Third Energy Tattoo & Piercing

So I went in early this month to see how much a tattoo would cost. I walked in and met Ryan who gave me a good deal and set me an appointment. He was finishing a client and was very professional when I came in. We discussed my tattoo and getting the details right. A few hours later I was beyond impressed. It looks amazing. He was really nice and we had a good chat so I recommend Ryan. I would go back again for my next!

I was pierced by Shawn today and I got my belly button done!!! The entire experience was an 11/10. He was so personable and made me feel comfortable and everything was so clean and sterile. The piercing was fast and painless and I am so happy with the result!!! Loved it!!

I had a great experience with getting a piercing here. I just wanted a lil extra to balance my piercings out so I was looking for a person who would do a conch or flat piercing.Shawn was great! Shawn did daith piercings in both of my ears at separate times. He was very knowledgeable, professional and clean! Hes been willing to address any questions that Ive had. One piercing fell out a couple months later (through no fault of his) and was was kind enough to get another hoop in and help me decide what was best for my ears. I will not go to anyone else.

About 4 months ago I got a navel piercing done by Shawn it was very professional and a very sterile clean environment he was very nice and made me feel comfortable. Ive had a couple bad experiences in the past with different piercing places and this one was great Ive had no issues with my piercing since the start! He went over all of the information and made sure I understood his cleaning process. I highly recommend him and will be going to him with any future piercings. This is the only photo I have of the piercing right now its not the best quality but its with the basic jewelry I chose for the piercing.

I went in here yesterday wanting to get an industrial piercing on my ear done. I walked in and not only was Third Energy very clean but the vibe was amazing and everyone seemed very friendly/funny. I’ve never felt so welcomed at a tattoo/piercing shop! I had been communicating with Shawn a couple days prior about coming in and pricing and he was quick to get back to me every single time. He was so nice when I met him in person and he has a personality that makes you feel comfortable getting things like this done. He will have you laughing, smiling to get through that pain lol. Shawn is very thorough, precise and organized! When doing my piercing, he was the only artist I’ve ever been to that’s actually cared about telling me different positions of the piercing so it will be more flattering for my ear for the same piercing I want. Others at different shops I’ve been to I tell them what I want, they ask if I like it when marking and they just pierce it. I will definitely always come back to Shawn for any piercing I get done and will always recommend him to everyone! He is an incredible artist and you won’t regret going to Third Energy!

Shawn has done all of my piercings. I am a huge baby about needles but he has a way for being super calm and confident in a way that it’s calming to the client. He is super clean and does not mess around about the sterility of his stuff. He autoclaves all of his tools and cleans everything in front of you and waits to prep until you are in the chair so you know everything is still sterile. I broke my nose when I was a kid and had some major self confidence issues with my nose, I would not take photos at certain angles because of it. Shawn pierced my nose and really helped make me confident about taking photos with my nose still in the photo! He is very prompt and courteous about answering any questions I had and he even helped me change out my piercing when I was scared of doing it myself. Shawn is a great guy and I would not trust any one else to stab me with needles.

Shawn pierced my 11 year old daughters ears. She had them pierced about 4 years or so ago at the mall. They became infected so she was scared this would happen again. Shawn was professional and very knowledgeable. He gave her a sense of comfort, especially since she isn’t very keen on needles and with her prior ear piercing experience. He talked her through the process which was something he didn’t have to do but he did because he saw she was nervous. The shop and environment is very clean and all piercing tools used were brand new. I recommend to everyone that if you’re going to get your ears pierced do it with a needle, not a gun. And now I recommend this man to anyone who wants a piercing. My daughter is already ready for her second hole... thanks Shawn again.

Got my daith piercing from Shawn. He was professional and very knowledgeable. He was funny and eased my fears and the piercing was so fast! It immediately began to ease my two day migraine. My 11 year old daughter and I came in to get our ear lobes pierced and I was so impressed with the shop! The staff was very welcoming while we waited for Shawn to finish with the client before us. When it was our turn, Shawn walked us back to his station, checked our IDs and had me fill out the appropriate forms. When we were finished with that, he helped us pick out our jewelry, explaining all the choices we had with no pressure to upsell us on more expensive pieces. Then it was time to get down to business - every step of the way Shawn meticulously cleaned, then unwrapped the piercing tools and the jewelry we selected. He carefully marked our ears, I was very happily surprised to note that he used calipers to make sure his markings were centered. He explained every step to me and my very nervous daughter and was extremely professional. His aftercare instructions were very clear, printed, and he even went the extra step to explain HOW his method of cleaning would work.I would not hesitate for a moment to recommend Shawn or return for future piercings. As a mom, it was a great experience to take my daughter to a clean, professional shop and know that she was in capable hands and in an extremely sanitary environment.

Went here for a piercing. Shawn has done a piercing for me before and he was wonderful, that was when he was over on Oak street. But unfortunately my experience this time around was less than satisfactory. The place did not smell clean. It reeked of pot. I had taken my daughter to go with me so when she wants to get her ears pierced she wont be scared but they dont allow children under 14. I guess Shawn was busy so a tattoo artist who was with a client yelled from across the room to ask what I needed. There is a reception desk but no receptionist. There was another woman waiting when I got there and there was a couple who came in after me who ended up waiting as well. I left because no one was there to help me or even just take a message if the person is busy.

I had done my vertical labret at another shop and it was crooked. I went to Shawn here and he was so friendly and kind. He was very Patient, kind, very professional/knowledgeable. I really recommend you go here for piercings.

Shawn is the only one I trust to do any piercings on anyone. He recently pierced my oldest son’s ears and was very professional, hygienic and helpful. I really appreciate that Shawn will not pierce without ID and student ID and birth certificate of my son tying us all together. Shawn pierced my nose a few years ago and I loved it. This past Saturday I went to get both of my daiths pierced. Prior to going across town I had messaged Shawn to confirm hours and availability. Shawn is reliable and respects everyone’s time so if he says he’s going to be down there. He is. I was nervous but Shawn doesn’t waste time letting the hype get to a person and makes sure you know how to take care of your piercings before you leave. Saturday I went in with a headache that I’ve learned to live with having them more often than not. Between anxiety and fibromyalgia, I tend to get a lot of tension in my head, jaw, neck and shoulders. II couldn’t believe it, after one side was done I had immediate relief. So much so that I felt lighter. Like weights were lifted from my shoulders. It’s Tuesday and I still feel amazing. It is so worth it and I highly recommend Shawn. Again. I wouldn’t trust anyone else with a piercing especially a piercing I was hoping to get relief from. I’m still amazed at the results. And they look awesome. Thank you Shawn!!!

This is a very nice and very clean shop. The peircing artist Shawn is also great. However, I had an unpleasant experience with one of the tattoo artists here, which made it disappointing altogether. Now I have an unfinished peice that I paid for in full. I can understand someone cancelling appointments for emergencies or just not replying due to various important reasons. But scheduling appointments and not showing up is bad business. And I was cancelled at least 4 times and the 5th time was a full no show. dont care how good someone is at what they do. If they cant value you and your time as a paying customer then they dont need your business. Chris came highly recommended but being as that may be, having my time played around with wasnt worth it . I normally dont leave bad reviews, but I hope this person gets their act together .

I went into the shop looking to get a daith piercing with Shawn. From the moment I walked in I was greeted and treated like family. I’ve been to Third Energy multiple times for different services. Aaron was great to work with, and an amazing artist.

Aaron is extremely skilled in both cover ups and original tattoo work. Legit artist with mad skills.

I made the appointment 2 months in advance and the guy didnt even show up. I waited around for bo for our 9 oclock appointment and the shop wasnt even open. Artists started tricklin in around 9:15am and still didnt even open shop. I called the shop just now (11:00), to see what happen and he just decided to take the day off. No call in advance or anything.

Chris DeShield did my tattoo and the scheduling was very flexible and he was awesome. Couldnt be more happy with my tattoo great overall experience for myself!
