When we walked in it was very inviting and warm.

We did a walk in for my two girls to get their ears pierced. Everything was clean, the team was professional and communicated expectations, and the piercer (Josh) was fantastic. He talked to the girls to calm them and made sure they understood the process! Highly recommend for piercings!

Last year my daughter and I got our septums pierced by Josh and a couple days ago we both got vertical labrets, she got an upper ear piercing and I got a dermal.The shop was clean, the environment was fun, and Josh is great. Hes calm and knowledgeable and put us at ease. He was very patient with all our questions and took his time lining things up and finding just the right spots for us. It never felt like he was annoyed or in a rush. He was professional and explained the pros and cons and aftercare really well. We were encouraged to call if we had any questions or concerns and I can tell this shop stands by their work and is happy to troubleshoot any potential healing problems with you.Im kinda running out of things Im willing to pierce at this point but Id happily come back here if I want something new! Got my navel and conch pierced at the same time about a year ago. i knew the navel was done incorrectly but i decided to try and let it heal how it was (the piercer should know best right?). the jewelry i was given for it was WAY too short. both of the balls on the end of the bar were already touching my skin as i left the studio. this caused swelling, pain, and infection. i went to get new jewelry somewhere else and they had to advise me to just remove the jewelry completely because of how it was done. i decided to switch to an L-shaped bar to fit my anatomy since the normal one was quite obviously not working. (the original piercer also nicked my skin with the needle above the piercing when he did it). my conch only healed after i changed the jewelry. i believe the piercer should have told me i did not have the correct anatomy for a navel piecing instead of just doing it anyway- i think most ppl would agree. i recommend asking whether you have good anatomy for whatever piercing you’re looking for if you come here.

As someone who has 10+ piercings from several different studios I have to say that this is the best studio I’ve ever been to! Josh was funny, friendly, knowledgeable, and made the whole experience amazing! I got my neck dermal removed and gained an eyebrow piercing, and the whole experience was by far the most quick and painless I’ve ever had. 12/10

I came here today to get my Nostril pierced and I have no hesitation giving five stars. The service is incredibly friendly, efficient and fast. Also very informative and I didnt feel like I was hassling them by asking questions, aftercare process was explained in great detail. I would highly recommend Ikon for your needs!

Been there a few times and had only been pierced by Josh, he did a great job every time. Went there the other day and got pierced by someone else this time, (might’ve been tristin) he pierced my ear and my aunts nose in the wrong spot. She already had to go get it dug out of her skin at a different tattoo shop 3 days later. Took her to get her first one as she’s 56 years old and it was not a good experience for her. I thought i was taking her to a good place. If you come here only get piercings done if it’s from Josh.

Dont get pierced here – They gave me butterfly backs for my lobe piercings. Before I opted for studs, they also offered me hoops for my brand new lobe piercings. I should not have ignored these red flags. This is super unprofessional and easily avoidable. They never wouldve healed if I hadnt gone to Born Weird to replace them with proper flat-backs. Go there instead.

I was here a few weeks ago and I believe it was Janelle who pierced me & swapped out some of my other jewelry for me. Was my first time visiting and I’ll definitely be back, they had quick service, lots of jewelry to choose from, and gave me a great eyebrow piercing that’s healing good so far!

Tristin was awesome! He was extremely clean and careful with my daughter as he pierced her ears. He marked the area then made sure she was okay before he proceeded. Im thankful we didnt choose another location!

Troy was incredible. He got me and my spouse in quickly and did amazing work. Made suggestions to improve the tattoo and talked with us like he knew us forever.

I got my cartilage pierced and my sister got her doubles done at the same time. it was the cheapest piercing i’ve ever gotten by far, it was super quick, and the person was very professional and made absolutely certain that we knew what to do for proper aftercare before we left. they also made sure that we knew that they’ll swap out the long jewelry for shorter jewelry in a few months for free, which isn’t super common in idaho! they’re also accredited, which isn’t a requirement in idaho but it did really ease my anxiety. they were also open late enough that we were able to go after dinner, which was super helpful because we were a little short on time during this trip lol. overall, i highly recommend that you come here!

Went there td to get my tongue peirced! They did a great job I think the peircer was named Tristan, I j think that the peircing looks great and it was a very comfortable atmosphere. 10/10 would recommend

My daughter and I went in for piercings without an appointment near closing time. Our experience with Josh was truly outstanding. From the start, his gentle and soft-spoken demeanor made us feel at ease. Joshs professionalism shone through in every aspect, demonstrating a high level of expertise that ensured a quick, seamless and efficient process. Exceptional- Would definitely go back!

My daughter and I have had all of our piercings done at Ikon. The same guy has done all of the piercings and he is so awesome. He is so quick and precise. I would never go anywhere else. Between the two of us we have different piercings -lips, septums, noses, etc. and we have been more than satisfied every time and have never ever had an issue with any infection or pain. Thanks, Ikon!!!

Left Ikon with blood drying inside my previously healed tragus piercing. I got the tragus pierced out of state and just went in to have the post shortened. The piercer (piercing isnt regulated in Idaho- it was clear this person had 0 training) couldnt figure out how to get the jewelry out and wrenched painfully at it for 5 minutes before violently popping it off, which sent my nice jewel flying across the room. We both crawled around looking for it, the floor was covered with clumps of dust and hair, random jewelry pieces, and used gloves and face masks. Finally found my jem in the mess under a stool. Then she realized that she didnt even have the right sized backing to downsize, so she just had to put my original jewelry back in. At least they didnt charge me anything. Left with my tragus hurting, bleeding, and too swollen all over again to be able to downsize. Keep yourself safe and go to Hippie Hoops and Holes - the only piercing-specific studio in the Treasure Valley. I tried to save myself the drive to Nampa, but it was certainly not worth it!

Please read to the endi’ve gotten pierced here a couple of times. i got my first piercing here (my septum) which i absolutely love! then i got my tongue pierced (also love that!), and my little sister got her first nose piercing here as well. i thought that from my good experiences that it was a good place and wanted to keep going. i got my nipples pierced here about last summer and i couldn’t even last a month with them. they were pierced incorrectly, and they were getting infected, despite me cleaning them regularly. the piercer who did them used a clamp on my right one and his hands on the left one. he pierced deep into my areola on the left one and they were both crooked. the piercer i just went to to get them redone made me aware of the mistakes of this because i truly thought i was just being picky. i know i signed a paper saying they aren’t responsible etc etc, but i wanted to share this because while i’ve had good piercings here, i will not be going back. that piercing was my most painful so far and to have to accept the fact that i wasted about $100 on them really sucked. they were a waste of time and money and it just wasn’t a good experience. even with this experience, i’m still going to give 3 stars because there are piercings from them that i do love. but this was a big deal to me and it really sucked.

This place is amazing. The vibe is so relaxed the artists are super friendly. Even the interactions I had with the other customers was so cool. Trenton was absolutely amazing. He gave me my first neck tattoo and helped me find the perfect one; and his execution was flawless (not to mention he was quick).

I recently went to get my navel pierced here by Janelle. The whole thing took about 10 minutes, in and out. The shop was super relaxed and the piercer was very sweet, and the pricing was fair. I would definitely recommend!

Im bad with names, but it was either John or Josh, and he was friendly, affordable, and quick. I felt safe being there, and he was patient with my questions and oddly half-healed right earlobe piercing. The piercings are healing very well, too.

Ive had 4 tattoos and 2 piercings done here over 4 years time. Both tattoo artists are great and always have good input for what will look good in the long run. Both of my piercings are very unique and turned out perfect. Dont hesitate to call!

I got two tattoos done by Troy last night and it was everything you’d want in a tattoo artist! He was kind and listened to all of my requests. His detail is precise and he has so much knowledge on how to make a tattoo look exactly how you want it to. He also graciously listened to all of my complaining on how painful it was. I will 100% recommend him to every one I know. I had no problems whatsoever!

Stopped by here to replace a gauge after I accidentally whipped it off at the airport TSA and forever lost it. The guy I talked to really went out of his way to help me and be very welcoming since I was a newcomer to Boise. Very amazing customer service! Also he was cute too.

Got my second tattoo on a whim while on vacation visiting my family. Trynton was kind, his work is amazing and professional. He designed the tattoo I wanted. I would highly recommend him and Ikon. The place was clean and very professional.

Just got my septum pierced here and it hurt way less than a nostril piercing. They did a great job. It was quick and easy.

Ive been wanting to get more ear piercings and a nose piercing for ages. Its my birthday week, so I finally decided to just do it as a gift to myself. I went to Ikon because theyre conveniently located, and Im so glad I came in! Soryn was really great to work with! They gave me the price upfront, communicated during the process, and helped me feel comfortable the whole time.I love how the piercings turn out! When Im ready for more, Ill definitely be back!

Absolutely the worst place to get a piercing!! They screwed up the piercings and used a larger gauge size than my other piercings are without discussing it with me 1st. The picture with the 3 pierces is what they used. The other picture is what they should be using. The guys hands shook uncontrollably when he was piercing my ear. They do not sterilize the jewelry and they dont wear gloves when they touch the jewelry nor during the piercing. Do not go to them!

Did great with my babies first ear piercings! They were fast and did a great job. The only thing I would change is the earrings that were put in have a sharp point in the back so they are irritating the skin behind her ear. That type of earing can be difficult for babies so I hope to change them as soon as they heal!

Great place for first time piercings. Took my girls there (ages 11 and 14). They were totally patient even when 1 of them decided they didnt want to after all. They made sure the piercing placement was exactly right before actually doing the piercing, and communicated very effectively all that we should do to make sure there were no infections etc. They are also reasonably priced. Not as cheap as Claires in the mall (I would never get a piercing at Claires) but not as expensive as other places and the first studs came with the piercing price which other places in town do not do. Other tattoo places charge per stud which basically doubles your overall cost. iKon overall was great to work with and well be back for my other daughters in the future.

Tattoo came out okay but extremely overpriced unfortunately we didnt settle on a price before my sons tattoo was done I was expecting to pay $250-300 which is average for the basic tattoo work my son wanted we went in his tattoo took 2 hours from start to finish which is average just some line work and a little fill in all black nothing special then the artist Troy says thatll be $600 I mean come on $300 a hour for tattooing you better be world class not just out of apprenticeship this kid did okay but definitely not a 300 a hour tattooer wayyyyy overpriced will not be going back nor any of my friends or family complete ripoff for a 2 hr session that should have only been $250-300

I feel like this was a one off experience since all other reviews are fine but I went in literally just to buy new septum jewelry and have it put in. The piercer tried to open my CBR by prying it open the wrong way. Like not moving each side away from each other so it makes an opening but literally prying the ring open to make an oval, this ruins jewelry and it hurt pretty bad. She then also did this to the new ring I bought in there… literally destroys the shape of the ring. I’m not too happy.

Visited the shop today Josh was who helped me with my piercing completely professional, very clean and friendly. I will definitely be back.

I walked in to Ikon and the shop was clean and the people working there were friendly. I got two daith piercings, one in each ear. Josh was the person piercing. He was very knowledgeable and helpful. He gave me a lot of useful information about cleaning my piercings and after care. He told me that they will switch out my jewelry after three months for free if I come back in. I highly recommend this shop.

I went in after having a not so great experience somewhere else, looking for an opinion and new jewelry. The piercer was rad, friendly and helpful. Didnt catch his name but Id definitely go back for piercings and check out their tattoo artists. 10/10 experience

I got my nose pierced here and I didn’t even feel it, it was super quick. The price was really good too. The man that pierced my nose also fixed my belly button that closed on the bottom for no cost. He is so gentle you don’t even know it’s happening.I highly recommend this place.

Myself and my teenage nieces walked in for a belly button, nose and ear piercing and the staff was very friendly about us not having an appointment and made us feel comfortable! I think our piercers name was Brandon. He was very knowledgeable and very fast with the piercings. Everything was very clean and 1 week later our piercings are healing so well that we are attributing it mostly to to the quality of the sanitation, metal and technique! Plus following their after care instructions! Id recommend Ikon to anybody wanting to get a piercing and have already recommended it to people Ive talked to about it!

Went to replace my daughters nose ring after a piercing in another state healed and she wanted a hoop. They were great helping us pick something out and sizing it for her!

This place was fantastic! I took my daughter there to get her ears pierced and the guys who did the piercings were fantastic. She was super excited all week to get her ears pierced, but got so nervous and started crying when it came time to actually doing it. The guy who was piercing her ears was so kind and understanding and soothing. He pulled a coworker over to help him so they could do both of her ears at the same time. It was over insanely quickly, and apparently as painless as it could be. He took so much care to make sure the piercings were even and perfectly aligned. It looks fantastic and my daughter is absolutely thrilled with the results. Parents, please don’t take your kids for mall piercings with some 16 year old girl at Claire’s. This place was super clean, professional, and everybody was so friendly! Thank you guys so much!

I had no problems with the piercer or my piercing experience, however i am very sensitive to nickel. i got both of my nostrils pierced here in february. everything was okay for about two weeks and then they became very irritated. i had not been cleaning them correctly so i switched to sterile everything. that did not fix the irritation. eventually i called the shop and asked what material they used for their jewelry. i was told it was low nickel titanium i’m not sure if the piercer answered the phone or not but due to my nickel sensitivity i chose to go somewhere else to replace the jewelry to see if that would fix anything. when i went to the other shop they told me that no titanium jewelry should have any nickel in it whatsoever. when they changed the jewelry it took a few days for the irritation to go away and for them to start healing properly. i am not saying i don’t recommend this place, but if your sensitive to nickel like me, al’s for higher quality jewelry. the placement is perfect and the piercer was very nice to me. just get the right jewelry for you!

My mom and I decided to get matching tattoos for my birthday. We made an appointment earlier in the day and they fit us in that night! The girl who talked to me on the phone was so kind and accommodating and gave me a reasonable and accurate quote. Troy was our artist, and he was so nice and made our experience great! It was our first tattoos for both of us, so we were a little nervous, but we were made to feel so comfortable. Our tattoos look amazing and are everything we wanted, couldn’t be happier!!

I went in with my boyfriend to get his vertical labret done a few weeks back, the piercer (janelle, i believe) said very little going through the process. i wasn’t even getting the piercing and i was nervous just not knowing what was happening since she didn’t walk through it. it just kind of seemed like she wanted to get it over with and didn’t want to take the extra time to make it a comforting expierience. 3 stars because the piercing still turned out great! it’s a chill place but i personally wouldn’t get any piercings here becuase of this.

I’ve gotten one tattoo and multiple piercings here. The piercer is intelligent, professional, and confident. She knows exactly what she’s doing and is great at it. All of my piercings have healed with no issue and been exactly in the location I asked for them. My tattoo was a tribute tattoo for my grandmother and the artist, Jake, was awesome and kind about the subject and his work genuinely did justice to her memory. He was willing to work with multiple little things I wanted to tweak about the design and his line work is ridiculously clean. Like I’ve never seen an artist do lines like his in person before. He is honest with his customers about what his specialties are and he is also honest about any potential issues a customers specific design could have. He genuinely cares that his customers leave with clean art they’ll be happy with well down the road. His work is quick and efficient and just all around great. He does exactly what he says he will and brought my idea to life in an even more amazing way than my imagination had. I will go here again and again for tattoos and piercings.

Trynton did a great job on my anklet tattoo. A basic outline which was several years old and done by a friend already existed. Trynton completely transformed the existing tattoo into exactly what I wanted!

I have gotten multiple piercings from these guys and absolutely love them they are the sweetest people ever and they take such good care of you and make sure that you know how to take care of your piercing correctly. I have been tattooed at least once by everyone in the shop, they are all super nice and every tattoo has been a reasonable price. The shop itself has a great atmosphere and no matter if you come at a busy time or not all employees are welcoming and nice. They understand your wishes for the tattoo and help make the final product amazing. Every tattoo I have got has been better than expected both experience wise and talent wise. My favorite shop in town, Ive gotten several piercings done here by Josh and Janelle. They are both extremely nice and will take their time to make sure you are comfortable. They always make sure to sanitize everything and wear gloves.Everyone else that works there is super chill as well, and the place has a great atmosphere.

I have gotten a tattoo here before and i have gotten my nose pierced here, i love the environment and staff. I called 2 weeks ago asking about covering up some scars and they were super sweet and supportive about it. Some of my friends have had really bad experiences with tattoo shops being judgmental about covering scars but ikon is not judgmental in the slightest. Love it here!!!

I walked in to Ikon to get a tattoo on my forearm in June of 2020, the artist did an awesome job making sure my piece looked exactly how I wanted it before we started. Before starting they also gave me a very reasonable quote for it. Made great conversation during my session and was also very sanitary and patient during it. All that and the tattoo was exactly what I wanted. Artist also made sure I knew how to take care of it, and offered free touch ups if I noticed any spots. Lastly, I think that the job he did was in a very timely manner. I highly recommend this place, and will definitely look to them when it’s time to get another.

My son wanted his bridge and eyebrow pierced. Initially made an appointment at Imperial. Walked out of Imperial piercing due to very rude staff. Called Ikon and they said come on over. They were very professional. Everyone was kind. The piercer was very knowledgeable and efficient. Nice relaxed environment. They truly know what a piecing experience should be. Thank you!

I have gotten all my piercings done by janelle and she is an amazing piercer! i definitely recommend this place for piercings. tattoos on the other end… i got simple line work done, the tattoo took 2 minutes to be completed yet i got charged a ridiculous amount for some 6/10 line work. didn’t get wrapped or cleaned and the artist kept trying to convince me to reschedule

El did a beautiful job with my tattoo. I loved the vibe at this shop. All the staff were upbeat and welcoming. Clean, professional setup. I recommend it and Ill definitely return.

My daughter got her ears pierced for her 7th birthday and they did I stellar job of making her comfortable and she didn’t even flinch. We’re sweet to my girls and plan to be back when my youngest wants her ears pierced. Was everything Claire’s isn’t. Super grateful

I got my nose pierced here the other month. The customer service is good but recently there’s been a problem with staff vaping inside the shop. I don’t know how long this has been going on but that is not sanitary at all especially when you are working with needles in skin.

Went to get my daughters ears pierced. She’s 7 and was a little nervous. Their tech did a great job! Super fast, very clean and sanitary, and they did a great job making us both feel comfortable. 10/10 would recommend.

My two friends and I got our impulsive piercings here and Jacob Moyle was the best! Extremely personable and professional, yet made the atmosphere comfortable. Seriously the best piercer I have been to yet. I will definitely come back for the rest of my piercings here no matter what.

The atmosphere here is amazing. About a year ago I had a tattoo and piercings done at their old location. Upon entering the new studio, I was pleasantly surprised that they remembered me and the work they did. I was there for several hours and appreciated the staffs friendliness in making sure I had a snack and was hydrated. This is definitely the only studio I will go to now.

Ikon is amazing. Whoever owns this shop is good at what there doing. Couldn’t be anymore impressed. It’s so clean and organized in this shop. Definitely recommend a 10/10 for sure. Our artist Trenton was the best. Can’t wait to get some more, We’ll be back for sure.

What an amazing shop! My 4 friends and I were hanging out one Saturday night, when we had the spontaneous idea of going to get tattoos. We searched for places and noticed Ikon was open till midnight and had amazing reviews so we called and they said to come on in! We got there at about 10:30pm & were told exactly how long it would be before he, (Jacob) could get to us and to send him all of our ideas. The second he was done with his first clients, he was ready and excited to immediately get all of our ideas drawn up EXACTLY the way we wanted and was willing to stay however long need be to ensure everyone got what they came for. We all felt bad considering it’s past midnight by now (when they close) and there’s 4 of us wanting tattoos. Jacob insisted it was perfectly fine and was determined to take care of us all. I just want to highlight the fact that he stayed at the shop till 3 in the morning tattooing every single one of us and how much we appreciated his time and efforts. Not to mention, his artwork and abilities are phenomenal. I will forever come back to this artist for any further work. 10/10 recommended.

The atmosphere at this place was great. The lady that pierced my wifes nose was very knowledgeable and talked her through it. The only thing I didnt like was that we made a 6pm appointment and paid 50 to hold that spot. We arrived on time and filled out all the paper work and were just waiting for the artist to finish up. The artist then decided that she really likes a tattoo this other person was getting and tattooed them first so we ended up waiting untill almost 8 for her to finally start working on my wifes tattoo. Over all it was great but I just feel that we paid for a time slot so there should have been any jumping just cause she like the other tattoo.

I took my four year old there to get her ears pierced and to get my eye brow done at the same time. Tristen was very friendly and understanding of my four year old not wanting to continue after getting one ear done. After about a 10 minute cool down and talking to her, he managed to convince her to let him pierce her other ear and she left one happy little girl with two shiny new earrings. The piercings are very straight in both ears and my eyebrow and he was very clean in the process. I highly highly recommend this shop!! Tristen was AMAZING along with everyone else in the shop who was helpful and invested in my daughters ear piercing experience!!

My girlfriend got her septum pierced her it was a little crooked but not much to notice I got my nose and septum pierced and they told me In advance that it might not be perfect but the guy that did it was perfect they are really good at telling you the after care and nothing got infected highly recommend

I found this amazing shop after numerous failed attempts of a piercing. Called and booked an appointment same day. Janelle, the shops most experienced piercer, explained and gave me professional advice on proper piercing and after care on the piercing I wanted. Ive gotten 8 piercings here. they have been super nice a cooperative. Janelle did all my cartilage piercings and my second nose piercing. She was calm and collected and didnt seem to mind that when i was super nervous i asked questions. She also gave me unpredictable answers that made me laugh.

Myself and my daughter got our ears pierced here. My daughter was scared (shes 9) but everyone had been very sweet and comforting. The place is clean and our ears look great. My daughter has been talking about her earrings for the past day!

I’ve gone here for every one of my piercings (except for my first earlobe one) and every time has been amazing. unfortunately i don’t remember the names of the first two people who gave me my nose and septum piercing, but they were also incredible. today i was tattooed by trenton (that’s not how is name is spelled but that’s how it’s pronounced and that’s all i got) and he was so kind. he helped me find the perfect placement for my tattoo and chatted with me before starting which helped my nerves a lot. this was a great experience for my first tattoo and i will absolutely come back! :)

So I went here a few weeks ago and I am not happy with the outcome, first of all on my right ear it’s at a pretty major angle making it harder to put the back on without it pinching my ear, on the left it’s better but still at an angle, second of all the piercing studs are cheap and are a constant hassle, the back ball kept unscrewing itself and falling off until one night it came off and my piercing closed up partially so I re opened it with another earring forcing it through. The only good thing that came out of it, it has not gotten infected, they kept their equipment very clean. I would not suggest this place to any of my friends for piercings.

I called into see if they could do a last minute lip tattoo, and even with how slammed they were and how difficult lip tattoos are. Erik got me in! He’s was super kind and funny and was really understanding anytime I had to stop him to readjust my lip haha. The environment here is fun and feels like a safe place. And I absolutely love my tattoo, he let me know how quick my tattoo could fade and told me I could come in for free touch ups on it. My best friend also got pierced here and the guy was super kind and funny, helped calm her down and went at her pace. I would definitely recommend Ikon to anyone looking for a great tattoo artist or a great piercer

I went to Ikon yesterday for my nipple piercings and the experience was wonderful! I was in and out in 10 minutes. I almost passed out afterwards and everyone was super great checking on me and bringing me water to make sure I was okay. I highly recommend them and I will definitely be going back for my piercing needs!

I have been wanting my belly button pierced for about a year now, so once I turned 18 my boyfriend & I drove to boise so I could get it done. I have really bad anxiety n was shaking but the dude that did it was awesome. He made sure it was straight n made it a very fast piercing. I was supper happy when it was done; they are very sanitized , professional, & affordable.

I had my medusa pierced here a few months ago, Ive had to take it out for work since then, however it was so well done. Very gentle piercer, perfect placement and I got lots of information about aftercare. I went in a few times to get new jewelry, they have lots of options that are high quality and beautiful. Took my 5 year old daughter to get her ears pierced. The piercer was AMAZING with her. He was so sweet and worked with her well. Very comfortable waiting area, great service, pays attention to you, but service isnt slow either. We drove there from Nampa, and it was well worth the drive.

Pretty pricey I think considering Ive gotten most of my piercings for $10. Got a simple septum and my sister got her nostril, $45 each. Very clean and professional. The lady that did ours was very nice and quick.

My friend and I were here a few days ago. She got her first tattoo, it looked amazing and Jake was very nice to her. However, when it came to my touch up he was very rushed and rude. He kept commenting on my low pain tolerance then charged me $15 more then I paid for the original when i was only on the table for 5 minutes. They also did not clean mine or wrap it afterwards. Great atmosphere, just wished to be treated a little better.

Walked in here based on the google reviews and Im glad I did! Erik wasnt available when I came in, but Kiera called him and he soon showed up on his day off to pierce my nose. He was hilarious and instantly put me at ease. He was very professional, quoted a good price, and was very clean and hygienic when performing the piercing. I liked the shop and the people in it, and I would go back to Erik in a heartbeat to do any other piercings. I highly recommend the shop to others!

I set up an appointment to get a small tattoo done and paid a deposit over the phone to secure my appointment slot. when i made the deposit, i was told that deposit was going towards the total charge of the tattoo. after finishing the tattoo, i was told the total would be a certain amount, so i paid and left. when i checked my bank account later, i was charged for 2 separate transactions: my deposit, and then what i was told was the total cost of the tattoo. when i called to ask if i was intentionally charged almost double what i was told it would be, i was told that the tattoo artist did do that intentionally. the quality of the tattoo i received was disappointing as well, as i was told that they couldn’t do what i sent in as a reference photo so we had to change it based on the artist’s inability to give me what i had asked. (when i had sent in the reference photo before arriving to my appointment i was told it was absolutely doable) i am very disappointed in the services i received at this shop, and i will not be returning again. these people are money hungry and will rip you off if you give them the chance.

Pierre sisters super friendly and professional. I got vertical nipple piercings and havent had a single issue with them except for my ring fell out a week after and I lost it. I went to the store and they were able to put it back in and replace it for free. I will go back for any other piercings I choose to get.

My friends and I went in and got piercings. One got her bridge done and barely 3 days later she had to black eyes from it, she went to another place and they said it was the worse bridge piercing they had ever seen. I started having issues with my medusa as well, the back of my lip was swelling so much that my lip was growing over the back of my piercing because they didn’t give me a long enough piercing as well. Along with that the after care instructions was actually irritating my piercing rather than cleaning it. After going, i’ve heard so many bad stories when sharing what happened with my piercing to others. Do not recommend going here.

I had a great experience getting my first piercing. Jay came highly recommended from friends who entrusted him with doing an ear piercing on their infant daughter. I went in for an eyebrow piercing, which went great, and ended up getting my lobes pierced too. It gave Jay a chance to train Janelle, who was also brilliant. Lots of fun, thanks guys!

Went in to get my LeBret pierced, impressions were fine, however after the fact I’d come to notice my piercing was pierced slanted and quickly became infected.I then went into another shop to get it looked at because I wasn’t sure what to do and then it was confirmed that it was pierced slanted and the bar that they put in was too short and didn’t allow room for swelling, creating the infection and pain in my lip.Overall, not a good experience take your money elsewhere :)

Jake was so friendly, entertaining and kind - making me feel right at home. This was my third tattoo, but the biggest one I have so far and was nervous for getting it near my collar bone. It wasn’t as painful as I thought, and he was able to initiate small talk really well to keep my mind off of the pain. I went in for my first tattoo yesterday with Nick and it was a wonderful expirience! The shop was very clean, proffesional, and welcoming! Contacted the store to try and make an appointment, lady tells me to text my reference photos and she’ll get “right back” to me after she finds an artist. Waited a whole day to ask them if they’ve found someone, their only question was asking if I was the one looking for a so-and-so tattoo. I reply yes, no answer back for 3 more hours. Either get a receptionist or get a better one. Shouldn’t take 3 days to make an appointment.

Went to get some walk-in piercings over a month ago with a friend , a septum and a classic nose stud. both piercings were done at an angle and the septum piercing had to be completely re done. they did it for free, which is the leader they could do. I have had many body piercings and tattoos and all have healed fine except this one. my nose stud fell out overnight and the hole plugged up. this is not the first time it’s fallen out. the piercing was not put in straight. it was pierced lower inside my nose than the outside. WOULD NOT GET PIERCED HERE AGAIN. piercer was unprofessional and only offered to re do the septum after we were upset that it was crooked and talked to someone else at the shop about it. overall, super unprofessional and poor piercing work.

Ikon is quite literally the best place I’ve ever been pierced, and I currently have 35 piercings.. the men and women working at ikon are the nicest people I’ve ever met, and they really go out of their way to foster a welcoming, safe environment. I’ve been pierced by 2 different piercers now, and each time, I’ve barely felt anything. These people really know what they’re doing and I’ll never go anywhere else. Thanks again Tristen and josh!!

Two of us went in for two tattoos of hearts. Quite simple, the appointment was canceled twice due to the artist having family issues, having someone else pick up his appointments. Once arriving home we noticed one of the tattoos wasn’t what we had intended. When reaching out to get back into the shop to fix it they wouldn’t answer, always said to call back, won’t respond to emails, etc. we can’t get a response back. My simple outline of a heart is very poor quality. The line isn’t straight, it’s shaky and not fluid. Wasn’t very impressed with quality or professionalism.UPDATE: The shop did get us in to fix the tattoos— Thank you!! However, still disappointed that this occurred in the first place and that there were no covid precautions besides disinfecting the table.

Amazing experience I went into the shop to get my industrial pierced. The piercers name was Jake, I was extremely nervous and he calmed me down and explained the process very well. Absolutely would recommend!

Lost my brother in 2009 and wanted something in memory of him. Got a picture of the dragon on his back and took it in. The shop was pretty new and the owner is a family friend. Was terrified and emotional all at the same time. When he was done with my art I couldn’t help but cry. Never did I think someone could take a picture off my phone and put it so amazing on my back. My brother would be proud. Skipping to many years later and I take my daughter to get her nose pierced. Dude was fanatic. Mom here was a little light headed but made it. Now getting ready to get a tatto for my daughter in memory of her grandma. Can’t wait to see the amazing work these peeps do. Oh and husband got one in memory of his buddy and was beyond over the top. Wouldn’t trust many with my daughter but sure would trust them.

I had an old tattoo I wanted covered and had met Erik through my work. I met with him and landed on an AMAZING idea for a sleeve. As of today we almost have the outline done, and its fantastic! Erik will be my go-to from here on out for any future work I have done.Everyone in the shop is a blast to be around. Fun, professional, and all in all a really good time. I cant think of another place I can sit for 6-7 hours and be completely content and highly entertained. Nothing but love for these folks. Erik, Janelle, Jake, Tristan, and that one kid that stood on one leg like a crane while we discussed my work. Go see them!

Got my snake bites done here. Everything went well, until i went to change to hoops. The piercer didn’t even put in the jewelry i wanted the first time, nor the second, and she had to step out and have someone else come help her with something she’s supposed to be trained in. They pulled and pinched my lip while trying to change the jewelry, and then I didn’t even get what I wanted!

I was scared to get my first tattoo, but Troy made is so much better! He handled my nervousness really well and I am absolutely obsessed with my tattoo. The price was perfect as well. I will be referring my friends here from now on :)

I took my five kids to get their ears pieced.ages 10, 7, 3,2 , and 11 months.. .. They were so patient with my kids . Not to mention I accidentally took a nap and missed my original appointment time. They didnt even hassle me. And put me in that evening. They close at 12-am... Clean and knowledgeable. And the price was awesome. They didnt charge me extra over head for many kiddos being so young. I went here to get a simple nose piercing to match the one on the other side of my nose. The person piercing my nose was very nice. But when he was placing the dot for my piercing i was a little concerned that it looked crooked and didn’t line up with the other side. he had me to go another tattooer to show him and get his opinion and even he said it looked fine. so i took both of their word(because they are the professionals) but when i got home i realized they weren’t lined up at all. this is on me for not realizing till later but i am still frustrated because not one but TWO PROFESSIONAL tattooers couldn’t even line up a nose piercing. not only that no masks anywhere and there was someone being tattooed who was coughing like crazy. wouldn’t have been a big deal if we weren’t in the middle of a pandemic.

I got my daiths pierced the other day and it was an awesome experience. It’s been a while since I’d been pierced and Jay made sure I was comfortable. It was way less painful then I thought it would be and I love my new piercing.

Got a nose piercing here a few months back and they were very quick, cheap, chill and profession about the experience. they give you the option of a stud or a ring, which i don’t think is very common (at least from people ive known). the needle was brand new (the lady opened the needle out of a plastic wrapper right in front of me) and the lady sterilised it as well as the place where i got the piercing. after it was done, they also gave me a paper of what to do for aftercare to ensure my piercing doesn’t get infected. as long as you follow the instructions, your piercing shouldn’t get infected.also!! the bead of my nose ring fell out and they replaced it for free.all in all, great place to get a piercing. i recommend them to everyone who wants their first piercing, or to get another elsewhere.

Me and my friends have loved Ikon for years and have gotten countless tattoos and piercings from here. We got our first tattoos at the old downtown location. Yet when we pulled up tonight for a piercing not a single person in the building was wearing a mask. A disregard for public health overrides any good work they can do, improve your mask policy and overall social responsibility Ikon!

Such a helpful place. I walked in with a double tragus piercing that has had some trouble healing (piercing bumps) and also came to a conclusion that I was allergic to the initial bars that were used for my ears. They changed out the bars at no cost and gave me some tips on how to treat it. Very welcoming place.

I loved everything about my experience. The shop is well maintained, Jay was super fabulous, very professional, very sanitary, had a fabulous man bun, very friendly, just an outstanding experience. I also want to add that I got the daith piercings and I felt immediate relief of pressure throughout my jaw and head.

Got my helix piercing and like it so far, but the girl who pierced was rude and sarcastic when I asked questions regarding sanitizing the jewelry that was going into my ear. Treated me as if I was clueless and irrelevant rather than a paying customer that wants to make sure my piercing is safe and clean. Would not go back.

I had my nose pierced by a different shop, but I figured this would be a good spot to get my nose piercing changed from a stud to a hoop. The guy changing it told me that my nose piercing was too high up for their regular hoops. It felt like it was being repierced all over again. I went to another artist a few months later (today) and he told me the piercer should not have told me that and that I should have walked out. I was then told that from my 20 gauge piercing, the person at Ikon put a 16 gauge piercing into my nose. No wonder it hurt like hell! It was super infected, there was scaring, my nose was inflammed today when I had it changed again. It was awful, so now I have to treat it like another new piercing because the hole is so big around the regular stud I had him put in. On top of that, both my roommate and I got our helix piercings done there (before any problems were started or known). Hers became inflammed and never healed. It looked infected, red, swelled up, the whole works. I thought mine was fine because I wasnt having those problems. Well up to date mine still hasnt healed and it has been 6 months since I got it done. We have tried to go back and tell them it isnt healing and there was something wrong, but they told us over and over that we just needed to soak our ears longer. Never get your piercings here. Ever.

I have had a cover-up and a new tattoo done by Eric and they are amazing. Not only is the work amazing but I always go home having had a great time, laughing a lot. Eric and Jordan are great guys and I would recommend them to anyone! I love that I dont have to work overtime for months to afford a tattoo by going to Ikon. If you are going for your first tattoo or going for your 100th - Eric and Jordan are the guys to see!

I went in just to get a new nose ring and the guy that was there spent a good 20 minutes helping me switch it out. He was very patient even when there were other clients waiting. I will definitely go back for other piercings!

Honestly one of the most laid back tattooing experiences in boise. Staff wasnt over the top about everything and they have a great selection of music playing. They priced my girlfriend and i at a very affordable price point too.

Super nice and explained everything before they pierced my ear. Felt super clean and safe.

I went in for a small finger tattoo with my best friend.The guy warned up about the technique used in order to blow out the ink. I consulted another tattoo parlor as both of our fingers are blue from the blown out ink and apparently its not supposed to look like that and the blow out was unnecessary in the first place. A picture was taken for this other parlors book of shame and the likelihood of it returning to normal color is slim. So I would not recommend going here, although Ink Vision does a great job!

I got my tattoo fixed here with Eriks apprentice and he did a great job. I love my tattoo now!! They are very nice, I will refer my friends here for sure and be back myself!!

It was awesome we called got right in got my nose pierced with no problem.... My sister had a little bit of problem but got hers done and even gave hers free cause it caused a little more trouble for her.... But they were kind and proficient get it done and will recommend anyone.... I love the atmosphere and there place was very clean....

Quick, clean, professional, wonderful prices!UNTIL later...When you find out the jewelry was cheap and too short and ya live too far from Boise (thats definatly my fault) to get help so you have to take your piercing out because its embedding into your lip so badly the 3rd day in that chunks are coming out 😐 aaaaand then they dont return ya calls (honestly I think they were just way too busy)Update 😐I took 3 people into Ikon for piercings. We followed aftercare instructions religiously. Not a one of our piercings healed correctly, I nearly had to have the e.r remove my embedded labret stud. They were kind enough to offer us to travel the 3 hours back to them to make it right. Which is all fine and good.... except 2 things..1. When we arrived and set down, the The BIG guy (Im unaware of his name) sent a group of gals to the bar downstairs with a 64oz growler.2. Drinks were being passed around for those waiting to get a tattoo. Jake was offering drinks off his 32oz bottle of God only knows what.3. And And the artists were drinking while they wete working!!!Drinking before and after getting a tattoo is a no-no. Alcohol thins your blood, which means excess bleeding. When you bleed more than normal, it can cause visibility issues for the artist, potentially compromising the quality of the design. Excess bleeding can also thin the ink.Not to mention an artist drinking!? WTF?! Do you want to trust someone whos drinking to get your tattoo or other body art correct (let alone trust that the artist is following safety procedures so you dont get an infection of something horrible like MRSA or Hepatitis) while theyre getting intoxicated?Hell, I dont even drink too much caffeine or take ibuprofen before, let alone drowning a cold one.Your health is your own responsibility. But artists should respect the well being of their clients far more than this. I dont care how many positive reviews there are, this isnt ok.

The staff was great and very patient while they pierced my daughters ears. She was extremely nervous but the staff was very courteous and polite to her.

Went in to get my nose pierced dude had a lot of trouble because i have thick nostrils i guess. Ended up with my nose pierced it two places like no joke i could get a stud through the first hole he made even tho he couldnt get the the stud through the first hole and said let me just get this through here and pierced my nose it a totally different spot. so i got my nose pierced and scar on my nose GREAT thanks IKON TATTOO

Got my nose pierced in March went back a couple months later with some problems and they offered to re pierce it after it healed and I went back and they did just that. Josh was awesome!

The staff were awesome. Fixed one of my piercings that a previous shop messed up. Great people. Highly recommend!

Had a side lip, asked for a additional side to make snakes, as well as a madusa. Janelle did amazing, lined everything up idealy & did it quickly I was in & out in no time. Amazing environment & nice people

The store could of gotten five stars, in a heartbeat.. it hits most of what I call a perfect store, I might seam a lil picky here, many may disagree.., jewelery cases could use some TLC.. plus most product are low or out not available-in shop (would of spent more money, if they would of had more products avable), also selection of style of products seam extremely low., Now if you go to other shops/stores, most are the same or worse, some stores tell you, to pay for the product an they will order it an you could be waiting 2wks to 6months if the product is available or in stock, most shops loose customers for that reason IMO, tho most customers will work with shops that have the basic products if they are available in store.
