Naked Als Tattoos & Piercing

Multiple visits to this place. Me and my friend both were pierced here, her piercing ended up rejecting because the barbell chosen by the piercer was too small. I came in for a jewelry change and no gloves were used when touching my piercings, the jewelry used for my piercing was a completely different shape, meaning itll ruin the healing progress, meaning it will just reject. The piercer did not mention any of this information and I was told itll be fine to change it. Another professional piercer was even shocked they did this when I told them this information. The other piercing was pulled out way too fast and completely ripped my piercing hole wider. These are piercers who do not care about their customers well-beings. I do not recommend getting pierced here.

Got a few piercings and a tattoo the night before st. Patricks day. Ed did mine and my boyfriends tattoos, they are fantastic. I recomend making an appointment because they do awesome work.

Called ahead to see about getting a piercing and the lady on the phone was super sweet and the reviews I read were good so I went in. When I arrived, I was completely ignored for a long time despite plenty of people sitting around doing nothing. Was about to walk out when someone finally asked what I was there for. I started filling out paper work and the piercer came out to meet me. Before I even said a word, he looked and acted like he was annoyed and didnt want to be there. When he took me to the back, I started to ask a question and he rudely interupted me, assumed I was asking a stupid question and didnt answer the question I actually was going to ask. When he stopped interrupting me and realized I wasnt asking stupid questions or trying to tell him how to do his job, his demeanor changed and he was nicer. There was old jewelry and trash under his station but the equipment was sterile and he seemed knowledgeable so I went ahead with it. Piercing turned out great but they really need to work on customer service and cleanliness. I didnt appreciate being treated like an idiot or a burden just for walking through the door so he lost his tip.

I have gotten two done by Frankie and I love them! He is super cool and made feel comfortable! He is great and the rest of the staff is amazing as well they are super cool and badass! Frankie did the eye of Horus on my forearm and a light saber on my finger, the finger hurt like hell but he talked to me and it helped me relax. Update 2020 my family and i had gotten a lot of our work done by ed since i went all my tattoo pictures are at least 1-4 years old so some are a little worn now but i still love them all! I go at least once a year to see ed now, hes done my two headed snake, my nordic symbol, octopus and pink carnations!

To anyone looking to get pierced here. Every one of my visits the piercers have 1. Used wrong jewelry 2. Gave terrible piercing advice and 3. Made my experience feel unwelcomed. 1/10would not recommend.

Welcoming and friendly environment. Well educated and able to answer all questions you may have regarding piercings or tattoos.

I had a really good experience here when I got my nose pierced. Pat pierced my nose and he made me feel comfortable. I could tell he’s very knowledgeable and cares about his clients. He gave me very good directions for aftercare and said I could call or come by if I had any other questions etc. There wasn’t much pain for me while getting pierced. I also LOVED where he placed it on my nose! It’s soooo cute! I’ve had a nose piercing that wasn’t placed well and it bugged me so bad. Thank you Pat :)

I’ve been going to Naked Al’s since 2002 and I’ve never had a bad experience. I’m amazed that everyone is still on their A-game even with the new faces. My son just got a tattoo from Richie and he was very satisfied. Thank you to all the staff at Naked Als that stays doing a good job and making it a cool experience.

My daughters went for piercings (nose, lip, helix) the piercer was great, very patient and kind. He explained everything thoroughly and went at their pace. I went for a tattoo. Ed was awesome. He was attentive, took all my ideas seriously, and worked with me to make the design amazing, better than I imagined. Will not be going anywhere else for both piercings and tattoos ever again.

I got my piercings done by Tiffany. I was her last client of the night and she was super nice and professional. I was pretty nervous to get my piercings done but she was very reassuring and I felt comfortable with her, plus she’s really funny. Will definitely be coming back to her again ! 😁

I have been calling tattoo an piercing place trying to get my helix done. Ended up finding this place called asked ahead of time to make sure they had piercer in sure enough they did. I went on in an everything was great I was told what he was doing the proceeder an he answered my question on what type of metal that is used an walked out happy an satisfied. Very affordable place my piercing was only 40 dollars not including tip. I will be going back for my conch in a month or so

Bret Trout is my go-to artist for all of my work. He is very professional and also welcoming. Love the vibe and environment compared to other shops in town. They really spend the time to see what you want and make it happen. I will always go back to Naked Als for my tattoos, and highly recommend their artists!

I walked in and I felt such a great atmosphere even for my first ever tattoo and piercing I got letting and size 14 gauges n it only took 45-55 mins they were great n so very understanding to what I wanted

My experience at naked als has been great! I’ve been there many times and it’s a shop that makes me feel welcomed. I typically have Kourtney do my tattoos and she goes an absolutely great job with communication and keeping you updated; as well as keeping conversation while tattooing just to make you have a warm welcome.

I got a cover up tattoo done today. My tattoo artist was Thomas (if i remember his name correctly) He was extremely professional and down to earth. His lovely wife even sat with me the majority of the time talking to me,we laughed and joked back and forth. she was SO SWEET. She even played with,held and carried around my 2 year old. She gave my 6 year old quarters for the candy machines. She spoiled my kids with M&Ms which they loved! They were the chillest couple. I love the end result of my cover up which was honestly pretty tricky to do in the 1st place. Extremely skilled!! Highly recommend. Ill definitely be returning for my next tatts in mind☺

I definitely recommend going to this shop, me & my boyfriend got our septum’s at this spot. I’m not very good with needles, not so much the pain just the thought of it makes me light headed idk. But Pat was so dope he made me feel comfortable & was super professional with the whole process. It won’t be my last time coming here. Don’t sleep on em over here, great vibes

I took my daughter to Naked Als yesterday for her birthday present snakebites... They were very painful and look terrible... They are not even and I feel like I wasted 100 dollars... Naked Als is a Bakersfield staple and I have a hard time believing the owner is satisfied with this person who does the peircings... Go to Mad dog and see Jose... Sooo disappointed...

Got two piercings here and the piercer is quick experienced and nice! Ive gotten piercings at other neighboring shops but i know if I ever need anything else done Ill come straight here and I recommend everyone give this shop a visit.

Went here for a couple of my tattoos, so has my cousin, and aunts all tattoos done by Ed. We recommend going to Ed, the shop is clean, and the vibes are through the roof! Would also recommend for piercings, the piercer is cool and my piercing along with my sister has healed nicely, no complications 10/10 love this shop.

The best tattoo experience ive eva had. The man was so kind and even took us on his day off .. treated us amazing.. And gave us a price fitting our budget. And his work was outstanding.. My sister and I came in as walk ins without knowing they only took clients in by appointments. But, after finishing up with a client, they managed to squeeze my sister in, and she was able to get her lobes pierced. ❤️

I got my helix piercing done by Patt today. He was extremely professional and told me all that I needed to know about the aftercare for my piercing. I will definitely recommend this place to friends and family.

I would definitely recommend going to Naked Als for any and all kinds of tattoos. ( Specifically Kourtney ) she always makes me feel comfortable and is amazing at transferring my thoughts and wishes into my tattoos. even if they are very random she can do it all. she’s patient and very understanding! definitely the best, I started with one and have over 20 now mostly all done by Kourtney !!

With a very friendly and talented staff Naked Als has everything you want in a tattoo parlor. Also having good seating for waits and music to enjoy they can also supply customers with water while waiting and looking at their fish.

Tattoo artist was great did more than I asked or expected the atmosphere was great artist kept asking if I was ok while doing it. Pricing was very reasonable and they took me right in. Will definitely be going back for more.

I went in to Naked Als with a few friends to get my first tattoo. The man who did my tattoo first made my friends and I wait for 15 minutes while he smoked a cigarette with his friends outside. When he finally came in to do our tattoos he completely ruined my friends, she had to go get it touched up a few times just to make it right. When it was finally my turn he was so rude! He was very insensitive and rude while working on my tattoo and when his girlfriend came in to the parlor he began making out with her right there at my table. Completely unprofessional. Worst of all, he took out his own tip from my total instead of allowing me the option. I will NEVER go back and I feel sorry for anyone who does.
