Arcadia Body Piercing

Absolutely the best piercing experience of my life. Came in for a nose piercing, it’s been a decade since my last piercing due to bad experiences. A level of care and transparency that I wish my doctors office would give me lol. They walked me through every step of the process, answered every question, prepped me for what to expect when it did happen. I had no fear, and it was so easy. Also, awesome jewelry selection. I gave some guidelines to their front person and they gave me so many good choices. Thank you to Rob for a 10/10 experience, and their front person whose name I never got, you both rock!

I had the best experience with Arcadia. From the moment I entered the salon, I was welcomed and greeted with enthusiasm. They helped me understand the process before, during and after the piercing as well as helped me understand the differences in the jewelry and how it would look. Morgan was absolutely amazing. She explained each tool she was using, she continued to allow me time to ask questions and get comfortable with her before she started. The salon is very clean and sterile which was also very important to me. Arcadia will be my go to for any future piercings and I will recommend them to others.

Beautiful selection of jewelry but more important, a clean, welcoming, positive environment! I felt so cared for and even though the actual piercing took such little time, I felt like I had made a new friend with my piercer Rob. I had went in for a simple second lobe piercing but Rob made a suggestion based on the anatomy of my ear and where my first piercing was placed, and I left with a stacked lobe as well as my seconds! Now I know nothing about piercings, so this wasn’t even something I knew I could do, or that my anatomy was good for it. I felt glad that Rob took the time to explain and make suggestions to me based on my own ear. The ONLY downside I can see is the price. It’s not cheap by any means. As I mentioned, though, I have no experience with piercing studios and what these things cost, so for all I know it could be reasonable for what I got! Ultimately, I don’t regret spending the money. You get what you pay for, a five star experience. Anyone can stick a needle in your ear (or elsewhere) for twenty bucks. If you want quality jewelry, safe and clean environment, and a welcoming and friendly crew, you come here.

Rob has pierced both of my nostrils and has changed jewelry on two helix piercings that were not done at Arcadia. Rob is very knowledgeable and is delightful. I would recommend them to anyone. The helix were not done well (remember! Not done by Rob or anyone at Arcadia!) and they discussed my options of what would look best given how the angle of one is off. The jewelry they changed it to looks great. Arcadia has a great selection of jewelry as well. Bonus points because at least a couple of times Ive been there theyve had a livestream of cats playing on the front room TV. Any place/person who loves cats that much is a friend of mine 💕

It was my first time there and my first time ever get a facial piercing besides my ears… all I can say is “WOW” what. Great experience from beginning to end, and they made me feel so comfortable and it was a painless experience. I would definitely recommend coming here for any piercings!

I had a really wonderful piercing experience at Arcadia. The staff was professional, attentive to detail, and perfectly communicative about the process at all times. The studio is very cute and so clean! I would trust them with any future piercings and they’re the only place in Boston I’ll be going for any future piercing needs.

Its an informative, lovely and well receptive piercing shop. Basic piercings can be a walk in on specific days and they do attempt to get through their walk in as quickly as possible. But due to limited space, can take time.Its not wheelchair acceptable due to having to go up the Boston style narrow stairs. But Im certain that they make accommodations for wheelchairs/mobility folks.They have a 3 max piercing policy. Due to health and healing reasons. Great selection for jewelry pieces, and they attempt to stock local artists works and ethical source materials.Went there for nipple piercings and a daith, with them changing/refitting my septum piercing that had fallen out. All done by Rob, and they do their due diligence to make sure that it doesnt hurt(as much), you like the placement and spit talk about any future body modifications you desire with references to other piercers or shops to get it done.

I took a chance stopping by without an appointment, as I found this place on Google maps this morning and am in Boston for the night. A+++ from beginning to end. Incredibly kind and friendly (and funny!) staff. Very professional and so accommodating. They fit me in between appointments and did a beautiful job with my piercing. I cannot say enough good things about my experience! Thank you so much for everything, and for making my trip with my son a little extra special (and sparkly!) ❤️

Rob is amazing every time I come here, explains everything thoroughly before/during the piercing process, and is always open to doing cool things! Everyone who works here is also super nice, and their online appointment portal is easy to navigate. Would strongly recommend Arcadia and Rob to anyone looking to get a piercing.

I did an ear curation for my first piercings with Rob. They did a beautiful flat, conch, and second lobe.The piercing process itself was very clean. Rob has great bedside manner and communicated everything they were doing.The jewelry Rob helped me pick out is balanced, in line with my taste, and fits my anatomy perfectly. I’ve gotten a ton of compliments over the last few weeks.I recently went in to downsize my bars before vacation. The process was quick and easy. While I was there, Rob helped me pick out jewelry for my first lobes. I had a high order and Rob pulled frankly stunning pieces.Yesterday, my flat was feeling a little tight an sore. I reached out. Rob and the staff were able to get me in within 30 minutes when it was just before close to look at the issue.My ear is completely comfortable and looks stunning.

I got my nose pierced on Friday with Rob. The whole experience was great from the folks helping me pick out jewelry/explaining aftercare to getting my nose pierced. I had extreme anxiety before the piercing but Rob was awesome talking to me and calmed my nerves. They are absolutely awesome and am so thankful they pierced my nose! Its my first facial piercing. I love my piercing and am so glad I went to Arcadia. Ill definitely be recommending my friends to come here for piercings.

Great experience! Very friendly staff and a very clean workspace. I love that this piercing studio is woman owned! I usually do my own piercings (only ears lol) but yesterday I went in for my naval because it had been botched far too many times in the past. Rob suggested I did a floating naval with a small ball at the end rather than a disk to suit my anatomy and I loved the outcome! They also offer a variety of lovely jewelry! My naval jewelry came with an opal gem on the top and came out to 85$. I suggest calling and asking with any questions you have. I have never set foot in this shop, however I accidentally booked an appointment with them thinking it was the Arcadia in Huntsville, AL. There was a number to text for questions that needed immediate attention, which was great! The person replied extremely quickly and told me they would get it sorted out for me. They were well in their rights to deny me a refund since I agreed to the non-refundable payment. They cancelled my appointment ASAP and refunded my money. Thank you so much!

Absolutely top notch jewelry selection and piercing services. I’ve had a total of 3 piercings across 2 different appointments in the last year. I’ve also purchased 6 different jewelry pieces from Arcadia (to give my old piercings an upgrade). The jewelry selection is the best I’ve ever seen, you can truly find beautiful, unique pieces to really make the most of your new piercing.Both Morgan and Rob have been lovely, attentive, considerate, and are clearly very well educated. Rob has helped me to curate a beautiful collection of jewelry that fits my personality really and accentuates my piercings. I am so happy that I found Arcadia! I came in for a group appointment with two friends and we all had a fantastic experience. Morgan was extremely knowledgable about jewelry and extremely patient with us as we picked out pieces for our piercings. Then, Rob did a great job with my conch and helix piercings. These were my first ear cartilage piercings, and they walked me through the process and made me feel comfortable. I live about five hours away but am already plotting ways to make it back to Boston so I can get pierced at Arcadia again!

Wonderful experience getting my septum pierced, everything was so clean and they had a beautiful selection of jewelry. Everyone was super kind and welcoming and Rob talked me through everything as they were piercing, such a comfortable and pleasant piercing experience! Will absolutely be back again!

Got three piercings done here now, most recently got my nose done by Rob. After the first day I wasnt a fan of the jewelry I picked put and went back in the next day and explained my issue with the jewelry. Morgan was very nice, patient and helpful with me. All piercings Ive gotten there have been amazing experiences both Morgan and Rob are great piercers and make you very comfortable. Highly recommend this place, honest pricing and great service!

Call it a mid-life crisis, but after recently turning 41, I decided I wanted to do something spontaneous and edgy. Since local reputable tattoo artists were already booked 1-2 years out, I instead opted to have my nipples pierced again (for the third time overall).After doing a little research and listening to some word of mouth recommendations, I decided to contact the Arcadia Body Piercing studio.I spoke to Morgan, the shop owner and lead piercer, on the phone and she was extremely helpful in answering my questions and giving me the confidence I needed in moving forward with booking an appointment.When I first arrived at Arcadia the first thing I noticed was just how clean and immaculate everything looked. I can be a stickler for cleanliness and organization to an OCD level, but I immediately felt reassured and comfortable in the shop, which helped ease my nerves.Morgan was so welcoming and knowledgeable. After telling her about my prior two experiences of getting my nipples pierced (2004 and 2011), and some of the issues I had encountered, she offered a sensible and safe plan of re-piercing the area for a third time with very minimal risk of those issues returning.Between the safety and sanitary measures Morgan took, and the precision in clamping and piercing the areas, the whole process went smoother and involved less pain than it had in either of the prior two occasions.So far the healing process has been progressing as intended. And there has been minimal swelling and no sign of infection.Long story short, Im glad I trusted Morgan with my nipples that day, and if anyone else is starting to go through a similar mid-life crisis or is just looking for a truly clean and professional piercing, I highly recommend you give Morgan a call at Arcadia Body Piercing. Ive gotten two piercings at Arcadia (nose and conch). The first time was my nostril stud with Rob and the downsize with Morgan. The second was a conch piercing with Morgan. Both have been great with answering questions, working with me on placement based on what I eventually might want to do (like change to hoops or not), and were patient as my only piercing experience before were my lobes (in a mall in the early 2000s...) Mika at the front of house is also super patient and takes care of checking in and checking out a lot of people, especially during walk-in hours. They helped a lot with selecting the right size pieces I wanted and thinking about placement. I think the only thing to keep in mind with walk-ins is that appointments take priority. So if you know what you want for sure an appointment is the way to go, otherwise bring something to do in case you have a bit of a wait. Overall Im so glad I found Arcadia!

I went here yesterday (4/13/24) as a walk-in. Ive always gone to Stingray in the past (RIP). I Googled some places and this place just felt right. I called, asked questions, got nothing but professionalism. Arrived at the shop, which was super busy (thats a good thing IMO), and got the same professionalism, the shop was incredibly clean & sanitized and everyone was super sweet. 10/10 recommend this place as the new Boston piercing institution.

This was one of the best piercing experiences I’ve had! Rob was super kind and made me feel so comfortable and I didn’t feel rushed. They explained the aftercare and process so well and had a great assortment of jewelry. I will definitely be coming back again for my next one.

I got a conch piercing from Rob and it was a great experience! The shop was super clean, everyone was very professional, and I was given thorough aftercare instructions. Looking forward to coming back in a few months for a snug piercing!

I visited Arcadia while on holiday in Boston last week to add a fourth lobe piercing, and had the loveliest experience! Morgan and Farley were so kind and welcoming, made me feel so at ease, the jewellery selection is amazing, and they paid so much attention to hygiene and aftercare. Im so happy with my new piercing and only wish that I didnt live 3000 miles away so I could come back more often!

I just got back from my earlobe piercing appointment and I cant recommend Morgan and Farley enough for their kindness and professionalism. The jewelry selection is incredible, they were both very helpful selecting studs, Morgan was thorough in marking the piercings, and swift and steady with the actual piercing. You will not regret coming here. I wasnt sure Id get anything else pierced before my appointment today, but now Im seriously considering more visits in the future!

Had a great experience with Rob McConnel. It was my first time getting a piercing, I got to pick out some nice (and body safe!) jewelry which was reasonably priced, I received a nice detailed consent form that covered quite a few things, and was given plenty of time and not rushed so i could relax first. The piercing itself was quick and placed well.Ive been following the aftercare instructions given (rinsing with a bit of sterile saline twice a day and otherwise leaving it alone as best i can) and its looking pretty good so far!Also, the shop is a nice and comfortable environment. Queer and friendly :)Thank you!! If I lived nearby Id certainly be coming back.

Oh my gosh I cannot recommend this place enough!!! Super professional and friendly service. Farley and Morgan (the owners/piercers) are talented, experienced piercers and the kindest people. This was my first cartilage piercing so I was a bit nervous but Morgan did a great job of comforting me and walking me through the whole process. Also great emphasis on aftercare. The peace of mind and hygienic practices are well worth the price. They really value getting to know the customers and ensuring that they are satisfied.

I got my helix and a second upper lobe piercing few months ago with Rob. I felt like we got along very quickly. I had gotten my helix pierced a year ago at another place where it took forever to settle and hurt so much so i let it heal which left a scar. Rob did a fantastic job and re-pierced the same hole and it did not hurt at all. the healing journey was AMAZING, no pain, no discomfort, no complications. it’s been almost 8 months since I got my piercings w Rob and they are perfect now. Just after a few days of getting them, they started to heal. I give full credit to Rob’s professionalism and how great they are at their job. 100% recommend!!

This place is truly the best. I knew I was in good hands the second I walked through the door. Rob took their time getting to know me and my jewelry preferences and helped me pick out some pieces I really love! I came in for a flat and third lobe and decided to get a conch because I loved the monstera piece from BVLA so much. Their jewelry selection is enormous and Rob knows all about it!Jake was my piercer and was very kind and helpful. He and Rob got me so pumped up! As someone who gets anxious very easily, this was absolutely the best possible place i could have gone to. Every step was explained in-depth for me and the build up for the piercing was not anxiety inducing at all. Very friendly people who are extremely good in their craft.

I got my first piercing, an eyebrow piercing, there a week ago and it was a great experience. I did a consultation first and they answered all the questions I had, specially being my first piercing experience, they were so encouraging and mindful of my concerns. Had a nice conversation with Morgan, shes really sweet. I went to get my piercing and she explained the process so I had no questions, so it was a quick and efficient procedure. They went over caring for the piercing and encouraged me to stay in touch and ask questions if I have them, even after the piercing was done. 100/10 would recommend, currently trying to convince family and friends to go there and get something done lol

I got my lobes pierced by Rob a few months back, they healed up wonderful! Rob was very meticulous with marking and had amazing bedside manner during the entire process. The studio was very welcoming and had such a variety of jewelry options.Overall 10/10 experience and would highly recommend to others!

Had a great experience getting my naval piercing here! I haven’t had many piercings and Arcadia’s expert staff was so patient while working with me. They answered every question I had and knew exactly how to help when I felt faint after the procedure. My piercing fell out 2 years after I got it when while playing volleyball and they helped me get it back in. I have also seen them be honest with clients who don’t have the correct anatomy for a specific piercing which gives me so much confidence in them! I have recommended Morgan and Rob to friends and will continue to do so. Their jewelry and techniques are high quality and they are the sweetest people. I am so impressed with how they’ve continued their services in memory of their late piercer Brian Farley who I was lucky enough to have pierce me. I know he would be so proud of them for all they’ve done for Arcadia. The last time I left the studio after Morgan put my belly ring back in I saw a rainbow outside that I know was Farley telling her good job :) 10000/10 would recommend this piercer!!!

I had such a great experience here! I made a curation appointment since I knew I wanted some more interesting piercings on my ears but wasnt sure where to start/ what would work with my anatomy. I originally booked with Morgan but Rob was covering and they were excellent (along with the other person helping at the front desk-- cant remember their name sadly). They were so kind and helpful, even when I was indecisive about piercings and jewelry, and the entire process was explained to me very clearly, from the piercings themselves to aftercare. The jewelry is expensive so expect to drop a chunk of change if youre doing multiple piercings, BUT the pieces are absolutely beautiful. I would highly recommend if you are looking for a place for safe, quality piercings with knowledgeable people.

My new go-to piercing shop! Both employees were knowledgeable & helpful when picking out jewelry, as well as flexible working with my price range. Rob was my piercer & they were very professional, kind, and quick! I had taken out my seamless septum and not been able to get it back in, Rob made quick work of getting my new jewelry in and reassuring me. As someone who’s been to many piercing shops, I highly recommend this shop (and not just because of the cat shelter livestream they had going in the front area!).

Morgan and Rob are extremely lovely people. They go out of their way to care for their clients and themselves. Their communication is consistent, and they will always post updates on their IG and google or directly for any changes in your appointment. They are both passionate about their work and will always tell you what will work and wont work for you. They arent driven by money but want to get their clients the piercings they deserve. If you want amazing service and to meet some amazing people, this is that shop to be at. I cannot recommend is enough.

I made my first visit to Arcadia a few days ago to get a third lobe piercing, and it was a really fun and comfortable experience! My piercer was Rob, who was really professional and friendly. I felt like we got along well immediately and was relaxed for the piercing. I made an appointment online, but ended up going back about half an hour later than expected. This wasnt a big deal for me, but Id plan to have some wiggle room for your appointment if you make one. The studio was quite busy when I went on a Saturday afternoon. The one con I have is that I wish I could have more easily looked at the available jewelry and prices before going. The studio is very small, so its awkward trying to browse the jewelry for a long time, and I was unprepared for the prices (though the bill was reasonable, I would have liked to know more ahead of time). A few days post-piercing, I have no pain and hardly any bleeding. This is a distinct difference from my other lobe piercings, though I got those ages ago at a mall. Definitely recommend going to a professional piercing studio like Arcadia. As soon as I got home, I started thinking about what other piercings I want to get, so Im sure Ill be back!

RUN, DONT WALK TO ARCADIA. Seriously, I’ve been looking for a piercing studio in Boston for so long that has gold, good quality jewelry and only specializes in piercing. Farley & Morgan not only helped me pick out my jewelry but looked at my ear anatomy to help me decide which pieces would look best in which spots. I never felt like they were trying to upsell me or get me to buy the most expensive jewelry in the shop (something that I always run into at other places) - they were genuinely trying to make my ear look it’s best. Amazing selection of earrings & overall so clean & friendly. Couldn’t say enough great things about my experience. I will absolutely be going back.

I got a helix piercing done at Arcadia and it was such a great experience! Everyone working there was so kind, patient, and helpful! The jewelry selection was super cool, so many pieces, all of high quality metals, and they were beautiful! I got my piercing done by Morgan Mitera and she was amazing. She explained everything beforehand and as she was doing it. She was super kind and fun to talk with. Overall great environment, super professional, super clean, 100% recommend and I will be going back for any future piercings!

My bestie and I got our nostrils pierced here and it was such a great experience! Morgan was our piercer and she is so knowledgeable and helpful. Had great recommendations and made the whole experience very comfortable and fun! Micah was amazing and gave us some going out recommendations that were a blast. We don’t live in Boston and honestly I wish we did just to have access to this place! Anyway, 10/10 Highly recommend.

Amazing Place! I got a more known to be painful piercing and Morgan was so great in walking through all the steps and making me feel calm and chill while also remaining organized and safe. Absolutely STELLAR service. Came here to get second lobe piercings and my friend’s very pleased with her second conch as well. Farley walked me through aftercare & their jewelry selection while I was waiting for Morgan to get set up, and Morgan talked me through every single step before & during, while I was in the chair. Both were super personable; I chatted with Morgan about cats😁🍝Morgan, of course, inked the locations and got my approval before doing the actual piercings, so it was completely my fault when I realized I wanted a different location for my right ear, closer to my original lobe piercing (the pearls in the picture). Amazing experience! I had an ear piercing that has had issues for as long as I’ve had it, and the staff was amazing! From picking out the jewelry, to the actual consult. Great energy. We ended up having to re-pierce the ear, but they did a great job.

The owner Morgan and piercer Rob are both amazing. They are warm and welcoming. You feel like their friend when youre there. They have gorgeous dainty gold jewelry. Theyll help you pick out jewelry if you want and they help pick the spot you want pierced. I love supporting women owned businesses so Ill never go to another place. I recommend Arcadia to everyone! This is my first review, but I had to share the wonderful experience I had with Rob. I am a piercing rookie, and have had two very basic piercings done elsewhere. I was always left with a feeling of “oh well” but this was not the case at all at Arcadia!Rob took my future jewelry ideas into account, walked me through the entire process, and even kindly provided suggestions for placement! I received very thorough after care advice and felt that everyone was extremely professional.Rob’s recommendations were very thoughtful and it really showed that satisfaction and wellbeing is a priority. I was asked how I was feeling throughout, I was able to ask my own questions and did not feel rushed at any point. I could not recommend this place enough!! I can’t wait to come back!

I went to get my jewelry switched out. I have had Rob as a piercer before and they were and still are amazing. However, the jewelry I ended up getting, which was 125 dollars, is horrible. It hurts me whenever my ear is pressed down (like while sleeping on my side). My piercing is completely healed so it’s not because of that, rather the jewelry is just really sharp and has cause multiple cuts under and around it. I messaged them about this via website the night after I got it switched out and was told the most they could do was put in a longer rod. Something which would just cause irritation to my piercing. Honestly just really upset. I like Rob, I just don’t like how the owner treated this. I really don’t have the money to just buy another earring, especially a decent quality one

Wonderful experience getting my 7-year-old daughters ears pierced here! The owner, Morgan, took great care to explain the process and after-care and to put my daughter completely at ease. The piercing itself was gentle and painless (my daughter smiled the whole time) and the studio was clean and sanitary. Highly recommended!!

Ive been to a couple piercing studios in Boston and can safely say that Arcadia is by far my favorite studio. Ive gotten three piercings by them (daith, forward helix, tragus), and two of them healed seamlessly; I have 14 piercings and have never experienced such a smooth healing process until then. My forward helix was being a little temperamental (honestly my fault), and Morgan immediately scheduled me for the day after I messaged. Morgan and Rob are both absolutely amazing and I cant recommend this studio enough!

I went with my friend to get our doubles at first, and they were so nice and easy to talk to and made you feel right at home. they are honest and try to give you the best jewelry recommendations based on your budget and considering we were broke college students that was really helpful. the thing about morgan and farley is that they are really good at getting you excited about whatever piece you get, and are really good at getting you to want more (especially since all their pieces are so gorgeous). my friend and i came back a couple weeks later and I got a jewelry change and a conch piercing, both of which are gorgeous. since i was worried about price they were able to get me a cheaper titanium piece and color it the exact shade of gold that I wanted which i was surprised how fast it took and how well it turned out. another thing to note was that my friend had lost her helix piercings jewelry on accident and she was able to get a stud replacement free of charge which to be honest, we didnt expect and was a pleasant surprise, and morgan was able to respond quickly to her concerns and get it fixed. my friend and i are definitely coming back for more since were not done yet and i highly recommend arcadia for anyone looking for not only a hygienic piercing experience but also one that is personable and enjoyable. it really is worth the money :)

I received a navel piercing here about a month ago and had an amazing experience! It was my first piercing I had ever gotten NOT on my ears and Morgan was very considerate and described everything she was doing/would be doing in detail. It’s clear that Morgan truly cares about the people she is piercing and puts a lot of thought into what is best when it comes to someone’s anatomy. Both Morgan and Rob were a delight to be around and made my piercing experience very positive. Will absolutely be going back for other piercings in the future and will continue to recommend Arcadia to everyone :)

Morgan helped taper open my very old piercings (8+ years without jewelry) that I thought had closed. She was very patient and thoughtful throughout the consultation, acknowledging my previous experiences with severe infections and validating my apprehension about re-engaging with the piercings. The tapering was done masterfully and Ive not had any trouble so far just sticking with the aftercare recommendations. Im happy I found a piercer I can trust, and hope to return for jewelry changes :)

Earlobe piercings are pretty basic. Boring, even. When I was a kid Im pretty sure the thing to do was go to the mall and pick out some earrings that might make your skin turn green, and get them somehow attached to your ears with a piercing gun. I never got my ears pierced as a kid, or my anything else pierced as a rebellious teenager, and thats probably a good thing because it turns out that piercing guns arent a very hygienic choice and even a basic and boring piercing is best done by a trained professional.When I decided I wanted to get some holes in my ears where I can attach shiny things for fun, I looked at different options near me in Boston. A few studios stood out in the Boston subreddit discussions (one of my go-tos for this sort of thing). I contacted them via email to ask a few questions, and Arcadia was the first studio to reply.Further questions were answered very promptly and professionally. Between that and the content of the replies, and stuff I saw on their website (I really liked that they offered a place to include pronouns in the appointment booking form), it was an easy decision to schedule my piercing there.My appointment was yesterday. . The studio was very clean and I feel really comfortable with the hygiene and sterilization practices used. I understood everything that was happening and how Ill need to care for my piercings to help them heal.Rob did my piercing, and they took great care of me. The other staff were friendly and kind. It was a really positive experience overall.Ill be going back in the near future to get my jewelry downsized -- the length of the post for a just-pierced earlobe is longer, to allow for swelling that naturally occurs during the healing process, but once thats gone away you need to get a shorter post. Rob said I can also call or come back in anytime if Ive got questions or concerns.I feel this is a very deserved five stars. I dont plan to get further piercings, but if I do, Id want to get them at Arcadia.

I usually don’t write reviews but if I could give 10 stars I would. Super professional, great atmosphere. I got my nose pierced at a different tattoo shop a year ago and kept getting irritation bumps. I decided I wanted to get better jewelry. I came here and they were so inviting, helped me pick out a nose ring and squeezed me in to remove my old one and put in a new one. She was super gentle and knowledgeable and walked me through the process. A week later, my irritation bump is completely gone! So grateful I found this place. Will come back and recommend to others!!

Recently got a hole poked and Morgan was professional and courteous and considering this was my first time, exceptionally comforting. You’re in good hands at Arcadia and would highly recommend it for anyone who’s nervous for their first time. She has a ton of experience and many regulars so her reputation and expertise comes highly recommended!

Would give 10 stars if I could! As someone with a history of fainting, feeling comfortable can make or break piercing experience for me. Morgan was phenomenal! She took great care to make sure I was in the best position possible, talked me all the way through it, and was ready with juice, glucose tabs, and a cold paper towel to see me through. The studio is pristine and the jewelry selection is beautiful. Cannot recommend her, or her studio more. Just go ahead and book already!

I flew in from Milwaukee today and had this appointment set up for the last week +. I got several reminders (thank you!) that were super helpful since I’m very forgetful. Once getting to the studio, I was greeted by my piercer, Jake, and he was so kind and helpful from the start. We first replaced two piercings in my nose for the correct sizes and they fit PERFECTLY - exactly what I was looking for. I asked if he had time for a piercing (also listed this in my booking) and he said we had plenty. So he did a quick consult of the location and showed me which jewelry pieces would work. I chose one that I’m absolutely in love with and was pierced and on my way. Jake was so kind, gentle, and just an all around great vibe. The studio was clean and welcoming. Awesome service. Got me in super last minute and helped me out after my piercing got stuck on my motorcycle helmet and ripped out. Replaced other piercings with shorter posts to reduce irritation. Going back for more work in the not too distant future. Excellent shop, clean, efficient and definitely knows their business. Also great selection of jewelery. Highly recommend.

I was pierced by Rob (again). They have now done a few piercings on me (lobes and rook), and what a great experience it has been watching them gain confidence in the role of piercer. They start off making sure you are getting jewelry that you love and will fit with your anatomy, and with the selection Arcadia has this is probably the hardest part. During the piercing, they make sure to move at your pace and that you are comfortable the whole time. Seeing them transition so naturally into the role of piercer brings me so much joy and it’s been a pleasure to get pierced by Rob! I will be back again for all my future piercings. I took my 10yr old daughter to get her ears pierced and Morgan was Amazing with her. She explained everything to her and helped to keep her calm but also just made the experience so awesome my daughters anxiety was never hurdle and she already wants to go back.I also got a 2nd set of ear piercings and it was great! Ive gotten some piercings from both morgan and rob (helix, daith, lower navel) and they were both so lovely! i had some piercings before but most of them got infected and i would have to sadly take out my piercing and let it heal over. i felt like i was wasting a lot of money on getting repierced only to have it reject again and again. but at arcadia, all of my piercings have healed so well and i would have pretty much little to no irritation! rob and morgan talk you through the piercing so that there arent any surprises/you wont be caught off guard once they pierce you and i find that it helps my body feel way more at ease. theyre always checking in on how youre feeling throughout your appt, and the level of care + cleanliness they put into their work is so above and beyond! arcadia is now the only place i trust for piercings and i cant wait to get more from them!!! :-)

This is the best piercing studio! They did 3 piercings for my mother, and were so gentle and kind helping her pick out jewelry and understand aftercare, etc. The placement was perfect, and their hygiene was impeccable.We had some time left over after the appointment, and the piercer (Morgan) was kind enough to take a look at some of my piercings I had from a different studio that were irritating me. She not only identified exactly why they werent healing (wrong angle, not enough space), but offered to replace/remove them for me with the time we had left.Great jewelry selection too -- and some really nice titanium studs if youre looking for a more affordable selection.Thank you, Arcadia!

A friend and I went to get our piercings done during what was very clearly stated on their website and door walk in hours on a Saturday. ( around 6)Not only was the studio completely dark, and they had two other people waiting, but there was no indication that they had closed early or there was a change in the schedule. We had taken the train almost 25 minutes, not all of us have the privilege to be able to get to a service in such convenience. Extremely unprofessional and disappointing.

Cannot say enough wonderful things about Arcadia! I brought my 9yo daughter there to have her ears pierced by Morgan. She has a great way of working with kids, made sure she felt comfortable and involved, checked in with her a number of times. My daughter actually almost passed out (notably, not from pain she said, but from the weird sensation and holding her breath in anticipation) and they handled it beautifully by having her lie down, brought her some juice to drink, and then rescheduled us for no fee to come back a second day to have the other side done. I was so grateful! The second visit was very easy and her ears have been healing PERFECTLY so far (3 weeks and counting) with no swelling and no pain.

Incredibly impressed with my experience with Morgan. I gave her quite the challenge removing micro dermal piercings. She went above and beyond to make sure I felt comfortable, and regardless of it taking far longer than we both expected, she did a meticulous job - she did not rush and she didn’t get frustrated. Her kindness, patience, professionalism, and attention to detail make her wonderful at what she does. I highly recommend Arcadia if you are interested in a piercing (just not a micro dermal 😆).

Okay wait this is the best shop Ive ever been to, Im sorry my beloveds but the experience here and range of jewelry simply does not compare. Im sad it took me so long, why didnt I realize it even existed? It doesnt show up on a search like some other local shops? Which is partially why Im writing this review, visibility babySo first of all the jewelry choices are vast and absolutely insane. They carry a broad variety of companies including smaller makers (Pupil Hall🥹♥️) as well as the heavy hitters. Theres a beautiful selection of chains and dangles as well. If you want something unique please come here. I cannot recommend their selection enough, the displays are gorgeous and well curated. If they dont have it they can order it for you.Second of all the staff is just totally wonderful. Everyone was really sweet and knowledgable. Morgan and Rob were amazing teaming up to get the best placement for my anatomy, and the piece I chose. So rest assured the needle isnt even coming out until they feel its perfect. Never have I had an experience where someone took such care to look over my anatomy and more importantly explain WHY certain things would or wouldnt work in certain spots. Let alone two people, just wow they were so focused on making sure it fit for my body perfectly, and that I loved it. The level of expertise and care really has me touched. You can tell they love what they do. Like please dont sleep on this spot I know its small but its super accessible, its right off the green line and everyone is so wonderful. Also shoutout to Micah (sp?) at the front desk who is so pumped to see your jewelry choices and eager to show you fun pieces, if you cant decide on something their input is so fresh and fun. Morgan and Farley are probably some of the greatest people I’ve met since moving here! My friend and I went in September to get our doubles pierced, and everything was so well organized, clean, and professional. We just went back a week ago (November), where I got a helix and a triple. Morgan did all of my piercings and her placements are just immaculate. Both Morgan and Farley are such fun people to talk to - they make the piercing experience worth the trip. Unfortunately, the jewelry for my helix fell off a couple days after, but I was able to get in contact with Morgan, who was able to give me detailed instructions on how to care for my ear and helped replace the missing jewelry. Everything about Arcadia makes it so worth coming back again and again. I would highly recommend, as I, too, will be coming back for more :)

I first came to Arcadia when I had difficulties healing an 8mo old piercing (pierced elsewhere). Farley and Morgan were so kind and gave me a great and honest run down on how to properly take care of it. Literally 2 weeks later it calmed down and I wish I had went to them earlier! Given this encounter, I decided to return to get pierced by them. I actually wanted a different piercing than the one I got, but Farley suggested an alternative location because my original idea wasn’t going to work with my ear anatomy. I really really appreciated their honesty and love the piercing I got! Farley was so nice and professional, and very gentle compared to other piercers I’ve been to. I have been here a few times to have some piercings re done by other places that weren’t done according to my body anatomy. I had a piercing done with Morgan in January 2021 at her prior location, but she always kept up with me for follow-up care/questions that came up during the healing process through the opening of Arcadia. I visited the new Arcadia location last week (June 2021) for a downsizing and loved how clean and bright the studio is – great for all ages and definitely family-friendly. I also met co-owner Farley during this appointment who was super friendly and informative regarding my questions about custom jewelry orders I’ll be making in the near future. What started as wandering in for an eyebrow piercing turned into being more than excited to fly across country to get pierced. Morgan is amazing, knowledgeable, and kind, and her ability to translate ideas into functional piercings is amazing. I also love that shes been more than excited to do nerd inspired piercings too!I dont know when Ill be in Boston next, but you know Im definitely saving at least one piercing plan for Arcadia next time Im in town.

I have three piercings from their shop (mid-helix, rook, and conch) and all of them were done beautifully by Farley. In addition to being incredibly sterile in their work, Farley had an incredible eye for curating jewelry to look like a wonderful, cohesive collection in your ears. Many places can do a good job at the act of piercing, but few can create a sense of ease and joy like you experience in Arcadia.I can’t recommend visiting their store enough!!!

They were really accommodating of my last-minute appointment. I didnt get a piercing here, but bought new jewelry for an existing piercing. They were able to walk me through what my work best, and gave me everything I needed to easily install the piercing myself (they werent able to do it for me because its a nose piercing and they cant do under-mask services right now). My best piercing experience to date! I have been to numerous piercers over the years and have never felt more welcomed than i did by Morgan and Farley. I was nervous about the piercings that i was receiving today but Farley made me feel totally comfortable throughout the process. 10/10

I took my 8 yr old daughter to get her ears pierced today at Arcadia. Our experience could not have been better! Farley and Morgan quickly made my daughter feel at ease. Farley was incredibly patient and honest with my daughter about what would happen when he pierced her ears and the care that was required afterward. The actual piercing was quick and as painless as possible. My daughter left with a big smile on her face! I am very grateful for such positive experience.

I used to go to Punctured and I love what Farley and Morgan did with the place! Arcadia is super clean, bright, and professional, and they have the best staff in Boston. Morgan is so nice, informative, and makes the piercing experience so easy. Shes been super helpful with aftercare questions and custom ordering jewelry.

I got my septum pierced with Rob. They did a great and speedy job! Answered all my questions and gave me all the reassurance. 10/10 Would recommend!

The piercers here are so amazing. The are incredibly personable and friendly and do great work! I got my tragus and forward helix done in one session in the same ear and it turned out amazing! The price is great since all the jewelry is high quality and there is such a large selection. The piercers are very experienced and have a lot of knowledge about what they do. I drove from Rhode Island to get the piercings done here and it was worth it. Definitely would recommend this place! I

This was the best piercing experience I have ever had! Let me preface this review by saying that I have been to multiple tattoo and piercing shops and have never felt so welcomed and comfortable in those environments.When I arrived at Arcadia, I was met with a warm welcome from Rynn. When I entered the space, Morgan was immediately friendly and knowledgeable. I had initially gone in for a daith piercing, but after looking at my ears, Morgan was very transparent that my ear shape was not ideal for a daith piercing as that area of my ear was fairly shallow. With this in mind, I decided to switch to a tragus piercing. While I waited for Morgan to sterilize the jewelry and her tools, I had a great conversation with Rin who took out her example ears and showed me all of the places that my ears would allow me to be pierced!Upon entering the room for my piercing, Morgan walked me through each step so that there were no surprises. She made me feel very relaxed and was extremely personable! When she did the piercing it was the most painless piercing I have had. It is now about two weeks since I got my piercing at Arcadia and the healing has gone way smoother than any of my other piercings. I am not overly well versed in the science behind healing, but I am convinced that I have been healing so well due to the preciseness and quality of the actual piercing experience.Everything that Rin and Morgan stated during my visit was backed up by knowledge - Arcadia is amazing and I will certainly go back for my next piercing, whenever that may be. Overall, if you want great knowledge and education, great conversation, and an overall great piercing experience, then Arcadia is the place to go!

I got my nostril pierced today by Farley at Arcadia and cant even describe how much fun the experience was and how thrilled I am with the result! Morgan and Farley are for sure two of the coolest people youll meet. They are both super friendly and welcoming and have done an absolutely impeccable job of creating an atmosphere thats both totally comfortable & inviting, and totally professional! Having now been pierced by both of them, I can attest to the fact that they are both phenomenal at the art they create. Plus, can we talk about how beautiful and clean the space is?! You can clearly tell how much thought and hard work was put into every aspect of Arcadia. Ive already recommended it to my friend (via a spam of hyper-enthusiastic texts, lol) who wants a piercing in the future! Words can’t even begin to express how incredible my experience at Arcadia was! I had two 12 year old microdermal hip piercings that I wanted to get removed but I was absolutley terrified to do so (given how long they’d been in for and the fact that I had no clue what the removal process would entail or how painful it would be).I wasn’t sure if I should try a piercer or plastic surgeon for removal and was swayed to reach out to Arcadia after reading all of the positive reviews from other clients. They were not wrong!Morgan and her team at Arcadia went above and beyond to make me feel calm and comfortable throughout the entire process. I’m kicking myself for not getting her team-member’s name while I was there — they were both so awesome to work with!They made me feel welcome and told me tales of all of their own dermal removal experinces while we waited for the equipment to sterilize. Laughing and chatting with them really helped me calm my nerves. Everyone had great energy and I genuinely felt like I came to the right place and would be in good hands throughout the process.I spent the entire night before panicking while reading Reddit threads about how painful the dermal removal process would be - to the point where I even tried to look up breathing exercises and meditations to distract me from the pain during the procedure - turns out, I didn’t need any of those! Removing both dermals felt like it took less than 5 minutes total and thanks to Morgan, they barely hurt at all! 🥹I had one that was already irritated from my friend’s dog hopping on my lap a couple weeks prior and it popped out so quick and easily, Morgan refused to even charge me for that one! I imagined the other one would be significantly worse since it wasn’t already irritated, but she was able to get it out in minutes with minimal pain. It was maybe 20-30 total seconds of mild pain/discomfort and then it was over. I was honestly in more pain trying to pop a zit earlier that day lol. I couldn’t believe it. I was absolutley speechless! I had worked myself up SO much during the weeks leading up to it, I was in complete awe that everything went so quick and easily.So if you’re like me and spending hours reading about others’ experinces and hyping yourself up over the pain while deciding where to get dermals removed, definitely come see my girl Morgan - she has the magic touch and went above and beyond to ensure it was a comfortable experience. I could not be more grateful. I’d literally consider getting more piercings again in the future just to hang out with the Arcadia team, they were so awesome 😂 I can’t possibly recommend this place enough.I even screwed up while booking and accidentally clicked the “15 min piercing removal” option before seeing the “30 min microdermal removal” option, was so anxious I almost forgot to bring a mask with me despite their website being VERY clear about needing one, and even desperately asked to move my appointment up a few days (essentially, I was just being the *most* annoying customer ever leading up to it because i was so anxious lol) - and instead of being annoyed with all my mixups and emails of questions, they were all incredibly kind and understanding about everything and went above and beyond to assist me through the process. Incredible customer service all around. Truly makes all the difference!If you have any piercing needs at all, I cannot recommend Arcadia enough. Let me start by saying I didnt go through with the piercing at this shop but was surprised by a couple of things so want to inform others:- the deposit (aka piercing fee) you pay when booking is non-refundable even if you cancel in advance. This is written in their fine print but just be aware- you have to purchase their jewelry to pierce with and the minimum cost of their earring is $70. I made a note in my booking that I wanted to bring my own jewelry (which I paid 200 for somewhere else) but they did not inform me until I got there that it was not an option and that I had to use their jewelry which ranges from 70-100+. I saw a cute tiny moon earring I liked that was 110 for example- they have a 10min grace period (Which was not written anywhere) if you arrive at 10min after your appointment time on the dot youll be turned down. noting because most places have a 15min grace periodOverall the shop seems very clean but they are strict about certain things so beware and plan accordingly!

This is such a lovely new piercing shop! Farley and Morgan are incredibly kind people and super fun to talk to, making the experience very comfortable. The studio is clean and bright with such a welcoming atmosphere, Id highly recommend going for a piercing or for buying/changing jewelry.

I got my belly button pierced today and I couldn’t recommend Arcadia any more!! They made sure to go in depth about the healing and cleaning process beforehand and the pricing of everything is well worth the quality you get. The actual piercing didn’t hurt nearly as bad as I thought it would since there was no clamp needed for the piercing and it was over within less than a second, I could definitely tell the piercer had lots of experience. Overall a great first time experience and I highly recommend!!

I got my eyebrow pierced here and they had a really cool selection of piercings also the people were extremely nice and awesome. i have an anxiety disorder but they made me feel comfortable and calm which was cool. definitely recommend.

Just got second earlobe piercings—my first time at Arcadia, and well over a decade since my last piercing—and I couldn’t be happier with whole the experience!! I was a little bit nervous but they both totally put me at ease. Their place is beautiful and they have a great selection of earrings—that work for sensitive skin which is a huge deal for me. They extensively explained the aftercare process and answered all my questions (many before I even asked them). I will definitely go back and would 100% recommend!! Thanks, guys! :)

Morgan and Farley are absolute homies! Had a botched nose ring piercing fixed here as well as my ears repierced (after multiple attempts from other less qualified piercers that never healed correctly). The shop is absolutely SPOTLESS and they take pride in explaining all of the proper methods of aftercare as well! With their meticulous approach to proper handling and sanitization of jewelery, and their in depth explanations of the process, its a no brainer that they are appointment only. If you want professional service, and good company, book an appointment early, they fill up spots quick!

Such a great place to get pierced! The owners are so knowledgeable and they have such a great energy and vibe. It was such a fun experience and they provided great after care for my cartilage piercing! Would go back again and again! *ask to see pictures of their cats, you won’t be disappointed

Went with a friend for her birthday. Farley is a great guy, hes really informative and caring. Id originally wanted to get an industrial but after inspection and talking with Farley, I decided on a conch and I love everything about it. I was given professional aftercare advice and the shop even sells aftercare supplies. Sidenote: ask about their cats and definitely see pics. Cant wait to come back!

Overall had a good experience at Arcadia. Seemed kind of up a sketchy flight of stairs but it was very nice inside. The employees are amazing super helpful and very funny but also professional at what they do. I was expecting earrings to be about $35 (i think i read that somewhere on their website) but when the total came up from the earrings i chose, the earrings were about $120 each for 1, additional to the piercing cost. I changed my choice and got two which were 35 and one for 110 ish. They did have a lot of earring options but showed the expensive ones first. The cheap ones are kind of plain but makes sense.*edit: 3 months later 2/3 of my new piercings have gotten infections even though I have been good about cleaning them. probably doesnt have anything to do with the piercer but it did happen*

I used to frequent Punctured a lot and was devastated when they closed. I was absolutely overjoyed to hear that the shop would get a second life as Arcadia! The renovations theyve done in the shop are super beautiful and Morgan and Farley are so so sweet! Ended up only getting some aftercare from them but it was great to talk to them and Im really excited to grab some new gems from them!

I have always had a great experience here. The piercers are incredible; they are super nice, professional and skilled. I am currently at college in Waltham, so I had to take the bus and walk 40 mins to get my appointment but it was so worth it. I highly recommend going here. The jewelry they have here is also so beautiful and high quality.

The staff here is rude and gives vague and conflicting information. Called two months ago and was told by the male piercer that acceptable forms of ID to use for the piercing included a birth certificate, passport, or government issued ID. Since I didnt have an ID due to my wallet being stolen, I came with a birth certificate and was told by the other piercer that the birth certificate would not be acceptable due to me being over the age of 18, which was not information provided to me when I made the initial call. When I explained this and asked for my deposit back, the piercer was denied the request and tried telling me that I must have called another shop and asked to see my call history, saying that the other piercer who answered my phone call “never would have said that”. Had to argue with the piercer for 10 minutes to get her to give me back my deposit, the whole time her denying that I was given conflicting information by another staff member. Overall awful experience, will not be returning or recommending this place to anyone.

Morgan pierced my nostril. She is one of the best around and nicest people ever! Would recommend her 10 fold for someone interested in a piercing and I would go to her again in a heartbeat.

I have only been to this place just once back in June for a piercing and to change a jewelry. They’re very professional - they use an autoclave to sterilize the tools they use and the jewelry (I have been to places where they run the tools/jewelry under some tap water and that’s it). And at least from my experience, a customer before me was not feeling well and they did their best to take care of the customer. I would definitely recommend this place and will return here!

For awhile I thought my body just hated peircings. Instead these lovely people took the time to figure out what went wrong for me in the past and patiently worked through all of my questions. Since then I have recommended a bunch of friends who are all just as happy as me. This is the place, right here if you want new peircings or new jewelry put in or even if youre just thinking about it. Their online booking system is super easy, and if you do call, they will answer and get you set.

Can’t recommend them highly enough. They are extremely responsible, respectful, knowledgeable, kind and talented. Their selection of products is fantastic and everything was very timely and professional. I’ll keep turning to them even though I’ve moved and they are a bit out of the way because I have a lot of trust and respect for them. Prices aren’t dirt cheap but they are fair considering the quality of service and products you’re getting. Worth every penny IMO.
