Got two tattoos by Jordan at the Boise Tat Convention. I talked to him at 8pm when they closed at 10pm and he hooked me up. Very reasonable price, had me done under the 2hrs from template to wrap-up. Most importantly, both tattoos turned out FLAWLESSLY! Im particularly impressed with my Converse, the stitching and Chuck Taylor script is absolutely perfect, shapes are exact, and the colors are exactly what I wanted.Mad props to Jordan Phillips at Boise Tattoo Company for the beautiful work!!

First and foremost.... dont judge a book by its cover. The outside needs a little TLC but the inside is like walking into a the Taj Mahal! (I was totally shocked and mindblown)The guys and girls at the shop are absolutely amazing. They are will to help you make your designs come to life. Jonny is my artist but I would feel comfortable recommending any of the guys there after spending time in there getting my leg done and see what they can do. I absolutely love this place, I got my first piercing here a while ago(a lip piercing) and for some reason I never left a review. Its been about 3 years since then, the piercing is absolutely beautiful and I still remember the whole experience.The guy, his name was Jordan, gave me a whole motivational talk when I was nervous and hesitating. To this day I still laugh thinking about it because him aggressively hyping me up was probably the only reason I went through with it, but Im glad he did because my piercing is one of my favorite things now. If I ever get another piercing or if I get a tattoo, Im definitely coming back here.

I have been tattooed by Jonny, Jordan, and Sean! Their pieces are my most loved and cherished (and my most complimented when seen out in the wild!) They make it a point to ensure the experience is positive and comfortable for the clients. The atmosphere is beautiful and eye catching, filled with jokes, sweet art, and good tunes. Best tattoo parlor in the valley in my opinion. Jordan did an incredible Nordic knot work sleeve that is incredible. He took a couple design elements I suggested and created something amazing. The photos aren’t the finished piece but will give you an idea. If you’re thinking about getting your first tattoo or your fiftieth, you can’t go wrong here.

Jordan is arguably the best tattoo artist in the valley. His lines are crispy and clean. I’ve been to a few other tattoo shops and nothing compares to his work. 1,000% trust him. His employees are also fantastic and if Jordan trusts them, so do I. I’ve been going for about 5 years to him and I’ve seen him grow as an artist. He’s always improving and clearly loves what he does.. also he’s got a great voice.. trust me.. he’s gunna sing.

The shop is beautiful inside. My cousin and I went in as walk-ins on a Saturday and we were seen within 20 minutes of arriving. The workers there are super friendly, inviting, and listened to what it was my cousin and I were wanting in our tattoos. We got personal, sentimental tattoos and Jordan exceeded our expectations and did an amazing job. I won’t get a tattoo anywhere else in Boise!

I was a walk in and brought two other friends, and we were greeted with such a warm atmosphere. The decor created a fantastic ambiance (and there was the sweetest dog!!) and I was charged an incredibly reasonable price for a tattoo that I absolutely love. Everyone made me feel super welcome and safe. 10/10 recommend :)

Shawn Phelps did a poor job on my tattoo. Very crooked lines on a very easy tattoo. I went to another shop and they tried to fix the crooked lines as best as possible. All the artist on this shop were shocked on how bad the tattoo was. After this, I heard of at least 3 people that were very unhappy with Shawn. He’s NOT the nicest guy either. Feels like he was mad and he was doing me a favor by being there. I cannot recommend him.

My friend and I had a girls weekend and decided tattoos! We walked in to a very welcoming crew who talked to us about what we wanted and let us know a time that was available. We came back at the time we were told and the artist, Sean came over to chat about what we both wanted. He was so creative in what my overall look was. He brought more to my tattoo than I could have imagined. Plus, he was hilarious and very personable. We enjoyed our whole experience there. And will definitely be using Sean again when we go back to Boise. Thank you Sean!.

Sean is AWESOME. He’s kind, easy to talk to, and just seems to love his job. I’ve gotten a few simple tattoos from him and it’s been a great experience. I told him what I wanted and he delivered, also making subtle suggestions that improved on what I wanted. He’s a great artist and I’m hoping to get a larger piece by him soon. He makes me feel comfortable, is clean and efficient. I’m looking forward to coming back and getting a cool design by him!

My friends and I went here to get tattoos for our girls trip! We walked in and luckily they were able to get us in right away. SO friendly, clean, and professional. The tattoos turned out great, we are in love with them! Jordan was an excellent tattoo artist, would highly recommend.

My husband and I each got a tattoo by Jordan and our experience was amazing!! The shop was extremely clean and inviting. It was both of our first tattoos and Jordan made us feel very comfortable and eased our nerves. He altered our sketch until it was EXACTLY what we wanted. He talks to you while giving you the tattoo and makes it go by fast and easy. Jordan has 10+ years of experience and really took the time to explain after care to us. I don’t even know where to begin! Every experience is amazing! From setting my appointment to talking to Jonny about what I wanted and then actually getting the tattoo. It is always a pleasure working with him, and seeing everyone there. The tattoo work that they complete is absolutely beautiful! Every client that was in during my session (and there were multiple because I had a long session) left with a huge smile on their face and 100% satisfied! Definitely my go to shop.

I have been going to Boise Tattoo Company for my tattoos since they opened in March 2019! Vinnie has always followed through and exceeded my expectations with such amazing work. The colors in my leg tattoos are still as bright as they were in the beginning. The atmosphere in the shop is so inviting and comfortable. Ive never had a bad experience. I will absolutely be going back for more.

I was trying to find a walk-in tattoo shop since I don’t have a lot of time off or know when I will have those days off, so I googled Boise Tattoo and decided that was the one. Jonny provides a fun as well as caring environment I got two tattoos and he was sure to make sure I was holding up okay. The tattoos turned out amazing and I’m in love with them more than anything. I have been recommending to all my family and friends who want a tattoo.

This establishment is awesome. Went here for the first time to get a bridge piercing, will definitely be coming back. I got my piercings here. Very professional. Very sanitary. Extremely talented people. My piercings came out straight, even, and were completely symmetrical. My biggest fear prior to this, was to have crooked piercings. Austin did mine and he was amazing and gave me all of the information i needed to keep my piercings clean and explained the healing process extensively to ensure they do not get infected and that they heal correctly. I am so happy with mine and highly recommend this place to everyone. Austin is my go to piercing artist now.

Honestly Im thoroughly impressed on every aspect. The staff is super nice and funny, they put great pride and effort in their work, and they have great customer service.I lost the backing of my piercing which led to my ear healing over, and I was able to get a new earring and repierce for free. These guys are phenomenal. Highly recommend.

Johnny did my first tattoo almost a year ago and Ive been coming back to him for all my tattoos ever sense! Now I have 7 tattoos! All of them have extremely clean and beautiful lines. Got tatted by Johnny last night and I am OBSESSED with my new ink! I see that there is a review regarding the cleanliness of the shop, but Id have to disagree. Johnny was super professional, the station was clean and I saw him wipe it down after I was finished. He wore gloves and the needles looked sterile. Great vibes, good music, and a sick wardrobe to Narnia in the back haha.

Johnny pierced my best friends nose as a Christmas present from me and it was so quick swift and easy she couldn’t believe she had waited that long. The vibe is very laid back and chill. Pricing for piercing was $45 WITH jewelry so VERY reasonable. Would definitely recommend!!

I went in for a walk in and got tattooed by Jonny the same day. Everyone was really friendly, the atmosphere was laid back while still being professional. The tattoo came out even better than I dreamed of. He did it a little larger than I was imagining so that down the road youll still be able to tell what it is (theyre symbols on my fingers) which I really appreciate. He also talked to me about aftercare and healing and gave me his card in case I have any questions. Clean lines, took the time to get everything straight and centered, I would definitely go back.

Jordan did a portrait of my sister. The picture wasnt great and was old. It was a pic of pic of a 25 year old portrait. He did an AWESOME job. I see not only her likeness, but i can see my mom and her daughter in it too. Highly recommended. Great conversation, great environment, and really good work!!

If you’re going to get a tattoo GET IT HERE. I had Jonny do my tattoo and he nailed it. Definitely coming here for all my pieces and piercings. Location is easy to find and It’s a really nice inside. They had A nice open space, good music, and everyone there was super chill and nice.

Took my daughter in for a nose piercing and a ear piercing. Jordan did a great job taking his time to mark location for piercing, my daughter loved exactly where he had everything. Everything came out perfect and most of all my daughter is very happy. Dont let the outside of the shop fool you when you walk inside its a whole different place. Really nice shop and atmosphere!!

Its also the chillest shop to be in while youre getting tatted. Everyone is super friendly, they play rad music and they arent going to bullsh*t you about their work. I love the aesthetic of this shop. The artists are all great which is a rarity these days. Most places seem to have one shining star keeping others afloat. Anyway, I came in for a walk in kind of late in the evening and they were still able to squeeze me in. Not many places with good artists can do that lately. The piece I got exceeded my expectations. Ill come back and post a healed picture of it in a few months.

They weren’t the most sanitary and didn’t clean me and my friends new piercings after giving us the piercings. didnt ID us either or look at our papers which i should have seen as a red flag. no care sheets for piercings and lowkey uncomfortable environment. i don’t know if i’m just high maintenance from other shops i’ve been too but this one felt very unprofessional in the piercing area.

I was referred to Jonny + Jordan at Boise Tattoo Company by Kendall Vader, for a v specific handwriting/calligraphy spine line. Jonny ended up being the one who answered the phone, and was able to book me that same evening. Jonny was super professional, responsive, and had a good sense of humor which is helpful because no matter what I always get anxious with tattoos. Most importantly though, I am very pleased with the way my piece turned out. I will definitely be referring people to him that want fine line script, as well as flowers - since he specializes in both. This is a new(er) shop - they said they opened that location about 12 weeks ago -- but these are not new artists.I have a feeling that kind of availability with the owners wont last long.

Highly recommend Jonny Phillips at boise tattoo company. He did great work on my tattoo. It ended up coming out better than the picture I had for him. It came out better than I could have hoped for. He has incredibly straight lines and makes sharp points. On top of that he works really fast, he finished with such speed and precision it blew my mind.

10/10 will go back for more ink in the future. Jordan helped me get just what I wanted. Super clean establishment and amazing people!

Jonny answered my messages quickly and then got me booked in after showing me some ideas. Love the tattoo and liked being able to see different options as to what we could do with it. Vinnie was awesome. He designed the tattoo in about ten minutes and prints it out so you can see the final product! I was super scared to get my first tattoo but Im in love with it!

I was absolutely in love with the tattoo vinnie gave me untill it was healing. Half the tattoo had really deep lines that healed horrible and ink leaked out. I tried messaging him about getting a touch up which he said he would do but that was after saying that nothing was wrong with it after asking for pictures and that it was fine. He seemed almost offended and gave off a type of annoyed/insulted demeanor about asking for the touch up. He also didnt give advice on what to do about the ink constantly leaking out besides keep it clean. Due to this interaction it made me uncomfortable and unwilling to go back. I got the healed tattoo checked out at another shop in which they mentioned how deep half the tattoo was and how raised and scared those lines were and how basically all the ink of 5 plus lines completley came out. Id rather pay 80 bucks at a new shop to get it fixed then go back to him with how he made me feel when discussing the touch up. But besides that I loved the first tattoo he gave me. He has great work and Id recommend him if how he talked about the issues I was having in a more nice and respectful manor. But it is a Great environment and good people otherwise. Sad I dont feel comfortable enough to go back and finish the sleeve we discussed.

I have gotten two tattoos done by Jonny! Hes so nice and does great! I would suggest him to anyone asking for suggestions. He is great with pricing to. I dont go to any other tattoo artist except Jonny

I came in about a week ago. I was a walk in but I’m not sure what is happening to my tattoo. I loved how it looked initially but it looks like the ink is bleeding outside the lines that were initially there. I have had multiple tattoos and have never had this happen before. Any ideas on what to do? I keep them moisturized and very clean. Please help!!(Tried to attach pictures but I can’t)

I had an amazing experience, especially with it being my first tattoo. Everyone was chill and it had a very homey feeling. I highly recommend this place if youre getting your first tattoo or just looking for a relaxed place to get some awesome tattoo work done.

Jonny and Jordan are both very talented artists and genuinely good people. Unlike a lot of shops, they dont make you feel like you dont belong there. Its the only shop Ill go to in Boise.

Had a quick tattoo done by Johnny on my forearm, recently. So in love with this shop, amazing work and a great atmosphere! I will definitely be going back sometime soon to get more work done.

Was pricier than we expected for four very very small tattoos, about 20 minutes in and out… $350. We felt rushed and the quality was mediocre.The vibes were cool.

I called to ask about walk-ins and was told it was first come first serve—totally not a big deal and I was fine taking my chances. I pulled up to the shop to see their waiting area was completely full of people not wearing masks, no social distancing and even the employees didn’t have masks on. After 10 months of being in a pandemic you would think businesses would require and wear masks. :(

I came in as a walk in and Jordan had great advice for how to fit my tattoo in a cohesive way with my older tattoos and also gave me the most BEAUTIFUL tattoo. I cannot recommend this shop enough!!!

I like my tattoo I got recently but the artist was kind of rude at first and no one wore masks. and they liked an ig comment saying covid is fake?? super um weird but anyway. tell that to my deceased grandpa. at least my tattoo is nice so i’m giving 2 stars for that

My son went in for a tattoo, the tattoo artist was Jordan, he was super nice and cleanliness wasnt an issue... in the beginning. Very heavy handed which is fine, each artist is different and thats all good, when it was his girlfriends turn he actually blew on the needle with his mouth to get the ink off the end of the needle. BLEW WITH HIS MOUTH. Millions of germs live in your mouth if you werent aware. Never have seen that anywhere else. Pretty disgusting. Of course they didnt say anything during the time they were there, Last thing you want is an unfinished peice because you ask Uhhh you gonna change that needle?

Jonny’s done all but one of my tattoos, and I recommend him to every single person that asks about tattoos. The work speaks for itself too! Thanks Jonny!

Did a walk in. Artist didn’t use gloves while setting up station. Didn’t sanitize between clients. Didn’t wash his hands. Didn’t wear a mask during pandemic. Used a lighter on the needle. Front desk person was sitting towards the back of the room taking shots of Wild Turkey while complaining about walk-in clients, which we were.

Walked in and Sean Phelps had an opening. Drew a tattoo up quick and made it look good. Cant wait to go back.

They dont allow scheduling appointments by phone, only in person. Once I told them I live 3 hours away and wanted to schedule an appointment for later in the month they still didnt seem to want my business. I had to call them again for them to tell me why. Was not impressed with the customer service.
