I’ve been getting laser hair removal from Laseraway for a couple sessions and it’s been amazing. The staff is always friendly and professional. They make it an enjoyable experience all the time. I’ve seen results almost instantaneously and the cooling technology they use during the session make the experience so so comfortable. I was on the fence about laser hair removal for a while but I’m so glad that I finally made the jump to do it. Been loving the results so far and it’s saved me the hassle of having to shave so much.

Its my first time here and it was an awesome experience. Treatment did not hurt or burn and its quite fast. Front desk gentleman Quintin was so polite and the nurse who did my treatment was Krystal and Im a talker lol and she didnt mind having a conversation. I definitely recommend this spot.

Nurses and front desk staff are always great, understanding and super friendly. They always make sure to cater to my needs and explain the services offered. I signed up for maintanance laser hair removal sessions and botox with a great deal that front desk and Eva offered and explained. I have a weird schedule and they always work with me. Overall I am very happy with this location and Staff!

Second session of a treatment package I bought in the Astoria laser away location. I thought I had a good experience the first time but the second time around was 10x better. They listened to my concerns and catered appropriately!! Staff at the front desk and the Nurses/ NA/ PAs that do the treatment go above and beyond to make sure you are comfortable during the sessions. Amazing experience and highly recommend!

I like this location of Laser Away. Staff is always welcoming and very professional of what they are doing. I like how nurses always make sure to check your medical changes before starting the treatment and they always check if everything is fine, if there is no pain during the procedure making you as much comfortable as possible. Today was my 7th visit for my laser hair removal and I am very happy with the results. I don’t regret choosing Laser Away for taking care of me and making me more confident in myself.

I am not really happy with results. I had 7 treatments so far (out of 8).My hair grows just slightly less than before and my wallet is lighter for $5500.Not recommending.

I believe anyone can get things right but to recover when things go wrong, takes professionalism and great customer service. And thats what Ava did at the Astoria location. She was not only able to keep me as a customer but encourage me to try another package. Not to mention, the nurse that did my coolsculpting was nothing short of amazing. She was thorough, friendly and helped me to to feel very comfortable. Yes you can find cheaper but you wont find better!

I initially was accompanying my friend for her appointment. I started talking to Jennifer at the front and I must say, a beautiful individual inside and out. We instantly hit it off discussing my previous laser experience, birthdays, where I’m traveling from etc. She helped me look into different pricing, my most troubling areas that I wanted to rid of hair, financing and a location closer to me since I was traveling from out of state. I was able to secure and set up with them right away and even get a couple areas lasered right then and there. Overall, a great atmosphere and experience. The facility is aesthetically pleasing and everyone is so nice and welcoming. My nurse/laser tech was very knowledgeable and walked me through each step and braved me through it. Thank you!

The staff at LaserAway, Steinway St are so friendly and welcoming. I’m currently doing Laser Tattoo Removal and the staff make it as pain free as possible. They also are very informative and walk you through the process step by step.

I love this place for your skin and Botox and removal of tattoo’s. The staff on the Astoria location are the best, very knowledgeable and professional, and caring staff. Dimples and Quinton and Eva have a lot of customer service skills. They accommodate you according to your needs. I can’t say enough how satisfying every visit has been. My husband is getting some tattoo’s removed, and we’re also doing Botox! Yay! Yay! Can’t wait for this. They constantly have nice promotions and financing as well. So I was extremely nervous at first, but the staff was very inviting and explained what was to be expected. Nurse Jade also explained what the process would entail, every step of the way. Oh and it wasnt painful! So I would definitely recommend LaserAway to anyone whos been considering laser hair removal. Check them out and see for yourself!

I like the treatments and the results speak for themselves. I dislike the scheduling because it is hard to get appointments and the online scheduling app keeps messing up the times, so they tell you one time and then its actually another time. I know they have to sell, but the incessant sales pitches get annoying after awhile. I also wish there was a way to have the same treatment specialist each time, but overall I recommend clear and brilliant for hyper pigmentation and acne. The astoria location is convienent.

My technician Emily was also the absolute best. Made me feel super comfortable and is great at what she does. I’m super happy I decided to continue my hair free journey with laseraway. Def coming back to this location! Very queer and trans friendly as well which is something v important for me!

I’ve been coming here for over a year and I love it here everyone is so friendly. The laser I love because I’ve tried different laser places for 3 years and nothing worked! However, when I tell you laser away laser works amazingly on my skin. I also come to this location specifically on Thursdays because of the staff Christian, Clea, Jade and Emily they are amazing ! Hair removal laser is one of the best investment i made for myself! I really enjoy my sessions with Jade. She is very delicate and precise on how she does the treatment! Definitely recommend getting a session from her.

Customer service is horrible. I paid for 6 applicators in 2 different area for coolscuplting will be used for my appointment. But when I arrived only 2 was scheduled. And the staff doesn’t take any initiative to see how they can fix the mistake and show no sympathy for their mistakes when I told them I purposely took days off for this . Terrible customer service

I had a great experience with Juvederm Lip Filler at this LaserAway location. The staff at the front desk was so welcoming, Christian made everyone who walked in feel welcomed. Cleopatra got me checked in right away. Jennifer took good care of me getting set up for my treatment with numbing. The nurse Athina did a great job on my treatment, answering all of my questions. I loved the whole staff here. I can’t wait to come back!

The staff was very friendly but the treatment was a total rip off. I spent over 1000 dollars for 2 years of tattoo removal treatment for a small 3 inch by 4 inch tattoo. They only lightened it a little. Beware!! Do not go to this place to get a tattoo removed!!! They ripped me off!

I choose Laser-away because it seem so professional. I have given so much faith in this process, but I have had the biggest disappointment! I spent almost $4000 for laser facial to treat my melasma and I was given all guaranteed of great results, but unfortunately I had none after 7 sessions.That’s not all…. I was also doing facial and underarm hair removal and now I am having facial and underarm hair like never before.Not that I didn’t follow the rules of before and after care. I wanted results so I followed all.I also have 2-3 sessions of underarm hair removal, I know it’s my interest to get it done, but no one has ever even call to know about my success and if I will use my remaining sessions.They have their money so they don’t care !They are the best at first, but obviously that’s how they will be when they need the market.I am not going to run away from the fact that there were like 2 great nurses.The thing was that each one tells you something different When I complain about results, and it’s like when I am not doing the right thing.

Love this place. I do laser hair removal and clear & brilliant. I love my results, which are going to have long term impact, and it feels like an investment in myself. Everyone who does work on you is a nurse practitioner and you will be treated with warmth and respect by the admin staff around the clinic and at the front desk. Despite the expected pain and discomfort associated with the process, the nurses will check in with how I am doing and make sure the process is manageable. And dont worry about the pain because I barely felt anything and they check in with you first about your pain tolerance before proceeding. I LOVE my laseraway results. It was a process and definitely took some time but its the best thing Ive ever done. I never have to worry about shaving, waxing or the uncomfortable side effects that come with those any more. The staff are super nice and welcoming and the nurses are incredible.Also they offer interest free financing so you can get all the areas you want done at once and make easy monthly payments. So dont be scared of the price. Its SO WORTH IT!!I would strongly suggest making your next appointment before you leave because their schedule books up fast, for obvious reasons.

My review for Laser away in Flatiron was okay. Not my favorite location so I changed the location to Astoria Queens and Im glad I did! The office is very clean, up kept and modern. Most importantly the staff is amazing. Everyone from the front desk to Nurses, management etc. Rodeka, Kelly, Alexa are amazing! Ive had hair removal on my entire face, fillers for my smile lines and my last procedure was Thermage on my neck done by Kelly! I pushed my 2nd treatment for Thermage for my face to a later date because I requested Kelly again. I love the knowledge the staff has and if they dont know the answer they have no problem asking someone who does. They explain and answer any questions you might have (and I always have many) lol Thank you everyone for helping me stay young and beautiful!

Very beautiful and clean location. The estheticians are always so warm, welcoming, and willing to provide any and all information needed for your service. I give 4 stars not because of the actual services I receive, but due to the front desk staff. I can understand wanting to make a bonus or commission especially in this climate, but every SINGLE time I’m leaving a session and have to make a next appointment, they are aggressively trying to sell you another package. Like, you can clearly see that I haven’t finished my current one. They clearly know the system that is used to pay for appointments and the fact that they’re willing to convince customers to add thousands more to their balances is alarming. Especially after clearly stating that I am not interested at the moment. This is not something that’s common at the UES location which is where I was originally going for my treatments. If anything, they informed me of other treatments and services my first visit. At my second, we just took care of business. Nobody likes to continuously be upsold. Please pay your workers a living wage so patrons don’t have to be in the awkward position of saying “no” to another service every single visit.

Im having a wonderful experience with LaserAway! My treatment specialist, April Stettner is amazing, she makes me feel so comfortable and talks me through my options, throughly explaining all of the packages and details about each treatment area. She always makes sure I dont miss out on deals and puts together the best treatment package for me. All of the estheticians have been great at the Astoria location. Ive been treated by Eileen and Jane and Ive been seeing results already after 3 treatments without any pain or discomfort during or after being treated. Highly recommend!

Buyer beware! Apologies for the long post! Zero star. So disappointed. Do yourself a favor and find a smaller and more personalized place to do your cosmetic treatments.I was originally excited to do my laser hair removal through LaserAway. Clinicians are nurses and I appreciate healthcare professionals, being one myself. Multiple locations, staff was always friendly and the facilities clean.Unfortunately, halfway through my treatments I noticed I wasn’t making expected progress. I began voicing this to each clinician asking them to evaluate my laser setting and only small adjustments were made to my treatment plan. It’s like they didn’t take my word or care that I only had a set number of sessions that I paid SO much money for.It wasn’t until I came in fully unshaved for my 2nd to last treatment that my nurse realized that setting should be greatly changed. Thank you to that nurse!!!

So disappointed and beyond frustrated. After 6 sessions of tattoo removal, I can unequivocally say, I do not recommend this place. And I find all the “wonderful staff reviews” to be quite deceiving. If by “wonderful staff” you mean, the staff at the front desk calling you sweetie and love every second, while aggressively trying to upsell you every damn visit.Upon my first consultation, they told me my small black ink tattoo would require about 10 sessions, and they urged me to buy a package. I have now completed my 6th session, and it’s barely faded at all. I’ve seen people with full sleeve tattoos get more progress after 6 sessions than this at other tattoo removal shops.And before you comment back Laseraway, and tell me it’s based on how your body metabolizes the laser removal, I’m fully aware of that. I’m very healthy, exercise 5 times a week, and drink plenty of water. There is no reason my body wouldn’t metabolize it.At my last session, I told my clinician that I’m not seeing progress, and her exact words were “ok let me crank up the laser”. Which leads me to believe the laser is based on levels and you are doing the bare minimum level for me, so I can come back and buy more and more packages for all eternity!!I get your whole business plans is sell everyone on endless packages, but I find your practices to be highly unethical and deceiving.I’m very close to lodging a complaint with the better business bureau, as I’ve wasted an entire year of my time, not to mention the money, and now I have to start all over again with another shop.

It saddens me to say this location has become extremely unprofessional over the last 6 months. I really try to avoid giving bad reviews but it’s out of control considering the amount of money that is spent at a business like thisThey have tried cancelling my appointment with only an hours notice, and other times when they do keep my appointment they are a minimum of 30minutes behind. Typically 30 minutes is understandable as things happen, but this is the same establishment that will cancel your appointment if you are FIVE minutes late. I would love to receive the same consideration that is expected from us as customersThere is no way to check how many more appointments you have left for which areas and none of the staff ever seem to know what areas I’m treating at any of my appointments. It’s confusing all around and there have been times where they skipped spots I paid for and did other spots and then took a session away from a different area.It’s completely confusing and as a customer it would be helpful for the staff to have this info organized. Especially when after every session they are pestering me to purchase another area that is on “sale”. They never share their original prices anywhere so there is no real way to verify that anything is actually discounted. Also why would I spend more money here if they can’t even keep up with the appointments they already have.To top it off the bed coverings always have stains on them

Since I found Laseraway been in love with their service in overall , absolutely all the personal that I have been attendend by it is professional , effective and attentive.Outcomes as best through the whole process getting hair removal in several areas . Came in for an IPL treatment from nurses Amanda K., Linda S., Viktorya N., Marj R. and Isabella C. and it couldnt have been better. They were attentive, considerate and made me feel very at ease throughout my treatment.

Whatever you do, do NOT go here, avoid at all cost. When you sign up for a consultation, they do not stop harassing you until you pick up. When you do you are roped in with promises that never come to fruition. They say at 7 session there’s at least 70% hair reduction. I was gullible. There hasn’t been any change. I was conned into under arms, legs and Brazilian service—and all have no changes. $4,000 and no changes. It’s awful. The technician say they’re going to try something new for you every session but I’m convinced they’re lying. There’s no way there should be zero results after four thousand dollars. Some technicians are hit or miss. The misses were especially awful: rushing through the Brazilian areas (it’s embarrassing, I get it. But it’s my area not your. And for $4,000 I expect professional service). One technician even left a tape-shaped scar on my arm. And not a single person ever stops trying to upsell you. It’s infuriating. They don’t care about your concerns just how desperate you are to pay for another service. And these people had the audacity to mess up a couple of my appointments.Forgot to add: they don’t tell you anything. You have to do the research. The reality is you can never wax again, you’re stuck with razors for life. Ironic since that’s what usually makes it worse. You don’t save money, you’re doomed to spend it for eternity.For $4,000 you’re just paying for their aesthetic, their PR and their brand. Stay away!!! This is not a place for woc. Their research and their lasers do not apply to woc. Waste of money.

If you mention any health related issues that refrain you from getting services from them, they completely disregard it. They prioritize the money instead of the clients. The clients get good treatment until any minor issue arises. To be a good client for them its like you must walk on glass and cater to their needs. When in reality the needs are of the people that’s the whole point of coming to Lazeraway getting help not ignored.

Rodeka was so informative and helpful to all of my questions and concerns. She is very welcoming and knowledgeable of the services and buisness itself provided. She is great and will make you feel at ease to know you’re in great care!

They are super kind, the staff is amazing the front desk wow, I was dealing with everything by text msg and they would answer you right away, no waiting treats you like a Queen, but as soon as a problem happens and you ask your refund oh my gosh they treat you like nothing. They gave me a window time for my refund to happened and nothing, I reached out with the same person through text, she is so not into gave me information. Money guys that’s all.

It’s a place with a wonderful staff, they offer you coffe to wait for your appointment and they’ve a very flexible schedule. My last laser session was with Jade, very professional ❤️

I couldnt be happier with the new Laser Away in Astoria. I went yesterday as Ive been getting a tattoo removed with the company for a little over a year. Lady was my clinician. Not only did she talk over everything to expect but she also had me laughing which really kept me at ease. Having a Laser Away within walking distance is great and the girls behind the desk were super sweet and most of them local so they know the neighborhood keeping it that neighborhood feel.

By far the best customer service I have experienced. The front desk staff Alison and Christian are amazing and very welcoming as soon as you walk in. They helped with all of my questions and I look forward to coming back!

I was ABOUT To use this business, spoke with someone on the phone, and they so rudely hung up. She changed her price so quickly from $3,200 to $2,500 (sketchy). And when I asked questions about coming in to speak with someone in person, she got extremely hostile. I also asked why my tattoo would take 10 sessions (because I clearly have never gotten tattoo removal before and AM CURIOUS) and she said that is just what it is, we have been doing this for 20+ years bla bla bla.SO dang rude. Avoid this place.

I went there to get my lips enhanced a few weeks ago, it was very nice, everyone was very professional and accommodating as well as very well informed, the only downside is that the service (injections) had the purpose to even out my lips but they were still asymmetrical (in other areas) after the procedure and they dont fix it if they come out this way.P.s No one ever contacted me back about this issue. Its been a couple months.

I love that Laser Away has RNs/NPs as staff so I’m assured that not only I’m getting the job done, but it’s get done safely as well. Thank goodness they opened in Astoria! The worst company that I ever had to deal with.... Ive been told that after 8 or 11 treatments I did 15 I paid extra treatments just so I have successfully hair removal and I put a complain twice supposely they gave me extra 2 treatments and no success they call me earlier telling me you have to pay extra treatments there is nothing we can doo.... so unprofessional and rudee
