A biiiiggg thank you to Keene for being so gentle with me and catering to my needs.Ive been designing my art piece for a year now and its my first major piece. This piece meant a lot to me and so i had to make sure whoever does it needs to understand this needs to meet my needs.Keene understands all of that. It was an impromptu meeting with Berkeley Tattoo. I had just finish a consultation with another tattoo business and was completely turned off by them. It just so happen i was driving past Berkeley Tattoo Parlor and saw their door opened on the top and closed on the bottom. For some reason, it appealed to me and i decided to pull over. As i stepped into the stop, i met Keene. From the moment i met him, i knew i would come back to him.I strike up a conversation with Keene showing him my design and telling him of my needs. Not only was he welcoming, he was also really respectful and listened to my needs. Although the impromptu consult probably lasted, 15 min, it left a huge impression with me. In less than a week, i requested an appointment with him.Today, i came in for my tattoo and everything went accordingly. Not only did we pause for breaks, and checked the artwork, there were also some improvisations. Keene communicated with me very well about expectations of recovery and even the process of color changes and such. Though i felt i was nit picking at certain things, he gladly complied.My tattoo came out more beautiful than i imagined and im in love.Even though the tattoo took a longer than anticipated, it was very detail oriented and Keene slowed down a bit cause im highly sensitive and getting tattooed hurt more than i anticipated, Keene kept his price he estimated for me from our consultation.I was able to interact with some of his other fellow colleagues and everyone there was super chill with great attitudes, fun conversation and super hygienic and safe.Berkeley Tattoo Parlor may not be Art Deco and modern like some of the newer places but it keeps its traditional old school looks with some old school tattoo techniques you dont find much of anymore.If you want a great deal with great care and great attitudes that comes with it, i highly recommend you to check this place out.

Had a great experience here, I was able to walk in with no appointment on a Sunday at noon. Shawn was able to see me right away. Super nice, very light touch and Im very happy with my new ink! Highly recommend

Friendly, clean, comfortable, and affordable. The guys here are awesome artists and they listen to what you have to say. I recommend this place to all my friends whether they are covered in tattoos or it is their first one!

Anthony is amazing! I have been going to him for years and he never ever disappoints! He is easy to schedule with, very flexible and can easily decode my scratchy drawings. He is always quick to be real with me if my design is not feasible, he is quick with the design process and executes seamlessly. I trust him to enhance the details in the tattoos and they always come out beautiful, clean and crisp. I absolutely recommend Anthony!

I just have to say that this shop is beyond amazing. The artists are so welcoming and that really sets the tone.Me and my friends were walk-ins and we were accommodated almost instantly. Our artist was Keene. And I have to say, he is one talented man! Definitely was impressed with his work. The machine that prints the design on paper was tweaking on him, so he freehanded my design. It came out perfectly. And the time went by so quickly.If you are looking for quality artists and amazing designs, this is the place to be! You wont be disappointed, I promise!

I’ve been seeing Shawn and Anthony for years. I won’t let anyone else touch me. Of all my tattoos, the best are from Berkeley Tattoo. The artists here are very passionate about their work, and patient. They will work with you to make sure you have the best quality art. You won’t be disappointed.

Anthony is fantastic. Beautiful work. He made suggestions to design I brought him and my tattoo turned out better than I dreamed. Clean. Friendly. I will definitely go here again.

Yo I want to send a shout out to Anthony, he did this old school time clock with the gears that mean lots memories to me. He gets down really professionally at what he does best, I would definitely recommend him again!

I was a ‘walk in’ and they were exceptionally accommodating. Anthony did a great job on my small tattoo. I’m not a frequent flyer when it comes to tattoos and he was very gracious. I will definitely be back - worth the 2 1/2hr drive.

This is a great shop! Ive had quite a bit of work done here. A small leg piece and a whole back piece covering up some old work and they are top notch here! Clean fast and reliable.most of my work was do ne by Sean and but Ive seen them all do some awesome work

I got a tattoo at rework at this shop in 2015-2016. After paying the artist $1200 in hourly work, my tattoo looks a mess. The owner agrees to fix it and makes it look a bit better, but it still doesnt look professional.Id stay away from this shop. Especially, if you are black. They need to continue improving their craft

Keene was great. Worked from my concept drawing and checked every detail, making a big improvement. Superb line work and flawless execution.Pleasant experience all around. Highly recommend.

My sister and i went and we matching tatto in remembrance of ♡ it was a very nice experience Anthony did mine and Keen (hope I spelled his nam correctly) did my sisters I was a little nervous but Anthony was very patient, understand, considerate and concern also Keen along with the manager of the Berkeley location. The atmosphere was very friendly, warm, comfortable, sanitary and very passionate. We should them a picture of a cross and a dove. Then they made it into there own creation. That we love, I highly recommend this tattoo location. I garrunty you will not be disappointed.I would like to thank the owner, Anthony and keen for there hospitality and be bless. Staff was awesome. They paid incredibly close attention to sanitation, and were very clear with the type of pain I would feel. Did a great job of giving me after care instructions. Can’t wait to get more ink from this awesome group of people!
