Golden Tarot Ink Club

Had been tattooed by a former artist here that left before my final touch up appointment. I called day of, and Tim called me back when the shop opened and told me about the artist having left. Tim said he had no problem taking a look and completing the touch up, honoring the appointment. Rad. I had some areas that kicked ink during the last heal. We got it knocked out in an hour and a little bit. Tim is great and look forward to working with him in the future.

Got my septum piercing done by the marvelous Stevo! he is very welcoming and super hilarious, it really makes coming in to get your body poked a comfortable experience. he was fast, informative and made it a super painless, easy process

Best place to come to if youre getting you first tattoo! Consultation was free and easy to set up. Everyone is welcoming, patient, and have a great passion for their craft. Communication was key during my tattoo process as I was able to get all of my questions answered and breaks to walk and move around was welcoming after sitting for long periods or just for the sake of comfortability. Before coming in I drew my own design and the artist (Chyloe) took my design and made something amazing! Adhering to my wants and needs, he was able to create his own piece with my requested designs! Saw a few parents with there kids as well and they adhered to the parents concerns as well to help put them at ease with any questions they had as well. Time flew by due to the great atmosphere. 10/10 always would recommend

I cannot overstate the talent found within the four walls of Golden Tarot Ink Club. When you walk into the studio, it is a breathtaking, super creative, and comfortable space. My artist (also the owner), Tim Lease, has been nothing short of a pleasure to work with. Not only is he a sweet, genuine and funny dude with a great movie taste, but he always communicates the plan for the session and ensures I am comfortable with numbing cream and positioning. He designed 100% custom artwork for my left arm sleeve and we have had a few sessions already. Watching his work come together over each session has been nothing short of a magical experience. It’s a beautiful tattoo and I cannot believe it is mine! I also recently got two nostril piercings from Steve-o, the piercer there, and he made the experience a breeze! I cannot recommend this studio and this team of creatives highly enough. If you’ve got ink-spiration and are looking for a studio with the best energy, this is the place to go.

Got my first (and second piercing) by Stevo at Golden Tarot. The experience from start to finish was amazing. He was personable, patient, thorough and overall provided the best service I could have hoped for. The space is super clean and the aesthetic Uber funky. This was my first time visiting this shop, Golden Tarot. I was nervous at first because I wasnt here for myself to get to piercing, it was for my son. I take my childrens safety very serious so I spent a little bit of time researching and talking with the staff.The Staff, Artist, and Piercers are amazing and friendly. When I called and spoke with Jess every question that I had was answered and they made sure that I didnt need any other information. The Golden Tarot truly care about what you are wanting and that you receive your desired results in the final outcome.I brought my son in for a septum piercing. Our piercer, Stevo, took the time to explain step by step what was going to happen, how it would feel, what to expect after, and most importantly how to care for the piercing. He also advised us to reach out if we had any questions or concerns afterwards.The whole process was quick, simple, and semi-painless. We made an appointment in advance which you can do on their website and is highly recommended by me.Just remember that if you bring in a minor that you talk with the Staff at Golden Tarot before coming in because you do need to have a notarized document that authorizes them to do the tattoo or piercing of children only above the age of 16. This can easily be done at your bank or even at Amscot for $10. The form is listed on their website and very easy to access. It made the whole process very simple.I highly recommend this location, Golden Tarot, on Howell Branch Road for any of your tattoo or piercing needs.Thank you Stevo!!!

Stevo was very kind and made the process of getting my ears pierced quick and easy. He went over all the care instructions and even offered to send it to us later! He even offered to even help me put new pieces of jewelry in my ears after theyve healed! 10/10 would recommend!

I got a tattoo at Golden Tarot last week, and it was a fantastic experience. During my consultation, I brought a basic idea along with some reference images. Tim, the tattoo artist, took those and created an incredible design. Not only is Tim exceptionally skilled at creating tattoos, but he also completed the tattoo much faster than I expected. The entire process was smooth, professional, and enjoyable. Would recommend to anyone looking to get tattooed.

Stevo was amazing and took such amazing care of my mom! He was very detailed on after care and was very clean through the whole process. He has great hospitality and truly cares for his clients.

The tattoo itself was amazing quality and beautiful, however it was larger and darker than what I had envisioned. I was given a piece that the artist had prioritized his own vision over mine. The predatory business practice was not it. From trying to charge me $100 cash for a touch up one (1) month after getting the piece to the price change as I was cashing out, I felt out of place, taken advantage of, and let down.edit 9/17: no response since, see image. this shows where they draw the line.

Staff was friendly and I absolutely loved my tattoo! It’s cash only, but that wasn’t a problem since they had an ATM on sight. I was super nervous but it was done quick and easy. The only thing was that I paid over 500 bucks for a tattoo multiple people told me I was overcharged for. Each tattoo artist has their own rate though, so I kind of understood.

Got my tragus and third lobes done by Stevo. He’s extremely informative I am happy with how my piercings came out. I got my first and second lobes done at Claire’s and they were not even at all. He made it work. Highly recommend! Planning to get my daith done soon with him.

Just finished my first session for my Pokemon Thigh Tattoo Ive been wanting for years. We got the outlines done and the main focus of the peice done. After almost 6 hours with Destiny I decided to book a second session to finish the last parts. Thank you for making my first major tattooing process (my first tattoo was a small one that took 3 minutes) easy and as pain-free as possible!

I got my helix pierced by stevo and it was a great experience. It was my first cartilage piercing and stevo made everything simple and comfortable. He explained everything and talked me through it. As a memorial piece for my uncle who passed in 2013 from suicide, I had three major elements that I wanted to be represented and Tim really is a master of his craft. As an artist its always a treat to watch another take a concept and make it their own. The shop is beautiful, clean and welcoming and there is some major talent found inside from all the artists. Will definitely be returning in the future!

First visit today to Golden Tarot Ink Club for a piercing with Stevo. Reserving the appointment on the website was super easy. On arrival, received a warm greeted by everyone. The studio was is beautiful - clean, orderly, and great design. Consultation with Stevo was comfortable & genuine. We chatted through ideas and considerations, then we said lets do it! There was no pressure, no push, no hard sell for more than I needed - overall it was an entirely comfortable experience. Piercing created a triple lobe stack over and under the 2nd lobe piercing that was already there - which looks great! Will definitely go back if I need to scratch that piercing itch again

I came to this shop specifically for Stevo as I went to him for an eyebrow and belly button piercing at his old shop. He was very respectful and funny as well! He did a great job with our piercings! I got my lip pierced, and he made great recommendations! I tend to avoid one star reviews but I will never go here again. I got my nose pierced here in January of 2023. My piercer pierced my nose with a hoop that needed to be shut with pliers. This was my first nose piercing ever and it should not have been done with a hoop as they don’t heal right and tend to get infected. It should have been a stud. I did not know at the time but I recently got my jewelry switched (at a different piercer) and it’s known in that community that hoops are not for a first time pierce. That is a big red flag and demonstrates malpractice at this facility. I recommend to anyone that you should go somewhere else and don’t trust these people with your body unless you want a potentially horribly pierced and infected piercing.

Best tattoo shop I have ever been to! The place was super clean and organized and everyone in there was extremely nice and made me feel very welcomed. I got a tattoo done by Colin and I could not be happier with the way it turned out. Also, the prices are very reasonable for the quality of work they do. I will definitely be back in the future and cannot recommend this place enough!

I had the most wonderful experience with Jess at Golden Tarot. I booked my in-person consult online and met with her the day after, and she is such a sweet, genuine, and fun person to talk to! She listened to my request for the Soul Eater sun and moon with excitement, we talked placement and price, I placed my deposit, and I was back in a few days to get them done!As for the tattooing experience, it was so comfortable and welcoming, they have a lovely waiting area, I was offered water while Jess got set up, and then we were on to stencil! I didn’t go with numbing, but it is offered on location! Jess has a very gentle hand, I was practically falling asleep in the chair. She checked up on me through the entire thing, made sure I was situated comfortably, and gave a break period between pieces to walk around and gain feeling back in my legs. The total time was around 4 hours, exactly what she estimated during the consult, and it was genuinely such a lovely time. I’ll update with post-saniderm pictures in a few days, but I am so incredibly happy with how they turned out. I can’t wait to book with her and Golden Tarot again.

Such a solid shop with talented artists. And the piercer was great. Came here twice in 1 week. My wife got her nose ring changed out and the next Friday she got tattooed. I got a tattoo on my upper arm by Jess and she did amazing! I was able to explain what I was wanting and she saw my vision. She was considerate of what I was wanting and where I wanted it. She even offered me a numbing spray to make my experience better! While I was there, I was able to have Steve-o change out my nose piercing. One had given me trouble in the past, and he was able to change it with ease! I love the vibe of this place and will definitely be returning!

I got a tattoo from Lorynn about almost a year ago! It healed very well. Everyone I’ve talked to in the shop is very nice. They ask you if you want anything to drink or if you’ve been help. I also got my conch piercing about a week ago and it went very well. I was given proper advice and was told about the earring I’m getting and stuff. I definitely recommend this place. I’m usually scared of going to places by myself, but you won’t feel out of place here. They all seem to mind their own business too and make you feel welcomed.

I had no idea until I came into the parlor that they were done incorrectly but Stevo fixed them and made the experience A LOT better than my first time.
