Zebra is the BEST place for all your piercing needs. They are friendly, informative, safe, clean and efficient. I have been a loyal customer since 1998 and they have always done an excellent job. I have gotten pierced there at least 10 times and have always come back for jewelry and other piercing needs over the years. I recommend them 100%!

Amazing Experience!I got my jewelry changed and my conch done here. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and were able to answer all questions about aftercare and helping to decide on jewelry. I got pierced by David who did an amazing job, he walked me through every step of the process and it was quick and painless. He is very talented at what he does, I’ve gotten other piercings at different places before but this one by far was the most pleasant experience. I highly recommend this place and David for an easy and enjoyable experience.

Service here is great! The staff are kind and enthusiastic about their job, not to mention very knowledgable. Ive only had good experiences here-- piercers were really nice and patient, answered questions super well and gave good aftercare instructions. The shop also seems very clean and follows proper hygiene for piercings.The only reason I didnt give 5 stars is the pricing. Pricing for services (piercing/downsizing etc) is pretty standard, but the jewelry is pretty overpriced. You can buy perfectly safe surgical steel body jewelry online for much cheaper if you know what to buy. They let you bring jewelry as long as its approved by your piercer, so Id definitely recommend doing this.

I’m newer to the Bay Area, and I had lost my favorite piercing awhile back because I had to remove it for an MRI. Not only was Gabe so well versed in the world of jewelry, but he was also spot on with the vision I had in mind for my new piece. They were extremely attentive, gentle, and made this space feel safe and welcoming. I HIGHLY recommend going here and seeing Gabe for all of your piercing inquiries!

I would give 10 if I could!!! Got my septum pierced on Monday 6/17. The shop is clean and well organised, the staff upfront are very helpful and kind. Tim was knowledgable, patient. Really awesome dude. He walked me through the whole procedure and I would like to extend my gratitude for his professionalism and calm demeanour. If I’m ever back in the Bay Area I will be sure to swing by again!

I had such an excellent experience here! I had to get some piercings taken out for an MRI and it was super affordable and when I came back they didn’t charge me anything. I was amazed and so happy. The staff here are super nice, warm, welcoming, all the good things. Can’t say enough positive things about this place. From the counter staff to the piercer to the manager, everyone was absolutely stellar. David was super gentle and gave step-by-step narration for everything he was doing. Even though I didn’t get a new piercing this time, I would definitely go back to Zebra for any new piercings I plan on getting. Thank you so much!!!

Went to get my daughters cartilage piercing for her birthday. The staff was super helpful, from the person at the front door (think restaurant host) to the person at the counter who helped us pick out earrings to the cashier and all the way to the person who actually did the piercing. The system was set up really well to keep things moving while not feeling rushed at all. This was especially important because all their piercings are walk-ins only.The person who did the piercing sanitized the tray, put down plastic, and then pulled out individually wrapped/sealed equipment. She marked the spot and had my daughter take a look and was very willing to reposition the marking based on where my daughter wanted it.Really terrific experience- will be back if we decide to get any future piercings.Keep in mind that this is a professional piercing place and the prices reflect that. The earrings they sell are high quality and meant to minimize infections, etc. They do have an option to bring your own earrings though I dont know what the requirements for that are. Weve had mixed experiences at other piercing places that are cheaper but are hit/miss in the abilities of the person doing the piercing.Another note - if you are bringing in a minor for piercing you do need to bring a birth certificate and an ID for the adult showing that you are the parent/legal guardian. UPDATE: I brought my high schooler and her school picture ID (has to have a picture) + my drivers license was enough.

I love this place! This is the first location of my first piercing. I got them done 3 weeks ago and the healing process has been wonderful. No swelling or bleeding. David did my piercings over there and I appreciated that he took his time to make sure they were symmetrical. The experience was quick and pain-free! Highly suggest going here!!

They will mangle your body, do not get piercings here!!Upon healing i now see both nipples were done incorrectly. So I have now removed both piercings. They charged us $320 for this awful experience. I purchased the opal jewleryOne is going thru my actual nipple tip, not down by the side as it should be.Went in excited and impulsively repierced my nips and septum. One nipple is incredibly crooked and my ocd has me in literal shrieking tantrums of feeling naive and disgusted with my body. This was supposed to be empowering and something I loved. Yeh the blonde guy. You didnt deserve a 20 tip. I hate people who call themselves artist and cant visualize a straight line. Its not that hard to put a needle thru skin at a line that is parallel to the ground and aligned with the other side!!!! Happy to spend 540 on a whim but extremely dissatisfied at what just happened to my body. Zebra made your mark and destroyed my canvas. Obviously I wont be going back for my bridge, daith, or other services I really wanted to check out there.

Had my own folks that came here years ago when they were still doing tattoos at the same berkeley location and had been holding off getting my own nose pierced and my ears repierced for quite some time but the customer service was dope as hell the people that work there were also just as awesome. And the piercings didnt hurt at all. Pricing is a bit expensive, but definitely a lot more reasonable than other shops

I brought my youngest daughter here to get her ears pierced. I love everyones energy here. The piercing itself went smoothly and the piercer made her feel so comfortable and was gentle and communicated clearly throughout her whole experience. I was very appreciative of that. I have another daughter who came here and has gotten four piercings. For my 50th birthday, my two daughters treated me to get my nose pierced (something Ive wanted to do since I was about 14). I wouldnt go anywhere else for not only great energy but attentiveness. Very welcoming environment! You wont be disappointed in coming here.b

Amazing staff- the nicest people! I went in with 3 friends, we were all getting tattoos (one was getting pierced) one had an appointment but me and my other friend were able to just walk right in. They did a fantastic job on everyone! Our tattoos turned out looking perfect. This was my first tattoo and it was amazing to have kind, welcoming, wholesome people to help with the experience. I do hope to come back here someday and I would recommend it to anyone!

Have been coming here for a tattoo for the third consecutive year. Super friendly and super helpful staff. Theyll always try and accommodate your walk-ins (I didnt have an appointment the first two times), but if your design is slightly more complex, theyll insist on an appointment at a later date to ensure that it isnt inked. As for the actual tattooing, theyre immensely talented artists and extremely caring during the process. Zebra is 💯, you cant really go wrong with them!

I got a tongue piercing that was incorrectly done here and the insane swelling would not go down after a period of over six weeks despite diligent aftercare. I had to keep the swell bar in the entire time. No infection, no discoloration, no fluid leaking, just incredibly swollen for how far along I should have been in the healing process. This is not my first oral piercing and I have never had a reaction like this. One of the guys working there looked at it for no more than two minutes, shrugged it off, and left. A few employees seemed irritated while I explained my situation. If you have any concerns it is better to contact the owner Sean, as he is cordial and quick to respond. This place is great for facial and ear piercings, but it seems the quality of the oral piercings greatly depends on the piercer.

This place is fantastic. Reasonably priced piercings and jewelry, great staff, and a nice relaxed vibe. I went in without an appointment to get double eyebrow piercings. Amar was pleasant, listened to me about what I wanted, and gave me one of my best piercing experiences to date. 10/10

I’ve had good experiences here getting both my ears & eyebrow pierced. It’s a more affordable shop then other places and the artists are super kind.However I did try to get my septum pierced here & was told that I didn’t have space for it at all. Since then I got multiple second options that all said I was fine, I got my septum done at another shop and had no issues.I feel the body piercer was not comfortable with their own ability to give me a septum. Just make sure to get a second opinion if something similar happens to you here bc you never know and every shop is different.Still a great place to go!!

I go to both zebras, this one in Berkeley and the other in walnut creek. Zebra has always exceeded my expectations in friendliness and customer service whenever i inquire about getting a piercing. I absolutely love the options they have for jewelry and after getting pierced Im always left satisfied and happy. Amar did my eyebrow piercings earlier this week. They were so friendly and accommodating 10/10 would go again!

One of my piercings partially closed, long story, but I think it got irritated. The intake person was super nice and helped figure out what I needed. The piercer was excellent, all the tools looked super clean and she sterilized everything she used in front of me.

The people who work there are beautiful people they gave me a great experience getting my septum pierced for the third time they even gave me free supplies to take care of my piercing the wait wasn’t bad at all either nice vibes in here I would definitely recommend anyone to go here

Got my first earlobe piercings here today! The staff were so friendly and the process went very smooth. It wasnt that crowded so the wait time was only about 10 minutes or so. Im usually very scared of needles so I was worried that it would hurt and avoided getting my ears pierced until now, but it was a lot less painful than I expected! It feels almost like getting your blood drawn but in your ears and is very, very quick. If youre someone whos scared to get their ears pierced because of the pain, there is absolutely nothing for you to worry about if you get them pierced here!

I had hand surgery, and needed help putting all of my jewelry back in. *Amar* was absolutely delightful to work with! They were extremely patient & helped me get ALL of my piercings back in, and then some.The revamped store is fantastic. Lots of high quality jewelry to choose from & no more belts or spray paint & pepper spray! Its much nicer & the staff is great.I havent received a fresh piercing from them yet, but Im going to go back & will post another review when I do.❤️‍🔥

My daughter got a bridge piercing which has been healing very well and i got two extra ear piercings. Very professional staff and if/ when i get courageous enough to get an eyebrow piercing i will definitely do it at Zebras

Got my 6 years old daughter’s ears pierced here. It is a clean place and the people who work here are experts with kids. Highly recommend this place.

We went in just to get a new piercing for my daughter (upper ear) and there was a pretty long line. But they moved through people quickly and we got to speak with someone who walked us through the process (cleaning, healing time, etc) and helped us pick out the earring. We then paid, got a number, were told the wait time and went and walked around Telegraph. When we got back the piercing process was fast and we were out of there within 10 minutes. All in all a great experience.

I believe Mel helped me at check in. She was very helpful and supportive around the peircing I wanted. She helped me understand the after care process and was all around a pleasant person to interact with. Cicada was my artist. She made me feel very comfortable before and during the procedure with the way she invited me into the booth and the way she encouraged me to breathe during the actual peircing. I would definitely recommend anyone in the area to check them out.

Had a very pleasant experience !! They def changed it around inside since my last visit, had a nice vibe. I hate that a forgot to ask the name of my piercer but im pretty sure it was David ! My brow piercing went well and was very quick ! Also, the person who helped me behind the counter, (didnt get their name but i remember they had double nose rings and red docs on the day i went) was super pleasant and helpful ! Ive been going to Zebra for years at least 23. Went in today and my grandson got two piercings and I was purchasing jewelry. I didnt like the the vibe of the girl helping me. I requested another sales person. She called another sales person and whispered to the person she called to help me. Instead of helping someone else she continued to talk and interfere with my sales. How do you purchase jewelry when you cant see it? One person gives you a price per earring and the other gives you a per earring price. This was the worst service, vibe I have ever experienced any where This one really pushed me over, I was going to purchase more earrings and they were going to charge me to help put them in. $10 each! Im done with Zebra!

Got my first nose piercing (Septum) here today! My brother-in-law got his nose pierced as well! Our piercer, David, did a great job! He was clean, quick, professional, and personable. I was really nervous and he made it a great experience! Highly recommend getting a piercing here!

My first piercing outside of my ears almost 30 years ago & it was seamless! from me walking in doing paperwork , picking my jewelry and getting pierced . i was in and out in about 30 mins! everyone was so courteous! Major shoutout to Timothy! he was fast and very comforting 10/10

Zebra has been our go-to piercing spot for more than 20 years, and weve always had a good experience.This is why I think our last experience was a fluke.Went in for a couple of ear piercings and a navel piercing. The jewelry girl looked at my friends stomach and picked out the size.After piercing, it seemed like the jewelry may have been too short; you couldnt see the jewelry when she stood up. But I didnt want to be a karen, and also trusted Zebra to know what theyre doing.After a few weeks of it being uncomfortably swollen and tight (we planned to return for a longer barbell, but we live 2 hours away so we couldnt come in immediately), she woke up and the jewelry had disappeared INSIDE her piercing. She had to push the jewelry out (ball still attached) and basically rip it through.Im really bummed because let me tell you, getting a piercing at Zebra is not cheap. We dropped $350 in all.If it had just been the navel, mistakes happen, but the quality of my ear piercings were not great either. Ill have to end up re-doing a couple.Moral of this story: Zebra has long been the place to go. Even with this experience, I would probably go to them again for my piercing needs.Just make sure you love everything about the work before you leave. Dont second-guess yourself like I did; ask questions and voice concerns.

The wait was a little long but all in all not too bad. Prices were average. The guy who pierced me was a premed student at Berkeley!! Trusted him completely and he did a great job.

I am so happy we stumbled upon Zebra!!! We had such a phenomenal and smooth experience. Vince and Ky were so sweet, accommodating and patient while we picked out jewelry for 45 minutes . My friends and I actually left Industrial to come here— after experiencing horrendously negative/snooty energy there. Do not hesitate to get your piercings here! Our time here was overwhelmingly positive :)

I came in to get a second nose piercing next to the one I already have. I even brought in my own piercing and they were okay with that. I explained this to one of the employees and they said it was fine and that all they needed to do was sanitize my piercing. After paying and waiting for about an hour, Im told by the employee that because of the piercing I have, they cannot actually use the piercing I brought because it would be too much of a discomfort. Next, they tell me that theres a price difference because of the placement. I wouldve been completely okay with these two things if one, I was told right in the beginning and not after an hour of waiting. And two, if the manager wouldve been nicer. She was nice enough to give me a refund, but didnt bother to make eye contact with me or an apology for the wait and for not properly training her employees. I didnt appreciate that.

This review is specifically to thank DANIELLE and acknowledge her expertise.I was here about 9 months ago and got 2 dermals in my face. My piercer was Danielle, she was excellent! She talked me through it, made sure they were perfectly placed and was very nice about the whole experience. I was more than happy with them and her service.Well I decided to change the dermals before going on a month long vacation at a local piercing shop. HUGE MISTAKE ON MY PART, the piercer was not qualified to change them, she ended up hurting me and ripping my piercing. Since I was leaving for a month I couldnt do anything about it. While on vacation the base of the dermal (foot) started coming out of my face and you could see it.When I got home I immediately came back to Zebras to fix it, I was worried it had to be removed it was so bad. I also decided to add a 3rd dermal at the top of the 2 while I was there. I super lucked out cause Danielle was working that day, thank god (my savior). She fixed the bottom dermal, without having to remove it and the middle dermal as well cause it was messed up as well. She then perfectly placed the 3rd dermal and I AM SO HAPPY!Thanks girl! Lesson learned I will never go to another piercing shop but this one. ❤️

I love zebra!! Its my go to place for every piercing Ive had. Recently I got my labret pierced and Im not going to lie, it wasnt the best experience as far as the piercing goes but being that I can take some pain I continued through it. But it really made me feel good that he was able to comp me what I paid for the troubles. I have to say that is some good customer service and I will consistently be going back. Thank you and I love my piercing!

Line was about 5 deep. Took 1.5 hours to get in. The system worked well and they texted when they were ready for us. Piercing took about 12 minutes. Parked near Peoples Park. Walk is 4 minutes. Prices were ok. Bit expensive. Gentleman at the register was so friendly. Gave us some small gifts as it was my daughters birthday. Would go back.

I got a recent piercing done and the waiting period was fast pace, and the first come first served thing is pretty cool. Theyre pretty pricey on their jewelry. Its a very welcoming place, the staff is so nice and the lady that does the piercing is so cool and patient. I recommend this place!

Amazing experience! I would definitely recommend this place. I was extremely nervous about getting my first tattoo. I called around to different places to find out what they offered, checked some reviews online and found Zebra. I called Zebra and explained that it was my first one and that I kind of knew what I wanted. He offered me an appointment for the same day. I get there, the place is very clean and lots of notices about the latest news and information about cleanliness of tattoos and piercings. Kenny was the artist who helped me. He was very knowledgeable and very helpful. He was funny and made my first experience awesome! I loved it! Thanks, Kenny!

I wondered in today after meeting with my Stylist at Maxi on Telegraph Avenue. I have been wanting to get my cartilage pierced in to different places for ages with a particular style of jewelry and spontaneously decided to do so.The staff were friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. The prices were reasonable as well (I usually get my piercing done on Haight Street since I am from SF)The real highlight of my experience was meeting Rosey. She did a fabulous job at easing me through the pain and was very easy to talk to and answer questions. I felt very comfortable with her and hope that the next sets of piercing I get done with be with her again.This is a very nice, friendly, and clean facility for body art.

I have to say that when I first walked in, I didnt know what to expect and was half expecting the stereotypical tattoo parlor that wasnt particularly clean, etc. It had all of the funky skull and crossbones art and jewelry and purses... But in very good taste and they had some very pretty jewelry too. Upon getting my ears double pierced, I saw that they were very clean, and Im very picky. I also have never had my ears pierced without a gun. This experience was soooo much better! The artist discusses placement, marks the location, gets your approval and then manually pierces your ear. Because they dont use a gun, they can manage the angle of the piercing exactly and there is no loud clack of the piercing... its quiet and painless. I never had one bit of pain in healing either. They were very thorough with their instructions. My daughter also got her ear cartilage pierced and she agreed that it was amazingly painless after all of the stories she had heard from people who went elsewhere. I was pleased with the experience and highly recommend them for your piercing.

I called first to see if walk ins were available, they were. Given Ive been to Zebras plenty of times before I know their process for piercings, it hasnt changed just a space factor applied for the pandemic. I went in, told the personnel what I wanted, picked my jewelry out, paid and waited for my number to be called. I waited for about 15min, which wasnt bad it wasnt very many people inside, I was just worried about my meter running out LOL I only paid for 45min...my number is dinged and Im greeted by Manny my piercer ☺ hes really cool and easy on the eyes too 😏 he asked which piercing I wanted first (I got 2 done) when I chose my order he did recommend the opposite because I had the sensitivity levels in my head backwards apparently, and he was right LOL the piercings themselves were so quick!! I didnt bleed at all, I checked them out in the mirrors and I was happy!! I thanked and tipped Manny my piercer and went on about my way AND I still had time left on my parking meter 🤗I can always count on Zebras when I want a random piercing or tattoo

Very long lines, waited outside in the cold. I told them I was handicapped and wanted to wait inside. They brought me a chair. I had come from Fairfield for the 2nd time because my 3 week nose piercing came out and was gone. I had to get it replaced and was charged $20.

Been going here for over 10 years, ALWAYS great staff. Clean, courteous and knowledgeable. Very honest when it comes to what will work best for the customer even if it means you not buying a specific item or tatt you want. Theyd rather lose the big purchase/sale than let you buy something that wont fit you or last long. Also each time Ive been there over the years with different staff theyve ALL been patient! If you have to wait, theyre worth it.

Brought my daughter to get her ears pierced for her 13th birthday . Everyone that worked there was nice and friendly. Stephen did a great job with the piercing. He explained everything he was doing and put her nervous mind at ease . It was a great great experience all around !

I got my septum pierced back in August. When I was purchasing my jewelry there I asked if I could possibly have a bad reaction to the jewelry because I know that I have a pretty severe nickel allergy when I put in earrings that aren’t hypoallergenic. But I was told that it probably wouldn’t be an issue. My piercing experience was great, she was very nice & answered all my questions as well as opened my ring a bit so I’d be able to flip it up & it wasnt nearly as painful as I was expecting. I was told the healing process for septums is one of the easiest so I was looking forward to a swift healing time given that I follow the routine. So I followed the routine for over a month, my septum didn’t seem to be healing & was still pretty painful. So I call to ask about why this could be & if my nickel allergy was the culprit. The employee assured me that I probably just heal slower than the average person & that all their jewelry is nickel-free. So I went on for 2 more months with my original jewelry. I got sick of how long it was taking & how painful it was so I went back into the store to ask if they had any other jewelry like titanium which doesn’t contain nickel. They literally had like 6 options, one being the original one I got in black ($30) or I could shell out $200+ for a gold hypoallergenic ring. Easy to say I didn’t pay that much. So I went online & bought a $20 titanium ring & voila my piercing is healing faster in the past week than it has in the past 3 months. Again it was a good piercing experience but I wish the employees understood what’s in the jewelry& they had more options.

As always I am fully satisfied with my experience from beginning to end at Zebra. This was my first time in since the pandemic and I felt like the staff was taking all precautions to make it as safe as possible. I will always come here for my jewelry and piercing needs.

This is the only place I go to for piercings. Call before you go, take your ID, and know what you want. Ive never had any problems with the piercings they do. They know what theyre doing, are super clean and safe, and will tell you how to care for your new piercings. They also have beautiful choices of jewelry.

My experience here at zebras was awesome I have a few piercings from them on this trip I went and got my dimples pierced on my face so both sides for each side was $40 a piece and it was excellent and it didnt hurt too bad Im happy with the results. And I will be back for future piercings or piercing changes so yes Im happy.

My friend and I went to get piercings, and our experience was awesome! I got a rook piercing, and it was super clean and safe and quick. The piercer was extremely informative of the safety precautions I would need to take with this piercing. My friend got her belly button pierced, and, like some girls do, she passed out afterwards. The piercer not only lifted her up and put her on the table, but she feed and gave her drinks when she came to! This is the only place I will return to get pierced in Berkeley! Awesome staff, super clean, super safe.

Came here to get my upper ear pierced. The place is nice, inviting and pro, the staff was very friendly and helped me choose exactly what fit me best. The prices are good; the piercing was quick. Overall great experience!

I stopped in today to see D. I knew my snug wasn’t quite healing as it should and wanted to put in a longer bar.The manager, Gabe was extremely accommodating and waved the new jewelry charge.When I got back to swap the bar, D gave both of my ears a good look and seemed apprehensive. She said I should take it out and so we did. We chatted about how I don’t really have the anatomy for it so trying again wouldn’t be advisable. We decided that I could def do my antitragus instead. Whoo!Gabe agreed and D (the incredibly young lady she is) said she didn’t want to charge for any of this and to have my piercing and jewelry completely refunded. I’d be lying if I almost didn’t cry, because that was above and beyond the experience I was expecting today.And then…they went even further by saying the jewelry for my anti-Tragus would be covered when I came in to get it done. 🥲Moral of the story-if something doesn’t feel right or look quite right, go get it checked out sooner rather than later 😅 I probably narrowly missed a pretty terrible infection.

If you want a piercing for yourself, your child or anyone else, theres no safer, more professional or more experienced than Zebra. Theyve been doing this for decades. I had my ears pierced here and now my daughter is a client for good reason. Chose the safest choice during covid and later.

Clean and efficient. My 13 year old granddaughter got her ears pierced for the first time, and the young man who pierced her ears was professional, accurate and adhered to sterility. He was so kind and calming to our girl.

Everyone there was so sweet and made my piercing a great experience! there was a huge variety of jewelry and although they are super kind they are still professional. overall my experience was a 10/10

Dont get me wrong, I love Magic and have been a customer here for 15 years. Yet recently I have found the piercers to be a bit sloppier (one pierced my ear sideways so the jewelry tilts- had to take it out) and my boyfriend got the worst tattoo Ive ever seen. Good quality jewelry but the work quality has gone down.

I love ZEBRA. Been a patron for decades now and Ive never been disappointed. The staff is always knowledgeable, courteous, friendly and very helpful. The jewelry selection suits my tastes just fine and the pricing is good too!

Employees are really helpful and the service was done quickly. I wouldn’t hesitate returning for another piercing here.

I had a walk-in for a jewlery change and some adjustments. I was helped right away and all the staff were really nice. They have a wide selection of good quality jewlery at differnt prices to chose from. This shop is super LGBTQ+ friendly too which I love. It meant a lot to me to hear people use my perferred pronouns right away :)

Ive gone to Zebra to get 2 helia, 2 lower lobes and an upper ear and each time the service was amazing. All the staff are very friendly and knowledgeable and the all have some gorgeous body jewelryEdit: just stopped by to get my left and right tragus pierced. I never go here for mypiercings but I got my navel pierced here and everything was good except it was pierced crooked. Definitely never going back, now I have to wait for it to fully heal and get it pierced at a better shop.

I went in to get nose piercing jewelry before my hole closed up, after buying the jewelry I paid an extra fee so they could help me place it, it turns out they pierced my nose again & thought I wouldnt notice or didnt even tell me that that needed to be done. Im livid because thats not where my original piercing was and I notice the difference because obviously its on my face. Dont recommend this place, youre better off going to Industrial.

Went in April to get my navel pierced. After I paid and picked out the jewelry, the wait was short. The place was really clean and nice. The only problem I had was that the piercer (Rosey) put the jewelry in upside down. Caused a lot of issues afterwards because the ball would unscrew and fall out especially when working out. Had to constantly check my navel to see if my jewelry was still in. I ended up flipping it after a few weeks. Still dont understand how it happened.

Got my vertical labret re-pierced after a previous botched piercing. Piercer explained what previous piercer did wrong, and walked me through and reassured that it would be correct this time. I love it. Thank you, Cicada !!

I went here to get my belly button peirced and it was quick and painless I dont remember who the girl who did my piercing was it was like 2 years ago but she did amazing and my peircing healed up great! No infection no pain really it was great! By far the easiest piercing and painless peircing Ive ever received.

I went to Zebra on a whim a couple weeks ago. I’ve had my industrial piercing for 18 years and hadn’t gotten new jewelry in years! I imagined going in and getting a new bar quickly. It was busy and there was a bit of a wait. Even though they were slammed they gave me so much attention and personalized service! I had mentioned rose gold and the sales person and their manager showed me an amazing jewelry idea of using studs or earrings and a chain to connect. I had never seen anything like it and it took me a really long time to decide. They were not pushy at all. Amar, the piercing tech who put it all in for me was so kind and just as excited about the jewelry idea! Gabe (the manager) really went out of his way to help me. I will always reccomend this shop! Came here to get new Tragus and belly button rings and had an excellent experience- super friendly and knowledgeable staff, you can have them change out the jewelry for $5 too and the procedure/room/equipment was all extremely clean. Thank you zebra!! Will be back if I ever need anything else :)

The piercer was very fast and efficient. You have to pay per piercing and per earring witch adds up fast. Not cheap but people are very nice and welcoming. Not a sketchy place at all.

I got my lip piereced here many years ago and never had an issue with them. I accidently snagged me lip and ransomly my lip swelled up. I came in Christmas eve and they were closed but the owner was nice enough to allow me in and get my bar switched out even thought they were closed he didnt want me to wait until Monday such a nice man he even gave me a discount on my bar since I only had 15 dollars cash. The piercer guy was nice as well answered all my questions and reassured me that my lip was just bother. Next day my lip was already back to normal and I havent had no issues besides that now my bar is to bug but I will be going back to get my original bar placed back. Definitely recommend this place for piercings.

I was hoping to get my first tattoo here since Im visiting Berkeley for a month for work. I went in to ask some noob questions. The guy I spoke to was very condescending and spoke to me as if I was wasting his time while his buddy was sitting behind him laughing while we talked. Not sure if it was at me but while already feeling insecure and stupid, the laughing made it worse. I got my tattoo somewhere else and had a great experience. I didnt need handholding, just someone to help me understand what to expect. If youre getting your first tattoo, might not wanna do it here. Go where youll be respected.

Went through a style plan with Monica, got pierced by David and talked with Gabe. Everyone was amazing, knowledgeable, and skilled. So excited to go back for another round of piercings later this year. (today I got a tragus, conch and upper lobe)

I got my first ear piercings at zebra today and there was not a lot of people but I first chose the earrings and look at it and then move on to the check out line then after that sat down and wait for my ear piercings and then went into a room that the guy clean my ears then after that he marked my ears with a marker then after that he told to to take a deep breath after that he put my earrings in and did the other one then I got a candy for being a good job and then we were free to go home

I used to get all my piercings/jewelry done there for over 20yrs, but last visit wasnt good! Waited wayy too long and parking is bad over the, the real gold lip jewelry was more trouble than worth, and the eye jewelry caused my eye to swell and get infected 🤷‍♂️ but the one of the managers (Kelen) said to come in and he would make it right, (kudos Kelen👍) but I havent been back due to hospitalizations added gs illnesses, ott,, they do great artwork & n/p with all my piercings, just that last jewelry visit a yr ago.

Staff is knowledgeable and helpful, piercer, Rose, is professional and fast with a good bedside manner. I took my daughter for an upper ear piercing, and the whole experience was wonderful.

I had gotten a piercing done at a different shop and was in a lot of pain since I had suspected my previous piercer had put in bars that were too small. I was a nervous wreck and sure enough it was confirmed that the bars were indeed too small. I was given some tips on how to diminish the scar tissue and now its finally beginning to look how it should. Im no longer in pain and due to the larger bars the swelling has gone down and my piercing is beginning to heal properly. Thanks for saving my piercing ♡

Went here while I was in Berkley. I was visiting from Canada. Thought a few of the staff members were very rude as in 4/4 them that I spoke to. Got my nipple done. It has healed very well, I would recomend due to the fact of how my peircing is but not for the customer service.

Beware of Jewelry containing nickel. I was trying to get rid of an irritation bump around my nose piercing for almost a year, until I switched to jewelry nickel-free jewelry from a different supplier and got rid of the jewelry Zebra sold to me. Thats when the bump finally went away.
