Good Faith Tattoos

Highly Recommended.I got my first tattoo at Good Faith and Nicholas was my tattoo artist. I would like to base my review on a couple points:1. Ease of access to shop- super easy. There is a green T station right in front of the shop2. Cleanliness- Shop, artist workstations all are clean3. Tattoo - Nicholas is a super patient guy, he spent a good amount of time figuring out the best place for my tattoo and at the end it was in millimeters that we were thinking of. I appreciated his patience there. He is a great artist as well and that is because the real tattoo looked way more beautiful than the picture4. Overall - very pleasant experience. I had to go to the store to make an appointment and had to pay $80 up front which is refundable if you cancel before 48 hours. I think it is slightly inconvenient but I understand their reason to filter out genuine people from the rest.

Can not recommend enough, went in for my first tattoo ever and Chris was extremely friendly and just an amazing person, he made me feel very welcome and was extremely understanding about my tattoo even giving me ideas what we could do and it was amazing, during the actual tattoo he made me feel very comfortable and made sure I was ok. 11/10 would recommend

Nick did an amazing job. He was very patient and helped me come up with a great idea. I will definitely be back when the time comes for another tattoo.

Second tattoo from Heather Lynn and Ill be back! Heather is easy to work with and very good at what she does. The shop is right across from a B line stop. Theres -very- limited parking in this part of the city. I love my pumpkin. Heathers shading is on point!

Just finished my session with Nick. All I can say is he is a beast! Super talented artist and a great guy. Amazing vision and color choice. Wonderful shop 13/10 recommend. Definitely coming back to get more ink 😎 thank you Nick!

Chris made my first ever tattoo an incredibly positive experience!! He walked me through the process so nothing surprised me and I was able to relax while he worked quickly. He was very clear about after-care instructions, didnt rush us, and was very friendly and welcoming. My only complaint would be about the $100 store minimum regardless of the tattoo youre getting, but that seemed to be true for all the reputable places in the Boston area. Thanks for squeezing me and my friend in at the end of the day, Good Faith!! You guys rock!

This is my new favorite tattoo studio! I got to work with Chris and I’m so thrilled with how my tattoo came out. He went above and beyond with me to make sure what he tattooed was exactly what I wanted and was looking for. Highly recommend artist and studio. Everyone who sees my tattoo says how beautiful and detailed it is. He even gave me a free tea shirt. Love this place! The photos are of my tattoo now, (after healing,) right after tattoo was finished, and after the outline was done. Can’t wait to go back to the studio for my next tattoo.

My experience was amazing. I got my first tattoo ever with Heather and she made me feel very comfortable and walked me through the process. The shop was very clean and I felt very comfortable. My tattoo came out great and I really enjoyed my experience!

Friendly and professional staff. I was immediately made to feel comfortable despite the fact that I had no experience with tattoos or tattoo shops. I met with Johannes who had been highly recommended by a friend.I spoke with Johannes twice prior to beginning work on my tattoo. He was receptive to my ideas and to the artwork that I showed him, and he educated me with regard to what would and what wouldnt work with respect to my proposed tattoo.The studio was clean and comfortable. Every step of the process was explained to me in advance and there were no surprises. After the work was complete I was provided aftercare instructions verbally and in writing. The final cost of the tattoo was within the quoted range.I was very happy with the finished product which ultimately took two sessions as I decided that I wanted additional work done that I had decided not to do at the first appointment. Again, the cost of the additional work was within the estimated price range and I was even happier with the tattoo after the second appointment.I am sure that the other artists at Good Faith Tattoo are great, but I can only recommend Johannes. If and when I decide to have more work done, I will return to him.

Nick is an amazing tattoo artist! Everything went well with my first tattoo here. He made me feel so comfortable that I didnt even feel any pain. The studio is gorgeous and they maintain all the safety protocols. Thinking about doing the second one very soon!!!

Good Faith Tattoo. Chris is not only a great artist but one of the most professional, chill, and competent artists I’ve ever had the pleasure of working with.Also, if you haven’t been to GFT in a while there’s some new blood in the shop by the name of Heather. I got a piece on my left leg by her after seeing her work on social media, and it came out amazing.Needless to say if you’re looking to get a tattoo you should def give these good people a call/e-mail. Not sure if popping by is cool with COVID and whatnot…Support this business. Support your local artists.

I first showed up at this parlor as a law student in 2012 and had a number of sittings with Chris. Great tattoo artist, friendly, amazing studio and I’m still happy with the work almost a decade later. I also brought a few friends by to get tattoo work done. Would drive from Albany 3 hrs away just to get work in the future for sure.

Nick at Good Faith is amazing!!! He is honest and hard working. He knows what is good for you and would take his time to get you the best service possible. Heather and Chris are also amazing artists!!!

Great place. 3 great artists that are good at the job and accommodating to any type of tattoo-ee. Whether youre getting your first or 40th, they are gentle and willing to do any design. Great prices considering the great work.

My husband and I were tattooed here a few weeks ago by Johannes, and we had such a great experience. The folks here are super nice and welcoming. We were both getting large (for us) pieces, so we pretty much spent the whole day here. While we were there, we witnessed a guy make some pretty ethically sketchy tattoo requests, and we were both really impressed with how the folks here handled it -- they were able to calmly but firmly end the situation in its tracks. Plus, Johannes was nothing but super sweet and understanding when I couldnt stop my leg from spasming during my tattoo. (Turns out its not a good idea to go for a long run before getting tattooed on your leg, who knew?) In any case, we both love our tattoos and are happy we went here. These folks are true professionals.

Best tattoo shop I have ever been to! This place totally and completely rocks. The artists are super friendly and easy going. I was able to describe what I wanted, get an amazing sketch, and have a great experience. Blake Brand is awesome. My arm piece is exactly what I hoped it would be. Striking, beautiful, and insanely colorful. Perfect. Seriously. Good Faith is everything you want a tattoo shop to be.

I came to these guys with a design in mind and they did the standard thing, took a deposit and set an appointment. However, when I came back, the design Nick had done was STUNNING, and the finished product is phenomenal. Great lines, fantastic attention to detail. I love my sleeve, and I highly recommend these guys. They are also very professional, highly flexible on time and the place is spotless.

We walked into the shop and every one was very welcoming and nice. Very friendly and professional! Extreamly clean and knew how to deliver great customer experience. If you are in the Boston area this is the ONLY shop to go to! The artist I was lucky enough to get was named Ian, he was a perfect gentlemen who gave me the best work of my life.

Awesome place with awesome people. Everyone on the staff was incredibly knowledgeable and friendly, and I felt super comfortable talking about the design of my first tattoo. I was in and out within an hour with a tattoo that I absolutely love! Tattoo Sioux is the best!

Great shop with a great crew of artists that are always friendly and very helpful! The shop is above T Anthonys, right next to the Dunkin donuts, on the corner of the Babcock Street Green T stop.Ive had Victor do two tattoos for me and both experiences have been awesome. Definitely planning to go back to continue to add on in the future.

I was quite nervous to get my first tattoo here, and also a bit scared to be judged for the girly design I wanted. I felt comfortable, did not feel judged and got some help from them to choose the location and design of it.After one year, I still feel very very happy with my tattoo.

Walked in a week ago on a whim during a business trip. Was scheduled with Victor K. FANTASTIC experience. I have two full sleeves with these two tatts that Victor dis being the best in both artistic talent and application. Super light handed, extremely fine straight lines, incredible color application and design as well. He did exactly as I wanted with his style of course(youre a fool to try and reign in an artists personal style) and it was amazing. He also tuned up ALL existing tatts on one arm. I would definitely fly BACK here from Florida to keep Victor a personal tatt artist. Super cool dude too. The entire good faith staff is AWESOME. There tattooers and there are artist just like everyone can cook but few are genuine chefs. Good Faith is loaded with talent and cool folks. All Chefs. Going back in 4 days for right arm tune up and new art as well.

Got a tattoo from Chris who was amazing! Consultation & appointment were set up very quickly. I am super satisfied with the tattoo.

My sister and I came up from Kansas for business. Victor is hands down an Awesome and Amazing artist. We got lighthouses on our inner ankle just for a memory. These tattoos were wayyy better than we had expected, originally the lady at the front desk had us dissapointed. We were told our tattoos would be too small for any details such as windows or doors or anything to make the lighthouses look realistic, but Victor was so talented he took our wishes and wants and brought our tattoo visions to life. They were so beautiful when they were done that I cried with joy. This tattoo is now my favorite and it has become a wonderful and cherished memory of my sister and my time in the beautiful city if Boston.Thank you VictorWith love-Amilee and Jasmine

I like the atmosphere and the decor- it is like being in a really cool museum with lots to look at. No complaints about the tattooing- everything was professional and competitively priced. Nick was very helpful and straightforward. Everything was clean and organized- I would recommend this place to anybody!

When I walked in, I didnt feel welcomed at all. The guys told me they dont do finger tattoos (which is totally fine) I know a lot of places dont do that- but then told me I look too young to get them anyway and that I wouldnt want tattoos on my fingers for future jobs. First off, they dont know my life what I want to do with my body is my choice, and saying Im too young to get a tattoo on my finger, when Im 20 years old and am perfectly capable to make decisions on my own, is not right. Regardless, whether or not theyre good at tattoos, if I dont feel welcomed then I will not be bringing my business.

Tryed to convince me that lines would fade and that I would need to make it bigger and restructure my tattoo design. He then proceeded to give me a price that was much too high. Double what I would normally pay for the same tattoo. I already have two tattoos they both look beautiful and are not verry different at all to the one that i proposed (the lines are the same thickness as the one i wanted, and they are crisp as ever). I would have payed more for this one tattoo then for the two I already have combined. Which are both bigger than the one I wanted. An overall bad experience would not even recomend walking through the door. Their work may be good, but I do not feel that they are competent at knowing what is good and bad.

Ive been going to Nick for over 5 years and to GFT for 6. I cant recommend this place enough. Nick executes my vision every time better than I can explain it to him. Today I did a memorial tattoo for my dog that was very emotional and Nicks recommendations were spot on. I will cherish it forever.

These guys are great— very helpful and professional, and always willing to help explore options to get the most out of a design. The shops always clean and theyre up to snuff on best practices. Just be sure to make an appointment, as they do a brisk business.

Got tattooed here over a year ago and it was a pleasurable experience. Except about a month later I realized that one of the hands that was tattooed on me was not like the painting I had it tattooed after and it has six fingers so, needless to say I will not be returning

Great employees, really chill and kind. Took my tattoo two hours and it looks incredible. My tattoo artist was Nicholas, would definitely recommend this place if you’re looking for a good tattoo!

Cant recommend this place enough. All the guys at the shop are super cool and have really rad work. Highly recommend Johannes for any American traditional or Japanese traditional. Will continue to come back here because of how awesome the work they produce is.
