Absolutely amazing. So professional and helpful. It’s so obvious that this shop exists to do what they love, not make a quick buck. I have a HUGE phobia of needles but I felt totally calm and safe. I live 4 hours away but would happily drive back here if I ever decided to get another piercing.

I had a fantastic experience here! I am super sensitive to jewelry and need hypoallergenic metal. Nic found a width I liked, and made my hoops in front of me to fit my ears! It was very interesting to watch the jewelry being made in front of me. The shop is very cute and comfortable, and Ive never felt so at-ease in a piercing shop.The entire appointment took no more than 30 mins, and the prices were amazing, especially for the quality you get. I will be recommending this spot to everyone!

Got my helix pierced by Inez yesterday and it was such a lovely experience! I booked a last-minute appointment and felt so at ease from the second I walked through the door. They helped me pick out the perfect piece and walked me through the whole experience without making me feel patronized, even calling the piercing needle “the sharp” to make it feel less scary. If you’re looking for a safe space both physically and mentally to get pierced in Asheville - this is it!

Nic is the absolute best! My daughter and I went in for Mommie/Daughter nose piercings. He was very patient with us and made us feel comfortable. The vibe is very chill. I had an Oops a couple weeks after and tried to get help close to home. Nope, I drove the 2.5 hours back to Bella, and once again, Nic took care of me. Thanks a million! A very satisfied customer.

The space is so beautiful filled with their handmade jewelry and other items from local artists, and their piercing space is the best I’ve seen in 15 years of being pierced! Beyond clean and comfortable. Inez was so kind and took any nervousness away! I won’t go anywhere else again!

This place is amazing! I HIGHLY recommend Nic. He was patient with me, walked methrough everything and gave me so many words of encouragement. Super cool, down-to-earth guy. They place all of the stones used in their jewelry by hand which makes me appreciate my piercing more. 10/10

On a trip to the mountains this spring I stopped here and got a conch piercing from Nick. It was a beautiful little shop, high quality jewelry and lovely service. I felt really welcomed and had a great conversation with the piercer. It healed great, and I definitely recommend this place!

They book by appointment, however I walked in to browse the jewelry and Alan happened to have time to switch out my double helix jewelry. He was nice, very knowledgeable, and kindly answered all my questions. Even made recommendations based off my ear anatomy. The jewelry is high quality and made in house. Easy to talk to and even graciously made and adjusted the size of the ring for my helixes. Will definitely be coming back to get pierced as soon as I can!

My mom and I absolutely love Nic! He was patient and funny and made the nose piercing process not as scary for either of us, was up front about the simplicity of upkeep and overall was a joy to be around! Any black people thinking of getting pierced, ask for Nic! Also, my mom knocked out her piercing on accident and came back to Nic for a new one and it was free! Highly recommend Bella Jewlery! I visited on 06/29 during a trip to Asheville. Bella was recommended to me by Zen Ink when my friend was interested in a piercing that Zen wasn’t able to do for her that day. Booking was super simple. When we got to the shop Inez was finishing another client but took the time to greet us warmly and make sure we felt completely welcome in the space. Another one of my friends was considering a septum piercing, not only did Inez take the time to help her understand how the piercing itself would feel, but even recommended that she try getting an imitation septum ring to feel out if she liked the aesthetic before committing to the piercing. That’s super refreshing in a time where most businesses put profit over education. I absolutely adore how they helped me pick the perfect jewelry for my daith. Everything was handled with an amazing level of care and immaculate sanitary procedures. Inez took the time to perfectly place my markings and ensure that the needle being used caused the least amount of trauma to the ear. They walked me through the entire process ensuring that my comfort was the top priority and that I left with a gorgeous result! I went for a consultation in order to get info before my daughter and I came in for piercings. Alan was extremely knowledgeable and polite. He was very easy to talk to, explained everything I needed to know, and created an overall great experience. I had only come in for info, but actually left with a nasal piercing. He was very professional with the piercing and there was almost no pain. The jewelry selection was incredible! Lots of things to choose from with different design styles as well as price points. I will definitely be going there again with my daughter, even though we live in the Knoxville, TN area. It is worth the drive!!

Nic could not have been kinder when I went in to see him today. I made an appointment for a 6 month old piercing - that Id originally had done elsewhere - and it had gotten inflamed all of a sudden. He was so welcoming, so helpful, saved the piercing, and showed me how to change other piercings out that Id had done previously. SHORT VERSION: Bella Piercing is verified by the APP (Association of Professional Piercers). Theyre clean, kind, professional, and even sell beautiful custom piercings handmade in store. I have yet to meet Alan, but Nic is awesome!!LONG VERSION: The first time I went to Bella Piercing, I had previously gotten my helixes and septum done at a local tattoo shop. That piercer put in the same cheap, externally threaded horseshoes in all three piercings. If you dont know, piercing helixes with horseshoes is a recipe for disaster, and a few months in they were extremely inflamed with big irritation bumps on the back, and werent healing properly.Nic replaced them for me and I got beautiful handcrafted amethyst piercings from the store - this time with high quality flatbacks. He also made me a beautiful minimalist rose gold septum on the spot. I asked about new piercings, and Nic advised me against them against his own financial gain, in favor of making sure the ones I did have healed properly.He was really nice, and he happily answered all my questions - including some very obscure ones.This time when I came back, the swelling had gone away and we shortened my flatbacks. And with my septum now healed, he pierced my second lobe for me with a store-made moon piercing. He was very clear with me when working out the placement, and vocally informed me any time he needed to touch my ear - which I greatly appreciate. If you are a woman, you will feel safe and comfortable in this place. The piercing was done quick and easy.Bella Piercing is awesome and as long as I live in North Carolina, this is my piercing shop.

Alan pierced my nose and he was incredible. I’ve only ever had my lobes pierced and was very nervous about having my nose pierced. Alan was very knowledgeable and it was super cool to know that he handmade the jewelry that he was piercing me with. He explained everything to me throughout the process and asked before touching me and piercing. He was super sweet and put me at ease, making conversation to distract me because I was nervous. The piercing ended up being quick and not very painful. It was over before I knew it and I walked away with a great new piercing. I’d definitely recommend, especially for anyone with sensitive skin as the jewelry is all nickel free and made in house. Even though I live in Knoxville, I’ll definitely be back for future piercings!

So Ive been getting pierced here for years and from the get go I always felt at ease. Going to places like this can be intimidating, but the staff are always friendly and happy to answer any questions. Their jewelry is amazing and all made with real gold (yellow, rose, and white). So many options and 100% worth it if you have sensitive ears. I believe Ive gotten pierced by all current staff at this point, and I have no complaints about anyone. This last time, Inez was amazing. They actually talked me through what I wanted and made sure to let me know that what I did want probably wouldnt be the best option for my ear anatomy. They helped me decide on some different options and I walked out with three new piercings. Cannot recommend Bella enough to be honest and you wont go wrong with any of the staff because theyre all incredibly knowledgeable and wont do you dirty.

Amazing experience! 9 years ago I had gotten my second earlobe holes pierced and it went terribly. They weren’t done well and never healed. I’ve been nervous ever since to have them redone but finally decided I wanted to pull the trigger. After I found Bella Piercing online I knew that was where I wanted to go. I was pierced by Nic and he is so awesome. He’s super nice, walked me thru everything in detail from start to finish, and made me feel super comfortable. I plan on coming back later this year to get my Helix re-done. Alan ,If there was a way to give you 100 stars I would !!I would definitely recommend this reputable piercing studio !!They are so kind , educational , and patient.As a first time piercing client and new to the industry Alan eased me into the process. He answered all my questions and took time to show me on a model ear.We ended up deciding on an industrial and two bottle lobe piercings.Everything was so sterile and clean , especially with COVID precautions. I felt safe in the shop.After the initial piercing , I came back the next day with questions and we decided that we should re-pierce the industrial to make it a bent industrial.Alan took so much time with me and made sure I loved my piercing. I really appreciated all the care he took to make me feel confident and comfortable.He made me a custom piece to go with my custom piercing.I will be back for any other piercing endeavors down the line.This is one place I would consider stopping in Asheville if you’re looking for unique jewelry and experience.

I am beyond impressed with the lovely humans and their equally lovely jewellery at Bella! I first came here with my mom 4 years ago to get her septum pierced. I was so fascinated by their pieces and their incredible care and customer service. Since then my mom and my sister have been back multiple times and have always raved about their experiences. I finally booked an appointment to purchase a nose ring and am so grateful I did! Alan was so patient and helpful, as all of the pieces were so gorgeous I couldn’t decide! He suggested a piece that ended up being absolutely perfect and that was that. Bella is perfect, their jewellery is perfect and worth every penny!

I got my ears pierced by Nic about a month ago. It was the best piercing experience I ever had. He took so much time to explain what he was going to do and ask me questions to make sure the piercing and jewelry was was I wanted and would work for my life. He makes all the jewelry in house and it is lovely. My ears have healed so well so far and I have had no redness or swelling and barely any pain during and after the piercing. He uses flat backs on all earrings and I was able to sleep easy the first night and every night after. If you want high quality piercings and jewelry go to Bella and see Nic. As usual Nics customer service is superb. I’ve been having trouble with a cartilage piercing for about a year now, but I bought my jewelry from Bella (did not get the piercing at Bella) and I have to go in to get larger and smaller bars often. He’s always so gentle and keeps conversation light and fun. He gave me new jewelry that he thinks will help my ear heal better. Will always come back here.

Alan made the experience so easy and provided great input on my final piercings (nostril and conch). Their jewelry selection is gorgeous and made by the piercers who are all goldsmiths (their pieces are not budget pieces, so just keep that in mind). Visiting from out of town, I was given great instructions on what local piercer to visit for a post change out later. Highly recommend going through these folkx for your piercing needs.

I arrived at Bella looking for a big change. I had checked out the Instagram and loved some of the philtrum/septum combos and was hoping to have both done in one sitting (I’m a heavily tattooed person, maybe not a great idea for a first timer lol!). The jewelry selection is absolutely exquisite and custom made-a level of professionalism I’ve yet to witness in town as a lifelong local. I’ve been pierced and tattooed all over Asheville and this place is by far the most pleasant experience! The space is beautiful, clean, and a perfect temperature, as well as quiet and calm as appointments are spaced out properly and there are no walk ins. Nic custom made my septum ring on the spot once he was aware of my style-the coolest thing ever! He’s a great human, very relaxed and funny and well practiced in his trade. He helped me out with some jewelry changes a week after the initial appointment and I’m 110% stoked about the whole thing and how it looks! Both appointments were fast and efficient while also feeling complete. Couldn’t recommend this place more if you want to be taken care of!

Had a wonderful experience with Alan this morning. Came in to switch my nose hoop to a smaller, tighter fit and when they didn’t have the next size down in stock Alan custom made a gold hoop in less than five minutes for me. I got my ears pierced here a 4 days ago. The customer service was absolutely impeccable and everyone was so nice. However, the post on my earring was cut too short and I am now having to go through the painful experience of getting my earring surgically removed from my ear because it has now grown into my skin. I paid so much money for this and I am so disappointed with how this has turned out.

**Highly Recommend** I made an appointment here because of a few serious issues I experienced with a shop in East AVL on Tunnel Road (for the love of god don’t go there). They used jewelry that started tarnishing in my fresh piercings, then replaced it with barbells that were much to short for healing, so I knew I needed to find a more professional shop.Here at Bella, you will immediately feel taken care of. They are professional, friendly and take pride in what they do. After hearing about my issues, Nic fitted me with proper sized barbells to allow for swelling/healing. He reassured me they were implant grade internally threaded titanium and used an autoclave to sterilize them, unlike the other shop.He switched them out for me, wrote down what size barbells I would need later for downsizing, and even gave me a business card of another reputable shop where I could find anodized titanium barbells later on if I wanted to shop around for that. He also gave me proper aftercare instructions, unlike the other shop that told me to pack sea salt on it 2x daily for 2 months.I also appreciated the covid safety measures they have: Masks are required and appointments are required so that no line or groups form. Their website is very clean and clear with all of these instructions and made it easy to make an appointment online too.

Got my nipples pierced by Nick and I can honestly say I could not have asked for a better experience! I have been here before to get my nose done and knew it was a highly reputable place which is important when it comes to piercings of course. I was extremely nervous before but he made me feel so comfortable and was so informative as to how the process would go, as well as healing. Yes, this shop is expensive, but worth every penny! The handmade jewelry is top quality and absolutely stunning. So delicate and easy to style. What a lovely experience! This is the first time Ive experienced a piercing studio where the jewelry is made in house and it was amazing. I got a unique rose cut quartz piece with my nose piercing, and three white gold rings in my left ear lobe in descending sizes. The (very cool) piercer Alan Dumond gave me plenty of time and answered all my questions, and explored ideas with me for unique potential approaches with enthusiasm. The jewelry is beautiful. Especially impressive was the sterile procedure. Alan utilized sterile practices Ive never seen before, and I felt more comfortable than I thought I could in that respect. Affordable, and high quality.

Absolutely hands down the best place to go for piercings. I was very comfortable the whole time and he explained everything in detail. You get what you pay for and he’s completely worth every penny. Even with COVID adaptations, Bella was a very professional, helpful and great environment for my nose piercing. Alan was incredibly kind, patient (with all the questions I had about my piercing) and professional. He talked through what the piercing would be like prior to and after and he did a great job acknowledging each step of the process when it came time to undergo the piercing. I was very impressed with the considerate way this all happened and the ease of making an appointment and realizing I was the only one during that time. I felt very comfortable and happy at Bella and would 100% go again. Furthermore, I would recommend this place for your next piercing!

I completely forgot to review after getting my septum re-done back last fall, but Alan is incredible!!! The entire place was amazing. I was extremely comfortable the whole time and Alan was explaining everything to me during the process. It’s no wonder they are essentially 5 stars! They have beautiful fine jewelry which I hope to purchase from them soon. The piercing itself was a great experience. I let my septum close up about 2 years ago and Alan simply reopened it and was so kind to only charge me for the jewelry! The piercing was not painful (mostly) and I am a wimp haha. Wow this piercing shop is absolutely top notch! I went here for the first time and the piercing artist Nic was so skilled and communicated very clearly. I was repeatedly asked for my comfort levels and consent and felt very taken care of. He did not use any clamps to guide the needle and it was perfectly even!! My personal anatomy was taken into consideration and different sized jewelry was installed accordingly. I have since gone back for two more piercings and just have a better experience each time! If you are looking to get any piercings this is 1000000% the place to go.Their pricing is more than fair and the staff are incredible, take it from a repeat customer! I got my septum pierced by Nic, and it was awesome!! He is super personable but very professional. I’ve read a lot of septum horror stories about piercers missing the sweet spot, but Nic took his time to ensure that the piercing was properly placed, and it was almost painless. He talked me through the whole process and did a great job of calming my nerves. I decided to go with a simple gold hoop, but Bella has a large array of high quality, gorgeous jewelry that is perfect for anyone who wants more than the standard piercing jewelry. It is on the pricier side, but it is 100% worth it. I would recommend Bella to anyone looking for a great shop in the WNC area!!

I had a great experience at Bella Piercing from start to finish. Nic was professional & friendly. I could tell he had a ton of experience but he explained everything from the piercing to the aftercare with great detail as if he hadnt done it a thousand times before. The most impressive thing was the clean, bright shop. It was easy to feel confident in such a sterile environment. I am fairly new to Asheville and was referred to this fine establishment via word of mouth and I’m so grateful because the experience FAR surpassed my expectations. I have been out of the “piercing game” for several years now and spontaneously decided to get my nipples pierced. Nic was my piercer and I could literally go on for paragraphs about how personable, professional, and just all-around phenomenal he is. Nic is truly passionate about body piercing and his knowledge and skill really sets him apart. He also makes all of the gorgeous jewelry in the shop himself. This was my first piercing experience outside of typical lobe piercings and while I cant speak for other shops/piercers - I have a suspicion that it doesnt get better than this. My experience at Bella was so enjoyable - Nic treated me like an old friend from the very beginning - never once rushed me or made me feel like I didnt belong. The shop is like others have mentioned - extremely clean & sterile. The piercing itself was done in seconds and while not painfree, not nearly what I expected and I definitely feel that is in direct relation to the skill of Nic. I would not hesitite to go here again and I would recommend anyone with a couple hours make their way here for their piercing wants.

My mom, sisters, and I stopped in to get our noses pierced. While the jewelry was beautiful, unique, and high quality, it wasnt exactly the look we were going for. The staff (Nic, I believe) was so sweet and even said as much as hed love to pierce us, he wanted us to walk out feeling amazing and not just okay with our piercing. He referred us to another studio that he said would have a broader selection of the jewelry we were looking for. While we cant comment on the piercing itself, their customer service, kindness, and helpfulness alone is deserving of 5+ stars!

This is THE nicest piercing place I’ve ever been to. Besides the shop itself being gorgeous (pristine and lit with natural sunlight), they have a good range of high-end jewelry from which to choose.I was lucky enough to meet Alan and Renee (who was my piercer), who were both incredibly friendly and great conversationalists as I decided what to get. They both obviously love what they’re doing there, and Renee has such a steady hand that I barely felt any discomfort.Even though Bella is quite a drive for me, I definitely plan on going back.

Had a really great experience here! First piercings ever, simple one on each lobe. Felt really comfortable and chill the whole time. It was fun but still felt very professional. Pricier than some places for sure, but I do feel body mods arent exactly something I want to skimp for. Would return!

I’ve been in twice so far and each time was a wonderful experience both with a Derek and Hannah. The first time was several month ago to switch out a my tragus jewelry on one side. It wasn’t healing and still bothering me after 6 months. Derek looked at my piercing (I had it done elsewhere) and recommended I put a longer post in to allow for swelling then we switched to a flatter piece of jewelry without prongs to reduce snagging my jewelry on my clothes. This worked perfectly and within a few weeks my piercing was fully healed and now month later it’s still perfect. I just went back in a few days ago to take my daughter in for a piercing and Hannah was great. She calmed my daughters nerves and did a wonderful job on her piercing. It looks beautiful and she loves it. Hannah also took the extra time to help me pick out a new piece of jewelry and did a great job helping me find the perfect size piece of jewelry for the look I wanted. I love the selection of jewelry and the service is always great.

I drove with a friend from Hickory NC to get her nose pierced and the entire experience at Bella was amazing. Nick was so incredibly personable and helpful from the moment we walked in the door. Her request for something subtle was taken very seriously and the stud was handmade on the spot to match her exact preferences. He explained the process from start to finish as well as a very thorough explaination for after care. I’ve had several piercings done in the past, but I will not be going anywhere else but Bella in the future. Worth the extra costs and worth the drive.

I was here with my friend last week getting our noses pierced. The whole time we felt super comfortable and the guys there treated us as if we’d known them a long time. I wanted a gold flat disk- they didn’t have any but said they could make one real quick- um awesome. The jewelry was autoclaved and Jon who was in town piercing for the week made us feel super comfortable and walked us through everything he was doing. Would definitely recommend this place.

I would recommend Bella to anyone looking for an exceptionally professional and knowledgeable piercing experience with custom jewelry. I have several piercings and also happen to be a medical doctor, and my experience at Bella stood out as superior compared to other shops I have visited. Their jewelry is a bit on the pricey side but the piercers are also goldsmiths / jewelers, and they make much of their jewelry in house. Therefore, it is worth paying a bit of a premium for one-of-a-kind local artisan embellishments.

The whole experience was superb from start to finish. Nic assisted us with everything from placement of the piercing based on individual anatomy to the jewelery that fit our personalities and placement. He kept the environment relaxed and made everything really fun. The shop is very clean and the piercing process very sanitary. If I lived here, I would have so many more piercings. I felt welcome to ask a bunch of questions.I was there to replace the jewelry in my healed conch. This shop is better than any shop in my local area and has jewelry made by the artists.1. The jewelry is gorgeous and unique2. The prices were so reasonable! I was so impressed.3. There was a large variety of options which I felt no pressure to hurry up to choose and in no way did I feel pressured to get a new piercing or buy the most expensive pieces.Here is the best part for me: Nic went above and beyond duty. I just came in to get my conch jewelry replaced with something cute but he spent the time to look over my other piercings. Nic pointed out that some of my healed piercings had posts that were too long and one was actually affecting the angle my piercing was healing.He volunteered to change the posts for me without my asking. It was something I actually had been needing and wanting to do for a while but did not want to ask a piercer that didn’t do the original work to take the extra time and effort to do it for me. He spent quality time patiently fitting better posts to my healed piercings and they felt SO much better afterwards. He took his time to explain to me why the longer posts were bad for my piercings in an informative yet not condescending way.He autoclave the new jewelry for me even when I wasn’t getting a new piercing. This was a great comforting touch to me. Very professional.When we got started Nic made sure I was comfortable and even asked for consent to touch my ears and informed me what I needed to let him know if I was uncomfortable at any point.During the process, he continued to ask about my comfort and thanked me for sitting well. He made wonderful conversation about the Asheville area and had wonderful manners. He is so well spoken and extremely personable.I ended up leaving there with my gorgeous new conch jewelry as well as new posts for a flat, a forward helix and my conch.When we were done, he handed my all my old jewelry and posts to keep. He didn’t charge me a penny for any of the extra work. Just the new single piece of conch jewelry that I purchased.I wish I lived in this area to continue to support this shop. Knowing I was a tourist, he suggested a professional shop in my local area for my future use. He treated me so well and I can’t say enough about it. It was a highlight of my entire trip.

I waiting longer than expected but Nic was Absolutely kind and apologizing for the delay. He took my concerns in consideration and answered all my questions.I have gotten my belly button pierce before but did not like the old boring silver and it wasn’t healing well so I took it off. He was extremely professional, great to talk to, and does a great job of making you feel comfortable through the entire process. I went here today to get my daith pierced. My piercer was Nic and he did an amazing job! He was super nice and real chill while be super professional at the same time. I fully trusted him! He made this nervous Nellie a lot more relaxed! The shop was super duper clean as well! They also have a ton of jewelry to select from I had the hardest time choosing lolIm definitely going to bring my business here next time I want a piercing and for now on!See you guys next time!!

Went in to get a conch piercing and some new jewelry for a healed helix piercing. Nic was so helpful - was honest in his recommendations for what he thought would heal best, and also what would look best. Nic was patient while I looked at different jewelry options - and their selection of jewelry is beautiful. Totally worth the extra money to have one of a kind, and top of the line jewelry - I have really sensitive skin, and havent had a reaction yet of my new or old piercing. My new conch piercing is healing well and much less painful than prior piercings. I was from out of town, and he also recommended a piercer in my area for me to follow up with to check out my healing. Highly recommend this place and cant wait to go back!

Derek is the friendliest and best piercer around! Nick and Alan are really awesome too, they just havent pierced me yet. Derek has pierced me 4 times and theyve all turned out great. They have a huge selection of beautiful jewelry and theyre all so knowledgeable and helpful. I dont go anywhere else to get pierced.

My friend and I were downtown and she had lost an earring that she recently had pierced and needed to get a new one asap. We googled a jewelry store and this one popped up, said it closed at 9, and seemed nice. So we walked there and upon arrival was greeted fairly nice but when my friend explained she just wanted to see the jewelry they had, the man instantly became passive aggressive and told us he only works on appointments, which we understood but my friends thought he was confused and reexplained she only needed jewelry to which he responded with “its 7:04, we closed at 7 and I’m not serving you, try the store up the road. Oh and don’t bring a dog in next time” (who is a service dog). I understand he needed to close, but there was no need to be rude or insult my dog. Things can be explained in a nice manner. Idk how their service is, but the attitude one worker has was disappointing.Edit: after reading other reviews I realize that multiple people have had a similar experience with this particular employee, just something to note before considering this shop!

Been to Bella a few times to support friends and my partner during piercings, and each time the guys at Bella have been top notch. I stopped in a couple months ago on a whim to get my ears (re)pierced. I had them pierced long ago and they never quite healed correctly and then finally just closed up. Bella did an amazing job and 2 months later my ears are happy and healthy. Their selection of jewelry is beautiful and of high quality. The process was smooth and they were very friendly. Derek was very knowledgeable about jewelry and anatomy. I have a metal allergy and Ive worn the jewelry I bought for the piercing for over 3 years with no problems. He explained the process clearly and answered all of my questions fully. Extremely professional. I got my ears pierced at Bella - nothing complicated, just my lobes. The experience was lovely. The shop is clean and neat, the piercer was friendly, and everything was hygienic. This was the best body modification appointment Ive ever had (and Ive had a lot). Alan talked me through the process and was extremely accommodating. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone. He created a space that a fainting goat felt comfortable enough to stay in their body for the whole appointment and thats incredible!

I received a glowing referral prior to coming to Bella and I was not disappointed. I got my ears pierced and I got in and out within 20 minutes. It is a high quality job with equally high quality hardware, so granted it is not as cheap as you would get in the mall. You certainly get what you pay for however, as the process is relatively painless, everything is sterilized, and the place is APP certified. I would recommend to anyone willing to spend the extra buck on some high quality piercings.

My daughter’s nose piercing kept getting infected so we came by Bella to get advice. She had the piercing done out of state. John was awesome. Told her what to do. She wanted to get a new one, but he told her to wait. It says a lot about a business when they are honest and not pushing to make a sale. Took out her ring so it could heal.She’ll be back to get a new one done properly.Nice setting as well.

Had my nose piercing done by Nic and it was a great experience! Nic took his time with me, answered all of my questions thoroughly and had some great conversations.This is also an APP studio, so it’s obviously not a $25 piercings with cheap jewelry place. However, it’s incredibly worth it and truthfully, the cost of the piercing and gold jewelry was extremely fair.Overall, a very pleasant experience and I’m so relieved that this piercing studio exists in North Carolina.

Wow, I almost never leave reviews for places unless Im blown away, and Im feeling nothing less than that after having a few piercings done with Nic yesterday. Although I was expecting extreme pain, it was even quicker than expected and he answered all of my questions thoroughly and with a smile. The jewelry in the shop is also beautiful, and was overall nothing less than a 5 star experience!

I did plenty of research when looking for a good shop to get my septum pierced at. Bella jewelry and piercing came highly recommended by the google reviews, so I opted to go there. Its a small little shop right downtown, so you may not think much of it when you pass by, but it is quite possibly the best place to get any piercing done! Nic is extremely educated and has been doing this for several years now. He is comforting and doesnt scare you with the gory details (in case youre squeamish). He talked me through the whole process, from top to bottom, not missing a beat. During the actual piercing he stayed very calm and was gentle. His process of consent is what made me feel the most comfortable bc it was on MY time. I recommend this place to literally everyone I come into contact with now whos looking to get a piercing done. The space is sterile and they display the jewelry very elegantly. Nic was an incredible human. He made me feel at home. He used my preferred name and pronouns throughout my visit. He customized the jewelry i wanted. He prepared me very gently about everything he was going to do. Nic narrated it perfectly and made me feel so comfortable throughout my visit. I had my nose pierced before and let it close up. I really was dreading getting it re-pierced. This was my first time at Bella and I’m so shocked at the difference. This time it wasn’t painful, and went sooo much quicker, smoother than my first nose piercing. Alan and Nic were super nice and welcoming. Def recommend them!

Although I ended up paying a little more than I thought I would, I really enjoyed my experience at Bella. The guys were super cool and relaxed and very knowledgable about what theyre doing. The facility was clean, and they put a big emphasis on sanitation. I just got my lobes done today, but I am very happy with them. If I decide to get another piercing I would definitely go back. Although a little pricey, I got earrings that I like and I know my piercing will last.

Whenever I get more piercings in the future, this is where I’ll ALWAYS go! Nic made the whole process so easy and made me feel so relaxed. My fiancé and I felt as if we had known him forever! Not to mention, they’re super sterile. As a nurse, I was in awe of the sterile techniques Nic used to do my double cartilage piercing; alcohol, CHG (which is used in surgery, might I add), and even sterile gloves! I was very impressed. He made sure my piercings were perfect and that I was in love with the placement and jewelry. Yes, they’re on the pricier side— BUT, I’d rather pay for high quality jewelry and a professional piercing any day. And the selection was so cute and super up on trend! Oh, yeah.. not to mention they made me a personalized nose ring! I highly recommend these guys for any piercings you get.. they know what they’re doing and make you feel right at home!

Took our daughter to get her ear cartilage pierced. Was recommended by Hot Stuff tattoo when looking for a place. This is a fine jewelry shop that does piercing. Jewelry is handmade right there so expect to pay more than your average piercing place. The folks are sweet, kind, gentle, and helped ease the experience of our teenager who was nervous. They have coffee, tea, and water and a small bench for sitting which is a lot since its a tiny place packed full of goodness. Parking lot so no need to off street park which is great for downtown aSHEville. Glad we came. Overall wonderful experience!

By far the best piercing experience Ive ever had! Had both of my nipples pierced by Nic and they look so much better than I ever thought they would. Before getting the piercing I stopped in a few days before to ask all of the questions that I had been incessantly googling. He was able to answer them definitively from a background of anatomy knowledge that all of the piercers at Bella are obligated to study do to their APP certification. The day I went in to get pierced Alan helped me pick out jewelry and Nic spent around a full hour with me in the piercing room. Drawing piercing marks to make sure they were perfect, using an autoclave to sterilize the jewelry and pick out the appropriate barbell length to ensure comfort in case of the normal swelling that can occur after being pierced. The entire procedure was extremely professional, clean and actually super enjoyable. Nic was so personable and communicative the whole time. As a woman having a stranger pierce your private regions it is important that there is clear communication about touch, and Nic made me feel so comfortable and relaxed, a true professional. Everything about the experience was fantastic, well worth the slightly higher prices for a clean pierce, gorgeous jewelry and excellent customer service.

Bella is by far the best piercing shop in town. The piercers are incredibly professional and knowledgeable as well as being warm and approachable, which doesnt always come hand in hand! Its the perfect spot for both folks new to the piercing game and old pros. The jewelry is all titanium grade and they have a solid selection of BVLA and Neometal pieces (and is the only shop in town Im aware of that carries those high tier brands). And if you dont find exactly what youre looking for, Alan (one of the three piercers) custom makes some of the most beautiful jewelry Ive ever seen- and can work with you to come up with your exact vision. Best part is the downtown location... with a parking lot. I get asked a bunch where my nostril jewelry came from (the end pieces can be switched to new stones) and I always jump at the chance to brag on my experience. Thanks again, Bella fellas!

I first got my piercings in May 2018. They have been the best piercings ive gotten. The owner Nic and the other staff there took really good care of me when I came in for my piercings. I have never felt so comfortable in a piercing place. When I came back to Asheville for a visit and to check out some new selections, Nic remembered me and my piercing. It’s so nice to know that I’m not just a dollar sign when I walk in to their business, I’m a person and that my needs are met and valued.The value here is unmatchable in Asheville - going anywhere else will be disappointing.

I went on a sarurday to have my septum pierced. They were pretty busy, as expected for a weekend, but Nic was amazing. He made the wait comfortable and talked me through my options. I was a bit nervous, but when we started talking I calmed down. They also have KILLER music. I reccomend Nic highly. Hes a talented piercer and an amazing guy. Went in for a simple ear lobe piercing for my girlfriend. In the past, piercing places that I’ve been to pierce your ears and give you a small simple stud so that the hole doesnt close. At Bella, they want you to make a purchase of 100$+ ear jewelry at the time of piercing. I feel like the process of piercing should be relatively decoupled from the process of actually purchasing the jewelry.During our consultation, the staff member that we talked to was very condescending about piercing in general. I’m sure he’s very knowledgeable and takes his job seriously but he should do a better job of expressing his opinion without passing judgement. Pretty bad experience overall even though no piercing was done.

Best place ever to get a piercing! Derek is GREAT! You can tell that Derek really loves his job and it shows by the way he treats his customers. My experience at Bella was wonderful! I walked in ready to get my daith pierced and after Derek and Alan both looked at my ears they deemed myself as not a candidate. They explained to me that my daith was too shallow to do a proper piercing and that if they tried it would be a pain to heal and very painful altogether. While I was bummed that I could not get it pierced, I was so thankful that they were honest with me and that they took the time to explain the reasoning to me. I feel like a lot of places would have just pierced it anyway without really telling the truth. They then gave me other options that I could do and were very patient with me while I thought thing over. Ultimately, I ended up just getting my lobes pierced and Derek took the time to show me all the jewelry options they had and made sure that I felt comfortable the whole time. These guys are extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and the whole place is as clean as can be. I will not be going anywhere else in the future!
