Beck did an amazing job on my tattoo! His line work is meticulous with attention to every detail. He spent a lot of time with me in advance to be sure the design plan was exactly what I wanted. He made sure I was comfortable throughout the process and I feel like my tattoo is the work of a true artist.

Jessica is simply the most authentic person. She listened to what I was hoping for and my entire experience with her was great. What is as impressive is the way she interacted with everyone in the shop. You can tell she truly is happy to be there and supports everyone just doing their own thing. Beautiful work!

I came in for my first tattoo and left feeling grateful. Alejo was knowledgeable about his craft, he had wonderful bedside manner, and the process was incredibly straightforward. I had a wonderful experience getting a tattoo from Alejo here. I knew the artwork would be high quality, but he even exceeded my expectations. The shop is beautiful, super clean, well-lit with tons of interesting art on the walls. The process of deciding on a design and receiving the tattoo were calm and easy. I LOVE MAGIC DAGGER! I have gotten two tattoos here and some help with a piercing. They always keep it sanitary and comfortable. I plan to come back and work with more of their artists. I had a great experience getting my first tattoo from Beck, I highly recommend him for lettering work! He was able to execute my piece done in Cyrillic and was super easy to communicate with. The shop was beautiful and everyone was welcoming and helpful!

Chambo is a badass. No other way to say it. Don’t let his age fool you, this dude is so talented and he is going to go places. I wanted very specific lettering (on my face)and he was able to make my vision come true and looks even better than I could have hoped. He was extremely thorough and detailed. I have had most of my work done by the owner Jessica and have to say she is the coolest and best tattooer I know! I’ve had 5 pieces done by her and I get asked who has done them all the time because they are so good😁 The whole shop has a really chill vibe and no judgement towards anyone who walks in. Everyone that works at Magic dagger is awesome as well! Ed and Jessica run a great shop so don’t second guess yourself when deciding on where to go because this is your shop for all of your needs!

This is a fine tattoo studio. It is very clean and professional. A comfortable place to get some ink and even long sessions. The staff are friendly and great artists. Jessica is an accomplished artist in several mediums. I like here eastern work especially.I will be returning for more ink in the future!

Lucian was an AMAZING piercer, they were very intricate and very very thorough in the piercing process. Lucie is hands down the best piercer I’ve ever gone to. I’ve never had a piercer care so much that I understand the process and make sure he had consent for every step. My eyebrow piercing came out beautifully and I can’t recommend him enough!!

I brought my teen daughter here to get her nostril and naval pierced for her birthday and Lucie was amazing! They were extremely informative with care and what they were doing the whole time, making her feel very comfortable. Id also like to say the cleanliness and sanitation precautions and knowledge were above and beyond. Ive several piercings and we are new to the area, so finding a great shop was our main goal. Speaking of, it is by far, the nicest, most welcoming shop Ive ever been to, all staff we met were very kind and the bathroom is so cool lol! Lucien is such a genuinely considerate and delightful person with a gentle hand; I felt so incredibly comfortable in their presence. I got a philtrum piercing and every step of the process was described to me with such intelligently articulated communication that was easily digestible, even with the added adrenaline rush post piercing. I will recommend this shop and piercer to everyone and their grandma. Lucien is a gem of a human being and is absolutely worth the 3 hour drive it will be for me to visit again. I had my first piercing here, septum, by Lucien. The great experience started before I even arrived at the shop. When I called to see if there was availability for a septum piercing, he was very nice and was able to get me in right away. When I showed up, I was greeted right away and the shop had a great vibe, was very clean, and professional. When it came time to pierce, Lucien walked me through every step and took his time to make sure it went smoothly. I’m more of a tattoo person than piercing, but if I ever get another piercing it will be from Lucien. 10 out of 5 stars.

I’ve gotten a couple of piercings now from Lucien. He makes you feel so comfortable and is good with making sure every piercing is exactly where you would like it. I recently came in for a piercing I was nervous about and Lucien made me very comfy, just went step by step with what he needed to do and he really goes out of his way to make sure you are okay. I followed him from his shop before because I personally don’t want to be pierced etc. by anyone else. I highly recommend going to him. They have a very friendly vibe and nice setup, it makes me feel safe. Helps clean up your piercings with care which you don’t normally see in most places. Best piercing experience for myself I’ve had.

I got my bridge pierced here the other day and it was 100% the best piercing experience I have ever had! Lucien took their time, explained everything that was going to happen as they went, their sanitation standards made me feel super safe about the quality and healing of my piercing. They gave me all the information about the bar size, recommended the best thread type for my piercing, and was able to place it in a spot that fits & feels better than the previous two bridge piercings I have had over the years. I will be going back to them for any body mods that get in the future!!

Lucie is the most gentle, thoughtful & professional piercer I’ve ever been to! He is so kind and not to mention he checks for proper anatomy before he does piercings, explains the piercing and healing process, uses quality jewelry and supplies, and offers a safe & comfortable space for his clients. I have gotten 12 piercings done by Lucie and they have done a phenomenal job on all of them. The placements on all of my piercings are perfect and I am super satisfied with all of the work they’ve done on me and their work I’ve seen on other people. They are always so thorough and make me feel safe throughout the whole piercing process and explain all of the things that they are doing before they do it. They are a great resource for aftercare questions and are always super responsive over their instagram DMs. I have had really bad past experiences with other piercers and after going to Lucie for the first time a year ago, I refuse to get pierced by anyone other than Lucie. I recommend them to all of my friends!

I highly recommend Magic Dagger for your next tattoo! I booked Jessica for a half sleeve, Neo Japanese. Her design, line work, color saturation all outstanding. Healing was a breeze. She is very light handed and is in and out causing very minimal trauma. I had several sessions all resulting in light pealing, almost nothing and in about a weeks time my skins surface already looked healed. Just a testament to her application process and the cleanliness of her shop and equipment. It was a real pleasure and thank you so much for a killer piece! I was recommended this studio for my first piercing by my boyfriend today, a septum, and it was the most amazing experience ever! They were so passionate about each and every part of the process, and it was so amazing to be around. I spent almost 2 years researching tattoo artists across the US to get my first tattoo; a piece of my dads artwork to commemorate his life. This search led me to Jessica, and I couldnt be more pleased that I found her. Objectively, her talents and artistic eye are world-class. The finished product exceeded my every expectation, and even my more well-tatted friends cant get over what a crisp, engaging, and stunning job she did. Received a second forward helix piercing from Lucie this weekend. He was very thorough in lining it up with the other ear. He knew I was a little nervous about needles and explained every step making sure I was comfortable. Youll notice a plaque that says your body, your choice, he walks that walk. Lucie is an extremely knowledgeable and talented piercer/ body mod artist. I felt very safe and well taken care of. Lucie is one of the only piercing artists I’ve received services from that didn’t feel judgemental and followed up with me afterward to check on healing. 10/10 definitely recommend!

Lucie is such a talented piercer, I regularly recommend them to my friends in the Asheville area, they gave me a triple helix piercing and not only did it heal phenomenally but the pain throughout the piercing was minimal and always explains what theyre doing because I personally have a phobia of needles. They makes the experience feels so much safer and relaxing I cannot recommend enough!

He definitely cares a lot about the symmetry and detail. He made sure that the piercing fit with the alignment of my nose to make sure that things look great when I replace my stud with a hoop, and in case I wanted to have my other nostril pierced in the future. This is the high quality that you absolutely want when you go to a tattoo/piercing shop! I highly recommend that everyone come here!

I had an appointment there. Guy canceled on me last minute. I was very disappointed. I had the tattoo scheduled 2 weeks in advance. Got to the shop wait on guy for an hour. Lady that was there was very sweet. And called the guy who was doing a tattoo. He said he would be there in 30 minutes. Then he decided he wasnt coming. Wasted half a day of work for nothing.
