Highly recommended! Started a sleeve piece with Yunus and absolutely love it! It was my first tattoo ever. He made sure I liked the design, had everything I needed, and checked on my comfort level frequently. Super professional, friendly and nice guy too! Shop is very clean, staff is attentive and friendly.

WOW WOW WOW!! this place was genuinely incredible. the entire staff was so friendly and made the whole experience so memorable. my group got 4 piercings total, and they all look absolutely perfect. the piercer talked us through the entire process and she was very patient the whole time. the studio is child friendly and gorgeous and there’s a beautiful selection of earrings to choose from. overall, i would 100% recommend and i will be coming again!!

After wanting to get an old tattoo covered up for several years, I finally got the work done. Yunus did an incredible job with the coloring and with touching up some old black lines. He was very attentive to details that I wanted throughout the whole process. Not only did his work come out really really great, he’s super friendly all around- got some food with him during one of our breaks lol.

I went in and got my nose pierced. Was really scared, but star was really nice and helped me feel more at ease. She also did an awesome job with the piercing I love the way it turned out. I would definitely go back for my next piercing.

Went today to get my tongue re-pierced for the 4th time. (Long story. They weren’t done here. 🤣) Had such a great experience! I got my nipples pierced by Star and she did such a great job!! I can’t stop looking at how cute they look. She made sure that I was comfortable by making sure the placement was precise and was so comforting when I started to get nervous about the pain. She assured me that I could do it! I would definitely recommend getting pierced by Star for any piercings! She is so kind professional and has an amazing personality. The piercing pain was not too bad probably a 6/10 and right after I was done with the first she let me take a break and drink water before going into the next. I would definitely come back and get pierced by Star!

Just came in and everyone was super nice! I wanted a fine line tattoo and it came out exactly how I wanted! The staff was super professional and the shop was very clean! Highly recommend.

I came for a walk in, got two words tattooed on my upper forearm and when it healed it was really uneven & bad line work. Their shop minimum is $150 and I tipped 20% so ended up paying $180 for a badly done tattoo. I went back yesterday to get it touched up and the artist who originally did the tattoo was not there. The person who touched it up + who seemed like the manager both acted like they did not know the artist who did my tattoo? I couldn’t remember his name but I know they created a profile for me so surely it would be in their records. They said oh yeah this was really unprofessional and done poorly, but didn’t really take accountability that it was one of their artists. I’ll post an update after the touch-up heals, I am worried but hoping it is better than the first time around. I’d recommend not going here at all but if you do, do research on the artist and make sure you see some of their work.

I got several body piercings by Star...She was absolutely wonderful! I was really nervous, but she was really gentle and professional. If youre in the area and looking for piercings ask for Star.

STAR IS THE BEST!!!!! I came in for a double nostril piercing on opposite sides (which is SO hard to get right with placement) and she took the time to absolutely nail the placement even though my nose is really asymmetrical! She is super patient and kind, did an amazing job and walked me through every step of the way like an angel

I had a stellar tattoo experience at Cleopatra!! This was only my second tattoo and I knew I wanted color but I didnt feel the need to find a specific tattoo artist, so I looked for a good shop with multiple designers and artists. Im SO happy I came here. From the start the staff was super helpful in scheduling appointments, re-scheduling when something came up (Thx Murs!) and most importantly the design and actual tattoo! Reno the artiste put a lot of work in upfront to get my design looking exactly how I pictured it in my mind and he nailed it, I love it so hard. Then Alex helped get me an appointment with a tattooist who did a ton of color work AND he let me pick out my own ink colors that they purchased for the tattoo. My boy Berkan came through one day only special guest visitor style and did superb work, the tattoo matches the stencil PERFECTLY and the colors look amazingly vibrant. I get so many compliments on how bright and visible it is!!! I couldnt be happier, thank you so much everyone at Cleopatra. You made my tattoo dream come true

I can’t speak highly enough of Cleopatra Ink on Telegraph Ave. in Berkeley! Our experience started off with Kamar, who was their graphic artist that took our designs and made them into reality. Second, was the artwork with talented Ali for both mine & my wife’s, plus a memorial sleeve tattoo that my wife had done with Vedat. We searched various tattoo shops before finding Cleopatra Ink and had 3 tattoos in memorandum of losing our pets in the Maui/Lāhaina fires from last month. We will continue to use them in the future. In fact, I already have plans for a full back piece to come! Do yourself a favor and make an appointment today :)

A few minutes to fly through it. We were asked if we wanted coffee and got to chill while the station was prepped. The vibe was very modern with nice lighting which wasn’t too florescent so it didn’t feel like a doctors office and instead was inviting to help calm ay nerves, and the place just felt CLEAN. When igot the piercings done I was led into a separate room where they had a reclining chair to sit in, and sanitation was taken very seriously. Star talked me through everything that was going to happen, and made it so that it was a stable and relaxing environment which made the piercing process go much smoother than i have seen at other places. Not to mention that the jewelry is included in the price for the piercing and it is hypoallergenic and something like could probably wear for years in the future. She gave me a clear run down of aftercare and the do’s and don’ts of taking care of piercings which was so thorough I didn’t even have any questions afterwards. AND ITS CUTE TOO like what I got was stunning and can go with literally any outfit I wanted to pair it with. Yeah nah. The guy who saw us was high and doing his own stuff, and more than that, all he did was Google something and pick the first image for what our idea was. Absolute waste of time.When we walked out he said we have the best artists working here, but whats the point of that if youre not even going to do basic work for a potential client?

Amazing detail! My artist was Diego and we spent about 11 hours working on the piece. The detail is AMAZING, the drawer who designed the piece with my ideas really was able to capture it in a beautiful way. Diego was able to tweak the colors image in a way that fits my complexion and came out amazing! I love it! 10/10

Just found this spot. Definitely impressed by their knowledge and customer service. The shop was extremely clean and sanitary, which is always my biggest concern. It was very clean, we were given thorough instructions throughout the piercing process and for aftercare, and the piercer, Star, was genuinely one of the sweetest people I’ve met in such a long time. She made the experience very comfortable, offered us something to drink, and made sure we were happy with the jewelry and placement of the piercing. I have been to four different piercing shops and this is by far my favorite one as it deserves 5 stars in every single aspect. I don’t live here and am visiting my best friend, but next time I come down, I will make sure to get my piercing here. I’m telling you if you have been wanting to get a piercing, get it here and trust all the positive reviews on here!!!

I was lucky enough to get a FT13 tattoo at Cleopatra Ink the other day, and when I say it was the best shop I’ve ever been to, it’s not even a question. For starters, the shop is gorgeous. Whoever chose the decor and aesthetic of the place did an incredible job. The staff was beyond friendly. Offering chairs, waters, and even pizza to waiting patrons!! I even watched as one of the staff graciously paid for extra time on the parking meter for a customer who was getting a tattoo. 🥹I HIGHLY recommend this shop. I plan on going back very soon to get another with them!

I went to Cleopatra Ink for a consultation. I loved that they offer free tattoo consultations and create something on the spot with the offer of tattoo same day. They exceeded my expectations. I showed the artist a picture and he came back with 3 options. I loved all of them. The colors he chose were perfect for me. The work was done exceptionally well. All staff was welcoming and created a cool vibe. The shop is nice and clean. I will definitely go back for more work.

The designer and artists were great.Only reason for 4 stars was my appointment to get the tattoo was canceled n then put back on, But then they were too busy to take me in the day of my appointment. I ended up rescheduling. But otherwise, everyone is really nice here.

Very friendly front of house staff! I got a walk in consultation with their designer Emry and discussed the ideas for my remaining sleeve. He drew up an amazing piece after 30-40 minutes with input from myself, tweaking it to my liking. I didn’t feel rushed or under any pressure at all. We then discussed different artists for the style that I wanted and settled on a date later this November. A super easy and comfortable experience, I would highly recommend. The space is pretty cool also.

Our experience at Cleopatra so great from our first phone call to our time in the shop. The owner, Anas, greeted us as soon as we walked in and offered us water before our service. Star, our piercer, was so knowledgeable and helped us pick out jewelry and reassured my friend who was a bit nervous. I actually was just planning to support my friend while she got pierced but the vibe was so great that I decided to get a piercing as well! Overall it was great and I will definitely be back for additional services.

Its the only spot in the Bay area that closesest late. I had to go n buy a numbing cream. spoke to a lady and was told no problem shell wait for me if I didnt make it by 11 o clock.

This store not only has just one piercer; The piercer they have is clearly not qualified. The “artist” Star has not only messed up regular ear piercings she brutalized someone’s cheek attempting to achieve a dermal. The managers or owners of the store clearly did not background check her bull resume. Please if you love being able to feel ur face or have normal ears do NOT go to this place! Thank you!

My son and I spend 4 hours in the ER, getting a antibiotic IV drip and then my son had to go to urgent care while in another state after getting a very scary blood infection. They of course, said that everything was clean, then refunded the cost of the tattoo. Were considering an attorney. Stay away.

I just dropped in to get some new simple hoops for my cartilage and conch piercings. I was quickly greeted by someone and was out with my newly installed jewelry in less than 10 minutes! The piercer was helpful in installing it.

Artists are talented but it’s so extremely overpriced. My tattoo wasn’t done exactly how I wanted which normally would be fine w me but on a $400 piece that only took an hour and a half I’d expect it to be done extremely well. (I have 20+ tattoos btw). Not a bad shop but there’s so many better ones in the area

They changed my tattoo artist last minute after I went in person and has a consultation. They thought it would be a better fit and didnt bother to inform me of the change. Then they didnt refund me my deposit, as promised, and I had to do a chargeback. When you commission art, you are paying for the artist, not the franchise. It doesnt instill trust and I wont be returning.

Very slow. No matter if you have an appointment or you’re walk in. Stencil work takes so long. The artist messes up frequently. Atleast the one I was assigned. Spent like 30 mins just finding the right placement for tattoo on my arm. Unorganized and slow. That’s how I would explain the place. And absolutely charges for the most premium quality which they fail to provide. The quality of realistic tattoo is also very mediocre.

My first time getting a tattoo and got a handful of referrals to check out this new spot in Berkeley and I’m glad I went. The place is very clean and welcoming, the staff and artists are super chill and friendly, the chair was comfortable and the quality of work is beyond impressive. I definitely recommend anyone who wants a tattoo to check them out.

Went in for a free consultation and was blown away by the talent of the designers and the hospitality of all of the workers. Everyone has amazing energy this is the place you want to be if you want to get work done. The artists and designers are next level!

Waste of time dont go here had an appointment for 3pm for a tattoo consultation and they treated me like I was not even there I was on time for my appointment and just sat and waited for 20mins completely wasting my time I would suggest to go somewhere else for your tattoos this place is a total joke with their time management I had this appointment 3 days in advance the artist was just goofing around with someone else
