Me and my group got tattoos here while on vacation, couldn’t recommend this place more. Since I joined the military, I’ve gotten a tattoo every place I traveled, Blake and Bethany were great people and even better ARTISTS! Glad your guys shop was apart of the vacation and loved the work. Get your tats here!

What an awesome experience! Blake and Bethany were fantastic for our walk in group. The work was outstanding, lines look amazing and the color is great. They nailed the work. They were great to hang out around, and made it really easy to get my first tattoo. They just made it a really comfortable, fun experience. Definitely would go back.

Would 10/10 recommended this place. Me and my family wanted some small matching tattoos and had been looking around for awhile, everywhere was 150+ for each with no specials and nothing to work with so we were about to cancel getting a tattoo. i called and talked to bethany and i asked about how much since we were on a budget and she was willing to work with us and we immediately went to her. she was very kind over the phone and when we got there she was very friendly to me and my family along with all the other staff here. their preparation was clean and trustworthy. this was my first tattoo and she made me feel very comfortable, and they have a tradition of ringing a bell outside the balcony when you’ve gotten your first tattoo which i thought was very fun. whole experience was great and everyone was very kind. definitely recommend.

Got a piece done with Chad last weekend and came out perfect! He was a super chill dude to work with as well as everyone else in the shop. Easy going, clean shop, clean work. I messaged him a day prior to see if he could squeeze me in the next day as a walk in and he was able to help me out since was just visiting town for the weekend. If you are ever in the area and debating on a place to try out, this is the spot to go to! Will definitely be back for me!

My boyfriend and I were visiting the Grand county area and stopped in for a same-day appointment. Chad took the time to work with us on our designs and make sure everything was exactly how we wanted it. This was my boyfriends first tattoo and chad was so great with it. Very clean and chill Environment in the shop! We are both so happy with our final tattoos.

AJ saved my tattoo! I came in with a giant scarred frog on my hand, done at Black pine tattoo in Winter park, couldn’t even tell it had a snail on its back because of the ink falling out from the wound I had. Last “artist” at black pine went too deep and overworked my skin very badly. AJ fixed it for me today so I’m happy finally! He told me what items he was using and why, very clean and gentle handed. 10/10 recommend coming here! Photos are before the fix, healed ruined tattoo vs fixed by AJ.

I brought my 68 year old mom with me to get her first tattoo. We had a great experience with Bethany… she even helped us have some fun with a prank! Will return when we are back in town.

I came into the shop last month with my friend while she was visiting. We wanted to get different tattoos and messaging with Chad was so easy and he was able to get us in when we wanted with no hassle. Bethany was just as helpful getting everything set up and making sure my friend and I were both comfortable. The artwork Chad had drawn up for me was beyond what I could have envisioned. He worked well with our schedule and was able to see me again yesterday to get the rest of my tattoo finished. He made the whole process a lot of fun and I admire his work. Went in yesterday and got a behind the ear fine line piece & cute little frog tattoo on my leg by Bethany. She’s amazing - absolutely go see her. My friends and I were walk in appointments - both she and Blake were incredibly accommodating and did amazing work. Good price too - pretty standard shop minimum :)Steady hands, fun conversation and banter, straight lines, creative shading and mindful of what you’re wanting. Good placement and knowledge of anatomy (if it will look weird when you move a certain way, etc.).If you’re needing a tattoo in WP, go see them! Cannot recommend Bethany enough!!(PSA bruise is not from the tattoo … had a run in with a table.)

My husband and I both had mountain scene type tattoos done with Chad. His line work is beautiful! Chad was very friendly and professional! His intern, Bethany checked on us to make sure our drive was okay. We laughed so much and really had an amazing time at this shop!

One of the coolest places you could possibly get a tattoo. AJ, Chad, and Sasso are super fun to hang out with. They will always keep you entertained and they are extremely skilled in what they do. They are the best.

Visited this shop while on vacation. I got a tattoo along with my 2 sister-in-laws. This was my first time and Cody made sure that I knew what was going on and left me with a great first tattoo experience. When it comes to the tattoo, Cody did an awesome job and left us all extremely happy with the end results. The shop was very clean. I would love to visit again!

I decided during this winter season to get the tattoo I’ve been wanting for the past three years. Throughout those years I flipped through countless tattoo artists’ profiles across America to try to find the right tattoo artist to bring my creation into fruition. When I asked around Winter Park who they would recommend for vivid colors and neat line work, the locals assured me that AJ at Overlook Tattoo Company was the man for the job & boy was that an understatement!Initially, I was impressed by his versatile portfolio & then when I went in for my appointment, I had an overall incredible experience;AJ was very patient with me when making sure that I liked the size and placement of the tattoo, we took breaks when needed, his lines are neat, his shading is impeccable, the colors are very vibrant, and he even put on a funny movie to distract me from the pain that comes with getting tatted for 6+ hours LOL!I healed up nicely & the tattoo is everything I could have hoped for! We made day before reservations for 8 people to get a simple tatoo, and they were kind enough to take it. We had so much fun hanging out, watching some newbies get their first tat, going downstairs for a drink, checking out their cool art on the walls. This place is so dope! Chad does amazing custom work that is so clean and fantastic and Bethany does incredible apprentice work drawing up tattoos and just being awesome. We spent the day here and honestly we cant wait to come back :) 10/10 would recommend

I’m in TEARS as I write this. I was recently tattooed by Cody at Overlook and all I can say is I’m extremely embarrassed to show anyone my tattoo. The color looks as if it was done by a 4 year old with a crayon.I don’t know how they call this “professional” work when it’s easily the worst tattoo I’ve ever received. I now have to pay someone else in my town where I’m from to fix it because I do not live in the area. Paying twice for a tattoo is not something I wanted to do.I recommend doing better research so no one has the experience I had, which is atrocious.

Save yourself a lot of trouble and grief and come here first! I’ve been to 3 other tattoo studios before and have never met artists as kind, stoked, and willing to work with you as those at Overlook. The artists at Overlook each have different and unique styles that will fit anyones needs. Most of my tattoos are black and white realism nature tattoos, and for that I go to AJ. Long story short I started a floral sleeve with a different artist (who I didn’t jive with) and not only was AJ willing to add onto that work, he touched up the work that I had previously done that I wasn’t stoked on. There aren’t a lot of tattoo artists out there willing to fix other artists’ work, and this is one of the many things that are valuable about Overlook. I also really appreciate that they focus primarily on custom tattoos. It’s worth setting an appointment in order to get something that will be unique to you and just what you want! Can’t recommended these guys enough.

Chad tattooed both myself and my husband. We gave him full artistic freedom, no restrictions, just gave him the concept of a mountain range. He absolutely NAILED our pieces and we are so in love with our new tattoos! Best souvenir we could’ve taken home with us. I’d recommend this shop all day, any day. They are SO clean and take pride in their work. Super friendly too!

I came in from out of town on vacation. Did a walk in and got an awesome piece done by Chad. Absolutely awesome establishment. They make you feel super welcome and give you a quality one of a kind tattoo. Couldn’t of asked for a better experience.

I cant begin to tell you how happy I am. My brother, father, and I came out here on vacation and didnt have an idea of what shops, what times were available. Yesterday, we walked into Overlook with no appointment and met AJ who, after a quick conversation, made time for us the next day. Today, we showed up a little early and were immediately made welcome and invited upstairs to get started. AJ was not only professional, but personable as well. We all came up with our design together and all three of us were finished in about an hour. The lines are clean, the black is fresh, the color pops, and we all are elated with how fantastic the tattoo and the overall experience was. 6 stars; thank you so much!!

We had a group of three people interested in getting some small tattoos while we were in Winter Park. AJ was able to accommodate our tight schedule. AJ and his staff were very friendly. Great atmosphere. All of us were very satisfied with how our tattoos turned out. I would definitely visit AJ again next time Im in Winter Park.

Came in to Pain and Pleasure with existing work that I was hoping compliment further up on my arm. I had already drawn up a design that was pretty final, and went in to Sasso to talk about making it a reality. His professionalism was welcome and he took a pen and paper sketch and turned it into an awesome piece, no easy feat with a drawing that wasnt initially intended to be tattooed. His own art is tremendous, and his ability to translate fine lines from paper to skin is incredible. Spending nearly five hours in the saddle on a larger, detailed piece can be exhausting, but Sassos light hand made it easy and the ink has held up great in this first year. Definitely recommend, and will be going back for more work next time Im in town.

I have been tattooed by A.J and Chad. Both guys take a very professional and prideful approach to their work. I have been getting tattooed for over 20 years now. Out of all the tattoos I have, I would say the work that AJ has done is my favorite work so far. I even let him redo a large scale piece that Was one of the first ones I ever got. I have had several tattoos at Pain and Pleasure and without exception a skillful and exquisite was the outcome. Setting is very clean and comfortable. I should add that as someone in their 70s who was hesitant to have such work done on my body, all my concerns were address and the procedures went smoothy. HIghly recommended.

I have known AJ Wix for over ten years and have been getting art done by him for the past five years.I have a whole pokemon sleeve on my left arm and its all done by AJ. Carolina re-pierced my naval after over 6 years of having it out and I like it way better than before! Everything was extremely sterile and she made me feel comfortable and confident in her skills. We are lucky to have her in the valley and would definitely go back for any piercing needs.
