Could not have had a better experience. And thank you Aaron! Three of us went to get matching tattoos. Two of us have a lot of ink and a lot of experience. And then theres me. This was my first one. I simply could not have had a better experience. I am extremely grateful for the care that was taken for all of us, but especially for me. I highly recommend this place. And I highly recommend Aaron Borden. Oh! And the people that I went with have full body ink and are just as pleased as I am. So from the novice to the most experienced, this is the place.

Hands down one of the best tattoo shops Ive been too and definitely my favorite artist! Came to town for a weekend trip but I would absolutely make the 6 hour drive just to work with Nutasha again!

Went here for my first tattoo and it did not disappoint!! I was super anxious but the atmosphere was so fun/amazing it calmed me down right away. Sam is an incredible artist, and I would highly recommend her for any tattoo work! My wife and I were married last weekend and hoping to get semi-matching pieces. After emailing several local artists, Sam replied with an opening and immediately started a collaborative design process via email. Once we arrived, she also created a comfortable, inclusive atmosphere (it was my wife’s first time) that was clean and professional. She’s also awesome, and it was fun getting to know her while she worked.This was my favorite, most emotionally significant tattoo experience yet, and it was made all the better by the folks at Black Opal. 5/5 for sure, and bonus points for being an inclusive, equity-minded, and women-run business!

I went in for my first tattoo today, and the lady there was really nice, made great conversations, and talked to me about the whole tattoo process which was helpful. The studio has a great aesthetic, and it had a consumer friendly vibe. I will definitely come back!

I love my tattoo!! Flora did an amazing job, and really worked with me to get the colors in the right shades. She was amazing to work with very professional and clean. Everyone who was at the shop was super sweet and we all talked about our dogs throughout the appointment, and who wouldnt want to talk about their furry bffs.

Kailah is the best of the best and I would wait years to only get tattooed by her. I got my first couple do tattooed by her last year and my husband has been getting a full piece by her this year. I was stoked when I heard Kailah was opening her own tattoo studio and even more stoked when I found out my other favorite tattoo artist Deke Harms was moving with her. The new shop is super clean and very well decorated and the vibe is real good too!I go to Kailah for most of my more delicate floral line work and she killed it at one of my cover ups!I go to Deke for his super clean, bold, black and grey pieces and i dig his style!Both artists are really great!

This studio is very amazing! Kailah has tattooed me a few times and she always does a great job, she is totally worth the wait. I also recently got some cute freckles from Nutasha and they are giving me new life and confidence when not wearing makeup. Kailah was friendly and professional since day one. I showed up for the consultation with an outline of flowers, some unrecognizable, and she said no problem. She is pretty far booked out because she’s amazing, but I mentioned that I’d like to get in sooner, so she called me with an earlier spot and has been so flexible and attentive to my needs. She is the first artist to use an anesthetic spray, which was a savior, because my tattoo goes from my hip to my shoulder. She did an almost 8 hour tattoo and made me feel comfortable the hole time. Kailah took my input into account and created a timeless and amazing tattoo. Im beyond happy and will go back for another.

I reached out to Aaron to design a mountain biking tattoo for my Husband’s birthday. His attention to detail and design was perfect, and my husband loves it! Since then we’ve seen Aaron for other tattoos and we are both very pleased with his work. Would recommend to anyone in central Oregon looking for a great tattoo:)

Its a great space! Everyone there is super nice. They make you feel relaxed and comfortable being in there. The open concept is really cool. Lots of amazing art. The artists themselves are top notch. Super stoked for my next sesh!!P.S. I bought one of their flannels its one of my favorite shirts.

My new tattoo is not only my new favorite but also the largest One to date all thanks to Deke at Black opal. I don’t like sitting for long periods of time and I was a little nervous about sitting for 5 ish hours BUT the time flew by! My tattoo turned out beyond gorgeous and healed perfectly! I had both my brows and eyeliner tattooed by Nutasha. I am completely blown away at how incredible they look. Theyve been healed for months and they look so fresh and clean. I get compliments on my brows all the time. I also have two incredible tattoos from her. One is a floral piece, the other a mountain/ufo scene, and I love them so much! The best tattoo experience I have had. I was so nervous going into my appointment with Nutasha for my eyeliner tattoo. But she answered all of my questions and made the process extremely enjoyable. Every time I get a compliment on my eyeliner I commend Nutasha. The one question I always get is: Did it hurt? My answer: No! Best tattoo decision. I was tattooed by Samantha and I never had a great experience like I did with her. She definitely went over and beyond for me this Saturday. I love my cover up she created for me. She also was friendly, professional, funny, and really respectful which I havent got that from a lot of people who have tattooed me over the years. She is talented and passionate in her work. Best Tattoo in Bend Oregon! Deke Harms was spot-on with what I wanted him to do, and the guy draws the cleanest lines Ive ever seen. He also did some great touch-up to an old one I had that needed it. Love their new place on Division.

I went in for Friday the 13th flash - Deke is great. Very professional cool dude that’s easy to feel comfortable around. I also love what they’ve done with the shop. The waiting area is so comfortable with lots of cool things to look at and flip through and it’s generally just a comfortable place to be. I will absolutely be coming back.

As I step foot into the shop I was not only excited to see my artist Aaron but, I was really impressed by the vibe surrounding the shop. It felt light, welcoming, uplifting and filled with positive artistry. It was a well welcomed refreshing feel. All of the artists in this place ooze with talent and motivation to grow and be the absolute best that they could be and that in itself is whats going to be keeping me happy with my decision to support this local tattoo shop. I went in for a session with Jordin Klapp(@greensoap). He is not one of their resident artists there but was guest spotting. I had never been in the shop before this but I was pleasantly suprised by the relaxed, clean, and really inspired environment. Highly recommend checking out this shop if you are looking for quality local artists, and or are interested in seeing who they get to guest spot. Jordin was a boss and he is any indication of of the kind of talent they seek I would recommend adding them on Instagram. (They also have magic the gathering art. Pretty legit. )
