I have had a couple tattoos done by sabkitty, and she is amazing!! The designs have been incredible, and the line work and shading are very well done. She is also so kind and patient, and worked with me through the entire process to collaboratively design my (very) lower back piece! I would definitely recommend her for either a custom or any of her flash!The studio itself was also very clean, pleasantly decorated, and very respectful and professional.

Christian did our four sister tattoos. He was friendly, welcoming, and did an amazing job! Got us in the same day he was wonderful! Definitely recommend him! All the staff was friendly, great place.

I have now had the pleasure of getting two tattoos from this shop. One was a cover-up around my ankle, and the other was part of a Flash Friday. All of the staff is absolutely wonderful and has been a delight to converse with. Gundy and Christian have both tattooed me, but I have had the pleasure of seeing other amazing works of art on friends of mine, from other artists.The care, guidance and overall positivity makes every visit a great experience and I look forward to many more works of art!

I got my very first tattoo yesterday and it couldnt have been a better experience. Marco made me feel at ease right away, asked me the meaning behind my tattoo and was incredibly kind and sensitive towards the delicate nature of my story, talked me through the process, and did exactly what I wanted for my tattoo. Its beautiful and the perfect way to honor the baby girl that I recently lost. Thank you Marco! Ill be back for another tattoo sooner than later.

I dont even know where to begin with this beautiful Shop. Ive had several tattoos done over the last 15 years and I can confidently say that this has been the best experience for me.First when I called and Gundy answered. He was so kind and respectful when I informed him of my correct pronouns. He was patient with my 87 questions and had such a pleasant air about him.Then when I got to the shop, I was met with the warmest of welcomes, and no one bat an eye at my wheelchair. When I showed them the image I wanted, they were, again, incredibly sincere about how sentimental the 25 year old piece of paper was.Christian was my artist and this man was a breath of fresh air. He let me stay in my wheelchair, he didnt make a fuss. He even asked if there was anything they could do to make their shop more accommodating. He was open to conversation and that was huge for meThis shop is a gem that Aurora should be so grateful to have.Thank you, boys. You have earned a loyal client.

Christian was awesome super friendly and kind. My tattoos came out amazing and was able to fit me and my sisters all in same day. The staff was welcoming it was a good vibe and chill. Would highly recommend.

I am a Veteran, and over the years I have been in plenty, lets say, shops. This one is far from the best I have been in. Deacon is an incredible artist who gave me l like my 25th tattoo. The environment is incredible; Gundy is an outstanding man and artist who welcomed me in like I was family. All future work is going to be there.

I had a great experience at this shop. My artist was Kenyer and he is amazing! I got my tattoo on my foot. Everyone warned me it was going to hurt but I was determined. It sure did hurt and Kenyer made sure I was as comfortable as possible the whole time. The shop was very clean and organized. Everyone I met was very nice. My wife and I went in to get some tattoos and touch ups done. Our artist and the other artists there were wonderful, polite, and very talented.The problem with this location is the owner.The owner came in aggressive and angry being sexist and aggressive to my wife and our artist. He was rushing and being childish in front of customers. We watched during our session our artist wrongfully terminated and then refuse to listen to anything she or my wife said to explain the situation. He changed his demeanor entirely when talking to any guy there.It sounds like from the employees that were left, that this is why he can’t keep talent there.

Visited this shop to get a tattoo done by Martin. I’ve now had 6 tattoos done by him and he does an amazing job every time; pays close attention to details and adds his own unique style to every piece. Would absolutely recommend this shop and artist to anyone in search.

Ive come to realize that people in Colorado dont know how to conduct a business. I recently contacted this location the first time was months ago, the girl who responded at first I thought it was a receptionist but was a tattoo artist named Anna but stopped responding once I requested another person to do a tattoo. Ive reached out three times and no response but luckily I found a better place thats professional.

The shop has a pretty good group of people. Sabrina was super nice and always focused on you while youre there. Will definitely be back

Went and got my first professional tattoo with Dustin and he did an amazing job. I got all my questions answered, patiently and kindly. He spent way too long adjusting it to my liking and did so gladly and didnt start the sacral pieces until I was happy. During the tattoo he checked in regularly, had a very good pace for the placement I had chosen and was all in all very accommodating and considerate. Oh also it looks amazing.

My sister and I have talked about getting our tattoos for years and Dustin and Larry totally exceeded our expectations. I really couldnt have asked for a better experience and theyre great company too! Im from out of state and they provided me is with quality work with plenty of time to catch my flight. Well my experience at this location has been amazing. Larry really knew what I wanted and brought it to life. He was so amazing I went back a week after he did the first one. Now I am thinking of something else to do. Plus my son that lives in NC want him to do his half sleeve and my daughter here is going to draw her own tattoo for him to do. I had a few bad experiences with other tattoo artists in the past, I even gave up for a long time until I met Gil. The shop is super clean! and that is SUPER important to me. Havent been to this location but my tattoo artist German recently moved on over here and I have to say that he has been absolutely amazing to work with. This guy is SUPER personable and makes you feel at home as well as being flexible and able to work with you on a design and has never disappointed! I dont see myself getting a tattoo from many other people and have been able to watch this talented artist aspire to become better with every piece of art he does and highly recommend working with him! thanks German!

Gil has done two large tattoo for me - a large cover up piece on my hip/thigh and a half sleeve. I went to him based on a recommendation by a co-worker. He was very thorough in my consultation of the cover up and traced my existing tattoo. It took two 4 hour sessions to finish and it turned out great. His linework is awesome and shading is just as great. He knew what spots would be tender and took extra care in those areas. I knew I had to go back to him for my half sleeve. Again, great work. Ive had multiple people ask me where I had my work done. Ive recommended him to my husband and a few other friends.

Talented and experienced, these guys know what theyre doing. I have a tattoo by German and a nose piercing by Larry. Both experiences were great. I love the end results! The Havana Street team is really friendly, which is really nice especially when youre new to tattoo shops.And I want to mention that German sets the bar in being sanitary. I got there a little before my appointment and watched him prep. There are so many things that an artist may touch before tattooing you, and he always made sure that he got new gloves. Ok so lets talk about Havana Street Tattoo shop. I am visiting from Texas and started checking out local places with good reviews. I found Havana Street Tattoo shop and contacted them via Google messaging. The owner answered right away and stated they could fit me in for what I requested to have done. Once I arrived Maria greeted me and helped decide on exactly what I wanted to get and she seriously custom created this art that I now have on my forearm. If this place was anywhere near my home town I would be covered in tats in under a year. Great shop and great people. Maria talks and gets to know you and hears what you want, amazing work

I got my first tattoo here by German. He is a magnificent artist, the shop has a very serene atmosphere-very clean & sterile.The the staff is extremely nice, knowledgeable & friendly.I had a design of a skull that I wanted that I had found online and German was able to take the design, and not only do an incredible job of duplicating it, but he actually made the tattoo better then the original image! I look forward to getting my next tattoo here and I highly recommend Havana Street Tattoo.

German Fernandez did me and my boyfriends tattoo and he was great! He is super honest when it comes to your tattoos and is very informative, so he wouldnt give you a tattoo if he knew it wouldnt look good. Also, he takes pride in his work and is very autistic. He will take his time with your tattoo, so it will come out really good. The place is really clean and the staff is very nice and it is just a chill place to be. I absolutely loved the environment in this place, all the artists were super laid back and were funny as hell! The main reason I got my tattoo here is because of my buddy Vinnie, he started working there recently and I have always loved his art since I first saw it 7 years ago, but I just loved the whole experience. All the tattoos I have seen other than mine done by Vinnie blew me away, and I already knew he was good! I will be coming back for more!

Very happy with Gils work. In the process of doing a half sleeve and will like to make it a full sleeve when I can afford it. He is also working on a half sleeve for my wife. First of all id like to mention how sterile and clean the artists are here! You will observe them change there gloves and clean every area they will be using and to me that is very important. I was tattooed by German Fernandez great dude by the way. He explains each step thoroughly so that you understand what he will be doing as well as the after care so your tattoo will heal perfectly. This was my first tattoo and from the experience I had here it will not be my last! I definitely recommend Havana Street Tattoo!

I have been going to Havana Street for about 3 years now and Gil is the best. I have a total of 7 tattoos done by Gil, the longest one took approximately 24 hours. The tree was hand drawn on my back and turned out beautiful! My husband also has a full sleeve (done by Gil) and we cant go anywhere without someone commenting on how awesome our pieces are.

I got my tattoo done by Larry and I am very happy with it! He was able to draw up the design exactly how I wanted and kept me in loop during the whole process. If you ever need a tattoo Larry is definitely a great artist to go with!

Gil is the MAN! Ive had about 24 hours in the chair with him and I couldnt be happier with the work. Lines are so smooth and sharp, detail is ON POINT. The color that he adds to a piece makes it come alive. I cant wait to get in and finish my arm piece, the only thing stopping me is my budget. This is one of the cleanest establishments I have ever walked into. I had real concerns about getting work done during a pandemic. COVID safety procedures were explained to me the first time during my phone consult. They were reiterated via text message a few days before my appointment. Those procedures began the second I walked in the door. Every customer is asked to wash hands, place belongings in clean tubs, and must wear a mask at all times. I watched every artist there sanitize themselves, their station, and even the door handles to the establishment frequently and thoroughly. This is a business that is highly committed to your safety and theirs. Havana Street Tattoo is the cleanest, most safety-oriented business I have walked into since COVID began.Also, I am incredibly pleased with the work Gilbert did for me. He was professional, created EXACTLY the piece we discussed on the phone, delivered it for preapproval exactly when he promised he would, and was a dedicated professional the entire time he was working on me. Ive been going to Havana Street Tattoo for a few years now. My tattoo artist is Gil, and hes done all my art except for my very first tat. The shop is super clean and full super talented artists. Ill be seeing you soon Gil.

Got my last two tattoos done by Maria (when she worked at inksylum) she now works here.I have 10 tats and have never had a single issue until she did them.My last two tats were in memory of my daughter. One was a ribbon and the other was a copy of one of her hello kitty drawings. I got them done a year apart. When I got the second one (hello kitty) she touched up the ribbon she did the previous year, without an additional charge. Its now been 7 months since she did the last one. I just reached out to her to set up an appointment and she tells me that free touch ups are only good for 6m well.... then why did she touch up the other one a year later without an issue? Now theres a set up fee which is the shop minimum.This is horrible customer service on top of bad service. Dont waste your time, money or skin!

Very artistic shop with real good vibes. The artists that were there were all very friendly and nice. My girlfriend got tattooed by an apprentice and it is one of the best of her 10 she already has. Highly recommended if you have a chance to stop by.

I came into Havan St tattoo with an idea for a tribute/memorial for my dad who passed away and his bestfriend who is slowly fading away as well. I told German my idea and not only did he make my vision come tire he made it better than I could of imagined!!!! I have 5 (now 6) memorials for my dad and I can honestly say this is tied with the portrait of my dad!!! I absolutely love it!!! Weve spent 20hrs in 2 days and have another session tomorrow!!! My husband and I were referred to Havana street by my sister in law. We walked in looking to get work done by owner Larry but learned about his unfortunate accident. But in learning about those events were we introduced to shop apprentice Warren. Warren is a very professional and very talented artist. He did both mine and my husbands first tattoos. These tattoos are both important and meaningful to us and he took that into consideration. Warren has a great personality and makes the process very easy and clear. We will always go to Havana street for our tattoo needs!

Got a new tat done by Dutch last monday for my christmas present. I must tell you to go see him. My experience in the chair was relaxing as I almost dozed off. I am very happy with the result. I been doing aftercare religiously as suggested by him and this has been by far my best experience in the chair as well as healing process and I have 13 tats from various different artists but he was the best and is my new go to guy in Colorado. Went with a group of girlfriends to honor a friend who passed. Was such an amazing experience and they made us all comfortable, we all got what we wanted, and the whole “event” was as meaningful as we hoped it would be.

This is our second year traveling to Denver, Colorado from Chicago. This year we wanted to do something different, so my boyfriend and I decide to get some tattoos. We needed to find the best place/Artist since this was my boyfriends first tattoo, we started to shop around. We Google the reviews of the tatto shops near our hotel. I will say that Havana street Tattoo was the best choice. We got greeted by German Hernandez. He dedicated his time to listen to our ideas and gave us his input. After meeting with German Fernandez we still went to 2 other places. Remember we wanted the best, at the end of the night we decided that German was our best choice. We liked his honesty and was very pleasant. When we arrived at our appointment the next day he was playing my favorite music so I knew it was meant to be. The enviroment was great, very welcoming. German never rushed he took his time on my boyfriends tattoo. very detailed, when he got done almost 3 hours later he still inspected it to make sure it was perfect.. he explained all home care instructions. We came back to chicago with a great piece of art.. my boyfriend was pleased with his first tattoo and so was I. I have been here three times. First two times were a long time ago and got my belly button pierced and my nose pierced by people who dont work at this shop anymore. Did an alright job.About a year ago, went in with my sister to get matching tattoos. She got a moon, I got a sun. Both on our upper wrists. Long story short, the guy drew up my sun (i think it was Warren) and I wasnt too fond of the drawing. I told him I wanted a more basic circle and he said well a perfect circle is going to be more difficult ... So went ahead and hoped for the best. (I know, very stupid on my part). Finished the tattoo, and was not satisfied. At all. Did not look like a sun; which should be pretty easy to make out. I showed plenty of people it and no one said it looked remotely like a sun. It looked like a germ. Lol.. My sisters moon turned out fine. But mine, no. I ended up having to get it covered up months later. So yeah. 👍 I understand this was a long time ago and dont expect a response or anything. Just giving my review.

Horrible costumer service. i called to set up an appointment and talk about pricing for a full sleeve tattoo and the guy i talked with was super rude very short worded and payed little regard to what i was asking and saying. Then when i done setting up my appointment time and date i decide to cancel because of the level of rudeness and he said yeah huh bye. and before i could get one more word in, he hung up, even though i had a couple more questions. RUDE. DO NOT GO HERE. who ever was answering the phones at 4pm on nov. 2, 2015 needs a review from other staff. never have i been treated so poorly for asking about tattoos and pricing from a TATTOO SHOP where its apart of their job to help answer my questions. thanks for giving me reason to not go here! you lost a high paying costumer today.
