Black Pine Tattoo

My son and I got matching tattoos today at Black Pine, first tattoos for both of us. Craig did a terrific job. He turned our very rough sketch into a beautiful design, brought that design to life as art we’ll be happy to wear forever, and kept the experience chill for us newbies.Most definitely recommend.

I have been wanting to get a new tattoo for about a year now. While I was traveling in Colorado, I decided to finally do it! Black Pine Tattoo did a phenomenal job. The owners are the sweetest down to earth people. Not only are the tattoos beautiful, they make sure it’s exactly how you want it! 10/10 would recommend coming here and supporting local!!

5 out of 16 of us decided get tattoos while on vacation, two teens got cartilage piercings. Craig and Carolina were great! Shop is so clean and they were patient with stenciling as well as placement. They put a lot of pride in their work. I sent a general idea and wanted flowers specific to Colorado and Carolina came up with this idea. Would definitely visit again next time we’re in town!

My mom sister and I were visiting Colorado for a week and we wanted to get matching mother/daughter tattoos while we were there- it was even my sister’s first tattoo! They got us in quick and all 3 of us in the same session! Place is VERY clean and the people there are amazing! Would 10/10 recommend them!!

My sister and I randomly stopped in here to get a couple of tats and we had an amazing experience! the owner is super nice and personable, the artists there were all very friendly and had great vibes and our tattoos both came out great. definitely can’t recommend them enough, the work was clean af and the prices were really reasonable as well. definitely stop in if you’re in the area, you won’t be disappointed.

Unfortunately the shading on my hand tattoo was overworked and too deep so it refused to heal. Now I’m doing wound care and the ink is falling out. Scarred.Since we’re doing lists I got one too.(1) I’ve had four doctors and now a wound care specialist look at it (they also have tattoos) and they said it’s overworked and scarred. They also told me they’ve had other customers of yours come in for the same issue.(2) yes I have a kid whose diapers I change meaning I wash my hands as well as clean my home.(3) I have multiple tattoos, my favorite being on my foot which is a blacked out tattoo and it never had an issue healing even though I wore sandals, showered and it only took about 8-10 days to fully heal, winter time in the high desert of California.(4) I know other tattoo artists through my friends who have seen this and told me it’s too deep and overworked and my ink will fall out. The wound nurse said it looks like you took an exacto-knife to my hand because of how deep the wound is.(5) you could’ve offered to fix it but instead you opted to text me personally to tell me to change my reviews and tell me I’m absolutely wrong like it’s my first tattoo. I KNOW this isn’t right and I KNOW I took care of my hand properly.

My fiancé and I went to Black Pine Tattoo yesterday because I wanted to get my nose pierced and he wanted to get a tattoo of a drawing I made. We walked in and automatically I felt like the space was very calm, clean, and welcoming. They were both very professional but also calm and super nice! My fiancés tattoo turned out amazing and 10 times better than my quick sketch! Both of us were completely happy and would 1000/10 reccomend Black Pine Tattoo to anyone! 😊

Bro I came into this shop nervous to get my first tattoo and this guy made me feel so welcome and at home. We got lunch after the session was over and just overall one of the best experiences I could have asked for.

Craig did an awesome job for me and my brother. Mine was more complex so he had the artwork ready when I got there and it was amazing. The whole experience made it feel like Craig really cared about making the tattoo something special. Can’t say enough about my experience here to get the point across. This is the nicest shop I have ever been to hands down. It’s super clean and very nicely decorated which adds to the overall vibe and experience. Craig is a phenomenal artist and his line work is incredibly solid. To add to all of this, he took 3 clients (my family and I) on short notice while on vacation here in Winter Park. He did all the artwork we wanted and was just as excited about the designs as we were. He has a true passion for tattooing and it shows in his work. We will definitely make the 8 hour drive back just to get tattooed from Black Pine Tattoo.

Place was awesome. I am passing through town and they were able to get me and a buddy in next day. Clean shop with a very chill environment and welcoming in every way. Craig did a amazing job on my back. Yeah it hurt but it’s a spine tattoo so it’s expected. Clean lines and great shading. Also did a great job on my buddy’s sword on his back. I would most definitely recommend Craig from black pine tattoo. He was recommended to me by one of my friends when they offered to get me tattoo for Christmas. He is an awesome guy to work with. Friendly and professional and he answered every one of my questions with ease and profession. He even cheered me on and had my back when I was having moments in painful spots on my hip. He also gave me advice when I called a couple days after my tattoo. Over all hes a great easy going guy who does amazingly fantastic work and hes got a great clean nice place. Craig was awesome! I stopped in while visiting from St. Louis. I had a simple idea of a Colorado inspired tattoo I was wanting. Craig brought my idea to life and it was better than I ever could have imagined. He was able to squeeze me in even though we were only in town for a couple days. The experience was wonderful, quick and easy, Craig has a very light hand and it barely hurt at all. I will definitely be back next time we are in town.

True Professional here folks, Craig is top notch person, artist and businessman. He knows how to treat his guests, and does it very well. We called him on a Friday at 11:45 in the morning and left a message asking about walk ins by 12:25 he responded as he was in a session and by 1:30 i was in the chair followed by my bride. we are so pleased with the tattoos he did for the both of us. I will recommend him to anyone, and i will be back for another tattoo he will help me put together before our next trip out from IL.

My friends and I stopped by Black Pine on a spontaneous decision to get tattoos on a Saturday evening.Carolina was extremely accommodating and patient with us throughout the experience - she managed our constantly changing ideas and decisions without ever making us feel rushed or pressured.She worked very efficiently and completed 7 small tattoos within about 2-3 hours (and stayed past the usual closing time to finish everything). All of us were very happy with our results!I would highly recommend checking out her Instagram @carolinasea because she has some great art. I would definitely come back myself in the future for some larger pieces.Will add photos once the tattoos are healed.

All I can say is our experience was AMAZING. We were here for our honeymoon and Craig was able to fit my wife and I in before we left. The studio is spotless and the energy in the place is awesome! Sad I dont live in CO or else I would never go anywhere else for a tattoo again! If youre thinking about booking an appointment you wont regret it! Craig did a fantastic job dealing with our group tattooing expedition. It was the first tattoo for three of the four of us and he made sure we knew what we were getting. Even though we went during covid, the shop was set up for optimal safety. The tattoos ended up great and I can definitely recommend Black Pine.

Can’t speak to the quality of their services, but it was very difficult to get into contact with them. No one has been in the shop, despite the open sign, every time I’ve stopped by. I called and texted the number posted on the door several times with no response. Once I was able to get an appointment the provider cancelled an hour before after confirming it earlier that day.

Excellent and friendly service. Highly recommend this place, great prices and great people! I got my septum pierced, absolutely love it. The owner was amazing and saved me from passing out with the lollipops and water on deck thank you for accommodating and caring about your customers!

The owners of the place we stayed at during our stay also recommended Craig! Based off photos and reviews it was a no brainer. We reached out to Craig with our ideas and he responded quickly, was available on short notice and looked forward to working with us. Right off the bat his place was clean, smells good and has a really cool vibe! It fits who he is as an artist which makes things more relaxed. He is very personable and easy to talk to. Most importantly, he worked with our ideas and even made them better than what we could’ve envisioned—drawing them/stenciling then where we wanted and making adjustments based on what we wanted so that way we could be comfortable with our choice before it became official. My brother and I have been wanting matching tattoos for a while, but wanted to get them in a cool place on a cool day while he was visiting us in Colorado. Black Pine Tattoo got back to us right away, and gave us a reasonable quote and time frame (considering the last minute nature). I am so blown away by the AMAZING colors and quality! I have a few tattoos, but none that I absolutely LOVE because of the art. This tattoo is absolutely beautiful and will always be a reminder of a great friendship and a wonderful experience.

My daughter has wanted to get her ears pierced for awhile, so while we were visiting Winter Park we contacted the owners and asked about availability. They were very quick to get back to me about getting it done and answered any questions I had. I have had trouble finding a place I felt comfortable piercing my eight year old daughters ears and am so thankful I found Black Pine. The owners wife explained the process to my daughter every step of the way and made it an enjoyable experience for her! The shop was very clean inside. Would highly recommend.

Im known as Cairo and so on my trip to the Rockies I decided I wanted a tattoo on my last day. So I find Black Pine with my friends and we get our appt set up (appt only due to Covid). These guys and gals were fast, engaging, professional, and the quality is S-U-P-E-R-B. They are LGBTQI Friendly and loved that we smelled like Weed, haha. I went into this shop and the attitude of the artist just was an instant turn off. I was ready to get some work done but I refuse to get a tattoo from anyone that bad mouths the other prices that I have done. He even asked me to leave him a review before I left his store. There is better artists in the area, do your research.

The tattoo is extremely splotchy, colours arent what I asked for, my concerns when voiced were completely disregarded. The entire experience wasnt great, the artist was extremely heavy handed and kept going over and over areas leaving them to be extremely sore and most of the ink to bleed out everywhere.

The vibe at the studio is very clean, chill, and welcoming. I sent over the concept; and loving my tattoo. I’ll be back next time that I’m in Co.
