Went there for Friday the 13th flash toy and had a great experience!! They were super busy but got to me in a good amount of time. Jason was my artist and I loved him!! Will definitely book with him in the future. I got 7 tattoos for just over $200, great deal for good work

Found this shop while looking for a place to get matching tattoos with my mom and sister. Jason was my artist and he did a really great job! the shop was clean, and he made sure it was a comfortable experience from start to finish. i will recommend this shop to anyone looking for a good place for a well done tattoo & its safe to say i will definitely be returning in the future to have more work done. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️☺️☺️

I went there Matt made promises that he could make my tattoo look better. He charged me $100 after the healing process. The tattoo look way worse and it blew out. I went up there politely and explained my situation. This young man looked at me like he wanted to hurt me. You know the man came from the back and was asking what was going on. This young man would not let me explain myself to the older gentleman but went on to say oh she got a cover up and thats just shading. Thats what shading does. He looked at me in the worst way and it was just very disappointing because I was so happy to finally get my tattoo fixed. If you cannot fix tattoos, dont make promises and when they come back dont act like you want to hurt the customer because its not my fault. You did not do a good job. I think you should go back to school or whatever it is. Yall do but you need to be educated and you also need to learn respect. I will also be writing the BBB because the healing process was horrible and I dont know what ink you use but it its tremendously. It was very cheap and I wonder whats the needle even clean because I did not see him change it

Ryan Layton is amazing! I posted some photos where I got my foot tattoo in Panama City the before photo was horrible and Ryan fixed it the way it supposed to look. I also got a tattoo on my arm the same night he’s great at what he does reasonable pricing very nice friendly my husband also got his tattoo on the back of his arm the next night by Ryan we highly recommend him! Ryan Layton is the best! Y’all go ahead and book a appointment with him! We love heavily tatted

Lowkey upset with this place got my tat done i say about a month and a half ago i came up their about 2 weeks ago because the dude that did my tattoo said for me to and i did and he simply told me nothings wrong with your tattoo is perfect so i just said okay and walked out said nothing wrong with my hands on my clock and said “ that’s exactly what you showed me “ need more opinions on it because i paid 250 for it this is my most expensive but most ugly tattoo

Great experience here! I had a terrible experience at a shop downtown Birmingham. I had an appointment for a daith piercing. After waiting for an hour, the artist leaves, while I’m still waiting. At this point, I was on a mission to get my piercing done that night. I called around to find somewhere still open and taking walk ins. I ended up at Heavily Tatted and had a great experience! Super nice, welcoming, and professional staff! EXTREMELY clean place! I would highly recommend!

The red inked tattoos will need another session. I noticed that after the swelling and blood stops. The ink began to lighten and became see through…They also will charge an extra 50$ if you ask them the price after the tattoo is done…

My boyfriend and I went for tattoos on a random Monday night. We were so lucky to get Ryan. Hes confidence during the consultation as he was drawing up my design changed the experience for us. As a nervous and picky person, he was PERFECT for me. This was both our first tattoos and we could not have had a better experience. Ryan was able to help me find the perfect size, placement, and even helped with the usage of my boyfriends handwriting. He was friendly, confident, professional, light-handed, and a joy to work with. Ryan has you in the room as he sanitatizes and cleans (I am OCD, so this was very good to see). His work is breath taking and will want you needing more tattoos by him. I cant wait for my next one, I am 100% scheduling with Ryan. 15/10 recommend.

Cory did my very first skull tattoo. He did an amazing job I would recommend anyone to go see him. He is an awesome person and he cares about his clients. His wife Erica is also a joy you both rock and you deserve a 20 star rating. Cant wait to come back for more ink.

My daughter and her friend went to this establishment for piercings. They allowed a trainee, alone, to do them. She screwed both piercings up. One was eyebrow but what was worse she pierced my daughters cartilage in her septum. PAINFUL!! Then just ran out the room without a word. A man came in to complete them and tried to shove the stud through, more painful, until he finally realized the trainees mistake. To top it off they charged them each $50. Gouge!!! Not the price given when called before hand. I personally wanted a tattoo done but after that...... sorely disappointed!

My husband and I were out of town and in the greater Birmingham area for a night out by ourselves for our 13th wedding anniversary. We called everywhere starting at about 10 pm. We wanted a new tattoo for each of us to celebrate our anniversary. I was shocked to see all the shops were either closed by 8 or 10 or fully booked and closed at midnight. My husband stumbled upon this place while doing a Google search. He called and the guy Nate said they were not busy to come on in. I plugged it into the GPS and were were 15 miles aways so we went. We got there and was greeted by Nate. He helped my husband pic a tattoo and set him up. I had found an image on Google that I wanted to go down my right leg. I texted the pic to his phone and they prepared the stencils. The guy Nate really doesnt give himself enough credit. He said his buddy (the owner of the shop) was better at coverups or whatever but he was busy with another customer. Nate ended up doing our tattoos. My husbands was on his left hand. This guy did an AMAZING job on both our tattoos. Were were both done in just under three hours and the new ink is beautiful! I love it! Also since it was our 13th anniversary we wanted to incorporate the number 13 into each tattoo, which he did. He picked the perfect font and size on each tattoo. I am EXTREMELY pleased and will definitely but a returning customer. I cant wait until I get another chance to drive back up there and get another tattoo!

Got my nose pierced here about a week ago. The girl was super sweet and did a great job and it is healing perfectly! Shop was clean and chill and pricing was fair!

Okay i absolutely hate leaving bad reviews really bad but a few months ago i had my septum pierced TWICE here in july 2022 (can’t remember the day) and the first time it was very very low but further back so i went two weeks later to get it repierced and i told her that i wanted it higher up (as inside of my nose) and she said okay (she was SO SO nice) butttt when she repierced it i noticed that she pierced it reallyyy low AGAIN but just moved it up and i just thought okay maybe that’s just how it’s suppose to be but it is now november 28th and i changed my septum and the ring feels as if it’s starting to go through my skin and i looked in the mirror and i can see the jewelry through my skin and it’s starting to tear my skin a little and that is absolutely not normal at all :/ but the customer service was SO good

Worst experience ever!! this guy pierced the side of my nose yesterday and told me he would be using a ring- like how every other person does it. he did not show me the ring before he did it OR the placement. never asked me if it was okay but he seemed like he knew what he was doing so i trusted him. when i looked in the mirror after he did it i literally almost fainted because it looked so bad. he had used a horseshoe piercing instead of a regular ring- which isnt even supposed to go in the side of your nose much less for a first piercing. i went back in and told him that it wasnt as expected and if he could do ANYTHING about it and he seemed like he didnt care and just said no sorry. it looks AWFUL. and its already infected the day after. worst place ever do not go here.

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE MATT AND FAH. MATT IS A GREAT GUY WITH UNBELIEVABLE PATIENCE. VERY PROFESSIONAL AND VERY GENTLE. HE WAS HONEST WITH ME ABOUT ALL IVE HAD DONE WITH HIM. I WAS ABLE TO PAY BY CASH APP. I LOVE THIS SHOP AND WILL NOT BE GOING TO ANYONE ELSE. PRICES ARE VERY REASONABLE. TONGUE PIERCED W/O BLEEDING NOR SWELLING AS WELL AS VAGINAL PIERCING...BOTH HEALED W/O COMPLICATIONS. I HAD 2 TATS DONE ALSO-SHOULDER AND VAGINAL. LOVE THIS SHOP AND HIGHLY RECOMMEND ANYONE TO GO. I WILL SHARE WHAT I CAN VIA PICS 😂

Awesome guys! Matt done covered about half my body and the ladies love it. Great people with good prices and quality work.and the meow girl is just mad because matt dont allow junkies to hang around.

We waited 5-6 hours to get tattoos this is what was on the flash and the second picture is the stencil and the 3rd picture is the outcome. Apparently we found out afterwards that they were using another artist’s flash or something because the guy doing the tattoos said he didn’t even know what was on there . This place is also located in one of the most dangerous parts of Alabama so please take my review as a cautionary tale. Edit: I AM going to get this covered up
