and precise. He is very personable and is a fun person to sit and talk with. He exceeded my expectations and made my first experience a very pleasant one. I am in the shop pretty much every week getting a new tattoos because I plan to be heavily covered in tattoos. I met James King back in January and have been going to him ever since. He does all of my tats and he is a very reasonable and personable guy. His artwork is amazing and he never fails to take my designs and make them way better than I could ever imagined. He has done 11 tattoos on me so far in the past few months and I could not be happier with each one that he has done. The shading and color are amazing and the linework is always clean. He is always more than willing to work with everybody to make sure that they leave the shop completely happy with their new body art. I will continue to go to James King for many years to come and I look foward all of the amazing designs he has in store for me.

James pierced my belly for me. Due to the COVID situation I had to make an appointment and he made it very easy. When I got there, I was welcomed with a smile and immediately customer serviced. We got to talking and he’s very down to earth, asked me what kind of jewelry I wanted and made me feel comfortable. He reassured me of his experience when I told him I had my belly pierced previously and had surgery so I had scar tissue. He was professional and definitely knew what he was doing. It was a painless, quick experience and I will definitely be going back to him in the future.

Going in this past week I was super nervous to get my nose pierced. However, when I went inside I immediately noticed how clean and welcoming the atmosphere was! Sarah was the one that pierced my nose and she was amazing. She calmed me down and it took her a second to do it. She also answered all my questions and said that I can call with any questions or to come in whenever I need something. I was super comfortable and overall had a great experience.

Had a great experience on new years eve getting not one, but two tattoos with my mother who got 3 new ones herself. Our artist was Tim and he did a great job! He was quick and precise; clean lines and gentle to the touch compared to other artists who are heavy handed. We will definitely return in the future if we decide to get any more tattoos. Got my nose pierced a couple months ago here and had an amazing experience! Pam pierced me and was super reassuring in my decision to get my nose pierced, which was amazing since it was my first one. She was careful to go over aftercare instructions and answered my questions, even during the healing process. Overall, Im definitely recommending this place for piercings, even for newbies like me!

Went with a friend to get their tattoo, when James offered to finish a tattoo i had started. He listen to what the other artist had planned, and give me other options. I have two tattoos now, including the one I got done here. The first place I went to was nice, but James has a way of making you very comfortable while getting your tattoo done. I had a simple name handwriting done, but it was a bit painful because it was on my shoulder. He was making jokes and making me laugh right through it all. I had a piece I got done at trinity that definitely needed some help, it wasnt done correctly the day I got it. Went to beyond ink tattoo after looking online and speaking with Ruben and he did an awesome job on my tattoo! He not only redid the one I had done at trinity, making it 10 times better, but also added some amazing tattoos to it. Not only is the work good but the personality of the shop, Tim, had me laughing the entire three hours I was laying there. Ill definitely be going here again before anywhere else.

I had an amazing experience with Sarah! She did a cover up for me on my back. She made sure I was comfortable through the whole process, and her work is incredible! My tattoo turned out even better than I could have hoped for! Once this is healed I am definitely going back to get my next one!!

The lady who did my piercing was amazing!! It was my first piercing and I obviously felt a little scared. But she was extremely compassionate and aware of my needs. I felt sick after the piercing and she took good care without me even asking. Really recommend this place!

Tim is beyond amazing. I was pretty scared to get my very first tattoo done. He was extremely helpful with every question that I had. He took care of me very well the entire time. He checked up with me periodically throughout the entire progress to make sure that I was doing okay. He also made me laugh the whole visit to take my mind off the pain. You can tell that he loves his job with all his heart and soul, and wants the best for every person coming in the door. I felt like I couldnt have been in better hands. I recommend him through and through. The shop itself is extremely clean. Tim showed me the sterile needles sealed with expiration date before we started, which is comforting lol. Ill definitely be going back. Such a great first experience.

I got 2 small tattoos with Tim and he was AMAZING!!! I was set on one design but unsure about the second so he was able to put on paper what I had in mind for the second tattoo, adjusted the size a couple times as per my request and I was still unsure...he was extremely patient and helpful and let me take my time to figure out my second design. I finally made up my mind and again he was very patient with the placement making sure it was exactly where I wanted. His lines are really thin just like I asked and the overall experience was great!! Im extremely satisfied and will be back for sure as soon as I decided to get more tattoos. Thanks Tim!! =)

I got another piercing in my belly button with my nieces here on spring break from Buffalo NY. The place is super clean. James did a absolute wonderful job on all 3 of us. I got my belly button pierced here and it was the absolute worst experience ever. They pierce my bellybutton crooked, to deep, and the piercer was very rude. I would not recommend anyone here.

James was so nice and put me right at ease when getting my nose pierced! He was clean , sure of what he was doing and helped me get pass the fact that my nose was bleeding( i dont necessarily like seeing blood). The place was clean and they were more than happy to answer my questions about both piercings and my tattoos that i want. After looking at the piercing in the mirror i love it more and more! My brother and I got matching tattoos. My artist Tim took the design I made and made the exact adjustments I envisioned. We both love it. Tim is also very patient with me especially with me having a low pain tolerance. He is awesome and I would recommend him to anyone who watch a nice permanent piece of art. Tim had done almost all of my tattoos and I wouldnt go to anyone else. I even traveled almost a hour away just to have him do my tattoos because it is worth it.

As soon as I walked through the doors at Beyond Ink Tattoo I was greeted-which might I add doesnt happen as often as it should. The shop was bright and upbeat! Avery was incredible! She gave me options on where I wanted my cartilage pierced and explained how the process was going to happen. There were no surprises, and it was so quick and easy. She made sure I was comfortable the whole time. Very pleasant experience! I’m about 2.5 weeks out, and I have no ear pain or scarring.

My roommate and I just got piercing here today (she got forward helix and I got my 2nd hole) and the piercer James was amazing. He informed us everything he was doing and took his time. Tim is awesome! I went in for my first tattoo last week and he made me feel super comfortable and explained everything to me before he did it. He was super fun to talk to and seemed very invested in the work, really shows passion for what he does. The tattoo came out great and when I explained to him an idea for my next tattoo and what would be a good way to tweak the art so its more customized to how I want it, he instantly googled the picture and already had some great suggestions. Cant wait to come back and see what he comes up with for the final design!!

Just got a tattoo done with James a few days ago. I sent him some pictures of what I wanted a few days before and he had my design ready for me when I got there. He was great and easy to talk to, which made the time go quickly. He was patient and made sure I was happy with everything before we got started...and after. We’re already planning my next one! Got a Helix piercing from James. Awesome guy, kept my friend and I laughing as he got my ear ready. Also was super accommodating with my preference for a hoop instead of a stud. Super quick service for a walk in. Made sure I knew what I had to do for aftercare before leaving. Will be back to see him for future piercings. Shop was very clean and organized.

I usually dont leave reviews, but I felt compelled to do so seeing how my great of an experience I had at Beyond Ink Tattoo. My first impression as soon as I walked through the door was how clean the place was, which is a huge priority in a tattoo/piercing establishment IMO! James(my artist) was AWESOME to say the least. I had told James ahead of time 2 ideas of what I wanted done and when I made my way into the shop I was shocked at how incredible the rough draft was (on the first try as well). He made another quick suggestion and was able to incorporate the 2 ideas into one incredible work of art. We got started right away and before I knew it we were done. To my amazement the end product was EVEN BETTER than what I could begin to picture seeing that the piece was very special to me (about my kids). The whole staff there were very laid back and very accomadating, which was reassuring seeing how it had been over 10 years since my last tattoo. If youre looking for a clean place that has a friendly staff and is decently priced then I recommend Beyond Ink, you wont be disappointed!

This place is very clean and the staff is excellent. Sarah doe did two of my tattoos and she is by far the most talented artist I have ever met. She has the ability to take your idea and create the most beautiful, cohesive pieces that always exceededs your expectations. She has a huge attention to detail, she very very gentle with the needle and she is the coolest chick I ever met. The first time I met her she made it so comfortable and she has the best humor. I follow her on Instagram and I’m always blown away by all the pieces she does, also the artwork she has at her station you can look at for days, it’s amazing! I recommend her to absolutely anyone. Absolutely phenomenal!!

Id been looking to get my ears pierced for a while now and finally pulled the trigger last Sunday. After a quick Google search I found Beyond Ink, and was blown away by all of positive feedback they had. So I choose to go to them for my piercing. My friend and I went to get piercings changed out and new lobe piercings for her. We were both comfortable with James (the piercer) and he was funny, nice, and straight to the point. Emailed a Very detailed description of the tattoos we wanted including pictures and a written description of ink color, placement etc. and was very specific. We had originally wanted a different artist but was told James was one of the best and had an opening. So we figured no problem. He was friendly and all but I dont think he even read our email. Did not have the colors we wanted and were told he could make the one a bit darker but didnt have the time to be mixing ink...we had an appointment, how do you not have time? We were told the placement we wanted we wouldnt be happy with so that got changed as well. We were also quoted 70 each and it ended up being 80 each no really a big deal except he tried to convince us not to fill in as well but we stood firm on that, we should have stood firm on all of it. What was the problem if we gave such a detailed description of what We wanted in actually giving us what we asked for instead of what you thought was best! We were so excited to finally get our family tattoo but with where its placed I cant even see it without bending my arm up and again its not what we had said we wanted, what we put thought into.

I got a tattoo today done by Joel, he did an amazing job! He was really fun to work with, friendly and great conversation, his hand was steady, all his lines are very clean, and I adore his art style. Definitely recommend him for a tattoo.

I got my nose pierced here and had a great experience! Ruben did a great job and made sure it was exactly how I wanted it. The customer service was fantastic. I’ve been tattooed by Sarah multiple times and can say she is honestly the best person in the state for me. I have yet another appointment with her to finish out a full sleeve and work on another piece and can not wait for more additions down the road.The store itself is clean, and the rest of the staff will talk with you if they aren’t busy, or just turn on music to keep everyone occupied while getting their tattoos.They are very good about aftercare, which is something I don’t find at other places. My body rejected ink (not the fault of Sarah) and I ended up in the doctors office. Sarah and I were in constant communication which not only helped for my doctors visit, but healed my tattoo in a matter of a couple days.Always free touch ups and they always welcome abstract ideas! I cannot speak for everyone in the shop, but Sarah is definitely the best.

Went here for my first facial piercing (nostril) not only were they quick to answer the phone and any questions I had, once I got there Ruben was friendly and helpful. When I had arrived he was busy working on a tattoo but was still plenty helpful and professional. He ended up being the one to pierce me and did a wonderful job.

I have gotten five tattoos at Beyond Ink. The first was from Tim, then I returned to him for the next three because he does a fantastic job. Unfortunately, Tim moved to Virginia, but I returned here to get another one because it was the only place I knew in Orlando. Reuben did the fifth one and I was thoroughly disappointed in his work and his customer service. Not only did he audibly complain while he was working on me, but as the tattoo has healed it is more apparent that the lines are not exactly straight and honestly the tattoo looks blotchy and fuzzy. I spoke with James while I was there and he was friendly and actually seemed happy to be there so I give them an extra star. I intend to travel to Virginia solely to see Tim so he can do my future tattoos. The place has really lost something by losing him and I’m sad that I can’t give a better review. Sorry!

A couple days ago I went in to get a cartilage piercing. The place was clean and put together. Pam did a wonderful job with my piercing and showing me how to take care of it. She was extremely kind and funny, along with being very talented! I was recommended by a friend to go here, and I agree that it is a great place! I have even started telling other friends to go here.

I had an excellent experience here to get my cartilage. At first I was hesitant because of the looks of the plaza, but the employees here know what they are doing. It’s been years since my last piercing so I was extremely anxious, but Pam, who pierced me, was educated and did it fast where I didn’t have time to process the pain. I love my new piercing!

Beyond Ink has been amazing both times I went in. I got my nose piercing by James in 2019 and just recently went back to see him for a double nipple piercing. I was super nervous about it but james was so professional and explained everything to me and went out of his way to make sure i was as comfortable as possible.Nfn, I was also really glad to see everyone wearing their face masks in the shop (even though its not the most comfortable to get a piercing in a mask).I will absolutely be back here the next time I feel the need to poke holes in my body.

Before I was referred to beyond ink tattoo and body piercings I had my first tattoo done in New York and the lady that did it messed it up, but thanks to tim he made it look better! My last five tattoos have all been done by Tim and I love them all !! Cant wait for many more. Ruben, James and Tim are great at what they do and Id recommend them to anybody.
