My experience at this location was fantastic. I was greeted by a staff of women, which immediately made me feel more at ease. The whole team was super helpful, informative and attentive. Sarah was incredible. We had our consultation ( a 20 min conversation discussing expectations, before and after care). Once I had determined this was a good fit, I had my first appointment! The actual zapping only takes about 2 minutes and I was done. If you are looking for a positive and comfortable experience I would definitely recommend this location.

For something as miserable as tattoo removal, this place makes it about as enjoyable as it can be. Ive had 5 sessions so far - mostly with Alyssa and one with Gina - and they are just incredible. So friendly, funny, and knowledgeable. They hype me up during the sessions and give me all the tips to make the healing as productive as possible. They are so organized and clean. So grateful that I’m with them for this long process vs anyone else. Ill update in a few years when it’s all done hah

The Boylston office is wonderful. The staff are the quality of people you expect who make your experience very comfortable. Having a very large back piece removed, and my experience has been incredible so far! They were very transparent and informative in my consultation, and my removal sessions (while very painful) have been made as comfortable as possible by Alyssa! She is awesome!!

Is it possible to have fun while having a tattoo lasered off your body?! YES. Yes it is. While the actual process is annoying and uncomfortable, Alyssa is amazing and makes sure that I feel as comfortable as possible. Shes quick and efficient! I highly recommend Removery if, like me, youve got some tattoos that you chose when your brain wasnt fully developed yet ;)PS: Yes, it hurts. And yes, more than getting the tattoo. Yes, its so quick. Yes, its worth it. And, like what I presume its like for child-bearing folks, you forget the pain! I recommend eating a small snack before, and icing at least 10min before your appt on the spot youll have lasered, and ice afterwards. They also recommend icing for an hour for the next couple of days. Its really not that bad, just feels a bit tender and warm the first couple of days. You can do it!!

I’ve gone through the intake and first couple of appointments, and so far so good. It’s a rough treatment, but they do their best to level set and make it go quick. Will update if anything changes.

I have had tattoo removal done years ago and it has improved significantly. Although before my first session, they went through everything again and what to expect. I was able to have my first session the day of my consult because it is also incredibly fast now. I just appreciated the time they spent talking with me and explaining what to expect now. It’s a little itchy, but a little Vaseline and it goes away! Bonus: there is a goodie bag 🤗

This place truly is the best. At my most recent appointment I ended up being late and missing it due to no parking. They offered me the next available appointment which was 45 minutes after my normally scheduled one. I don’t even think I waited more than 5 minutes after getting there before they were able to squeeze me in. I got home before my next rescheduled appointment! Everyone is also just so friendly, it’s becoming fun to go there just to see the laser techs.

They always make sure that you are prepared and as comfortable as possible during the laser treatment, taking breaks as needed. Financing options are also available, making tattoo removal more accessible. I love that they know me personally even with six weeks between each visit — building strong relationships with clients is definitely something they are great at.

I went in for a consultation last Saturday and felt the price and process sounded like a good fit. I purchased the 10 session package and was taken in for my first treatment that same day.The process is quick and simple, and pretty much painless. I was warned the laser would feel like a rubber-band snapping on my finger, and I honestly think a rubber-band hurts worse than the laser.The ladies who work here are professional, caring and very knowledgeable. They ensured I understood the process and were eager to answer any questions I had. They’ve even reached out to me personally to see how I’m healing after my first session.The office and treatment area are clean. The office is a bit difficult find, as it’s sandwiched between two shops, but once I looked at the picture on google maps, I was able to locate it very easily.I plan to update this review after I’ve received a couple treatments to show removal progress.

I’ve been coming here since 2/2021. I love the service they provide. They are very personable and make you feel so comfortable. Removing something you feel embarrassed about can feel like a task but you won’t feel that here. I also got a package with a payment plan. So I know whatI will be paying total to completely have all my tattoos removed for a package price. Who doesn’t want that!!!

Every tattoo remover has been excellent-very knowledge, take the time to explain the process to me. It is a bit painful but they are excellent and make sure the lasers and cold treatment are exactly where they need to be. Making major progress after 7 sessions!

After having a couple of bad experiences at other tattoo removal places in the area, I am so happy to have found Removery. They were extremely caring and knowledgeable. This place offers multiple payment options to fit every client’s needs as well which is so nice. Removery is heaven sent! I got a tattoo when I was 16 in someones house and regretted it the moment I got it. I finally mustered up the courage to get it removed despite hiring painful stories about laser removal - and I also just make enough money where I could afford to do so haha - but this was the best decision I could have made in my young adult life. The staff answered all my questions, was super kind, and theyre so accommodating and flexible with my schedule. The office is super clean, like unbelievably clean, so I feel like Im in a safe place and they have my best interest at heart. My results have been amazing as well. After only 4 or 5 sessions, my tattoo is almost gone! They have financing options if the cost is overwhelming - even though they have beautiful prices in general - so its a very affordable process. I am very very pleased with Removery. 10/10 would recommend!

I went today for a consultation and decided to do the treatment here.. everything was explained thoroughly and they didnt pressure me to purchase today.. (even though I did end up buying the sessions since it was so clear and upfront) I had a good experience with Christie, Kelsea and Jovana!

My tattoo artist recommended Removery to me so that we could do more work over an older piece, so I’m getting a large tattoo (8” by 8”) removed. I just finished my second session.I’m amazed at how fast the appointments are! My tech is really great, answers all my questions, and I’m excited for when it’s all done.

This is my first tattoo removal experience and it is a relatively large tattoo on my side. Kayla walked me through every step, every pricing option, and was very genuine and easy to work with. She has been extremely accommodating during our appointments and let’s me lead the Progression of laser session. She is very knowledgeable about different inks, colors, and their ability to be removed. I enjoy working with her because she has a vision of how my skin will look at the end, even though I don’t! Regarding COVID - they take every precaution and I feel safe. The Boylston St location is always clean and professional! Glad I made this my removal choice.

I got a tattoo from a new artist that I almost immediately regretted. Luckily my usual artist directed me to Removery and the results are definitely there. Everyone I’ve spoke to whether it’s at the desk or the laser technicians, they’ve all been great. My tattoo is coming up on being about a year old now but looks as old as my ten year old ones and I’m still getting sessions done to fade it so I can get it covered!

The girls at this location are just friendly & informative. We met for a consultation & they were nice enough to squeeze me in that day! I just moved from Atlanta and had been going to Invisible Ink in Buckhead. Several tattoo removal companies recently merged (Invisible Ink being one of them) and all became Removery. Worked out great for me because this location was super close to our new place in Brooklyn!The ladies were super friendly and explained everything (we tried a new laser that I’d never tried before). The office is very chic and feels almost like a spa. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a tattoo removal place!

I also enjoyed their previous location and this one is even better. Its a nice bright welcoming space and the staff there is very friendly, extremely knowledgeable, and honest. All my expectations have been met which of course most importantly was get rid of my tattoo! Im enjoying the final couple sessions. Theres some discomfort but its not bad. Bottom line, if you have been thinking about tattoo removal, do it and do it now because it will take some time and I dont know anyone better! #TheFinery

Looked into the removal process last year to have my neck/throat sleeve removed so I can have it do well by my current artist since I hate it currently. I pushed the process off and went last week. They took care of my service dog while I was getting it done even though she was hell for them... accommodating and very easy to work with. They help you figure out payments that work comfortably for you so youre not breaking the bank. Procedure is really quick and you feel comfortable with them. Overall I highly recommend.

I love this place! From the jump they took a scary, expensive and time intensive procedure and made me feel safe, mitigated my pain(as best they can) and made me feel as if they were a part of my journey to get rid of my tattoo. Each person I’ve worked with at this location has been professional, knowledgeable and easy to get along with. Even when they are zapping you. I couldn’t give them higher praise, and I hope if you are looking for tattoo removal you take the time to get a consultation here. It will be well worth it.

I can’t say enough about how positive my experience was today. I had all the information I needed heading to my appointment as there was ample email communication to prep me. I arrived with my wife and they allowed us both to take part in the prep conversation- we discussed expectations, the healing process and care, cost, anxiety and what to expect in terms of pain, etc. Kayla was exceptional at putting me at ease, recognizing that it was my first time. She allowed my wife to hold my hand during the treatment and she talked me through it. The attention and care- and good old fashioned kindness- was surprising and greatly appreciated. On my way out, Hailee was another warm and friendly face- encouraging me along in what is going to be a long process for me. Was a bit worried about the pain, but figured for something like this I’d go with the best end result. Session was painful, a stress ball helps, but it’s faster than you think - then you’re done. Removery is awesome, two thumbs up.

I havent been here in a couple years but when I decided to continue with the removal process..Removery (formly Tataway) was on speed dial!Thanks ladies!!!!

I am midway through the removal of a small color tattoo and I am very happy with the results so far. I wanted to have this tattoo removed for years and tried several times to find a reputable place that was reasonably priced. Tataway is just what I needed. They have package pricing that is affordable. Every time I have gone, all staff is courteous, well-informed and very prompt and helpful. I have already recommended Tataway to a friend who is in process of removing several tattoos. With my tattoo, the black was completely gone after two treatments. The color is taking a bit longer, but each time it fades more and more. After 4 treatments, the tattoo could be mistaken for a bruise rather than a tattoo and it will probably be completely gone after another couple of sessions. The pain isnt bad - my tattoo is small, so its over fast, and Ive never had any problems after a session. The staff always follows up to be sure all is well and they are all about customer service. I am very happy to recommend Tataway to anyone who needs their services!

My experience at the removery has been exceptional. I have a very stubborn tattoo that oxidized so badly I started to second guess my decision on starting the removal process. However, the staff at the removery was always so positive and assured me they would figure it out and I am so glad I trusted them. They used a few different techniques and the progress I’ve seen has been unbelievable. I am SO happy and I’m so glad I choose the removery for my tattoo removal. It’s been two years at this point and having the guarantee that they will remove it and not having to pay anything additional on top of my original package has given me such a sense of relief. The quality grade can wait as I’ve only had two sessions and I haven’t seen much of a fading. Everything is articulated so you know exactly what you’re getting and what you’re paying for. Staff is knowledgeable, beyond accommodating and friendly. Looking forward to final product.Worth the stop if you need this sort of work done.

I have a tattoo I would rather live without and have been going to the Finery to remove it. My reason for rating them so highly isnt because they magicly removed it quickly and painlessly (its been over a year and is quite painful.) I love this place and the people who work there because theyre honest, knowledgeable and understanding. They made options for me to keep the costs manageable and when theyre not happy with the recent results, they suggest alternative options to help the process (all within my plan and budget). They make me feel like I am a valued client and that achieving my desired result is there top priority - not how much money they make off of me.

Extremely easy and nice to work with. I went in for my first ever laser session, having bought a livingsocial deal. They were extremely friendly, and the first thing I was told was that I had over-paid (having judged the size of my tattoo as larger than it was).This is the kind of honesty that is rarely found in businesses today. They allowed me to do the session with a much better laser (but also offered me the choice of two sessions with the laser I had paid for), and were happy to let me google it a bit on my phone to make an informed decision (they even encouraged it).The lasering itself was done as quickly as possible (which was very nice given how painful the process is) while still covering the entire tattoo. And the results were immediately clear.With regard to the next session, they were again extremely nice and low pressure. They suggested that I wait and see the results and if I am happy with them, and only then re-book, but I felt happy enough with everything that I re-booked right then. Im heading back soon and looking forward to it.Also, they are extremely easy to contact post-session, with a number you can text (and of course a phone number you can call) with any questions or concerns. It was excellent.

I’ve been going here for awhile now to get rid of my back piece. I love the ladies here, very professional, super nice and friendly. Chelsea and Dayna are gentle, skilled and very understanding technicians. The sessions are always painful but Chelsea and Dayna are very fast so that helps. I like how they always tell me what’s going on as they laser me and how much is left. Gives me the motivation to bite through the pain! I honestly dread going in for my sessions every time because it’s so painful! But the people here make it all better. Thanks! Definitely recommend this place! :)

Carmen and Chelsea at Tataway have been great. Ive been in several times at this point, and my tattoo is noticeably fading--I have high hopes that it will be gone in just a couple more visits.The Pros: Very friendly service. The staff is great, very friendly, and conversational. They do an excellent job of making an uncomfortable experience as quick and comfortable as is physically possible. Very easy to book appointments online, and they have late hours on Mondays, which is very helpful for me. They have a very new PICO machine, and Im seeing results quickly.The Cons: Expensive--to be clear, though, its not that Tataway is expensive (its not, comparatively), just that the tattoo removal process itself is expensive. But hey, thats what you get for getting the stupid thing anyway, right? Its also a time-consuming process, but again--thats indicative of the work being done, not Tataway. I will say that Im seeing MUCH faster results at Tataway than the original place I had gone to for my first removal appt.Overall, definitely worth recommending. The treatment is very fast, and the staff is accommodating and easy to work with.

The staff changes a lot (specially for a family business).I bought two of the most expensive packages in Groupon (with 3 sessions each) and as I tried to do the third session they started to measure my tattoos again and said I only had a credit (not a session) after made me wait for over 40 minutes. The place is nice but they dont seem to know much about Customer Relationship. Ive been waiting for their call a week now to deal with my credit.

These guys are awesome. My technician (I think his name is Michael) was very honest with me about the process and what results to expect. The pricing was very reasonable and fair. I had to move in the middle of my removal process and he went out of his way to offer me help finding somewhere to complete the process. I highly recommend them!!

I’m a big fan of these guys and the professionalism with which they run the business. This is not some fly-by-night tattoo removal operation; they are super professional from atmosphere to administration (scheduling/billing/follow up/technology) the whole package. It is more medical office practice than tattoo removal shop, but with some fun and savvy. They also have the most advanced lasers and equipment and are clearly informed on what they are doing. I can’t speak to the now myriad services they offer, but if you are considering tattoo removal, you should go nowhere else.

When I first had a consultation with Danelle, I had very little knowledge about the removal process and was pretty nervous. I was unsure if this was something I wanted to actually go through with. I had a couple of bad experiences at Tataway that would prevent me from recommending it to others. At my first visit (to their old location), I was rushed in and out so fast that I didnt have time to ask any questions and ended up getting sick in the lobby. There were no issues at my next few visits, but at my last visit, the numbing machine wasnt working, and Carmen just used ice. It was awful - so painful and incredibly unprofessional. I cancelled the rest of my appointments and decided that I was better off keeping the tattoo than going back to Tataway.

Havent gotten the actual treatment yet. But they are and were super awesome to me and my ugly tattoo. From the initial phone call, the up lifting reminder text reminders to the swanky professional office space. They treated me with value and respect. Cant wait to get my ink removed

I havent been serviced yet but my consultation was amazing. I left overly informed with numerous options to chose from( for myself). The representative Gina, was very professional, knowledgeable, intuitive, kind and compassionate.

I went in with my friend and she had an ankle tattoo removed. They were very patient with her and explained all the details. They are definitely there to help you and not just make money! Her tattoo is almost completely gone, only a little patch of slightly darker skin but its only noticeable close up... it looks great!

I made a last minute decision that had clearly been on my mind. I first saw The Finery on IG and then that was it. I called. Had a phone consultation. Booked an appointment that day (I low key demanded it). Had another consultation ( they love consultations there lol). This one was a little more intensive and Kayla discussed the process and money and all that.Before I chickened out, I asked about another piece I wanted to remove. She educated me on the nuances of the dyes and that blue and red are the devils and that you can’t remove them for risk of hypopigmentation.Sign, sealed and delivered, I had my appointment that day to start my services. The actual service took about 10min. And if you’ve ever put a rubber band around your wrist and snapped it, that’s what it felt like. If you can sit for the duration of getting a tattoo, the removal is way less aggressive and a simple enough procedure.Anyways, see Kayla, she’s great. And made me laugh. The photos are worthy of blackmail, but I’ll get over it lol.

Prior to visiting the Finery I had laser treatments at 2 other places and was dissatisfied. I had multiple treatments at both places and I wasnt impressed with the results. One place actually scarred me with being over zealous with the treatments. Well I heard about this place and thought Id give it a try. I had treatments with both lasers and was happy with the results! I think the ice treatment before the laser treatment helps facilitate the process. I can actually recommend this place...unlike the other 2 places. This place knows what theyre doing! 2 thumps up from me!

I am a tattoo collector that has been lasered over 20 times. I pretty much thought I knew it all...but I didnt. Dayna the nurse tech and Phil the owner took the extra time and steps to make sure I was informed and comfortable with my treatment. In just 24 hours the swelling and soreness from the treatment subsided and I can already see a visible difference in the area that was treated. I will definately be scheduling follow up appointments to get this old tattoo removed!

Do you have a horrible 90’s tribal tramp stamp on your back?? Do you wish it would just disappear? Me too!!! And 4 sessions later, I am well on my way to being able to turn my back, take off my hoodie, and not be jeered at by anyone with an opinion on tribal tramp stamps, which, let’s be honest, is everyone. Gina had the privilege of watching me nervous sweat my way to the table today. She let me marinate with an ice pack while she reviewed my previous 3 treatments and then I was just a few choice words and some deep breaths from being on my merry way. As faded as it is, it stills felt like she was putting lit cigarettes out on my back, and yet, it’s still not as painful as the past twenty-odd years of being ridiculed for this gem. The most current pic was taken 2 hours after treatment so it’s still a bit red and angry.

Maya is a total psycho! And SO unprofessional! First, my appointment started late, however Im not sure why, as she clearly hadnt read a single word of my info, and there was no one else in the place. Then as were discussing different lasers, I told her (totally nonoffensively) that the other two places Ive had treatments had given me the opposite info from what she was telling me. She jumped down my throat, saying well youre a nurse so you CLEARLY know all about this, but Im currently the most experienced in the WORLD. (Whoa sister). After this she sized my tattoos, and put all 3 small tattoos into one group. I told her thats what other clinics have done in the past as well but that when I had called Tataway I had asked if that was possible I was told no. She completely went off, practically yelling, saying she was glad they had told me no bc she may have changed it and blah blah. I couldnt believe the way she spoke to me, just totally condescending and rude and angry. There are always two sides; maybe she perceived my questions in a WILDLY different way than I intended. I didnt think my questions were rude at all, but again, wow. I literally asked if she was the owner, and when she replied yes, I walked out. I cant believe this place is still in business after the way I was just treated!

Trust me when I say I had been to SEVERAL different tattoo removal places when I lived in Miami before moving back to Boston. All of them made empty promises about how great their lasers were and how quick my removal process would be. None of them lived up to what they promised.Tataway not only has the best lasers out there, but they also have the most professional yet friendly staff I have met at a tattoo removal place. They really go above and beyond. None of the other places ever did a follow up to see how you are doing after your treatment the way they do at Tataway.I have been trying to get rid of a tattoo that was mostly blue & green that after 3 years at other places was still only half gone. After only 6 treatments with the Pico laser at Tataway it is now about 95% gone. :)If you are looking to get rid of an unwanted tattoo in the Boston area I would strongly suggest going to Tataway!!!

Ive been going to Tataway for a few months to get my tattoo removed. I have been getting the Pico Sure treatment and its been great. Carmen and her team are really nice and professional and I have recommended them to all of my friends looking to get rid of their tattoos.

The staff at Tataway are very friendly and professional and create a comfortable atmosphere for clients during their visit. Ive been receiving treatment with the new Picosure laser to remove two tattoos on my wrists (one in black ink, the other in color) and so far I am very pleased with the results. Not only are the tattoos increasingly faded, but the pain and blistering becomes less with each treatment and there is hardly any scarring at all (just some slight discoloration of the treated skin which returns to its normal pigmentation within a few weeks). The staff even follow up with you a few days after treatment to see how you are doing, so its reassuring to know that they care and want to make sure you are healing well! While having tattoos removed is not cheap in general, the pricing for access to their state-of-the-art Picosure laser is quite reasonable if you consider that fewer treatments are required compared to older laser technologies, and the process is less damaging to your skin. Overall, Id highly recommend checking out Tataway if you are ready to invest in a new and improved you through tattoo removal.

If you go ANYWHERE ELSE you are crazy. Everyone here is professional, kind, courteous, and they dont make you wait forever. If youre on time, you will be in and out.
