Artist Adam Woods is pleasant to do business with. He listens carefully to you in order to create the exact tattoo you want. The prices are also great and reasonable. the experience was also not as painful as my last tattoo (done by a different person at a different location). You are also made aware before leaving of the recommended aftercare to keep your tattoo looking good. I would highly recommend this artist for your tattoo.

Okay so, y’all know I love to rant and rave about the BEST EVER EXPERIENCES that make crappy ol life some how worth living.Today I went to Murder ink tattoo to get this crazy piercing unstuck from INSIDE my ear.I called yesterday to check and see what I would be need to do to come in and have the earring removed, the piercer (May) was absolutely the coolest ever. She told me when she was available, if there was a cost, answered all my questions, the works. I put their address on my calendar and proceeded to come in the next day.When I got there, the place looks like a Halloween/scary movie lovers’s dream. Tons of cool masks n stuff, very clean, well lit, well decorated facility.May called be back and talked to me right away about what was wrong. She remembered that I called, inspected carefully, and gave me a run down of what to expect. She handled her tools well, she was knowledgeable, competent, and handled my very terrible situation like the pro she is.I’m so happy that she was able to get the earring out, AND suggested options for follow-up/after care.I couldn’t thank her enough for taking the time to fix my situation, and the time patience, and energy she put into being careful not to be unnecessarily forceful, or dismissive to my concerns.If you need a fantastic piercer who knows what she is talking about, go talk to May at Murder Ink. She is sooooo wonderful.

I had a shoulder cap tattoo done by Adam Woods. I have had 2 other pieces done by Adam and he is great to work with, very professional from concept to creation. Would highly recommend him to anyone who is looking to get some artwork done.

Overall a great experience, May was professional and very sweet, and although their prices for piercings are very reasonable, I would still recommend saving a couple of dollars and not getting the rhinestones. They’re basically BBs with a tiny embedded stone, and personally I don’t think they look very good, and I wish they offered more traditional studs.

May was very kind and understanding even though I have such low pain tolerance and horrible anxiety, and she was very thorough with after care instructions. Inside of the store looks great too, and all the other staff were very nice as well. Most importantly I’m very happy with my piercing!! Will be coming back if I want to get another one

I loved this place. got my nose pierced on february 17th by may! she was amazing and had such a good vibe. she also did my roommates jewelry change and my roommate is pleased. the price is great and not too much. very reasonable. walk ins are available and the wait was not even 20 minutes long. overall this place is just great and i recommend you go if you want anything piercing wise done!

After almost 60 years I finally decided on a tattoo. I wanted a tattoo of my dogs paw to remember him by. It was important to me that it be perfect and Jared delivered exactly what I wanted. I was stopping by just hoping to ask a few questions and was fortunate enough to get it done on the same visit as a drop-in. If I ever decide to have another one done this will be my first top.

Got my nose pierced on a whim with my sister. They accepted a walk-in and was very nice and professional. Our artist was bubbly and fun and told us everything upfront about the piercing aftercare and what to expect. Was spot on and even gave us a print out sheet of what to do and not to use. Would recommend this place!

Everyone was so nice and helpful helping me figure out the type of jewlery I wanted and were so patient with me. Probably the best experience I’ve had with any piercing place. Changed my piercings super fast and well no charge.

No hate to any of the artists involved here! I got 4 tattoos done that didn’t wow me and were looked down upon with other artists, lines aren’t straight and the images aren’t symmetrical/ and some appeared “fuzzy”. As for piercings I got 5 done here and had to take out 4 (after carefully following after care instructions) 2 of them were on my ear and should’ve been healed 2 months ago but continued to get worse. Personally I feel the cheaper option isn’t always the best option.

We just LOVE Brooke! She is very helpful, professional and friendly. My daughters have been going to her for the last couple of years for many piercings. Not one problem with any of them. Her area is very clean, and she shows you everything she is working with. This place gets busy, as they do have a great reputation, so call ahead. Professional service, friendly people!

Cannot say enough how pleased I am with my experience, Zach was great, I called shortly after they opened, expecting to have to wait a couple days to get in, but they were able to fit me in the same day. I had pictures of what I wanted, he was able to adjust the image to achieve the artistic image I wanted. I loved the atmosphere too.

Zachary was my tattoo artist! I’ve been to Murder Ink before for other body modifications but this time was exceptional! He did complimentary quirky frog tattoos for my best friend and I. He was easy to talk to and made us feel really comfortable. His playlist was super comforting and relaxing. I highly recommend! He turned out cute little outline sketches into little life long buddies. I’ll definitely be requesting him again in the future for more work!

After a terrible experience at a shop in the Toledo area, I reached out to have a tattoo touched up and was connected with Zachary. He was very professional and easy going, listening to what I was looking for and explaining issues I might have after the touch up due to the location of the tattoo. He also provided me with the proper care steps needed for the tattoo, unlike the previous shop. I highly recommend Murder Ink Tattoo Co, especially Zachary!

Mixed feelings. 1st of all, getting through and getting a return call is nearly non existent. However, once you walk in, you are greeted decently. I had an appointment scheduled with a specific artist on a certain day. I was told he was running 50 to 60 minutes behind. I killed the time with shopping. When I returned at the specified time, I was told he is still running behind but I cannot wait for him because they close at 8pm. Seriously? Ive had this appointment for weeks. She did offer me a different artist so I could still get my tattoo that day. I took a chance and allowed a guy named Adam do it. And very glad i did. He stayed late to accommodate me and although I was kept waiting a bit longer, he saved the day by giving me exactly what I wanted. He was enjoyable to be around and best and most of all, he did a great job. Excluding the fact he carved holes in parts. Very heavy handed at times but I have a high pain tolerance so I made it through with minimal sweat. ESPECIALLY after having it thrown at him at the last minute, he did a great job on the design. Had he not come along and did such a good job, this rating would be much less. Im not saying I will come back to Murder Ink, but if I did, id definitely be a little more abrasive, firm, or whatever to make sure the appointment is going to go as planned. Theres no reason I couldnt have A) been told before I even left home, or B) when I was away for an hour waiting while he ran late. Its NOT THAT DIFFICULT to call or text a client to let them know their artist is behind or rescheduling. So on a communication level, they get an F on their grade card. The rest are Cs or Ds. Except Adam. He gets a B. The night ended on a happy/friendly note with the girl that works up front as well. Therefore- the 2 star rating.

I decided I wanted my industrial pierced, so I went to this shop because it was the only one near me (I go to school at BGSU). I quickly realized after the appointment that my industrial was done wrong. I am in no way a professional, but after some research it was clear that my ear was not the right shape for this piercing. As professionals, they should have told me that my ear would most likely not heal correctly because of the way it is shaped. Instead, they pierced it anyway and my ear was in immense pain for days until I decided to go back to either get it taken out and get a different piercing or get two separate hoops put in the holes that were already made instead of the bar. I had a different lady than the first time and she told me my ear was not the right shape, as I suspected, so I asked her if I could just get it taken out and maybe get a different piercing since it wasnt really my fault that the girl pierced it knowing my ear was most likely not ever going to heal. She said we cannot offer free piercings just because of that, how your body reacts to the piercing does not have to do with us. This is very true, but the lady that pierced my ear should have known that the shape of my ear plus any swelling would not allow the piercing to heal right, meaning regardless, it should not have been pierced in the first place. I didnt want to argue with this lady, since she wasnt the one who pierced my ear in the first place, so I just asked her to put in two separate hoops and she agreed. Since my ear was already super irritated and became even more so after switching the jewelry, my helix piercings have been struggling to heal. I have kept up with the aftercare and babied them as much as possible, but it doesnt seem like they will ever heal. I wanted to simply get it taken out and get another piercing instead (since this one was technically done when it shouldnt have been), but they would not do that for me. Now, I am still struggling to get these helix piercings to heal and it is most definitely a pain in the neck. Bottom line is any professional piercer should have been able to look at my ear and realize an industrial would most likely never heal right in my ear, therefore refuse to do it. They did not do this and did not really make up for the trouble they put me through. From my experience, they lack professionalism.

I got a tattoo done here over 2 years ago but it was a great experience. But more recently my sister got her naval periced and it was so quick! We were in and out in about 5 minutes! Staff was friendly and helpful. Its almost all healed up now and she loves it!

Love this establishment! Speaking as a parent who has only been here twice with my daughter as she gets piercings, the staff is very professional and welcoming to customers. It feels like alot of fun to be here but immediately you know their first priority is to sterile instrumentation and work place. Lots of jewelry choices and prices are extremely reasonable.

Joe has done all of my tattoos and his work is phenomenal. Highly recommend Murder Ink to anyone looking to get work done!!!

UPDATE: the back fell off of my piercing once again and as I was home for break I couldn’t go to Murder Ink to get it fixed. I went to a local piercing shop to get it fixed and they informed me that the wrong jewelry was used for my piercing. At Murder Ink they took a straight barbell and bent it. The shop I went to today informed me that a “curved” barbell should not be used for a forward helix piercing and instead a flat back labret stud should be used. As soon as the piercer put the correct jewelry in, my piercing felt way better. I’m pretty disappointed that Murder Ink used the complete wrong jewelry, especially because the staff was so friendly and helpful. Unfortunately I would no longer recommend Murder Ink for more specific piercings like a forward helix.My friend and I went in on a Friday night to get our ears pierced (I got two forward helixes and she got a single helix). We were taken back for piercing by May right after we finished filling out our paperwork and May was extremely friendly. She walked us through all of the aftercare and answered all of our questions with detail. Everything was clean and sterile for our piercings. The process was quick and relatively painless. I had the backing of my piercing pop off a few days after I got it pierced so I went back to the shop and they put on a new backing for free. They were very kind about it and took care of it quickly. The piercing was very inexpensive, clean, and quick! If you’re looking for non-basic piercing jewelry, this may not be your place, but if you’re okay with a basic stud or hoop, I’d definitely recommend it to you.

Took my mom here for her first tattoo, and I got one as well. We had different artists and they were both excellent. Awesome staff w/ reasonable prices. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience from the moment we walked in the door. Would highly recommend to anyone!

Madi added four new piercings onto me and I couldnt be more satisfied about the outcome. She was very informative and gentle with me. The atmosphere is incredible and welcoming. Super clean and professional shop. Will be getting more piercings from Madi and hopefully a tattoo from the owner.

I am giving a 5 out 5 stars for numerous reasons. I saw the shop while driving and decided, “hey, maybe it is time for me to get tatted up.” What can I say... I walked in, immediately was able to get an estimate for a tattoo I was interested in, and in less than 3 hours I was out of there with a tattoo that I love! I had an amazing and friendly artist named Sam, and I will definitely be back again. Maybe next time I’ll even get a tattoo across my butt cheeks just for laughs!! Awesome job!

Staff was kind and the tattoos I got here were relatively cheap. The artist took time to figure out a needle that would work well with my skin.However, I had to take off stars for two reasons. 1 - the shop requires all clients to wear masks, but when I got there not all staff was. I assumed this was just because they were vaccinated. A few minutes after the artist started he admitted that he wasnt vaccinated because he was worried about microchipping. And 2 - I noticed the next day that the tattoo had a wobbled line that should have been a regular curve. It happened to work out fine on my tattoo, but I would never want that on a bigger or more complex piece.

Got my nose pierced and the people here were so friendly. My piercer was a very amazing lady. Made the experience comfortably and worry free. Was a great weekend in Bowling Green 2019.

My sister has gotten multiple tattoos here, and this is where I got my first tattoo. Absolutely love my tattoo! The staff is very funny and welcoming, plus the décor is super badass. My tattoo was done by Sam B, as was my sisters most recent, and I highly recommend her. Very polite and friendly, plus did a very good job. Ive been here 4 times Ive seen the man who does piercings, Sammie, and Bodah, all three were great very professional and friendly. Bodah Is the Best in my opinan nothing wrong with the other people though. His work is slick, and you can tell he really digs his work.

Price is good, love it here! 2/3 tattoos done here. Everyones so nice and accommodating. Sketched out the tattoo I wanted on the spot, we had to print it out about four times and they had no complaints even when I was being picky.

Murder Ink. Is a great place to go. I highly recommend this shop for tattoos and piercings. However me and my sister got Tina and Louis Beltcher from Bobs burgers and the guy who did mine forgot her eyebrows. Im not mad at it and I will continue to go back to this shop for more tattos and piercings. GREAT WORK GUYS!!!

Amazing place, I got my first tattoo here of a water color crescent moon with mandala/zentangle detailing. It has alot of detail and very nice colors and its a fairly larger size for an amazing price! They where even willing to work with my budget. Also Eric (sorry if spelled incorrectly) is my go to man for my piercings, very chill and professional dude. I plan to get more tattoos and piercings done here again very soon!

This used to be a great business that I was proud to send people to, not now.....After firing one of your best if not the best artist in the area you do your best to make yourselves look good and do everything you can to make him look like the bad guy when all he was and is trying to do is make a better life for his family......Oh yea and I also have a few blowouts from your weaker artitsts that you claim are just as good......I guess if youre reading this as a potential customer do yourself a favor and call another tattoo shop
