Born Weird Walk in Tattoo and Piercing

Today I had a cover up session with Mike. He took a tattoo nightmare and turned it into a beautiful piece of art! The time he took to make sure I was happy with size, placement, and detail made me beyond comfortable and he did an amazing job!Not only have I been thrilled with the tattoos… the vibe of Born Weird Tattoos has also been one of a kind. From the owner, Kendall, down to the artists and the piercers- 10/10!

We walked in yesterday and John was available to help my 9 year old kid change out her jewelry that I could not get out. I wanted her to continue to have a largely pain-free and professional experience with her first piercings and she did! John was kind, professional and very sweet and complemented her new “fancy” hoops her Grandmother had given her. Kid was thrilled and thought John was the coolest.

Getting my first tattoo was such an invigorating, exhilarating, and revitalizing experience! I thoroughly enjoyed the entire process from start to finish. I am grateful I had the pleasure of working with such an inspiring artist. Billie’s attention to detail and artistic ability are next to none. Thank you for your dedication to your craft, creativity, and artistic inspiration. I am super excited to continue working with Billie and finishing my next pieces. I visited Born Weird yesterday to get my septum pierced by John, and I must say, it was one of the best piercing experiences Ive ever had. From the moment I walked in, I was impressed by the welcoming atmosphere and the cleanliness of the studio. You can tell that the staff at Born Weird clearly prioritize hygiene and comfort, which immediately put me at ease. John, the guy who did my piercing, was amazing. He was so nice and gentle throughout the whole thing. He was amazing at keeping the mood light and he explained everything really well and made sure I felt comfortable the whole time. It was obvious he knew his stuff, and they use really good medical equipment there, which made me feel quite safe. He listened attentively to my preferences and offered valuable advice on aftercare. Its clear that he genuinely cares about his clients well-being and satisfaction. I would highly recommend Born Weird for anyone looking to get a piercing. Whether its your first time or youre a piercing enthusiast, youll be in good hands here. Im already thinking about future piercings, and Born Weird will definitely be my go-to place.

I had a lovely experience as a walk in to get some jewelry changed. After visiting two other shops in the area and calling a few, no one had the jewelry I was needing or the piercers in yet. I called in to Born Weird to find they carried the jewelry I was needing. The gal who helped me (I know she told me her name I just forgot it because I am not great with names) was really wonderful and had such a nice easy going personality. The shop was really comfortable and carried a beautiful array of jewelry. I will be coming back in the future. Thank you for being open and having such wonderful staff and jewelry. ❤️

Obsessed with my tattoo! Me and my best friend got matching-ish tattoos and Billie crushed it! We came in and didn’t really know what we wanted, and Billie talked it out with us and helped us come up with a beautiful design. He made us feel so comfortable, and did a phenomenal job on our tattoos. Thank you so so much! Highly recommend!

I got a Japanese style sleeve here from Mike and Im absolutely stoked with the results. The whole experience was great. Mike put together an awesome design for me with all of the aspects I was looking for, worked with me on some challenging color choices, and connected it seamlessly into some existing pieces I already had. Im super happy with my sleeve, and Im definitely tempted to come back for the other arm. Whole heartedly recommend 👍

Wow wow wow where do I start?!I got a nose piercing done today by Tia! I walked in being extremely nervous, I knew it’s a piercing I wanted, but needles don’t make me feel very comfy.Tia was very happy to explain everything to me in such a positive way!! My favorite part is where she explained the metal tube going in my nose was to “protect her from piercing things I didn’t want pierced.” 😆 Also, she didn’t let me see the needle, (thank god because I might have not done it hehe)Tia was so wonderful at preparing me for what was going to happen. I genuinely don’t think I could’ve asked for a better first experience!! Thank you, thank you so much Tia, I hope you get the recognition you deserve because you are a wonderful at your job. It’s a real shame I’m not from the area or I would be back when I’m ready for more. Although I’d consider making the trip. ;)

We walked into this place just to check it out and ended up getting two AWESOME tattoos! The woman at the front desk was friendly and patient as we picked through the flash books given. Our artist was friendly and flexible enough to let me Google the tank girl tattoo I was after and was done in a couple hours from start to finish!! VERY pleased with the end result and entire experience!

The stores vibes are amazing! I felt very safe and listened too. Im always nervous about new things, but the staff was incredibly patient and helpful! Ive always wanted to get body mods, but Im terrified of needles. John was my piercer and they put me at ease saying that I wasnt the first person to have that fear but want accessories. The piercing set-up was very clean and organized. Fast and amazing customer service even as a walk-in. THANK YOU!!!!

Though this was my first time at born weird, it was not my first time getting amazing artwork from Billie.From the moment my mom and I walked in the door it was a friendly light environment with smiling faces everywhere around to greet us. We had a few questions that were answered knowledgeable and eagerly. The atmosphere really set you up for a good vibe and a good tattoo.Billie also is very friendly and has always worked with me on ideas and designs.I couldnt have entered a better shop with better artists!Thank you again born weird, amazing experience all around!!!!

First time going here, bring that it was Friday the 13th I had to wait a couple hours, but the work was very well done, and the artist was Rikki.

I had the best experience with Cody. Not only is he an amazing artist - he’s a great dude. When you’re spending near 40 hours in a chair that helps time go by. I cannot overstate how happy I am with the job he did. He was a perfectionist and we did not move forward with something until it was just right. He was super open to ideas and brought many awesome ones to the table that deviated from the original plan. If you’re looking for black and grey work - or anything with a ton of detail - he is the best around. You know you found a great artist when other artists are hyped on his work. Thank you so much brother for lending your talents to a permanent piece on my body. Couldn’t be happier with the outcome.

I’ve been getting tattoos for a couple months now, and man this shop, Mike and GONZY have done my first 3 and every single time this shop and it’s artists have gone above and beyond with the whole experience and vibe and the owner Kendall was a amazing dude to talk with about anything and everything. Gonzy and Mike never make the tattoo experience anything less than awesome

John did my nose piercing and was phenomenal. He explained the entire process beforehand and then again during the steps so I had clear expectations. All equipment was sterile processed and the entire process was quick and as painless as possible. This is my 9th piercing and my best experience by far.

Cant recommend this shop enough, they are awesome! Been going here for a couple years and they never disappoint.Got a tattoo from Billie Dunaway recently and Im very impressed with the results. He did an awesome job and was a pleasure to work with. Ive received a ton of compliments on the new tattoo and on one occasion, while at a vet clinic, had 5 different people poke their head through the door because they had to see the tattoo. I will definitely be hitting up Billie in the future to get more work done.

I think the most important thing to note is that our tattoos are really well done. Born Weird really likes to advertise walk-ins.Even the email I sent beforehand recommended we just walk in considering our tattoos were small. So it was confusing to walk in and feel like we were a burden. John was so rude and it really brought down the excitement for me and my friend. By the looks of other reviews it appears John has an attitude problem. So I guess just expect that when you go in since nothing has been done about it. It was such a bummer, so much so that we wouldnt recommend or go back because it was that uncomfortable for us. But again, if anything went right the most important thing (the tattoo) did with Rikki.Response to owner: you can “respectfully” disagree with our experience all you want but that doesn’t make it untrue. I do think it’s interesting you left out the comment John made to my friend about being a coward. I also think it’s interesting that you think seeing surveillance as a bias party equates to understanding how we felt and the tone and attitude of John. He definitely didn’t “welcome us in” as you described. If you’re unable to handle feedback then that’s okay with me, your response and extreme effort and the length to go out of your way to discredit two women’s experience is telling and visible for others to see. I came in for a septum piercing and John was absolutely amazing. I’ve been wanting one for a while but was so nervous and he made it such a safe place explaining all steps as he went and making sure I was completely comfortable throughout the whole process. Definitely recommend!!

First off super rad tattoo spot. My artist was Billie I walked in and asked for an antler/mountain themed tattoo. The dude draws up an absolute masterpiece in like 10 minutes. He also did a great job asking for my opinion while tatting me. Dude can also hold a conversation and is super down to earth. I highly recommend Billie if you are interested in getting any sort of tattoo involving nature/realistic pieces.

I followed Rikki here from another shop because she’s fantastic! She has done both of my hand tattoos and her work speaks for itself. Rikki’s work is solid and her pricing is reasonable. I can’t wait to come back and finish my sleeves with her. The shop itself is also awesome. The vibe is very laid back and the artists are clean and professional. It’s nice to come to a shop where you are actually greeted and helped when you walk in the door. 10 out of 10 recommend!!

Loved the vibe, everyone is friendly. I had a specific idea, a good amount of artists heard it and the perfect one took it on! Gonzy is amazing, a great artist, and the nicest dude. Madi is AMAZING!! Went to her for a botanical vegetable calf sleeve and couldn’t be happier. Her fine line black and gray is absolutely beautiful - shading is top notch with her style! Definitely have more pieces in mind with her aesthetic. Shop has good vibes all around with everyone there (and tunes!!) and awesome decor (I’m jealous of their restroom…if you know you know). Looking forward to getting more work done in their new shop when it’s ready!

They are awesome! Love how they designed the inside. Tia did a great job piercing my nostril, and John did a great job piercing my husband septum. We spoke to Brian about some tattoos and was extremely impressed with his knowledge and courtesy to take the time to talk with us. We are definitely going to use them again and recommend them to everyone we know! Born Weird is fantastic. Plus, I was born weird, so it calls to me. 🤣🤣

Gonzy was great to work with. Came up with a beautiful design and altered it once he placed it so it would flow better on my foot. I’ve had two tattoos from him and will continue to go back. I trust him and he does a fantastic job! Highly recommend.

Ive gotten work done by Madi and Jordan and I couldnt be happier. The tattoos are so beautifully done and the whole experience was fantastic. Ill definitely recommend to anyone looking for tattoo work.

Jordan is my absolute favorite and she does amazing work. I have a full sleeve that she did and it was my first tattoo ever! She has such a light hand and she works quick, making the whole experience comfortable and efficient. I can’t wait until I can get back in one day when I decide what I want next. I have friends who have gotten tattooed by Kendall and Mike and love their work. Everyone is friendly in the shop, and it is very clean and very professional. I 10/10 recommend this shop to everyone, however you may have to be patient because good work takes time and a waiting list 😉 Can’t wait for the next time Jordan’s books open! Those who are lucky enough to get in will not regret the wait!

John gave me a septum, and rikki gave me 2 tattoos, everyone there is so kind and so sweet! both of them explained the process i would be going through and we’re very helpful explaining everything to my for my first tattoo and professional piercing. i will NEVER go to a different shop in my life

I get tattooed by Gonzy & I literally send EVERYONE to him. He does the job quickly and is always down to make you smile. His line work is CLEAN and he is not heavy handed. He kills it and I cannot recommend him enough! 🤘 he’s got a client for life

Went in for the first time to get some ornamental tats on my hand/fingers. Gonzy crushed it!!! I had something of a (bad) design. Gonzy advised that it wouldn’t look good, so I took him up on his offer to draw up a new design. I love what he came up with and am so happy with how it turned out. I have gotten sooooo many compliments!!! Thanks, Gonzy! See you soon!!!

I love every tattoo Ive gotten from Born Weird. All of the tattoo artists Ive seen are so supportive of my ideas. Madi always hyped me up and I always leave in love with my new tattoos. She did such a great job on my cowboy prairie dog!

Got my nose pierced with Tia and it was an amazing experience! She was fun to chat with, and the piercing was quick and didn’t even hurt. Highly recommend!

Every experience that I have had at Born Weird Tattoo and Piercing has left me so insanely happy! I’ve been to a handful of different shops so far but I am hoping to be able to continue to come here forever. More specifically, I hope to be able to continue to get work done by Madi forever! She is incredible!!! So talented, quick, and kind that sitting with her feels more like hanging out with a friend for a few hours. I get soooo many compliments on what she’s done. The shop is clean, everyone is nice, and Madi (and others of course!) is so talented. I’d be willing to deal with a pretty uncomfortable shop experience for this quality of work but it’s even better that I don’t have to because every experience has been great! 12/10 for Madi!

Went in last week with my fiancé to hang out while he got a tattoo, his artist was Mike W. Awesome guy! Mike did an absolutely AMAZING job on this tattoo- In my honest opinion I feel like he should charge more, but we’re happy with his prices! He spent more time than we had planned (especially for such a last minute booking) , but it really shows the quality work and that he loves what he does. We will definitely be back and we’ll be recommending all of our friends and family to him, and the other artists at the shop! Thanks again Mike- we’ll probably see you soon!

I don’t even know where to start! I met Mike back in August at the tattoo convention and we talked about a completely separate tattoo on my sternum. I mentioned I had an old OLD dragon tattoo that’s been needing work done for 15 years. We started with a consultation and set up several appointments. Fast forward to February 13. We finished my final session and my back is finally complete. I cannot rave brag enough about his professionalism and TALENT. Mike Did an incredible job! I cannot say enough incredible things about Born Weird Tattoo. Madi was my artist and I’m so glad that she was. This was my first tattoo and I was so nervous, but she put me at ease right away. She was more than willing to work with any adjustments I wanted done to my tattoo, as well as suggested what she thought would work and look best. My session with her was very professional, comfortable, and even fun. I had the pleasure of meeting some of the other artists in the shop who are all so unique and incredible in their own ways. I will definitely be coming back in the future for any other tattoos I want to get. I absolutely recommend this place to anyone who wants their tattoo to come out better than they could have ever imagined.

It was a great place! I am very scared with needles normally but my peircer made me feel very comfortable and it went smoothly. I got my industrials, upper lobes, and tounge done. They make sure you like where the peircings are placed and they are so quick. They discussed aftercare very well! Would highly recommend getting peircings here!

Need to get some replacement jewelry and thought I would go here to find a new one. Staff were very friendly and helpful. And the shop is filled with also sorts of interesting art and an interesting collection of oddities to check out while you wait.

Fantastic experience with John. He explains what he is doing while piercing your body. The outside of Born Weird is a trip. In addition, the inside is very cool with good beats and vibes. Definitely will go there for my first tattoo.

I had a wonderful experience at Born Weird and they made my first tattoo special. Cody Cardinet did my tattoo and he was very sweet and understanding during the entire process. I was able to take breaks when needed and he did not mind my nervous babbling (lol). Im very happy with my tattoo and the experience.Also, everyone there was just very chill and friendly, I never felt uncomfortable. Overall, I just highly recommend it in every manner.Side note: the picture I attached is my tattoo when it was fresh.

I cant say anything about the tattoos, but they are awesome when it comes to ear piercings. My daughter loves the unique backings on their earrings with posts. They are flat, not curly like traditional earring backs.

Walked in to get my eyebrow pierced and had an awesome experience. John was an incredibly professional and personable piercer. he told me what to expect every step of the way, his station was very hygienic, he was funny, and he gave me some solid movie recs. also, this place is just cool. highly recommend!

Not only have I received EXCEPTIONAL work done by this artist, he was one of the friendliest, creative, funniest and kindest artists I’ve ever been to. Gonzy worked very well with the idea I gave him for pieces that mean so much, he made them better. Best artist in Boise!!All of the floral pieces and butterfly on the left arm are all of his work.

Billy is the man. I was super nervous about getting my first portrait but after seeing Billy’s portfolio at a tattoo convention I felt pretty confident! I had him do a Bill the Butcher portrait on my upper arm. He took his time with placement and didn’t miss a detail. Sat for 6 hoursish and I didn’t get that “raw” skin feeling just a straight up technician!! Im all healed up and have zero scarring or anything. Super clean operator and a super clean tattoo. Honestly I sat there and studied a book for a test I had coming up while he did his thing and we chatted it up some as well. Way cool guy and undoubtedly an artist of the trade.

Madi is amazing! She nailed the design, knocked it out quickly and painlessly, communicated from start to finish so there were no surprises and I knew exactly what to expect. Madi is very easy to hang out with, I was super comfortable the whole time, which I cant say about other tattoo shops Ive been to before, and thats important! I cant recommend her enough, if I could give her 10 stars I would! I send everyone I talk to her way. My moth tattoo has healed perfectly, and Im stoked to come back for more.

Got a super cool tattoo with my wife today at Born Weird. Super cool little shop. The experience, cleanliness, price, and work, was awesome. Jordan did an excellent job on our couples tattoo. She was super nice and checked in with me cause im a big baby 😅. She was very detailed, has a soft touch and her line work and shading are amazing. The tattoo took less time than I thought it would as well, which was very cool since I love art but not pain. Gonzy is one of the best tattoo artists I’ve had work on me! The Medusa he did on my arm is my favorite piece I’ve ever had done and I get compliments on it all the time. Billie did a fantastic job! I had an old tattoo I wanted covered up, and he worked with me to not only cover it up, but create a true piece of art. I got my Medusa piercing by John & he was absolutely amazing! Very thorough & educational, he was also laidback which made me feel more comfortable with the nerves you tend to have while getting pierced. He had a good sense of humor, worked quickly, & gave me a great experience overall.

10/10 recommend this shop in general. But lets talk about Madi Kring! Was she had crafted from the fine line tattoo Gods? Possibly. She has done two of my pieces on my arm. Both are fine line and stunning. She really listens and brings your vision to life. She is an advocate for her clients to speak up if they want thing changed, which is greatly appreciated. She makes you feel really comfortable through the whole process. Will forever go to her. Can not recommend her enough.I also have to give another recommendation for John who is the head piecer. I have taken both of my nieces to him from piercings. I felt so much confidence in him. He listens and is there to get you what you want. And under is serious exterior, I do believe he is a silly little goose. 🫶🏻 No one else I would recommend for piercings!

I got my shoulder and upper arm done by Madi and I couldn’t love it more! Her florals are stunning and the birds she tattooed look amazing. I get so many compliments from people. She is also very kind and easy to collaborate with. I can’t wait to get more done by her.

Shout out to Mike Wiensz for the masterpieces he put on my arm. I got a crazy Darth Vader grim reaper years ago from Mike and I had to come back for more. He cranked out a sick Luke Skywalker Jesus for me and absolutely nailed it. He worked with me, my budget and my ideas and I definitely feel like I got way more than my money’s worth. I will be coming back to finish my sleeve and Mike will always be my guy.

Very friendly staff and have gotten way better training studs than in other places. Also the decor while can be a lot it really grows on you

I just got a forward helix piercing today and I couldnt be happier with the experience! The personnel there are amazing, from the front desk to the piercing specialist. Well worth the visit. They were so professional, explaining everything throughout the process. I will be back!!!

At 38, I finally decided to take the plunge and get my first tattoo. It was a script tattoo on my upper ribs and it turned out better than I imagined. Mike was a delight. He was talented, professional, and very friendly. I really appreciated his guidance and collaboration. He helped me to feel very comfortable with the whole thing and ensured the placement was just right. He answered every question I had, made sure I was well taken care of, and talked me through the entire process. I told him it’d probably be my only tattoo, and he replied that you don’t see many people walking around with just one. I think he might be right, and I’d definitely come back to see him. Looking at the reviews of this place I was a little apprehensive to get pierced here but I was very quickly proven wrong. I had my nostril pierced by John, he was very kind and attentive. He ran me through the entire process before he began and then asked me if I was ready before he started. Afterwards I felt lightheaded and he gave me all the water I needed and a candy bar to help my sugar level. It was a great experience and I highly recommend going here. My twin was pierced by Tia and they had a great experience as well. 10/10

Went on the 10th of August to get my nostril pierced for my birthday. Tia was the chick who did it and she was amazing! First, the energy in there is fantastic. Very very clean. Tia made sure to tell me everything to expect for the piercing, walked through every step she was taking and made me feel very comfortable. Tia also gave very clear cleaning guidelines with a card in case I forgot (very helpful by the way). Just an overall rad experience here and would highly recommend! Thanks for giving such a safe, clean and fun experience!! Keep it up y’all. Especially you Tia. You’re dope.

Very reasonable prices, good atmosphere, and while an irrelevant detail maybe, the shop is covered in some extremely cool and fascinating sculptural horror art that would make Rick Baker proud. My tattoo artist was Justin, a very friendly and talented artist. Really couldn’t believe how fast and how well he hammered out both tats. Not much pain and they healed quick.I have no current plans for more tattoos, but if I someday do, it will be a very easy choice where to go and who to go to.

I have been coming here for over a year now, and every time I get anything done it is nothing but exceptional! Had a great experience with Mike Wiensz. He did a full Korean sleeve which isnt a common art style. He was very mindful and respectful to the source material I presented. In the end the sleeve turned out fantastic and plan on doing more work. Rest of the shop staff was fantastic and the shop had a great vibe.

First off, out of all the other tattoo places this is the only one that would take me the same exact day. Now besides that Born Weird Tattoo is a great place to go for ink. When u first walk in their shop is very relaxing and the atmosphere is very chill and engaging for they have great decorations. The staff is very friendly and kind. I personally got a tattoo done by an artist named bryan. He did a very well, very clean tattoo and the price he charged was very affordable. I do believe I should of gave him more, for his work was very clean and well done. For anyone who wants a tattoo I very much recommend Born Weird Tattoo and Piercing. They overall are an outstanding tattoo shop.

I started my floral half sleeve yesterday with Mike Wiensz and it turned out even better than I could have imagined. I got a mix of dahlias, peonies, eucalyptus, and lavender so far and it is absolutely beautiful. He is very efficient and we managed to complete all of the outline and even some color in around 5 hours. He was very kind about taking breaks when I needed it and is easy to talk to or just chill if that is more your style. Truly an amazing experience, and I cannot wait to go back in a few weeks to continue working on it!

I was a walk in. I wanted to buy jewelry and have it changed out by a piercer. I was approached by a male piercer who didn’t state his name but I explained to him my situation with my piercings. I hadn’t gotten them done there but was seeking help and advice. He asked what diameter and gauge my piercings were and I explained I was unsure. He responded with, “if you don’t know how should I?” He was extremely rude, condescending and patronizing. I have never felt so uncomfortable in a shop before, especially when seeking out PROFESSIONAL help and advice. I was so taken back I walked out because I was so uncomfortable I couldn’t imagine letting this man help me with my piercings.

Madi is the absolute best! I went in for a tattoo and she was so thoughtful with the placement, design, and detail. She was super involved with the placement and had no problem changing it up a few times to make sure I would love it and that it would also look good from an outside perspective. She was so kind and careful through the whole experience, I’ll definitely be back for another piece by her. Keep up the awesome work Madi!

Jordan in particular I happen to know has been an artist since she was five and has a passion for art that makes every piece meaningful on a different level. John pierced my naval and my boyfriends nostril. My boyfriend hates needles and John was very accommodating. He walked us through exactly what was going to happen and made sure we were ready before piercing us. 10/10 he was clean, used sterile tools and needles, kept changing his gloves if he touched something or just had them on too long. Explained the cleaning process and said if we had any questions don’t hesitate to get in touch!

Shop was awesome! People are great and ready to help with any questions. Billie was able to hook me up with a sweet half sleeve, that Im really stoked about.

I came to Born Weird for a tattoo in memory of my dad and they did a great job. We came in for a walk in appointment on a Saturday. My only complaint is that we were like 5th in line so we had to wait about 5 hours to be seen. But Im in love with my new tat!

I emailed them to ask about getting an appointment. Someone responded within 5 days E1(specifically the next day, please see their comment below) and said I needed to book with an individual artist through Instagram. E2(The information of how to book with the artist was unclear because it could have been and was interperted incorrectly). I have contacted said artists and have not heard back from them, nor have they even looked at the message. Currently iso a new tattoo place. Edits* E1 and E2 I am ratimg this due to their unclear communication and difficulty getting an initial meeting with an artist.

I cannot say enough kind things about Brian Basabe! I went to have a cover up done for a tattoo on my wrist. The way he designed the new tattoo perfect hid the original! His work is incredible and he took so much care in executing the final product. I will definitely be coming back to see him in the future!

Septum and ear lobes came out perfect. Won’t go anywhere else. Even my momma better not go anywhere else. John walked me through all the steps to make sure I was comfortable. Gave me a card with shop info and said if I needed anything or had questions to call/email. Even said if I wanted jewelry they didn’t have I could send a photo and he could order. Top notch customer service. He even changed out my moms jewelry at no charge.

Came in about an hour before closing with my cousin to get some piercings, John was very welcoming and informative even though I had to switch piercings last minute. Very quick and precise, and we love our new piercings! Will definitely be returning soon to get some tattoos done

I can easily say i’m very frustrated with my experience. I hardly ever leave reviews but i thought it was worth the time to say that i did not feel welcomed by my piercer, john. It felt very unprofessional and he made me feel quite stupid when i was asking about the piercing material and when i asked for his opinion on which side to get my nose piercing on since i was unsure how much it would affect sleeping vs. balance between piercings. I okayed his placement, but later came to realize that my nose was pierced at an angle instead of straight up and down like it should be. I did my research and angled piercings cause longer healing time and difficulties with other nose jewelry, let alone looking crooked. He used an L shaped nose stud, which i now know is not a proper healing stud shape, as it is often not cut to the clients nose anatomy, causing it to move around and irritate the piercing more. I made the frustrating decision to bail on the piercing and get it redone at Imperial since I’ve always loved and trusted them. As i was sitting to get pierced, I already did not feel trustworthy of my piercer and did not feel like i was in safe hands. I felt that he did not care about me or my piercing, which is not something you want to feel when you’re about to get pierced. $55 down the drain. I will not be coming back here and i do NOT recommend!!

I recently visited Born Weird to get my philtrum repierced and had a great experience. The space was clean and comfortable and Tia was super kinda and professional. Id definitely recommend this place for a positive piercing experience.

Got my septum pierced not long ago and the artist struggled to get the ball on several times, finally getting it the ball came off 2 days later and not wanting to go back i ordered new jewelry online. the septum inevitably fell out so now i wasted $60I understand it falling out was my fault, but the inability to tighten the septum and make sure it wouldnt be loose isnt.

John Ackerman did a great job and fully explained everything I need to do for aftercare. Also told me each step he took to pierce my lip and didnt leave me in the dark about what he was doing. He was very professional and I would gladly go again.

Kendall is a beast. It was my first tattoo and Im stoked I chose to go through them. I can only personally vouch for Kendall, but it seems as if all the artists in there are really professional and have great art.

Went in to get my nostril re-done after my jewelry fell out and too much time had passed to put it back in myself. The procedure was quick and staff was really helpful. If I decide to get any more piercings this is where Ill be getting it done. Thanks a lot! 😊

This is by far my favorite shop inBoise the piercing is super nice and very thorough making the piercing process easy. I’ve gotten two dermals and two eyebrows. The prices are really good for the quality. I love the environment there.
