I love the fact they recommend nursing mothers NOT to get any tattoos until 9-12 months after giving birth. Now that is what you call professional. Some artist dont care at all, all they want us just the dollar dollar bill. I cant wait to go get my cute butterflies 🥰🥰

Hey yall my daughter asked Santa lol to bring her a nose piercing. One of my other daughters had gone to the Nook. It was my first time going there. The place was very clean. The employees were very nice. They took time with us to answer our questions. I had to sign for my daughter to get the nose piercing. The gentleman explained the paper work. After the piercing the gentleman explained to us how to care for it. He even gave us care instructions on paper. The entire process fully met my expectations. Praise God for the Nook. (Huge Smile). My friend came in today to get her navel pierced only to be made uncomfortable by a shop employee, and for it to come out totally crooked and off-center. The first red flag was the $25 price tag, as any reputable shop in the Birmingham area usually charges minimum $40 to $60 for the navel. My friend didnt know this as Im the one who is more experienced with body piercings. Disappointing to us who love to patronize small, local businesses.

Man when I tell you all that these dudes are the Truth!!! I absolutely love my tattoos. Jimbo did 2 big tattoos of mine in 1 hour. My tats doesnt look put together, thrown together, not bad at all. Straight professional. Im most definitely coming back. Matter of fact... Im so satisfied, Im coming back tomorrow for more. Jimbo is the TRUTH!!!

I went there to get my nose pierced they are very professional and did it really quick and only for $25 I definitely recommend them I will be going back

I went in initially to get my tongue pierced, but the piercer was so ridiculously good at not causing any pain, that I went ahead and pierced my nipples and tongue, along with two tatoos same day. Great bedside manner and are freaking amazing at what they do. Will go back at any given moment.

I would only go here for lettering because they are not the best artists. Very cheap work, which is cool if thats what youre looking for. Line work here is very rigged and uneven. I most definitely would not recommend for any type of shading. All font here is the same. A friend of mine got the word faith on her back 5 years ago. I went into the shop 2 years ago and received the exact same tattoo but on my foot. Luckily I liked the font. However theres not much versatility here. I wont be back.

Ive used both Big Daddy and Jimbo...IF you do decide to go thereNEVER USE JIMBO....his free hand is horrible and he rushes through it...You will definitely go back for him to fix something

2 friends and I went this morning and got our noses pierced. We were in and out. Its very clean and the artists are super nice and friendly. I plan on going back in the next week to get a tattoo fixed. Thanks guys youre awesome!!!!

I know you get what you pay for, and I paid 75 for two small simple tattoos. Nice place and good music, but unprofessional and I love my ink but they are definitely not so good, Ill be getting them fixed soon. Its a shame simple trace work is so hard.

Unprofessional for no reason!! Me and my two friends came to get 5 piercings between the 3 of us. Due to covid we had to wait in our car and he came to ask us what we were getting and then he proceeded to walk off we noticed other people that arrived after us going into the shop and I decided to walk up to the door and see what the hold up was. He tells me they are closed even though we walked you to the car and asked us what we were getting 45 minutes prior! Didn’t even give us an apology or explanation! Do not spend your money here

You can smell the clean when you walk in the door. Went in for a piercing only had to wait a few minutes. Professional friendly crew. Will stop here again

Have been coming here for all my piercings; great staff makes you feel at home , my only problem is they only open so many days a week and on the days they are open they close way earlier then closing time 😒

I have been getting tats at a store on Highland Ave. They would do the tattoo and place a sterile plastic over it. free two days, the tat was good. N Da Nook did the tat, and the next day my atm was swollen and the blackbirds were white. I had to get shots for the swelling and now the birds are pealing. When I went to see them, their excuse was that the tat was bigger and I had to give it more time. I was also told not to peal it. I àm very unhappy with their service and want to find the guys from Highland or someone as good as they are.

I recently came there for a side tattoo just a name and a date 1st I had to walk in and out twice just to get somebody to come to the front then one of them told me they were booked up but nobody was in there getting a tattoo 🤔 he wanted me to come back Thursday and it was Saturday then the other said he couldnt do it because I was asking for to much and I cant stress enough that NOBODY WAS IN THERE I will never give them my business again and Im going to turn ppl way because they are not what ppl make them out to be AT ALL

Had to take my belly piercing out because of the placement of the piercing and because my skin was about to rip. Not sure if the piercing hole will even close properly .😕
