Overall happy with the final tattoo but didn’t have a great experience with communication and interaction with Brent. He made us feel like an inconvenience with his attitude during our first tattoo session and our touch up session. He didn’t communicate well and he was 40 minutes late to our session. The owner, Gil, was really kind and helped us understand why certain changes were made with the tattoo design but we would have preferred that kind of communication from the artist doing our tattoo because we ended up not trusting Brent. Overall, would not go back to Brent, but would go to another artist at this location.

If you’re looking for an efficient tattoo process, look no further. After having two custom tattoos completed here. I will definitely be returning for more to complete my sleeve. Clean professional environment with seasoned artist ready to educate you about your tattoo journey.

I’ve gotten about 8 tattoos now from quesa and he never fails to amaze! He’s insanely talented and works with you to make any idea come to life. I’ve never had a negative experience in this shop, everyone is super friendly and easy to get along with. I’ve definitely found my forever shop.

My tattoo artist at the shop was Quesa and I couldnt be happier working with him on my half sleeve project. He was very communicative and really spent the time taking my ideas and explaining the perspective piece and helped guide my design to something more fitting in that location. His artistic skills also cannot be denied and just looks amazing. His prices were very reasonable for the amount of skill he possesses and he was quite generous when taking into account chargeable hours. I would definitely return for more projects in the future! The shop itself is very clean and comfortable. My limited interactions with the owner, Gil and artist Cappy were also positive. Thank you all!

Came in as a walk in for matching tattoos with my sister and had such a great experience! Saw Gil and he got us in and out quickly, gave us exactly what we were looking for and made the experience fun as well. Would highly recommend to everyone!

I’ve had 3 tattoos done by mister Gil (@besttattoogil on instagram) and they all came out perfect! Truly an expert in his craft, and the same can be said for his co workers. You never feel unwelcome or judged when in the shop, it really is a place to feel welcome. Recommend this place to anyone wanting their first tattoo, or anyone looking for a new artist.

Legacy is amazing! Quesa has done 3 pieces for me and I am in awe of each one. I have been tattooed by 4 other artists before I found him, but his level of communication and professionalism is absolutely unmatched. I’ve never had someone so receptive to changing concepts and his designs always come out better than I could’ve pictured in my head. The shop itself is clean, comfortable, and approachable. The atmosphere isn’t intimidating and every interaction I’ve had with the other artists and their clients has been very pleasant. Can’t recommend them more!

Warren was AMAZING! The design I wanted was rather basic, but I wanted some tweaks.. Warren did research on Egyptian pyramids and made this design 100% perfect with what I wanted. If you look closely, the detail/shading in the pyramid looks like actual stones/bricks!! So Skilled!!!Very clean shop, punctual, awesome atmosphere, and VERY professional, creative, and talented!

This place is AWSOME! The shop is clean and sanitary, we always are worry free regarding the shop.We have worked with 2 of the artists, Gil and Jared on multiple occasions. They both are GREAT! A pleasure to work with. FANTASTIC artists, professional and courteous! Both of them are very patient and listen to what you are wanting. They won’t hesitate to give you their suggestions to make the tat even better. We both took their advice and are glad we did. Gil has been tattooing me for 10+ years. I walked in & he did a great job fixing a bad tattoo for me the first time. He’s now designed & tattooed multiple custom tattoos for me. I recently decided to start a portfolio to become an apprentice someday. I came in and asked for advice and the person there was so helpful and awesome!! He gave me so much good advice and showed me some of his own work that was beautifully done!!! Went to this shop for the first time because it’s where my boyfriend gets all of his tattoos, I got one and then loved the experience so much I went back a few days later and got another!! The shop was extremely clean and I felt really safe the entire time! The artist I had was Gil, he was extremely friendly and professional and did everything and then some to make and keep everything clean! He changed gloves each time he handled anything, adjusting the chair, setting up supplies, as well as when performing the actual tattoo. He had all of his tools newly covered with wrap so that I knew it was all sanitary! I have had other tattoos done other places but have found my forever shop!! Thank you Gil and team!!

Gil and his Team go above and beyond to make sure you have a good safe and clean experience! They have strict regulations to insure safety in the shop during these crazy times! The new shop they opened up is great. As you all know we are in a pandemic where you can only set an appointment to get into the building and that’s fine with me. The building is clean the building is fresh and new, and the equipment is clean as well the manager was extremely nice and I’m glad that I had the opportunity to meet Gil. I got my first tattoo from him and he made it beautifully I love it I still do love it after the healing process it’s amazing just to stare at it. So thank you Gil for giving me something that I’ve wanted for years it means so much. If anyone is getting a fresh new tattoo I recommend this place and their shop in Aurora I also have a shop in Englewood. But I highly recommend both shops either way I’d ask for Gil or you can ask for one of his great employees who I believe have a great talent as well.

WOW, what a great place. Received numerous tattoos from Gil here, but found the whole staff friendly and helpful. During the time of Covid there is nothing to worry about. The all wear masks and everything is clean and sanitized. Once you walk in they have you wash your hands and all of their tattoos are done by appointment only so you there I’d no need to worry about random walk-ins. They take the virus seriously, which is great to know that you can feel safe. Oh and they do the best work I have ever saw and have had done.

This shop is the cleanest, most organized, and professional shop I’ve ever been in- especially with COVID, it was nerve racking to find someone /somewhere you trust but Gilbert made me feel very safe and the process extremely easy. I came to Gilbert for my first ever tattoo- a beautiful tiger on my leg. Since then, he’s been working on my sleeve and his talent is amazing. My family now gets all their tattoos from Gilbert. Without a doubt I recommend Gilbert for all your tattooing needs, you will not regret it! 10/10!

Best tattoo shop Ive found yet. Warran has done incredible work on me. Hes been my go to for years. I have 3 of my biggest pieces by him and am so happy with all of his work. I highly recommend you check him out! You wont be disappointed. Hes also a really chill and laid back person which makes it easier to feel comfortable.

This shop goes the distance when it comes to customer service and safety. I have been seeing one of the artists here for almost a decade now and he has always been a stickler for cleanliness and safety. I watch him change his gloves so much it makes me feel safe. I recently got a tattoo and they have even gone above and beyond again with COVID-19 precautions. They go above and beyond with the precautions and procedures, and they are easy to follow!! With the video they send out before the session explaining the process makes it super easy to follow!! If you want amazing work, clean and safe environment and artists that will make you the priority go to this shop!! They got your back and do not disappoint!!

This place is awesome! Gils the man, been my artist for a couple years and Ill always go to him. Shop is on top of things , especially during Covid-19 . You come in feeling safe, theyre taking every measure to make sure everyone is safe, taking temps, keeping everything clean. Whole crew there make you feel like family. I have been going for quite a few years now. I generally get tattooed by Gil Ledesma, he shades extremely well on darker toned skin. His lines are precise and he is a great artist. The whole shop is talented and does amazing work. Legacy Tattoo does not do walk ins unfortunately, they have a sister shop, Havana Tattoo, that will happily take walk in appointments.

Gil is an incredible artist and by the far the best I have worked with. Very professional and I am thrilled with the work. Gil is such an amazing tattoo artist, he truly goes above and beyond in all aspects of his craft. I first came to him years ago to get a tribute for my sister. He took my idea and truly ran with it, he designed not one but two concepts for me to choose from for my sleeve. He has so much passion for his art and is always excited about the next piece!Since then I have been In recently as well for other pieces. I felt so comfortable even during these Covid times. He has an incredible thorough Covid policy. He is extremely professional and delivers amazing work. I highly recommend him.

Gil again put down some quality professional work! It was my fourth time working with Gil but the first time at the new shop. The shop was very clean and sterile, Gil and the other artists do an excellent job keeping everything clean and made the whole experience better with their attention to detail with everything they do! Highly recommend!!

Personally I have only had work done by Gil but I have interacted with every member of the shop and all are clean, professional and courteous. They took the time to close their doors and implement safety procedures including temperature checks and a hand wash/sanitize station immediately at the front. I have a large tattoo that requires many sessions and each time they have had me fill out paperwork for contact tracing and given me a pen that only I use, never skimping on safety because they “know” me.The work Gil has done is amazing beyond belief, no one believes it’s actually a coverup. I was embarrassed by my back and Gil has truly transformed it into a work of art. It has been almost 2 years (I was gone for about 10 months though) of work and he has never gotten bored or rushed to get it done. He also placed tattoos on my hands that are very important to me and they have not faded or burst. I recommend Gil to anyone seeking tattoo work and he actually was the only person I trusted to do both of my boys first tattoos.

The artists are all very good there. I go see Gil my self but Ive gotten some work by Warren as well. That are both amazing artists and fun to get a tattoo with. It very clean professional and welcoming as well.

Great experience from start to finish at Legacy Tattoo Collective. Brent was my artist and he responded immediately to my email inquiry and set up an appointment. Covid protocols were in place, and followed and I felt completely comfortable the entire time! The space was bright and open and incredibly clean. Upon arriving, Brent worked with me to create the perfect tattoo for my 20th wedding anniversary. He was able to bring several ideas I had together into one piece and it turned out better than I could have imagined. He was personable, and easy to talk to, professional and worth every penny. I have already received so many compliments on the quality and design of the piece! I highly recommend Brent and this Tattoo studio!

Great artist work here! The studio is nice and clean, they take COVID-19 very seriously! When you walk in, there is a procedure for making sure everyone is safe. The studio is immaculate, and very sterile. The artists here draw exceptionally well and your tattoo will look awesome. This place is definitely worth checking out. The artists here have won awards for their tattoo work.

One stop for any tattoo design. If youre going go get your first tattoo then I strongly suggest that Legacy Tattoo is your only destination.The most important thing as per my understanding is capturing the expectation of the person who wants to get the tattoo and the design has to match those expectations. Legacy Tattoo and Gil nailed it. From day one 6 years ago to now it has always remained professional place with a friendly touch. They will clarify all the doubts a first timer might have regarding tattooing. Best tattoo place in my opinion and in the opinion of all the ppl I’ve referred!

I had been in the market for a new tattoo for awhile now, when I was scrolling on instagram one day, and Quesadillas instagram came up. I was checking out his page, when I noticed how detailed and how clean his work was. A couple days later he had posted that he had an opening, so of course I messaged him to see if it was still open. Unfortunately someone else snapped it up, but a couple days later he had messaged me saying that he had another opening. I immediately took it. To make a long story short, his quality of work is truly impressive, hes a very nice, and knowledgable artist, who makes very good use of his time when tattooing. I have gotten lots of comments on my new art, and would definitely recommend him to anyone and everyone! Definitely will come back for future projects.

Oh my goodness ...I have no other words to explain this place other than ONE OF A KIND!!!! This is the first tattoo business that I walked in and it looks sterile !!! I felt sooo safe, this owner gets it!!! I felt like I was getting my tattoo in a professional business, I didnt feel like I was being worked on by a stereo typical tattoo guy. I got a tattoo from Warren and had a great experience. He really listened to me and gave me a gorgeous custom piece of art i am proud to wear. I was worried about color (i’m lightskin) but he picked out reds, yellows, and oranges that turned out beautiful. I don’t have a lot of tattoos so I asked quite a few questions and he talked me thru everything and didn’t make me feel dumb about anything i asked. Everybody in the shop was friendly. Definitely look forward to getting another piece from Warren in the future.

Just finished a half sleeve with Warren and I couldn’t be happier with how it turned out and the process it took to get here. He was a pleasure to work with, very clean/sanitary, and is an amazing artist.

I was referred to The Legacy Tattoo and shop owner Gilbert by a friend of mine. My brother and I wanted to do something special and get sibling tattoos. From the first consultation to the actual appt, the process was smooth & easy. Given the pandemic and social distancing, the consultation and deposit were all done via phone. Shop Owner Gilbert ensured that payment was secured and done via landline. The consultation was done in two parts once with me and then again with my brother. Gilbert was patient and understanding. He never rushed us as we narrowed down the wording and font choices. He understood the importance of this session and never took away from that aspect.The scripting artwork Gilbert provided was amazing! I actually sent him a preferred font style and he was able to match the style perfectly. Both appts took no more than hour. During my session, Gilberts customer service was 5+ stars. I felt comfortable and he engaged in conversation with me the entire time, not only was this a pleasant experience, it also took my mind off of the pain and after about 10mins in, I felt no pain.COVID-19 Precautions:Upon arrival for our pre-set appts, Gilbert adhered to his pre-set expectations given COVID-19, with this my brother and I were not surprised by the health and safety measures in place. Of course my brother and I wanted to sit with each during our sessions however for the safety for ourselves, the shop and the artists, Gilbert explained that we could not be in the shop together which we understood and expected. Every other artist within the shop were also told & followed the same expectations and to ensure not too many artists had clients in at the same time. Gilbert ensured social distancing and limited scheduling per the State Mandate, the shop was clean and sanitized thoroughly.Upon entry we were asked to sanitize our hands, before and after signing the initial paperwork. Gilberts work station and tools were visibly clean and sanitized. And masks were worn by all the entire time.I will definitely be returning for more art work and will recommend Gilbert and his team to my friends and family!
