My fiancé brought his grandmother’s ring here to be cleaned and restored to its natural shine before proposing and we brought it back for resizing/strengthening the band once he proposed. All of our questions were answered and we were handled with such great care at such an important moment in our lives…couldn’t have asked for a better experience!

Amazing selection and prices seem to be very fair.When we explained that we’re getting married at the courthouse this month and doing a bigger celebration later this year, the dude pulled out a bunch of inexpensive options that look great and will be excellent placeholders.Definitely going back to buy nicer rings for the official ceremony!

I bought a silver necklace for $50, and it broke after 2 days. When I went to the jewerly store the old man said he could fix it but I had to pay $28. I accepted and made the payment and after a week, the necklace broke again. This time he said forget about that necklace, this necklace already broken and even if i fix this it will be happen again. but he didn’t tell me first time this he took 28$ from me and fixed it. anyway he said I will give you a new necklace if you pay $50 more. What he did is fraud. If I wanted to pay $125 to buy a necklace, thats what I would do. Please do not go to this jewelery store, he made me suffer in an incredible way. I paid $78, I got nothing!!! and also his attitude was terrible!

I am so glad I came to Aldor Jewelry Creations to get my ring resized. Besides how friendly and professional they are, they were upfront with me about the challenges with my request, the risks I am taking, and honest about whether they have the skills to attempt it (spoiler, they do!) I wanted my ring sized down by 2 sizes (photo of previous ring size compared to size I needed), but they feared the moissanite stones would fall out and the gold would not be able to be joined in a way that preserves the braiding. In conclusion (pics attached) they were able to preserve all the stones and connect the braid seamlessly. Could not have asked for better work, and would recommend them to everyone. I would give this shop zero stars if I could.I visited this jeweler to test a gold chain I had received as a gift and to ask for its value. First of all, the man working there took care of two other customers before me (even though I was there first). When he attended me, I told him what I was there for, and after showing him the chain, he picked it up and tossed it on the table, telling me that I’m “wasting his time”. I asked why that was the case and he said that it’s not real gold, and after simply asking why he says that (since he simply picked it up and looked at it for less than three seconds) he said the way it feels, the weight and the way it looks. Fine, that’s no issue. But he doubles down and goes on a tangent about how he has people everyday “just like me” come into his shop with the “same exact chain” asking for the same question. He then goes on to embarrass me in front of the other customers with this tangent and finishing with “what makes you special to think this is a real gold chain?”. Instead of explaining myself and where I got the chain from and not knowing what the hell he was talking about, I simply just left disgusted and embarrassed. Extremely unprofessional behavior, regardless of whether or not my chain was authentic gold or not, you’re a jeweler so it is your duty to treat everyone who walks into your shop with respect, and not belittle them or blatantly disrespect them.

I met with Albert so he could authenticate / switch my watch band I recently received. His service and knowledge was 2nd to none. I definitely will come back as the hospitality was great. Looking forward to buying one of their luxury watches / jewelry in the future.

Best place to buy jewelry for any occasion. Great service and very individualized attention. Also, the best place to come for jewelry and watch repair and custom orders. I moved to Long Island and still come to Astoria for all my jewelry and repair needs.

Went to this place to have a custom ring made, and due to some scheduling mishaps, I was in quite a hurry. The folks here were incredibly kind, helpful, and patient with my clueless self (I had no idea what a carat was lol). We spoke at length about what I wanted, and then I gave them a picture of what I wanted and they delivered exactly that - a gorgeous ring! And they had it ready in less than three days, because I told them I was in a time crunch!!! Pricing was also very reasonable! Overall excellent stress-free experience, highly recommend!

Thanks to Google, I ended up repairing my necklace at Aldor. The quality job was done by Albert right in front of me. He answered my numerous questions about jewelry. The store is pretty spacious, bright and has a large selection of jewelry and watches. Very professional owner with good personality. Definitely recommended.

The person at the counter was very honest. A while back I brought my diamond earrings in because I lost a back to one of them. He tested a few of his earring backs at hand to see if they will fit the threads of my earrings. There were no perfect matches and he was very gentle to not ruin my earrings. I am really impressed with his honesty and he did not push for me to purchase his. He said my best bet was to just go back to where I had purchased the earrings. Thank you for the warm and fuzzy feels! Its refreshing!

I recently visited Aldor to look at wedding rings and had a great experience. I really wasn’t expecting to purchase them right then and there but the owner was so great about helping us, explaining all the different materials and the pros and cons of each and most importantly being really transparent about the pricing and how it was determined. We felt like we really trusted him - especially because he didn’t push or try to convince us to get platinum - so we made our decision on the spot. Everything was ready in a few days and looked as beautiful as we had hoped. Highly recommend this shop!

I have shopped here twice already and with no doubt will be my to go place from now on when it comes to jewellery!!! My first great experience was when I purchased a cross for a baptism and my second experience was when I trusted them to make a identical copy of my favorite necklace for a gift to a very special person. Absolutely LOVED coming here. I had 2 broken necklaces and a third that I wanted to be resized and they did a perfect job on all 3, especially the resizing! We got a new battery for a watch today along with getting the band replaced. It was a super easy and friendly transaction. During these times of COVID, the store honored and respected social distancing rules. When we were unsure of a band, every single option was presented to us and we were advised of the best band sizing as well as assisted in picking the best suited one for the watch face. Even with the uncertainty of Covid, this Jeweler went above and beyond. Albert was extremely thorough and professional in order to ensure what I wanted as a custom designed engagement ring using a family heirloom stone. The final product was absolutely beautiful and he really resurrected the heirloom. I will absolutely be a customer for life at this store!

He has a beautiful selection of jewelry, is always fair in price, and several times I have brought in jewelry to be repaired which he has done with no problem. This store is worth the trip. They are professional and gives you the individual attention that you may need.

Great service. Very nice and straight forward. Showed us the prices right out of the book. Didnt feel like we were being overcharged or fooled in any way.Also did excellent work on my fiancées engagement ring. Resized it and also took a notch out so the wedding band fits right underneath it. Its gorgeous. The notch in no way took away from the ring. It must have taken some skill and was well done.

They fixed my girlfriends chain (dipped in gold, replaced the chain, & added a diamond) for a fair price I went to zales and they wanted to charge 250 with a 2 1/2 week wait period.. I paid $90 and my chain was ready in 3 days. The workers were very friendly and respectful I definitely will be a permanent customer.

I went to get my ears pierced at this place, and it was greattt. Got both of my ears pierced for $45 and a therapy free of charge. The person was professional, honest, comfortable and just naturally sarcastic, making the experience one of a kind.

I brought a ring for resizing which also needed a new back and they were able to do that all right before the 4th of July holiday even though they said they might not be able to beforehand. My old ring looks brand new and the work they did on it is beautiful!!!

This place charged me $1,300 for 2 wedding bands. At another jewelry store I saw the same EXACT rings for HALF the price. I feel ripped off. Ill never shop there again.
