Came in yesterday with a couple of sketches for tattoos I would like, and both Steve and his wife Signey made them both even better in design...I came back in today for my appointment and got both of them completed within an hour and a half. Originally, it was just gonna be yellow with light green in the mermaid tail, but Steve then said he wanted to add dark green and white with it, to give it the sparkle that mermaid scales have and it turned out really awesome!Both of them were awesome people to work with and talk to. The shop is clean and nicely put together, awesome music played and I couldnt ask for a better experience! I will definitely be back in the future! Thank you so very much!!!!!

I had a great time talking through my beautiful rose tattoo Steve you are awesome idk where you get your drive from but you are awesome. So is your ghost hunting wife too. Made me and my fiance feel right at home while she got her arrow and I got my rose tattoo on my hand.

I got two amazing tattoos from Steve Condon today. Steve and his wife were very accommodating and were able to work my girlfriend and I in with short notice for a total of four tattoos. They offered their expertise and knowledge to help guide with placement and line thickness. They were both very friendly, funny and were great to chat with. We will both be back for larger pieces in the near future. We cannot recommend their shop enough!

Steve and his wife are a dynamic duo! Walked in to see if I could get a nasty scar covered and it was transformed into a beautiful butterfly! You get an amazing greeting when you walk in, fun conversation throughout your time there, they make sure what you want will make you happy and take their time to help you design and decide. The shop was spotless, organized and I highly recommend! I wish I had a before picture but I am so grateful for the after❤️.My husband decided to get one too! He had a picture on his phone, they brought it to life, made some amazing improvements and it turned out amazing!!!

Went in with my wife - for her to get a tattoo. I ended up getting one. Normally they need a several days for design but it was a rare slow day (father’s day) for them. Steve is very knowledgeable about the styles and techniques. I showed a design and they improved on it and the tattoo turned out even better!

My husband and I walked in while exploring Astoria and couldn’t have been happier we did. Steve was so friendly the second we walked in the door. He was patient while I was deciding what I wanted, considering I showed up unprepared and he made the experience extremely fun! I couldn’t recommend this tattoo shop more and might even fly here from Minnesota to get more!

My wife and I got anniversary tattoos done today. They squeezed us in, in less than 24 hours as were visiting from out of state. Steve was clean, quick and possibly the funniest artist Ive ever sat for. Highly recommend.

The owner and his wife are some of the coolest people, AND she also does permanent makeup and ear piercings. They sell some body jewelry as well. Ive been in his chair twice now, and I love the work Ive gotten. Also, they have VERY competitive pricing.

Although our tattoos were already wrapped in these pictures… we couldn’t wait until they were healed to do this review. My fiancé and I visited on whim for a walk in and were wanting a small piece to remember our memories at the beach and Steve absolutely knocked it out of the park! Him and his wife were so incredibly helpful from start to finish. The attention to detail, placement, offering ways we could improve each tattoo, etc. the list goes on and on. We are very happy with how they turned out and will be making the 2 hour drive for all of our tattoos going forward.

When my husband and I travel we like to get small fine line tattoos to commemorate our trips together.We saw that Astoria Tattoo Co. had some great rating so we walked over.We were greeted immediately by a husband and wife team who accommodated every request in the design process and made sure it was exactly what we wanted. I didn’t catch her name but she was fantastic! And the cleanliness of the shop was outstanding!I was first up in the chair and our artist Steve was on point. Both of our fine line Sasquatch tattoos turned out PERFECT!! Line work was nice and crisp.Although our tattoos both took about 30-45mins we had great conversations and a memory to last a lifetime. I had a day off and had been looking to have some work done. Both of the shops in downtown Astoria were closed so I called Astoria Tattoo Company. The owner and I spoke briefly about what I was looking for and, because I was just around the corner, decided to meet at the shop and figure something out. My immediate impression of the shop was that it was clean, organized, and professional. I met with Steve, showed him what I wanted, and, because he had an appointment that had just become available, scheduled the work for the next day. He quoted me at two hours of work, kept my samples to do mock-ups, and I took off.The next day he had the traces ready to roll. We started the work and, all throughout, he was courteous, talkative, and kept checking on me. I had not had work done on about twenty years so he was extremely patient. Nearly three hours later we were done and, true to his word, he charged me for two. I have received nothing but compliments for the work and I have nothing but compliments for him. If you’re looking to have some work done, give him a call. Take a look at his work on Facebook or Google. This is by far the cleanest shop I have even seen and he takes immense pride in his work, his shop, and his customers.

This is an honorable local business run by a benevolent power couple. They put in extra effort toward reassuring my anxious child about her ear piercing. The Shop was calm and pristine. Even the music wasnt just boring Classical!After my kids piercing was complete, she was offered further compassion. The shop also presented her with a plethora of sparkly stud earrings to select from, which was an instant booster!

My wife and I walked in without an appointment. Luckily, they had a cancellation and were able to take us. They did two matching memorial tattoos for us of our beloved dog. The service was awesome, the atmosphere was nice, everything was clean and the work was great. We are both so stoked and thankful for our forever memories. Highly recommend

Came here for my first tattoo this week. Steve was great from the start-kind, welcoming, and really helped to make me feel comfortable and knew what to expect. His engaging conversation was so pleasant and distracting, that I felt very relaxed. The space is lovely, tucked away from the hustle and bustle on street. I went in today as a walk in with just a simple outline of a sea turtle nothing to fancy. Steven helped me out and made a design so much more detailed and unique!!! So great full for his help he was so amazing. I recommend this place ! And plan on coming back soon.

Considering it had been 18 years since my last tattoo, I was pretty nervous 😩 but excited to get another one. Did this in memory of a loved one who passed and Steve did an excellent job with the design and putting the personal handwriting into one uniform piece. Steve and his wife (name forgotten) were kind and easy to work with. I had no problem sitting and visiting for the three hours we were there. Good music and good conversations. Shop was immaculate. I came here for my first tattoo the other day and it was such a great experience! Steve is super friendly and accommodating and his shop is extremely organized and clean. His $75 an hour rate is the fairest I’ve ever seen, and while most places start running the meter upon your arrival, he only charges for the time that the actual inking takes. I was under the needle for two and a half hours for a fairly big bicep piece, and he ended up only charging me $50! I was also very satisfied with the finished product, I’ll definitely be returning soon to get more work done. 😋

Facebook messaged owner an image and tattoo request. Made an informal arrangement based on the next days schedule for both the owner and my husband and I. He said hed message me the next day which he did. We made arrangements to come in. The owner was nice and friendly and welcoming. The place was so CLEAN & SAFE feeling! He had already been working on the stencil. Husband jumped in the chair and the project was underway. The work done was excellent. The art had very fine lines and he did them perfectly. We are so pleased. The price felt very fair, the timing was efficient. We couldnt be happier. If your looking for good work in a MEGA CLEAN safe environment. This is the shop for you!

I received my first tattoo at Astoria Tattoo Company and I cant believe how amazing the whole experience was. Ive walked into several different shops in hopes of getting a tattoo and turned around and walked out. However, upon walking in to this shop, I was in awe at how clean and comfortable it was. I mean, this dude was so organized that his tools and needles had designated places and were aligned in the drawers ever so neatly. Not only was he clean and organized, but he was friendly and so knowledgeable about what would be right for me and how to take care of my tattoo to ensure that it would look amazing after it healed. I was also afraid that it would hurt, but he made me comfortable; most of the time it just felt hot. My tattoo is beautiful and Im so impressed with his ability to make his art look real. His service is great and he makes you feel like an old friend. I will definitely come back and I highly recommend him!

I couldnt say enough good things about my experience here! This tattoo was very meaningful to us and we knew we wouldnt just trust anyone to do a tribute to our dog. But Steve hit it out of the park, its exactly what we wanted simple and thoughtful. This was the final step in honoring this amazing dog who changed our life. I loved getting my first tattoo here, they made sure I was comfortable and it did not hurt a lot. Everything was very sanitary and there was music and talking to help distract from any pain that there was. By the end we went over every detail for aftercare and my tattoo turned out awesome. Overall an amazing experience for someone with such little experience with tattoos.

So I went with my adult children to ATS, where THEY were going to get tattoos. I had NO intention on getting a cover-up tattoo that night. Well my husband recommended me doing it, my son recommended a design so I looked on line to see what I could find while they were getting there. I showed Steve the old tattoo and what I was thinking Id want and he said it was definatly something he could do.So I sat down in his chair and he began to cover up a 24 year old tattoo that Ive had so much embarrassment, shame and just plain regret over for at least 19 years.Steve is AMAZING. NOT ONLY is the cover up perfect. Im free from so much junk in my heart and filled with PURE JOY AND DELIGHT with my new BEAUTIFUL tattoo. Stopped in yesterday to sit with a friend while she got part of her sleeve done, Steve was so funny, super fun to hang out with and after watching him work some magic on her arm, I had to get one too! His lines are perfect, his script work is spot on and he is so cool. He definitely has the CLEANEST shop Ive ever been to in Astoria and Seaside. Its not all covered in stickers and clutter like other shops. I is so clean and organized. regular music playing in the background instead of some screaming guy that wasnt hugged enough as a child, Im going back on payday!

Came here to get a tattoo on 6/18/20 and had probably one of the best experiences getting a tattoo. Not only did it turn out to be probably my best tattoos because it’s absolutely beautiful but the artist also custom drew my piece and spent a lot of time on it and didn’t charge me a fortune. Prices are really great here. They’re super friendly and flexible as well. I highly recommend this place!!

Ive gotten 3 tattoos so far from Steve. Im gonna go to him for the rest of my tattoos and I have quite a few from other artists. Its not just because hes a good artist, he talks you like your a human being and not just a human canvas. Ill recommend to anybody who asks for a good tattoo artist!

Amazing guy!! Extremely skilled in line work and shadowing. Good vibes all around and makes the environment feel comfortable for the person getting tattooed. VERY clean and sanitary and he seems to be knowledgeable and really confident in his beautiful art work. Cant express enough how impressed we were with our experience and definetly want to emphasize how kind, warm, approachable, and comfortable he makes the room and enviorment feel!!!! I tried to schedule an appointment and they said they werent interested? It wasnt an offensive or weird drawing, so I was very confused. Also poor customer service, when I sent them an image of the tattoo I wanted they never got back to me, I had to call them again to find out they rejected me. Weirdest way to run a business.Edit: It is also very rude to say my image was poorly done and that it would reflect poorly on the artist. What someone tattoos on their body is deeply personal, and I found it very hurtful when they dismissed a drawing my late grandfather made for me as not well done.

I usually don’t write reviews but this time I just had to, so people know about Astoria Tattoo Co. Just got my first tatto. Steve the owner is a true artist. I picked a fairly hard subject, M C Eshers ribbon face person, so my first tatto plus a difficult subject made me a little apprehensive. First it was not painful, Steve has a very light touch. Most important the finished product was wonderful. If you want a tattoo, your first or 10th this is the place to go. Great prices, extremely clean, friendly and talent. I’ll be 70 next year and will probably get another. After my wife saw his work she is considering one of her own.

Omg love him and the place and the work. Took a day off decided hell Ill get a tattoo. Was going to go in seaside where I live but decided at 9am of tattoo day to look in astoria. Read the reviews and my mind was changed. Called at opening asked if he could get me in that day. With no hesitation he said yep come in at 1. I got there and it was perfect just the place for me. I wanted just a couple words with some kind of teal incorporated into it. He nailed it perfectly. He was super helpful and very down to earth. This is my one and only place for tattoos now. Recently my girlfriend got a couple tattoos here. They turned out absolutely terrible. Misshapen, skin showing through, bad lines.When we tried to get a refund or have them fix it, they refused and insulted my girlfriends personal tattoos.Were going to get them removed once they heal, which of course will be even more expensive.Theyre cash-only, probably so you cant get your bank to refund it for you. Absolutely horrible experience.

Nice job Steve! Yesterday you made a 60 year old woman cry like a 10 year old girl at your shop because she didn’t know it would be so offensive to you that she thought you might do a walk-in tattoo for her while she was in town. If it had been just that, it wouldn’t have been so bad (for her), but you had to go the extra mile to embarrass and belittle her in the process of turning her down. Well done.I hope that afterwards you felt a little bad about it and that it occurred to you that you could have handled that a little differently. You could have treated her with a little more respect and instead of ‘schooling’ her for the sake of your ego, you might have tried acknowledging her as a person. What would it have cost you to have spent that 10-15 minute encounter a little kinder towards her? Acknowledging her simple desire to turn a small, blob of an old tattoo into something she could be happy with. And instead of mocking the amateurish sketch/idea she brought and telling her it was beneath you, you might have just let her know that with more time, collaboration, and $25, maybe the next time she was in Astoria, and with a prescheduled appt., you could give her something you both could be happy with. She didnt mean to offend you with her naive request.

Great people, very welcoming environment, but the tattoo artist needs more line work practice, my tattoo looks very shakey, before you go here I highly highly suggest that you look up his Instagram and really zoom in on his line work, that was my mistake for not doing that, and if youre someone like me who gave an honest review he will message you and tell you its your fault that your tattoo looks like that, when I have other tattoos and my uncle is a tattoo artist, so I know how to take care of the art that is on my body, and even though my tattoo is on my hand the line work should still not be as shakey as it is

Got a very small simple piece on my hand/finger, artist is awesome, was expecting it to hurt since it was on my finger, didnt feel any kind of pain! Very pleased and will be going back for sure!
