Samantha Mcquellen is one of the best tattoo artists in Boise in my opinion. Shes extremely fair on price and the artwork is amazing. She will forever be my artist I go to. Plus, after my wife passed she let me put her ashes in my tattoo.

I went and got a Tattoo from Ryan. It was super easy to set up an appointment. Everyone was so friendly and the ship was really neat and tidy. Had a seating area to wait for your appointment. Ryan was super professional and made sure I was comfortable the entire time. He had suggested that I use Painless Tattoo. It was so great and I didnt feel 95% of the whole tattoo! Such an amazing experience and cant wait until I can go back for my color!

Brady is incredible! I had a portrait done by him of my dog, which is incredibly important to me, and it came out better than I ever dreamed. He tattooed with such a light hand that I was comfortable the entire time. The shop is light, airy, and very clean. I will absolutely be back and have my sleeve finished by Brady. 10/10 recommend!

I got a very meaningful tattoo done here by Dan. After thinking long and hard for over a year about what I wanted and who should do it I chose him, and I’m so glad I did. His line work is immaculate and his attention to detail is phenomenal. He truly cares about what he does and it shows in his work. He’s my go to tattoo artist now. I HIGHLY recommend him to everyone! And he has a super chill vibe that made me feel comfortable laying there for 4 hours.

We had a large group getting memorial tattoos for our nephew who just passed away. They set a block of time for us. Ryan James did an amazing job. So appreciative!

Every artist here is so friendly and welcoming. Just a great vibe being there. Artists are amazingly talented and personable. The owner came over to offer positive feedback and encouragement to his apprentice. I do not think Ill ever go anywhere else for future ink. I will be back as soon as possible!

Wish I could give more than five stars. The shop is clean, all the artists are friendly, and it’s an inviting environment rather than intimidating like some shops. I worked with Dan and recommend him every time someone asks about my tattoo. Perfect clean lines, easy healing (which I attribute to his cleanliness and attention to detail), and pleasant to spend 6+ hours with him. :) brought my vision to life with suggestions and was open to hearing feedback about the design. Raiden was the man. The fact that there were 2 of us wanting individual tattoos (and were flying out the next day) got lost in translation and he was still able to get us both in and did an amazing job. My line work is so crisp and precise and the lighthouse My gf got has the same great line work and the shading is beautiful. 10 out of 10. I will be calling him again next time we go back to visit Boise.Heis also crazy personable and easy to chat with. We spent 6 hours with him and enjoyed every minute of it.

Absolutely impressed! My husband and I like to come here for their Friday the 13th tattoos and did exactly that today. My first artist did encounter an issue, but immediately stopped and had the owner take over. The situation was handled flawlessly by both individuals and Im really grateful that it went the way it did, especially considering how busy the shop was. The integrity and quality of both artists stood out to me tonight and we LOVE the tattoos.

All the employees get along great. I would suggest always planning ahead and setting up an appointment before heading in its going to save you in the long run and your going to get a way better job cause you didnt rush the artist. I love Callens work. She made time for me and gave me the treatment I was expecting. You guys are lucky to have her on your team.

If I could give 0 stars I would. I suppose the 1 star accounts for the fact that the staff is always super friendly. And that is the only good thing about this place.I came in because they were highly recommended by several friends. I came in with an idea and spoke with a couple of the tattoo artists. Paid $50, and made arrangements for one of them to draw out my idea. He was then going to text me a picture of it. If I liked it I would make an appointment. If I wanted something changed he could do that.I came back a month and a half later because I had not heard anything. I was told he was still working on it between his clients. All he had was the same 30 second sketch from when I first spoke to him. It is now been a total of 4 months, and I have not heard a word or seen anything he may have drawn. The worst part is I dont even know his name. I want to say it was Chris or something like that.I will take my business elsewhere.

Chad rocks! Not only did I get a pretty quick appointment, he was able to complete 3 pieces for me in 2 hours and they look incredible! When I am ready for more I will for sure be back. Super clean shop!

Brady is literally the best - since I was first tattooed by him, I have not and will never go to anyone else. Hes an amazing artist, I would refer anyone to him because he can seriously do it all. They care about their work and the quality that comes from it. I could not recommend anyone or anywhere else then the staff at old soul. If youre on the fence about getting a tattoo and youre a little scared of the pain, dont be. Just do it. Youll love it. And go through Chad. Hes the man. Super clean shop, too!

I went to Old Soul to get my first tattoo. I had read the reviews and saw several people recommended Bryson for getting a first tattoo. They felt he was light handed and did a great job. He did not disappoint me! He was great at putting me at ease, and the tattoo turned out absolutely amazing!! Chad Smalley is an amazing artist, had something special in mind for Friday the 13th today with a full moon not happening again on Friday the 13th for another 30 years and he did an amazing job! The staff is awesome and love the clean environment!

Was super excited to get my first tattoo done here, since I had met the artist and talked I was reallly excited for my appointment. My artist moved my time earlier that day(which didn’t bother me at the time but added to my overall experience)Then showed up late for my appointment while I was there 15 minutes early. While getting my tattoo it was very awkward and someone was blowing her phone up. After it was done all looked good and she put the bandage on it. It wasn’t till I took the bandage off that I noticed the shading mess up. Not a big mess up and other than that the tattoo was beautiful. I was told I would be charged for the touch up and in order to get it I would have to be getting another tattoo. So to pay for her mess up I am supposed to buy another tattoo and pay the supply cost for the touch up? Seems rediculous to me. Won’t be going back. I definitely would like to talk to the owner.

The guy was really nice bc i was so scared and when he gave me the tattoo it went well but i went in a couple of months later to get it touched up and now it’s like messed up, one part of the line is thicker than the rest and it bothers me so much!

Very long wairing list booked out a monrh so i diffenrly would not do a walk in withour an appointment. We did make a appointment and when we got there they could not do work talking about they had something to do was very disappointed due to the fact of waiting ended going someplace else and got tatoo done elsewhere so cant judge their wirk
